"This all-you-can-eat Vietnamese restaurant showcases traditional bite sized tapioca, like bánh bột lọc trần, and rice dumplings, such as Bánh bèo tôm chấy. Lunch and dinner service also comes with a selection of noodles and stews." - Didi Paterno

It's a bit pricey per person but it includes everything on the menu and the buffet bar. We tried the #1, 2, 6, 7, 9 and 11. All were delicious and were served in just the right portion so you don't overfill on one dish. #1 and #11 were my favorite, if you're not a fan of anchovy flavor #11 may not be the dish for you as it does come with anchovy sauce. My husband really enjoyed #6, the grilled pork is very tender and glazed with some sort of sweet sauce that gives it great flavor.

Went there late on a Saturday afternoon, an hr to close. So that might be a factor. Read on. Went in and thought it was funny the place was roped off at the entrance like a theater. lol. But got seated and went to check out the drink selection. Thumbs up for the choices. I tried each and everyone of them. Then I went for the soup. Started of with the Bún Riêu and Mi Quang. They had a fixings table that you can top off your noodles. Both noodles were spot on, esp the Mi Quang. Went to get some hot food from the buffet selection. I have to admit.. next time i will skip it. Mostly not very good. Cat fish was fishy, chicken wings were tough and mediocre in taste, fried stuff was flabby and mostly disappointing. Even the Bánh xèo was soggy in the middle. Went back to drink station and noodle station to keep my spirits up. Got a Mi Quang and a beef pho this time. Skip the beef pho, my advice. Wish I had room for another Mi Quang but there were about to close so got a shave ice dessert. Did not finish it, it was not very good. So for 23$ a head, you make the call. I thought it was a little on the high side but you are paying for the selection of noodle dishes and other things. The staff was very attentive and kept everything spotless so yay for that. Second time: I was hungry and I happened to be close to the place. So went there again. Looks like its limited hrs (weekends only ? better call)and they bring you some of the dishes (mostly soup) and I like that better. The hot food items also seem better this time around. New items were the papaya and mango salad. Great choices, dont skip it

Interesting concept. When you arrive you pay first and gratuity is included in the bill. I think it’s like $28/adult and $13/child or something like that. Not a huge selection on the buffet. We wished the quality of the food was much better. They had a sweet and sour fish soup that was memorable and reminiscent of home. 5/5 Nuoc nam wasn’t too bad (used a lot for most of these dishes). 3/5 The variety of veggies is what amazed me. I’m happy they have such a good selection! Pho lacked flavor. Wasn’t beefy at all. Bun Bo Hue lacked flavor as well. Bun Rieu, broth wasn’t great. But if you’re taking a good bite of everything… tomato with noodles and broth, then it was ok. I forgot to take a picture… but, they have a self serve station of drinks with little teeny tiny cups! With a variety of teas, lemonade and water. Of course, ice too! Everything else wasn’t too bad! I wouldn’t return by myself… but, I would most likely be back with the in laws, to see their take on it. 😁.

My wife and I decided to stop in at DaNang Souphouse one rainy evening as we had never been previously. It is quite pricy at $17+/person although it is all-you-can-eat. Our first impression as soon as we walked in is that they take COVID precautions very seriously by taking your temperature at the door. Utensils were sanitized and provided in plastic and you are required to have a mask and must wear gloves when choosing selections in line. The servers were very attentive. If the name hadn’t already given it away, a variety of Vietnamese cuisine is served here. Our particular favorites were the Bun Bo Hue and Mi Quang. I was pleasantly surprised at how great the broth of both dishes tasted. I might even say that the Mi Quang may be the best I’ve ever had. Other bowl dishes that are served are: Beef Pho, Bun Rieu (crab paste noodle soup), Bun Thit Nuong (beef and pork vermicelli) and a few other vermicelli style noodle bowls. The Banh Beo and Banh Nam were also good. All the other options were just average at best. All-in-all, I would say that this restaurant is not worth the $17+/person for what is provided.

Honestly, The food was good. I just don’t think it’s worth $25 a person (including my 15yr old). Just not a lot to choose from for that much money. Disappointed they didn’t have spring rolls, easy to make and fill up quickly. They also make you pay first, which is ok. Except the tip comes before the service, which is strange. Service for the ala cart was slow to nonexistent unless you flag someone down.

Google
This is a rare Vietnamese buffet. Right now it's $25 per person for lunch, but you can taste a variety of Vietnamese cuisine! You can order specialty dishes off a menu (part of the buffet) and also go to the buffet line. My favorites here were the banh beo and bun rieu. I thought the banh xeo was unique because it had a deep-fry crunch to it. Mi quang, bun thit nuong, and the banh bot loc were all delicious too. Come try this place for the Viet food, and don't judge them on the nuggets and fries.

