Google
This was a pleasant surprise all around: the food was tasty, staff were kind, and the low-key atmosphere was clearly a local favorite! I order take out and sat on their patio. The turnaround was less than 15 min and it went by fast. Definitely check this spot out if you’re hiking or driving through the area.

Dandelions is a fabulous breakfast spot in Evergreen! I've stopped in a few times now, and the food is consistently fresh and outstanding. They are open from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, which is perfect for a late breakfast or early lunch. My personal favorites that I highly recommend are the Breakfast Burrito and the Chile Relleno—both were truly exceptional and packed with flavor. The service style is easy: grab a menu, order and pay at the bar, then find any open table to enjoy your meal. It's a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by for a great meal!

Google
Wow such a fantastic spot! So quiet and shaded on the patio, really relaxing. I had a burrito and the monkey bread and both were amazing! Hot upon delivery and served pretty quickly (but not too fast ya know?). The staff who helped me were super pleasant and friendly! Clean restrooms and dog-friendly patio. If I lived closer I would come here every weekend!!

Gluten free gal traveling with a dog! Great food and outdoor seating allowed my dog to eat with me. Order inside and staff bring your food out

Google
Such a cute cafe! Great place to eat. Their burritos were so filling and the owners are so nice! The banana bread also had perfect texture and taste that it was made fresh. Definitely stop by here!

Josh Z.

Google
Food here is fantastic! Great place for brunch. Hard to go wrong with anything on the menu, but the Breakfast Burrito, Avocado Toast, and Grilled Cheese with the Tomato Soup are my personal highlights. They just opened under new ownership, definitely recommend.

Christopher P.

Google
The food here was delicious and priced very affordable. I will definitely come back!

Google
Went here for breakfast with the family. Everyone was able to find something on the menu that they liked, including vegetarian options. I got the biscuits and gravy. I am from the south and was curious to see what they could do. The biscuits were nicely smothered with a very flavorful white gravy and the biscuits tasted fresh. Service was fast and attentive.

Yelp
Loved the breakfast. Had biscuits and gravy along with the sweet potato hash. Very flavorful and good food. Nice location with some outdoor seating.

Yelp
The cutest cafe with warm and friendly service! We sat at one of the few outside tables on a glorious Saturday morning around 9:30am. Saw plenty of cyclists, families, and dogs -- great location for people watching and easy parking! It took around 20 minutes to get two breakfast burritos with avocado and "drenched" in green chili. While it was massive in size and beautiful in presentation, the burrito was bland flavor wise, even with the sauce. Definitely could've benefitted from some spice. All in all, it was a good, filling breakfast and an awesome way to end a trip to Evergreen.

Yelp
Small space in a popular strip mall. The waitress was very friendly and the owner/chef, Nick, popped his head to it to say hello. We had THE MOST FLAVORFUL frittata I have ever tasted: sweet potato, kale, and feta cheese. It is a rotating menu, but if the quality is anywhere near what I had, you will leave satisfied. We took our meal to go and it was absolutely fantastic for the drive onwards to our hike!

Yelp
Cute little cafe off the main strip, nice patio. Had a breakfast burrito and avocado toast with two eggs. Order at the counter and sit. Was a perfect spot after a bike ride. Food maybe came out a little slow...but overall pretty good. Have breakfast menu and a bunch of sandwiches. Simple menu but it gets the job done!

Yelp
Shannon is a complete doll! She was lovely enough to bring my food upstairs too! I am a difficult consumer on food and she made everything perfect for me. Yelp
The environment here is nice, the self seating is a nice touch and the worker who helped us was super sweet. My biscuits and gravy and chocolate chip pancake were really good, however my husband's breakfast burrito looked amazing but had extremely little flavor despite being full of all kinds of ingredients. Overall it wasn't bad by any means but a little underwhelming.

Yelp
We spent the night in a cute AirBNB cabin in Evergreen and I was looking on Yelp and my fellow Yelpers did NOT disappoint! This little cafe is so amazingly delicious! While they are experiencing the low staffing issues as every business, the food is worth the wait!! My husband got their smothered breakfast burrito and the green chile was SPICY! It wasn't just heat hot but had delicious flavor. I had their bananas foster french toast and a bowl of New England Clam Chowder because I can never resist a NE Clam Chowder. Well, the french toast was so yummy!! It was perfect in every way and bananas foster is my favorite dessert, so I figured I would love this! The New England Clam Chowder is equally amazing! If you're ever in Evergreen, you need to try Dandelions Cafe!!

