We did two make your own pasta, I did the spicy tomato sauce with gnocchi. It was so fresh and flavorful. Would definitely come back again to try more.

Damo Pasta Lab is a true hidden gem in Philadelphia! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the passion behind the place — the owner, originally from Italy, brings a warm and authentic touch that makes the experience even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. We tried the pasta all’arrabbiata, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked with just the right amount of heat and flavor. You can really taste the quality and freshness in every bite. If you're looking for real, handmade Italian pasta and genuine hospitality, Damo Pasta Lab is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent lasagna, served promptly in a lovely atmosphere. This was our first visit, but we’ll be back. My son said it was the best lasagna he’s had.

Order on the monitor. Moderate pricing. Cacio e Pepe was very salty and too much cream. You can choose how al dente you want the pasta. But it was too hard for me. Maybe this just wasn’t their star dish.

the pasta and atmosphere is excellent, but the $18 lunch deals are a little high for what you get (pasta, "salad" - just lettuce w/ olive oil, and a sugary drink). i would give 5 stars if the salad contained 4-5 cherry tomatoes and a little parmesan cheese, a tad more pasta, and unsweet iced tea (instead of sugar drinks with 30g+ of sugar). there should definitely be more drink options (besides water and diet coke w/ fake sugar) for those who don't or can't consume a lot of sugar. otherwise, the existing meal should be $15. i hope damo makes the recommended changes, which would convince me to frequent more often and recommend to others.

Once I came in, I was greeted by the owner, very cozy and friendly atmosphere and it was great to see people caring so much for their business. This is the best value for this quality of pasta you can get in the area! Pasta is cooked to al dente and the dishes may be simple but it’s done very well (in my opinion this is a hard feat to accomplish) needless to say will return again, Ive recommended a ton of people to their first location and will continue to do so! They have several vegetarian options and also are very accommodating to dietary restrictions.It is a little counter intuitive as you order by the kiosk at the end of the restaurant, but it is a small layout so it’s understandable. Honestly was debating if I should share this gem with the world worried about this place being too popular but I have to share because it’s just too good! Highly recommend their tonnarelli cacio e pepe as well so so so good!

Authentic Italian restaurant specialized in pasta with good quality ingredients. I tried different dishes :my favorites are"pappardelle ai funghi" and "chitarra alla teramana" .

I finally decided to try DaMo Pasta Lab after they opened in my neighborhood a few months back and it was even better than I expected it to be. The restaurant is small, yet stylish and suited more for takeout than enjoying the fine dining faire that they serve in house. In fact, while the dining room had only one person eating, several takeout orders were fulfilled while I waited for my order. There are plenty of great pasta options to choose from and every dish is made fresh to order, with the finest of ingredients. I ordered Casarecce Al Pesto with some grilled chicken and the nicely sized portion was delicious and oh so satisfying. The service I received was friendly and attentive, which I find to be almost as important as the food. My only gripe was that I didn't see any options to add meat to the pasta dish on their website, which was something I was looking for. In order to add chicken to my pasta I had to go to the "Italian American" side of the menu, which allowed you to build your own pasta dish. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice just to be able to add chicken or even meatballs over on the "Padta Italiana" side of the ordering page. That being said, now I know where to go (and how to order) some great not-your-everday pasta.

We traveled into Philly and decided to try DaMo through delivery for dinner at our Airbnb. Wow I wasn't expecting everything to be so dang tasty!! The pasta definitely tasted homemade and everything from the pasta, bread, sauce and meatballs were absolutely delicious. Even my cannoli had one of the best cannoli creams I've ever tasted! I wish we didn't live so far away, this would definitely be a regular staple.

We had high expectations going in with the high reviews but we're disappointed. Pros- pasta is very hot. The noodle itself is well-cooked and not too soggy. Environment was well decorated and service was fast. Cons- portion is very very very small. This is the size of a large size pasta in the picture. Not a fan of the taste either. Way too salty. For some reason the store smells a little weird despite the renovation. Will not go again.

We were blown away by the pasta dishes served here. I had Tonnarelli Cacio E Pepe that was lush & creamy with just the right amount of fresh black pepper. Michael had Tagliatelle Al Ragu' Bolognese which was meaty and delicious. We ordered and were served (with love) by the husband/wife duo, although the most common way to order is to use a kiosk. There is a cafe style dining area to eat in. Prices were fair, Portions were appropriate, Pasta was cooked to order. 5 tomatoes!

Great addition to the Rittenhouse square area. Very casual, good pastas with lots of choices. Been a few times now and one consistent quip is that It's all unnecessarily salty - they should cut the salt back like 20% and the sauces would really be way better.

Damo Pasta Lab is amazing! The pasta was super good--perfectly al dente with authentic flavors. My husband and I loved it. The service was great, very quick and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. We've done takeout and eaten at the restaurant, and the place is very cute with a nice ambiance. We'll definitely keep coming. It's a hidden gem!

This is a very neat idea that is perfectly executed: make upscale restaurant pasta at a reasonable price mostly for take-out in a simple environment. Food is made promptly and to order. It works! We've ordered 4 different dishes on two different occasions. All were expertly prepared with choice ingredients (plentiful pine-nuts in the pesto - who does that anymore?). No skimping here. The bill for two for two large pasta dishes was between $40-$50, and we had some leftovers. Very fair.

This is an amazing hidden gem on 21st St. in Rittenhouse area. Very clean, very reasonably priced and amazing pasta, including the gluten-free Pomodoro rigatoni.

Great pasta, great people, great location. I go there every time I can. As a native Italian i have to say this is one of the few places where i can taste authentic pasta.