Came by around noon for lunch and it was a packed house. I came here specifically for the AYCE Banh Xeo and Banh Bot Loc and was certainly not disappointed. The Banh Xeo were super crispy and had great flavor. The Banh Bot Loc were also well made and were very tasty. After I had my fill, I realized they also had other goodies such as Banh Beo and Banh It as well as a soup station with a nice variety of Pho, BBH, Mi Quang, BTN, Bun Rieu, and Bun Man Nem. I tried the BBH and it was also nicely made. There were even more things on the buffet line that also tasted great (see pics). I thought overall the food was genuinely good quality Vietnamese food that was satisfying and worth the 20$ for all day AYCE. The staff were attentive and super nice. I will certainly come back and would definitely recommend this spot. It’s a hit.

Google
1st time visit a Vietnamese buffet style, and LOVE it! They took your temperature before letting you in and give you plastic gloves. I want to give them compliments on how they handle with Covid. I love the foods because they are yummy. I love the atmosphere with the structure and decoration. I love the service for the waiters and servers are so friendly and kind. Overall, love this place and definitely love to come back and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Come and check them out y'all!!!

Yelp
AYCE vietnamese hidden gem. DFW is horrible at marketing and advertisement so unless you are actively exploring areas, you would NEVER come across gems like these. The food items are decent quality and small portioned so that you can try more should you desire. Their drinks are super sweet so you will need to water it down. Overall, a decent vietnamese place if youre craving soups and other dishes of the like. I Recommend getting some basil and mint leaves to even out the heavy flavors of the dishes they have.

David L.

Yelp
Really enjoyed having dinner here! The restaurant looked new and clean, food was great, and service was prompt. Love that the soups were made fresh to order and smaller portions so that you didn't fill up on just one thing. Everything tasted very authentic and good quality!

Megan N.

Yelp
The concept of this place is really cool! A Vietnamese-themed buffet! Similar to those in Houston! However, food items were just okay in flavor. Nothing outstanding or tasted amazing. There was a good amount of variety, though some things were already sold out. I would say if they improve the flavor quality and quantity, then the business would be better. Still worth trying out though! But I have to say the ones in Houston are better!

Yelp
What kind of business that close any time they want without properly informing their customers?

Lanie N.

Yelp
So I would have given this place all 5 stars if 1. They didn't rush me out of there after taking my money for only 30 min to eat. 2. They told me the kitchen would be open a little later since we just came in and paid full price... then they closed it down 30 min earlier. Wow. For my family of 5, we paid $127 to be rushed out of there and didn't even enjoy our meals. First of all, you should know this place is only open Saturday and Sunday. And their the menu outside the door says kitchen closes at 2:30 but they literally stop at 2. We walked in at 1, and were told that they will keep the kitchen open longer to serve us. I said are you sure? I would like plenty of time to eat .. and the manager came out and said yes we will keep it open longer. Til 2:15 or so. The food was pretty tasty and good. You're only allowed to order 3 items off the menu per table ... and the buffet was AYCE. I tried the bun Mam nem, pho and mi quang. It was all good and tasty like the foods in Da Nang. Bun Mam nem was very good. I also ordered the banh bot loc, banh Nam, and banh xeo. All were good. I definitely would come back for the food. The food wasn't the problem here... it was them taking my money and I didn't get to fully enjoy the foods and they shut down early. Anyways, be sure to go early, and eat all the foods. They have small servings so you can enjoy a bit of everything. The drink cups were so small, I don't know how many trips we made up there to get our drinks. Place is spacious and pretty clean.

Yelp
I didn't grow up eating DaNang foods like banh beo and mi quang but I was intrigued with this AYCE Viet food restaurant. My sister is a regular here so I tagged along. You walk into a brightly lit, industrial looking place with modern decor. You pay at the counter first before a server lets you into the dining area to seat you. There are booths as well as tables but enough to accommodate families. The servers were friendly and were on top of clearing off dishes. There's a noodle soup station where a staff member assembles your bowls with toppings and broth. You then move down to the veggie station to garnish your bowl. They even have notes on which veggie typically goes with which soup. How thoughtful for those not familiar with the cuisine! You can choose two noodle soups at a time. I really think this should be a two person station; one to assemble and one to pour the broth. The line can get backed up. I enjoyed the bun rieu and mi quang. My nieces like the pho and bun bo. I appreciate the smaller portions as they were just enough to satisfy yet not to the point where it fills you up. Next you have your finger foods and hot entrees. I enjoyed the ca ri ga (chicken curry), suon nuong ( grilled spare ribs) and tom cuon (fried shrimp rolls.) I didn't even get to tasting the banh beo or other DaNang specialties as I got full too fast. I did try the banh xeo, but it's not my favorite thing to eat in general. I will say, theirs was crispy. Next time, I'll have to try their canh chua, thit kho, and mi xao. I personally thought there were a good amount of dishes on the buffet, especially seeing as how I didn't even get to try them all. There's a self-serve drink station with several options including Vietnamese coffee, teas, and water. The glasses come in two sizes and the larger of the two is still too small for me. There's a dessert area with only a small selection. The che is good though and again, I appreciate the smaller portion. It was refreshing and just enough to end the meal on a sweet note. I do agree with other reviewers that fruit would be a good addition. If you walk in at opening time like we did, you're corralled in this small roped in area at the register waiting to pay. There were a few other parties piling in so it was very uncomfortable being so close. The tables are pretty close to each other as well. Now as for the restroom, it was so pretty and clean. Like, seriously, one of the nicest restroom I've been to at any Asian restaurant. The price of the meal is $20 per person but considering drinks are included, I don't think it's that bad. They are serving labor intensive dishes and I get to eat a variety which I love. Definitely will be back once the weather gets cooler.