Yelp
Amazing food, great Gluten free options, friendly service, fair prices- this place checks all the boxes. We go frequently!

Yelp
Really great and unique food- very tasty! Excellent service! Sat outside on a beautiful Fall day and it was the perfect brunch!

Yelp
Vegan options at a fair price!! Delicious burrito. Service is excellent. Great atmosphere with sunshine on the patio! Will be back

Yelp
I was very pleased with my breakfast the staff was happy and took great care of us. They use real maple syrup their ingredients are fresh and high quality. Family owed and lots of love in the food and restaurant. Thanks for the great meal.

Yelp
If you're in the Evergreen area, this is a great stop for breakfast or lunch. I've now been a number of times for both and have sampled several items. the Biscuits and gravy I've had a couple times and they're good. Also tried the French toast (the espresso whipped butter that comes with it is wonderful), breakfast burrito (chorizo), Reuben and everything has been fresh and delicious! Most recently, I had their chili relleno which is not your typical deep fried version. It was fire roasted, filled with melted cheese and wrapped in an egg blanket. Just the right amount of spice and SO good! Love this little cafe!

Ronald N.

Yelp
Went for lunch today. Food and service were excellent. This place in under newish management and is much better than when we went a year or two ago. Worth the stop!

Allison H.

Yelp
We had a wonderful breakfast this morning! The food was very fresh and flavorful. We really enjoyed the green chile on the breakfast burrito and the cinnamon roll. The biscuits and gravy was also very good. We tried their homemade jam as well, and it was very good. A cute cafe with very friendly staff and owner. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
We came here afterwards hike and it hit the spot! FOOD + We had the French toast and omelette (special of the day on a Saturday). Both plates were delicious and filling. + The potatoes were especially delicious - would've loved to have more of those! LOCATION + Nearby other restaurants and in the middle of pretty mountains. They have an outdoor patio (you can't eat inside due to COVID). It's very nice to sit out there, especially since it's shaded. + Plenty of parking spaces SERVICE + Very friendly and accommodating! This is a great place if you're looking for yummy comfort food after a long morning of hiking.

Kerri H.

Yelp
The owner couldn't be nicer and the food is delicious. First time I've been able to order Biscuits & Gravy since I went GF 12 years ago. And they were fantastic! Great coffee from the business next door.
google avatar

Jim H.

Yelp
Wonderful food, plenty of non-meat options, cooked fresh to order. The staff is so friendly and helpful, clearly there to make your visit pleasant without making you feel like you've interrupted. I think that's my biggest impression with Dandelions Cafe: the food is great, the people are even better. I had the avocado toast with a side of breakfast potatoes and an iced coffee. It was perfect for the moment and not too filling.
google avatar

Dhyia T.

Yelp
This place is simply lovely. It's right near a park and trail with plenty of parking. The breakfast was delicious - like just what you needed after completing a morning hike. This place feels family owned and operated as all of the staff - a sweet gentle elderly woman who sat us, a younger lady who was super attentive as our waiter, and then a older gentleman closed us out. You won't go wrong if you make this a stop on your trip. Enjoy!

Nathan W.

Yelp
While staying in Evergreen for a couple of days we popped in for breakfast. The Gluten-free biscuits and gravy were out of this world! Service was fast and friendly, and the coffee was clean and crisp. I met Nick, the owner and head cook, who was kind and appreciative of our patronage. We will recommend this place and come back whenever we're close.
google avatar

Mara R.

Yelp
Wonderful corn chowder soup. Also the BLTA Sandwich was very good! Had to wait a bit but that is the way it is everywhere these days- lack of employees because no one wants to work! Very nice staff as well.
google avatar

Cheyenne R.

Yelp
This place is fantastic breakfast/brunch spot after a hike! The staff is hard-working and accommodating. My girlfriend and I both had the chicken salad sandwich and also the bacon and egg quiche. We both agreed that the chicken salad was some of the best we'd ever had. Their pineapple coleslaw was amazing as well. Will visit again and again.

Yelp
This is a fantastic place for breakfast, lunch or late lunch (they close at 4pm) Be warned that they are S L O W....so be prepared, but other than that this is the best food in evergreen by far. I used to live closer to downtown and eat at Wildflower which is good, but I moved up to north evergreen and started eating at Dandelions. It is amazing! Their breakfast buritos mothered is to die for! The fresh carved turkey sandwich at lunch makes my mouth water! Anything here is great and amazing....please remember that it takes time to get this great food...My wife ordered some Quiche's for the holidays and they were fantastic! Everyone just loved them, and we had them for days after and they were still great. Love this place!
google avatar

Barb N.

