Dana Kabob Aurora

Skewers are big and fresh made. Took a bit long to get order ready. The lady in front is not very good at English, and even forgot our order, we don’t have any rice and she asked what salad we need-lol . 🤦🏼‍♀️ Not sure if chicken tastes sour is the normal, but first time for the sour flavour.

I have ordered here many times and they are so consistently good, it’s amazing. Everything I’ve tried here has been so good. The portions and cost are worth it. The quality and taste of the food is excellent

Absolutely loved the food! This is hands down one of the best Persian restaurants I’ve tried. The kabobs were juicy and perfectly seasoned, the rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the stews were rich with authentic flavors. Everything tasted homemade and fresh. The packaging for takeout was neat and kept the food warm. Highly recommend to anyone craving real Persian cuisine—can’t wait to order again

The service was excellent. The food was acceptable but not outstanding. I ordered baghali polo with lamb shank. The rice was good, but the lamb shank had a slight off-putting smell, and the meat portion was smaller compared to competing restaurants. The koobideh was average, and the shishlik was just so-so.

The staff were very friendly, attentive, and professional. Everything was handled quickly and smoothly — from the moment I placed my order until the food was ready. We have ordered from Dana Kabob a few times and have always been happy with their food. The last time we did, had a slight misccomunication. I ordered green rice and got regular rice instead. I called the store and they offered to replace it if I were to come back. Everyone was hungry by that point, so I declined their offer. A few minutes later they call back and offer to deliver the rice to my house, which I accepted. They didn't need to do that but these small gestures show the kind of business they are. These moments create loyal customers!

I travel from US to Toronto once or twice a month, and on the way, I always stop by Dana Kebab for lunch. I always remember Iran with two skewers of kebab and a tomato. Here, they always add extra tomato, onion and bread to my meal, and no matter how much I insist, they never charge me for the extra items. The lady sitting behind the counter reminds me of my mother, with her kind demeanor and gentle smile. The food quality is excellent. Thank you

Came by here to grab a takeout. Got their chicken breast with rice. The chicken was soooo flavourful. The rice was so good as well. Such great flavours. Service was quick and the inside is clean. We'll definitely be coming back!

Still top notch consistent kebab and quality kebab with tomatoes. Packaging changed now the long kebabs don't get folded (see photo). It's a pickup place and service is as friendly as it is for pickup. All smiles and offers free soda with combos for pickups. Got a tv now with music and dancing going on for ambiance so that's great. Anything as competitive will have to drive down to Richmond hills for the flavoured rice at Bamiyan

I visited Dana recently and was disgusted with their hygiene! I walked in the door and noticed as they were serving food the owner stopped to pick his ears and nose while flakes of nose buggar fell into the food. I asked him to wash his hands . He went to the back and came out a second later and did not wash his hands! It you want to get sick ,eat here! Disgusting hygiene practice, very unclean!

Quality value and price is good. Finally found one around this area thats good. They're very clean also. I've tried their Chenjeh and Koobideh (ground meat) and chicken leg so far and all are good not over dry, overgrilled and consistent.

50 with no salad damn crazy. I came there and buy 2 kubideh and somehow payed 46$ and there were no salad inside.

A clean & simple no-frills location that we always order take out from and have never dined in. The meals we've had have always been so good. Very friendly service and excellent value. Our #1 spot when looking for delicious Persian fare.

This is review is for the koobideh, as it was the only thing I ordered. Meat was seasoned to perfection, butter and sumac on piping hot rice took me to heaven and back. The meal comes with either a salad or pop. The salad was very refreshing and the dressing is creamier, better than the usual vinaigrette. Writing this review is making me drool, this will be on my restaurant rotation for sure.

If you really want to have delicious and tasty Persian food, Dana Kabob with be your best bet. If I could, I wish to have 10 stars instead of 5. Today, I ordered Ghormeh Sabzee with Uber Eats. I forgot to order the rice. The owner of Dana Kabob was so generous and called me. Although he sent me the rice, he sent me salad and Coca at no charge. He was super professional and super customer care. His food was very delicious, and clean, with such a beautiful Zaferan design, as well as a special homemade essence. Strongly suggest Dana Kabob if you are in the areas of Richmond Hill, Aurora, or New Market. Best of the Best

I recently discovered this place. We love it. Have been going back once a week for the past 4 weeks. The food is delicious and fresh. The meat melts in your mouth and the rice is out of this world. Family owned place, they're super friendly and the guy knows me by name. Best Persian restaurant in Newmarket and Aurora. Finally!!!