Katelyn L.

Yelp
Weren't sure what we were eating here everything was so bland or super sweet. Always want to support a local business, but they have a lot of work to do. Fraction of Kim Son would be nice. Service was decent!

Hoang V.

Yelp
1 of my orders never came out, even though 1 of the server assured me it will come out. Between the time that server assured me & the time I left, it was 30 min. Of course, I had to leave bc there is a time limit of 90 min. Kind of disappointing for a place that charges a premium price. Their thai hotpot soup was very mid.

Paul K.

Yelp
Three stars really does seem about right for this spot, which seems as much a front for money laundering as a restaurant that is only open select lunch and dinner weekend hours. The experience is really awkward - you pay upfront $30 for the buffet which is a mix of stand alone thing but mostly things you order (3 at a time) to the table. Only a few of the items at the buffet looked/were good - the pancake, the beef rib and the rice crepe - but the shrimp on every dish was terribly overcooked and pork was so minced you could barely tell it was there. The broth in the hot pot and the bun bo hue was good and the various flavored teas and coffee were appreciated, but I think they need to streamline their buffet with better items - the soggy frozen french fries can go.

Yelp
Unexpectedly expensive and surprisingly average in some areas, Danang Souphouse was a disappointment--and I really wanted to love it! I found this establishment through TikTok (people raving about it, etc.) and have always wanted to go but it was almost an hour away. Until finally, one weekend, my relatives and I decided it was a great time to go for Vietnamese All-You-Can-Eat! Now, Viet AYCE isn't common for us to eat in the DFW area, I don't know many places that do AYCE for mainly Viet foods (we leave that to yearly trips to Houston, Kim Son Buffet is amazing)...and I can't say this was relatively good start to Viet AYCE outside of Houston. The atmosphere was very modern with Bblack and white everywhere you looked, seating and tables were generally clean. You pay before you eat, but with the price our party paid, that was simply outrageous. We were charged an extra tax for a party of 6 (any party over 4 is charged) along with the regular dinner pricing which isn't cheap. But this was to trying it once, right? The checklist ordering for authentic Viet dishes was amazing, along with a select few from the small section of buffet line. Everything else was a hot mess, unappetizing frozen foods and pre-packaged desserts to overpowering curries and weird textures in supposedly normal foods...it would've been better had they left those items out, maybe it would of been a 3-star experience. The drink selection was small and average. Let me reiterate that if you do decide to come here, pretty-please-with-a-cherry-on-top use the checklist (even though it isn't non-Viet-reading-friendly) and order all those dishes! The buffet line is not worth your stomach room besides a few items! 2 stars

Unha K.

Yelp
This place is decent but overall it's weird. When we went it wasn't as busy on a Saturday at 1pm. This place has super odd hours. The options are pretty small at the buffet. They have good Banh xeo, which I can give them that. We order the dishes you can order off the menu separately. The chicken sticky rice is so good. The baby clams were okay. We also opt in hot pot. Their meat slices wasn't so fresh and it had a weird freezer burn taste to it. The service was slow when ordering. We rang the system but everyone else was just chillin in the front, and he has to be annoyingly flagged them down by going to the front. It's overprice overall.

Noah C.

Yelp
This was a very nice and unique place to eat! Many of the all you can eat locations are of American or Chinese cuisines. I have never been to an all you can eat Vietnamese place. The pho was very rich in flavor and springy. The ca phe sua da was also quite sweet, which is what I prefer. I ate my weight in fish and dumplings though haha.