Yelp
My first time at this neighborhood place. Dandelions Cafe offers ample seating in a bright, sunny environment as well as some outdoor seating. My vegetarian burrito with the pork chili sauce was delish! The menu is limited but offers a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes that should satisfy nearly everyone.
google avatar

Lynette B.

Yelp
We brought out of town guests here and we all enjoyed it. My guests and I thought it was a gem of a place. Root beer and sandwiches made it for a lovely lunch!
google avatar

Paula Marie W.

Yelp
We were in town for a short time, and the hotel we stayed at had an inadequate breakfast for our hungry appetites. I looked online and the reviews were great. So we headed out for one if the best breakfasts I've had at a cafe. Our girls really enjoyed their sandwiches and the side potato salad and Cole slaw were amazing! My breakfast burrito was scrumptious. I'm so glad that I got the green chili sauce (I've forgotten the name) I asked for it on the side, but ended up putting it on top when I couldn't finish my meal - generous portions. I was very impressed with the owner's attention to every detail. He even had a protocol for using his restrooms. Most restaurants close them completely. But he is serving people, thereby taking care of all of their needs. I highly recommend this restaurant. Wish we could visit more often. But we live out east.
google avatar

Jerrica Z.

Yelp
We had such an incredible meal here. I had the veggie sandwich and my husband had the turkey club - it was just what we needed after a long hike. The service was excellent as well. Very friendly and they brought our pups water. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
New location is spacious, clean and bright with more inside seating and a patio with wicker tables. Menu is breakfast and lunch focused, egg sandwiches, burritos and pancakes, sandwiches salads and soups. 2 soup choices, a quiche choice and on this Saturday, an omelet bar. My egg sandwich was perfectly prepared-soft seeded kaiser bun brushed lightly with oil and grilled, with two fried eggs, crispy bacon, melty cheese and a set off in the most sublime manner with with light smear of mayo. I added a cup of spicy and flavorful pork green chili, well rounded flavor and a satisfying level of chili infused warmth. Food is five stars, better than I expected and certainly what is needed in evergreen for a non-wait alternative to the always jammed Wildflower. The service however, Would benefit from some process improvement. The ordering process is not clear, the full menu menu is not posted,And I waited at the counter not knowing what to do-- and finally asked the young lady working there if I could see a menu. She seemed a little bit detached and like the others working there, was involved in doing Multiple tasks including getting the drinks and set ups etc. There were three people working that I could see, one making omelettes, one cooking and prepping-- what was awkward is that he was also serving customers that were waiting at their tables. It might work better and be less chaotic if each worker had a task and they enlisted a food runner to bring food to the tables, get drinks, and keep things moving. Additionally, set ups were not brought when the food was brought, so the gentleman delivering the food had to run back inside to get them, adding to the disorganized vibe. The choppy service would not stop me from coming back, it is a casual place so it can be overlooked as a flaw. You walk up to the counter, you order and about 10 minutes later your food comes to your table. The food was solid, hot andand I hope that Dandelions in its new digs is here to stay!

Yelp
One of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten! The mushroom "Reuben" was phenomenal. I'm not sure what they used to give it that taste, but man was it good! The rye remained perfectly crisp, the mushrooms were perfectly chunky, the sauerkraut beefed it up and the dairy free Thousand Island added some creaminess. The Swiss was not missed at all although it does come with it. Personal preference to eliminate it. It came with a side of fresh pineapple coleslaw (not vegan). This is a really, really great sandwich!! Try it!! The kiddos had their famous thin crust pizzas. One plain, one mushroom with leftovers for both kiddos. I did have a taste some of their crust and it was pretty darn fantastic. Crispy, but light. And holding it's weight. If he could've made this without cheese I would've ordered one, but I'm kinda glad he couldn't because my sammy was perfection. See, things always work out the way they should. :) My daughter also ordered the soup d'jour, a Tuscan tomato and really enjoyed it as well. Cute little place. The mason jar glasses kind, which always gets me. A great stop after a day of hiking in the Rockies. The food takes a little while, but there's coloring books and puzzles for the kiddos while you wait. I never mind a wait if that means my food is being prepared fresh and with the upmost care. It's an open kitchen which I love. Farm to table too so if something isn't in season, you're no going to be able to get it. They have some local goods for sale also.

