Danbi Korean Restaurant

The veggie pancake was great, the meat jun was way too sweet though, the spicy noodle soup with tofu, beef and sausage was a must try!

My girlfriend and I agree that this is one of the best Korean restaurants in the South Bay. It’s no frills, family run and has a wide variety of options. Their jeon (Korean pancake) is quite possibly the best I’ve ever had - even better than ones in Korea! They’re thick, crispy and have tons of seafood inside. The spicy pork bulgogi has an amazing charcoal/smoky flavor that you don’t often get. If you’re looking for a place with lots of variety and a lowkey meal I highly recommend this place!

First time here! Got their beef soft tofu soup, soy glazed fried chicken, and beef short rib. Everything was fresh and seasoned well and made for an overall enjoyable experience! Looking forward to trying their other dishes next time.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!! went here craving some korean food and got some yummy, heart warming stew. i got the old style bulgogi and it was absolutely scrumptious. good size for the amount you pay for. there was a slight wait to get a seat (i went with a party of six around 7 on a saturday). there were only 3 staff running the whole place, so it took awhile to get our order. nonetheless, the staff was super friendly!! the atmosphere is great!! they played popular songs and the seats were cozy!! the lighting was nice too. overall, i DEFINITELY recommend!! 5/5 stars!!

Yummy food with very warm and welcoming service by the owner and the server. We went for dinner, ordered 4 dishes in total. My favorite dish is the meat Jung although it looks different from the image on the menu (The only wish for improvement for the meat king is having lettuce on the bottom just like the photo on the menu instead of cabbages so it look similar comparing to the one on the menu 😂) My second favorite is Old Style Bulgogi Beef soup with glass noodle, it’s so yummy with variety of vegetables (wish to be able to add more) and a relatively sweet taste! The servers always have a smile on their face and friendly reminded us if we want to order more before the kitchen close.

Great Korean place right outside of downtown San Jose! Love love love the stir fry here. The stone bowls, soups, and kimchi is good here as well. Bulgolgi is a little too sweet for my taste. They also have beers and other alcoholic beverages. Free street parking.

This place is soooo good! Been here 3 times now, and every item I’ve had has been absolutely delicious. Yesterday we got kimchi fried rice (delicious!), kimchi stew (amazing!), and potstickers (wonderful!). I would come here more often if I lived closer! Food comes out pretty quick and the portions are perfect. Side dishes taste very fresh - I really liked the fresh pickled cucumbers! The restaurant feels clean and there’s beautiful art on the walls.

Overall okay, food was tasty but too small for the price. Ordered the wings and got 8 for $20. Ambience is nice inside, though. Gonna try different places next time I'm in SJ