S Y.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a Saturday morning right at opening time. 11:30 am now and there are 3 table seated including us. There are plenty of spaces for parking. This is a stand alone restaurants with an attached outdoor patio area which looks like a great place to sit when the weather is nice. I can see why there are complaints about this place. There are not a lot of items on the buffet. There are 5 noodle soup varieties including pho, bun bo hue, bun cha ca, mi quang, and bun thit nuong. The appetizers include chicken wings (drumettes), mini spring rolls/shrimp egg rolls, shrimp and some kind of flour wrapped and steamed in banana leaf (sorry, don't know the name), banh xeo. Desserts included corn sticky rice, fruit jelly, and some kind of Che (Vietnamese pudding). The flavors of the food overall are okay. There wasn't anything that stood out really. The banh xeo was crispy but also very oily. The noodle soup area: there is a list of 5 noodle soups to choose from. You tell the person behind the counter which one you want, and she prepares it for you. However, she is stingy with the meats. For the mi quang, she put in 2 small pieces of pork and one shrimp. I would have liked to put in my own meats. Also, after she put everything in the bowl, she popped it in the microwave. I don't like that. Why the need? You scooped the bowl and should have put hot noodle soup in it. That should have warmed it up. Criticism: to make this buffet better, improve the flavors of the noodle soups. It's just ok. Not great. You call yourself a noodle house, but the flavors of the broth are not complex or very flavorful. Also allow customers to put in their own meats. And don't use a microwave. Have more variety on the buffet. Is this place worth a try? I think it's good to eat here if you or someone you know wants to try Vietnamese food for the first time because you can try a little bit of the soups and appetizers. Would I come back here? No. Because there isn't anything memorable about the food here. And it's not worth $17.

Tom T.

Yelp
We drove about 30 mins to get to this place. Arrived at 750pm on Sunday night. There's a sign outside their door that says they're open until 9pm (even on Google maps). But their door was locked, so we knocked. A worker to the door to say they're closed (over an hour before what was said on their business hours sign) and basically shooed away. If you say you're open to 9pm, you should be open to 9pm. It's not that hard. Basically their hours info is false. Wasted our time.

Alexandra V.

Yelp
If you are looking for a real " Đà Nẵng" taste, this is a must-go-to place. Love their Banh xeo, bun mam, bun thit nuong, mi Quang, Banh bot lot, and banh beo . I did try their seafood menu, but it was not as good as I expected.

Christina T.

Yelp
This place doesn't look like much when driving by! It's definitely a hole in the wall! I love love Vietnamese food and I love all you can get buffets so to me this was the perfect choice to go for lunch. Some days they have 30 mins + wait but honestly I think it's worth it if you're looking for some homemade comfort food.

Cat N.

Yelp
it is good for what it is but I expect more variety and less greasy banh xeo. Would I come back? yes because I would pay $16 for decent banh xeo than make them at home. It is labor intensive and I just aint got time for all that. lets be honest here, any Vietnamese dish you cook at home is going to be better than at restaurants. We just dont want to cook at home because most Vietnamese dishes take all day to make. It's doable in Vietnam or for stay at home mom in America. Most moms in Vietnam in old days were stay at home moms. If you are a working family, no. Who has time to make all these dishes at home? Bun thit nuong was probably the best noodle dish. I like xoi bap but could be better, it was too mushy for my liking. Banh beo was also good. Flavor wise, it was a little Americanized for my liking. I need more variety. Would love to see banh cuon, banh bo, steamed buns, maybe spring roll bar.

Sophia L.

Yelp
Came here at 7:30 on a Sunday night. All signs indicate that the restaurant closes at 9 pm. Upon entering, the hostess immediately says, "We're closed." Tables were occupied with dining guests, and there was a family in line waiting to be seated. When I asked what she meant, she said that they close at 9 (it's 7:30) and that they can't seat any more guests for the night. I get being busy, but if you're going to "close" an hour and a half early, maybe indicate that somewhere before guests step into the actual restaurant.

Nga N.

Yelp
The only Vietnamese restaurant I know of in DFW that serves all you can eat. Don't expect a full on buffet. The menu is limited but I'm not mad about it. There are 5 type of noodles. The vermicelli with BBQ pork is probably the best one. It's a dry noodle base and the meat is super tender. For appetizers, I really like the banh beo-rice cake with shrimp, pork bits and crunchy fried scallion. Banh xeo and fried shrimp rolls are actually better than some pho places. There's only have 1 type of che and some fruits for desserts. I love che so that's the one thing I actually hope they would have more options for. Especially che with shaved ice. The restaurant is spacious. Nice decor. Clean. Full bar. Good service. I really hope they can maintain it this clean since it's all white/lighter color. I also hope they do well enough to stay in business. It's a good concept. It's not like the best food in the world but for $16, I'm pretty content.

David N.

Yelp
Very disappointed with this place. So many people walking around without masks on. No hand sanitizers on the tables and everyone is grabbing condiments, sauce, ice, etc. with their contaminated hands. Pros - Pho is tasty, but you will have to ask for sriracha since they don't leave it out - Bun bo is pretty good too - The staff is very accommodating and will let you put more/less/none of the things you like or don't like into your bowl - The staff walks around constantly and are good at picking up plates - The music selection is good. The music is geared towards 20 to 30 year olds - They only give you one set of of chopsticks and soup spoon. I feel like these should be readily available Cons - Portions are very small and the drink glasses are very small - The fruit punch tastes like water - Only the employees wear masks - All of the soups come out luke warm - Patrons that only care about themselves and not anyone else since they walk around without masks - Price is high compared to the limited selection of 6 main soup dishes and desserts. It is about $20 per person (when you add in tip). I would recommend a price of $15 pp. Overall, I wouldn't go back until they actually enforce the mask policy. This food is definitely not worth dying for.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place but it's expensive, and the food is average. Wait staff is good - bringing any orders. Also it's only open in the weekend which is inconvenient.

