Dandelion Communitea Cafe - Review - Thornton Park - Orlando - The Infatuation

"When you’re on vacation, or even just hosting someone who is, you always end up eating meals between meals, having a few extra drinks, and accepting that it’s okay to have dessert twice in one day. But after a few days of that, you’re going to need a reset. When that happens, go to Dandelion Communitea Café. The entire menu at this restaurant and tea house is vegan, gluten free, and healthier than anything you’ve eaten in the past week. Get a salad or tempeh bowl, and while eating here won’t counteract the donuts and pie you ate yesterday, you should feel a little better afterward." - Maddy Zollo Rusbosin

The design is the first thing that catches your attention, even from the street view, it looks welcoming. As soon I entered I was greeted. The have a great selection of breakfast and lunch (served all day). I went with lunch. Food is delicious, and I’ll be back very soon. This will probably be my new go to in Irvine.

Solid little cafe behind the Courtyard. Better prices than the restaurant in there and the food is fresh. The breakfast burrito has a whole variety of ingredients in it and it's well made, nothing sloppy here! I wish the door on the back opened to the street so you could find it easier but it's not too bad to walk around the fountain. I'll definitely be back each time I come out for my work trips!

Great to find a fresh, healthy, delicious breakfast option during my business trip at the courtyard next door. Service was fast and friendly and the space is beautiful. Update : this place was so good that I came three times in the three days I stayed at the airport and every time was just as delicious

My go to spot for breakfast & lunch! I have jumped around the menu and have never been disappointed. The service is phenomenal, the quality exceeds expectation, and the ambiance is 10/10.

The staff is really nice, but every time I come my food is inconsistent. They will run out of ingredients and not let you know when you’re ordering and proceed to make your food with whatever ingredients are available. I ordered a simple grilled cheese and they ran out of cheddar cheese and didn’t tell me and used white cheddar. The sandwhich came out with the cheese unmelted too. This has happened other times and I can never seem to get what I ordered and what is listed on the menu is not what you’ll get.

Art took care of my order and he was very friendly and helpful. I got the breakfast burrito and it was fantastic. Also tried the Feel Better tea and I could tell it was very high quality tea. Very good too. Nice little place to grab a quick breakfast/lunch, highly recommend!

Went here during lunchtime, It was really busy. I ordered an Asian chicken salad that took a bit which was ok, cause I came during rush hour. I got the salad and ate it, didn't think too much of it. Later that day I got the worst food poisoning, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, chills. They must of undercooked the chicken cause of the rush. Won't come here again.

Grill cheese was poorly made with little to no taste. Bread edges were hard and the only thing unique was a couple different kinds of cheese used. Free cookie was hard as a rock. Expensive but nothing to set it apart.