Tam N.

Yelp
Look like the business go down after the pandemic. The variety of food is less than before. And every time they fill up just couple of bowls and had to wait for a long time to get the dishes I want. Disappointed, won't come back again.

Diana N.

Yelp
I give this place a solid 3 stars. $16.99 was a bit overpriced for the limited selection menu. Although we ate our money's worth, I'm not sure if we will return. Food is fresh but flavor is a bit lacking. Only 6 types of noodle dishes on the day I went (pho, bun thit nuong, bbh, bun cha ca, and mi quang), they also had banh beo, banh bot loc, shrimp egg roll, regular egg rolls, fried wings, hominy sticky rice, mung bean che, and che Thap cam. Not a big selection so we got bored with the food and I ended up trying at least one of everything. They definitely need a rice dish or some chao to mix it up. Maybe some goi (salad) to cut all the carbs and dessert should include some fruit. Place is very clean and the work areas were always kept clean so that was a big plus. Place is decent sized and can probably seat 50-75 guests. Will I be back anytime soon? Probably not. I can spend the same amount and have similar food and have larger portions. It was great to try a new place though.

Ashley L.

Yelp
A one of a kind All-You-Can-Eat Vietnamese Restaurant in the Dallas area! There was a great variety of Vietnamese soups, dishes, and drinks to choose from. We thought the portions were on the smaller side, but perfect for trying the wide range of foods available! The service was also very friendly and attentive! I definitely want to come back!

Hang L.

Yelp
Mad props to the owner for opening a Vietnamese buffet because Vietnamese people are SO JUDGMENTAL (see other yelpers). For being a buffet priced at $17/person I felt that it was a fair price for the limited selection. There were about 10 menu items of which 4 were soup items. I was able to eat a bowl of Mi Quang and Bun Bo. Where the hell else could you do that at in one sitting? The portions were small but there's a reason for it - TO TRY THE REMAINING FOOD ITEMS! If you don't like one thing, move on to the next. I was born in America so all these stuff felt pretty decent to me. On top of all that, not a lot of restaurant offer banh beo or ban xeo so when you're craving the appetizer type foods, I think this is the place to go! You know those Vietnamese parties where food platters are sitting out full of delicious Vietnamese food? That's what this place is but in a nice, clean, very instagrammable, coffee like setting. My only compliant is there is the A/C is a bit weak and it felt like I was eating a bowl of soup in Vietnam. I was able to counter the heat through one of their delicious tea drink that came out in a cute mason jar. Definitely feel like I need to dress up so I can take some pics before stuffing my face next time I visit here! PS. they sell bottles here to all my alchys!

Holly N.

Yelp
Would I go back to this place again? Probably not.. Unless I have a group of friends who's craving all the different soup based things such as pho, BBH, or bun cha ca. If not, NOPE.. won't be coming back here. I think they overcharged us. I'll take a picture of my receipt to show ya'll later. On the menu, it states that an adult buffet on Tue/Wed/Fri is about $16. They give you a 10% discount if you have you have your student ID, military ID, or if you're a senior citizen. My cousin and her bf had their student ID and military ID and total we only got $1.60 taken off of our total bill -.- Was there even a point to getting a discount. We looked on our receipt and she only gave us discount for the military ID and not my cousin's student ID. IDK if she just didn't know what she was doing or if she was being stingy and only gave us one discount. Anyways, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FORREAL FORREAL. Bun bo hue (4/5) This one was probably the most flavorful thing on the menu. I actually ate two bowls of this because everything else was kinda meh. I'm not saying it was the best BBH I've had.. but it was the best thing at this place. I did add a spoonful or mam ruoc (shrimp paste) and sate (chili oil) to bring out the flavor. Bun cha ca (1/5) Probably the least amount of flavor out of all the soup based dishes. Mi Quang (4/5) The mi quang wasn't too bad. I actually think it had more flavor than other places that I've tried around the area. I do wish there was more meat in the bowl than they had given me. The flavor was all there and I didn't have to modify it at all. Maybe add some lime to it to balance out the sweetness that it had. Banh beo, banh nam and banh bot loc (3/5) These were pretty decent, but again I've had better. Didn't try the banh xeo but my cousin and her BF said that they liked it. I do like that they have choices that could knock out all of your cravings in one sitting though. I just don't know if I would ever come back. I would say that for a buffet, you do get your money's worth if you eat at least two of the noodle bowls.

Yelp
Maybe I shouldn't write a review on a holiday. We decided to go on NY day. Walked in super packed and the waiters looked exhausted! The girl who waited our table was super nice. Buffet line was a mess and felt unsanitary. The yellow noodles were good and was prob my favorite. Pho was kinda bland. Wish they had more option on the buffet line.

Yelp
I think this place is the only all you can eat style for Vietnamese food. It's a good price of $17 per person and with a limited selection. Overall, their broth for the Pho and their Mi Quang is pretty good. The Bun Bo Hue needs a little more flavoring as it's a little bland. But overall, what's keeping this place from being a 3 star for me is the banh xeo is really good. Very crispy and good portion and this place also has tapioca and banh beo. They could better their selection for dessert, but I look forward coming here again.

Yelp
A vietnamese buffet? What!!!!? The food is very authentic and delicious for what you pay for! 15$ ~ average a person. A variety of different noodle soup choices as well as appetizers! My favorite appetizer would be the mini egg rolls as well as the vietnamese crepes, "banh xeo!" SUPER DELICIOUS! The noodle soup portions are served small so that you are able to try more different foods! You definitely do not want to get full off of one bowl! My favorite noodle bowl would be the dry grilled beef noodle bowl! The beef was very tender and flavorful! I liked how the fish sauce wasn't made super spicy so it could be made for everyone! The three color dessert was the best to top everything off! Subtle sweetness and you can add how much ice you'd like. LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE THE DECOR HERE!! This restaurant looks super aesthetic and beautiful! It looks so open and bright! The patio seating also looks great to hang out with the family while enjoying a meal! The whole restaurant gives me a modern aesthetic kind of vibe! Looks fancy that I would even recommend dressed as semi-formal. There's even two entrances which is super convenient! Downside would be the short staff. When it gets busy, there would be a huge line to order the noodle soups. Other than that, if you are craving some authentic vietnamese foods and is in the mood of buffet style, this is your go-to place!

Yelp
I believe this is the first Da Nang cuisine buffet in Texas. Kim Son buffet in Bellaire served cuisine not specific to any region. DaNang Souphouse, funny name as I thought it simply specializes in soup only. Like: bun rieu, bun thit nuong, mi quang, banh bot loc, che dessert, fruity tea drinks. I love the small serving size because I like to sample everything. Dislike: lack of metal spoon to eat banh beo and clean chopstick, napkin dispenser style creates more waste, and the price - $23 plus tax+gratuity is a bit much especially for large family; ca kho and thit kho were just lukewarm, needs to be kept hot. I wished there was a lighter portion lunch buffet like the salad bar buffet at Fogo de Chao instead of full buffet for times when I am just craving something small and quick. My friend from Da Nang region said food is authentic to what she used to eat. Don't be scared by the 3.5 Yelp rating - Vietnamese people are very critical and usually write when they have criticism to give.

Yelp
Find a place with a worst customer service standards, you can't. This place wins all the awards of the worst establishment when it comes to customer service. They have a dozen people or more working there and not a single person wants to pick up the phone after several phone calls. Figured I never tried this place before so I went ahead and make the 40 minute drive and took two of my friends. I had called in at 7pm and their Facebook advertise they stop seating at 8pm and stop buffet at 9pm. They said they were open on their Facebook. I got there at 7:48pm and the doors were already locked. Only way I got in was waited for customers to leave. Several employees made eye contact but non even acknowledge me. I had to flag one down and asked if there were seating. They said that they have stop seating new customers. I told them that they should have at least picked up the phone. So my friends and I left and as I was leaving, I mumbled that I would leave a bad review. They probably heard it so they ran after me to tell me they can seat me. But some of the buffet menu items are out or low and will not be refilled. Now why on Earth would I pay full price for a less than full menu selection? Honestly, whoever runs this place is really bad at managing this establishment. Cool concept, wanted to support the Vietnamese community, but just really poor execution. They will run this place to the ground one day once they accumulate enough poor reviews.

Yelp
Vietnamese buffet is almost unheard of in the US and I'm amazed at what a fun experience this restaurant is. Not only is Vietnamese buffet very rare, but this place specifically focuses on Central VN dishes (hence the name "Da Nang" soup house). You pay up front when you enter, then you're seated. The price DOES include a beverage counter including Viet iced coffee (it's really good here!), peach tea, punch, water (no soda). There is a counter with Vietnamese noodle dishes such as pho, bun, mi. The selection captures an essential collection of popular noodle dishes, and the broths all taste different! You tell the person behind the counter which noodle dish you want, they assemble it for you to bring back to your table. Portion size is smaller than most Vietnamese American restaurants which makes it convenient to try multiple different noodle dishes or even to return for seconds. *Pho: This was the least stunning noodle selection but it wasn't terrible. The broth is light and "sort of" hits the spot. The noodles are very thin and the meat is skimpy. *Bun Rieu: Not bad but I've had better. This is a crab meat noodle soup with a seafood-y broth which was tasty. *Bun Bo Hue: This noodle dish is executed quite well here. Rich beefy flavor, fragrant spice, and you can add extra chili on the side if you wish. They don't include any pig trotters which is understandable given the price point. *Bun Mam Ruoc: Dry noodle salad dish (not soup!). They serve it with fermented shrimp paste in a little side dish cup which is very considerate because some people don't like a really strong flavor - but I used every drop of it! It's tangy, fragrant (some would call it pungent though), and authentic tasting. Beyond the noodle counter is a self serve counter with assorted family style or "com chi" type entrees (think caramelized fish, stir fried meat, chicken curry), small steamed items (think banh bot loc, banh beo), banh xeo, and a few desserts like che (all the che is really good here). For foodies who want to get a good taste of different Vietnamese dishes in small portions and get a feel for the flavor profile, Danang Souphouse is delicious and a delightful learning experience at the same time! I wish I could live closer to Dallas so I could eat here more often.

Yelp
Love this place. The restaurant is bright bright and clean!!! Bathrooms are clean as well. Love the fact that you could try a little bit of everything. There's different soups from different regions of Vietnam so it's nice to be able to taste everything. And no this is not like a Chinese buffet... They specialize in Vietnamese food and since they focus on a few select dish they do a really good job with it. It's good when a restaurant specializes in certain dishes rather than try to appeal to everyone. I would definitely highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Vietnamese ayce is a pretty interesting concept. I was a little skeptical at first but this place turned out to be pretty good! We came in on a weekday and so there were barely any customers which was good for us because we didn't have to wait for our soups to be made. Some notable favorites were the mi quang and pho. Noodles for mi quang were a little too soft. The food in the self serve area was also good. I especially liked the banh it and banh beo. The atmosphere was very inviting and bright. This place was very clean and service was prompt. I want to go back on a weekend for the banh bot loc! Worth a try!!

Yelp
I came here for dinner on Sunday night, my sister and I was super excited that they have My Quang, not a lot of restaurants have that on their menus around here! The restaurant was very beautiful and clean, but I don't know, the way they ran the place seemed very unorganized. We had one party in front of us, I think they sat theirselves because I didn't see anyone come and seat them so I asked my sister if we should do the same but she told there's a sign that says "Please Wait To Be Seated." So instead of waiting, my sister decided to ask a staff member since no one really acknowledge us as we walked in. So we went to go seat ourselves, but we had to remind them out getting us menus and it took about 15 minutes to get out orders :/. At this point, I was just kind of unsure about this recommended restaurant because the service was just very poor. Anyways, I ordered the My Quang, Banh Beo, Banh Bot Lot, and Passion Fruit Tea. My passion fruit tea was very good, not too sweet. However, I was a bit upset with my My Quang that came out, it took them 40 minutes to prepare it, but it came out cold. I didn't say anything because at that time I was already super hungry, and I just wanted to eat. The noodles were very soggy like, easy to break, like they maybe cooked it for too long. It's a small portion, but remember that it's only $5.00 so I think it's fair. While we waited, I was very appreciative that one of staff, the Vietnamese lady with the bigger iris effect contact lense came and brought us shrimp egg rolls. It took about 15 minutes for the Banh Beo and Banh Xeo to come out, and 20 minutes for the Banh Bot Lot. Some of the food we received were cold, some were hot, not sure why, but I would think that if it's going to take that long then my food should be freshly made and hot. The Banh Xeo was good and crispy, but Banh Beo and Banh Bot Lot we're very oily. Then towards the end, we also get brought two orders we didn't order and had the staff tell us "Oh I guess I just pay for it then since it's already been made." I am not sure if that comment was suppose to make me feel bad and just eat and pay for it because if I don't, then she'll have to pay, or what. Overall, I rated this restaurant a three because this was the first few days they have opened up and even though I didn't receive the best service, I am very happy with the service I received from the Vietnamese waitress, I am not sure of her name but she had big iris effect contact lenses. Not because she brought us free appetizers while we waited, but because she acknowledged us, and came to us knowing that we have been waiting forever. I think if they were a bit more organized they would excel because I did like the environment, and would like to come and try them out again maybe in a few months from now when they settle down because I felt like the staff weren't given enough training yet. This also seemed like it was more of a fun small snack item place than a restaurant because everything is very small sized portion, and you can't really order a bigger size as I saw from the menu. So if you order something, make sure you order an appetizer too!

Yelp
The restaurant is very nice and clean. Staffs are friendly and gave me excellent service (explaining the menu, cleaning the dirty utensils, refilling my water). The foods are pretty good. My Quang and Bun Cha Ca are better than from another restaurants in the area. I love Banh Beo and Banh Xeo too. More information about the menu: - There are 5 self-service dishes: egg roll, shrimp roll, spring roll, Banh Beo, and Banh Xeo (sorry for not translating because I love their original names lol) - There are another 5 made-to-order dishes: Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Bun Thit Nuong (Grilled Pork Vermicelli), My Quang, and Bun Cha Ca (these two dishes are must-try Danang food) - On the day I came there, they have fruit (strawberry, mango, watermelon, and cantaloupe) and Che dau for desert.

Yelp
If you decide to go, check the hours before you do, and allow yourself at least 2 hours before closing. We got there 40 minutes before closing and it was such a rush. Drink dispensers were empty and no refills. They also put a limit on the kitchen orders per round so you really won't have time to eat much. Self-serve areas also not refilled. Pricey buffet for average quality.

Yelp
The food was decent. A lot of different pho to try. My only gripe was the price. $25 person! A little steep for what the buffet had on it.

P Z.

Yelp
Cost $30 to eat there now, not worth it at all, hours of operation just not consistence, they close more days than open.

Yelp
So the concept here is a souphouse hence the name of the DaNang Souphouse. It is an all you can eat (AYCE) Vietnamese restaurant. The soups include Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Bun Cha Ca, Bun Thit Nuong, Mi Quang. There are appetizers which include eggrolls, shrimp rolls, banh beo, banh xeo, banh nam, xoi bap and for dessert, there is che (they only have one kind). The service is very good and the place is very clean. They do have a bar so order a cocktail! Overall, the food is okay and I would recommend you give them a try!

Thiem L.

Yelp
The price is now $25 + Tip. Food selection is pretty much the same, but the drink bar has now been cut to fewer selection. It also comes with a side of decaying decor. Also, there is now a 2 hour limit, but there is no sign indicated so in the restaurant. The waitress said you just have to know as she rudely shoo you out.

Yelp
My friend told me that he wanted to try this place out and I was really interested since it was the first AYCE Asian buffet that I have seen in Dallas for Viet food. This place serves various soups and Vietnamese delicacies which was what caught my eye in the first place, they have a wide range of soups and egg rolls, but that's probably the only plus that I have to say about the place. So I tried everything they had on the menu and everything except for the Pho was either very bland, dry, or cold. The pho was just about the only item that I actually liked which isn't saying much for a buffet. I think one of the issues is that they don't really keep the food hot making it not as enjoyable. Finally after the meal we went to go pay, and this in itself was a headache. Initially the cashier overcharged is by two people, and then after that was fixed she didn't give us the discount for being military or workers in the medical field. Overall, while the concept is great the food is still lacking quality, I wouldn't really recommend this place to friends and family and I am giving it two stars for effort.

Yelp
Beautiful decor and great ambiance. The price is good. it is a good concept and the food.may not be 100% authentic but it is good enough and definitely will be back and spread the words.

Yelp
First time we've been to a Buffett style Vietnamese restuarant. Pretty good concept. I love pho and the broth here is sufficient. Other than pho they have other soup options such as the fish cake noodle soup which I really enjoyed. They also have a couple other soup options we didn't get to try. Grill pork Vermicelli was pretty good and refreshing. They also have finger foods such as egg rolls, shrimp torpedo, banh xeo, and a few additional options. Afterwards, the have a couple dessert options. The service is really nice and friendly here. We had a really good dining experience.

Yelp
All the broth for soups were not hot, only warm. Glasses for the drinks were tiny, came in 2 sizes, 6 oz and 4 oz, had to make many trips to refill. Not worth $20 per person.

Yelp
We really love this restaurant. Bun bo Hue and mi quang are the best! Rice dumping is super delicious! Staffs are friendly! Omg this is what kind of Vietnamese restaurant I was looking for.

Yelp
Vietnamese food is so delicious and good customer service I definitely come back here to eat again

Yelp
I was excited finding a Vietnamese buffet since they aren't so common. It was definitely underwhelming. Some strong points: the decor, service, and cleanliness. This place looks amazing, and it's been well thought out. The staff is friendly and accommodating. However, the food took it back a few notches. It wasn't a problem with the selection as much as the execution. There are about 6-7 options for noodle soups and then some appetizers. I gotta say, everything seems to be a bit on the sweet side. Even dishes that aren't meant to be sweet still had that taste. I couldn't shake it. For $17/person, it's not that bad of a price. They also offer a 10% military, senior, and student discounts. I may give it another shot because I want them to succeed, but I'll be going in with some reservations.

Yelp
My mom was pretty excited about eating here since her Da Nang is her hometown. It was okay. However, the line gets very long to try to get the noodle bowls, especially since there's only one small station for everything. It also took forever for them to refill the Che (bean dessert). It was super busy- probably because we ate on a Sunday. As for the food, it was okay. Not great, but not bad either. I liked the egg rolls, and how crunchy the banh xeo was. I wondered why there weren't any spring rolls despite that they were on the menu. The noodle bowls were also okay. Although I haven't tried item numbered 6, my brother said it was good. I thought that the bean dessert was good as well. Also, I don't know why people are complaining about the workers being young and looking like they hate their jobs. It's really busy; I don't expect them to have a smile constantly stuck on their faces as they're working to put the food on the plates. This isn't the kind of place that we would eat at often, especially since the lines inside are so long. However, we might eat here again.