Yelp
Not bad...not great. It's a place that you walk up and order your food at the counter. We didn't know this at the time so we were waiting at the table for a while. There were 5 of us...ordered 2 tuna salad salads, 2 soups, junior pancakes, peach pancakes. Took 45 min for the food to come out and we never got the gluten free bread we asked for twice with the soup. One soup was like warm, the other burnt my tongue. Seemed exceptionally long time to wait for not a lot of cooking time needed for our food, and there was only one other table there. Food was very good, just not a lot of communication and very slow service. The staff was very nice, friendly, and apologetic about the forgotten bread.

M 1.

Yelp
Anyone GF needs to find this place. The owners are very conscious about being careful (with COVID) and the food prep. Gloves and masks worn, GF food made special. Lots of choices. Don't forget to order OJ and a smoothie.

Ray K.

Yelp
Really awesome staff - friendly and accommodating, and one of the best breakfast burritos I've had in Denver!!! If you're in town, highly recommend stopping by this gem! Don't forget the smoothie!

Maya B.

Yelp
My sisters and I stopped in here after a hike and the food is so good! I got the strawberry spinach salad, one got the chicken ceaser salad, and the other got the grilled cheese w tomato soup. They loved their food and my salad was delicious. I definitely recommend!!
google avatar

Daniel G.

Yelp
The palisades peach pancakes were amazing! We went again a few days later and had them again. Loved the bacon too. Good coffee.
google avatar

Brighton E.

Yelp
This is one of my family's favorite spots to go in Evergreen. The food is good and consistent. Everything we've had from breakfast to sandwiches has been great.
google avatar

Lisa F.

Yelp
I was amazed by the gluten- free selection!! Had my first pizza since going gluten-free and I would definitely suggest the artichoke delight!! The ginger mint limeade was amazing! I will be making special trips to Bergen park just to eat here, have never had such good service and amazing gluten- free options anywhere else! Just went up again today and had the best omelet I've ever had. And I was able to compliment my omelet and potatoes with gluten-free bread - it was sooooo good! My husband also had an omelet, an amazing latte and sourdough bread. It's all baked fresh at the restaurant and the food is cooked right in the visible kitchen. I love knowing that everything I get is fresh and cooked well! It's also family owned and run, so we always have a great time chatting with them while we enjoy our meal!

Yelp
Working in the area, search for a new place to try for lunch, found this nice little gem. Good sandwiches pleasant service, helpful on the phone, all good, thank you!
google avatar

Ann M.

Yelp
I ordered a Hearts of Palm salad. All the tables were dirty (cashier did mention it was right after the lunch rush, but to me it looked like there were 2 other servers not doing anything who could have cleared the tables). My salad came out pretty quickly for made to order. It was pretty darn good. A little expensive for the size of the salad. Not sure if I'll be back since it's a little out of my way for food. If i did I would with out a doubt get that salad again though. The place itself was tiny and quaint, but very nice inside. It looked like they had some cupcakes and baked goods but I didn't get them. (Salad and water cost around 12 bucks).

Yelp
Have wanted to stop in for some time now and finally did after spotting the Groupon. Came in around 2:30 and there were a few customers even at this late lunch hour. Service was great and fast and food was tasty. Had the Caprese sandwich and my friend had the Tuna and a side of the Tomato Basil soup. Sides were coleslaw with raisins - understand they have pineapple slaw but, this did not have any in it. This was not an issue though - still tasted great. Also had the poppy seed mac salad which was decent. My Caprese sandwich was very good - more flavor than you'd expect with added herbs. Next time I want to try the veggie Reuben. The Lavender Lemonade was the highlight for me though. So good I bought one to go on this warm spring day.
google avatar

Alison D.

Yelp
A family favorite! It's simple, straightforward food made with quality ingredients. For example, the turkey club is made with thick slices of turkey breast and good bacon -- so much better than a typical deli. With GF kids, I can't express how wonderful it is that they can order anything on the menu here! What a treat for them. I have been surprised a few times by slow service (usually it's timely), so I'm learning to call ahead if we are starving or short on time.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
Dandelions is a short walk from my office so it's quickly become a regular haunt. I've only been here for lunches and the food has always been quite good. I've tried a few of their sandwiches and they're great. My law partner likes the strawberry and chicken salad. As I write this I'm waiting for my first pizza (the "Spicy Chicken") from here. What I think I like most is that for a small, casual lunch spot they have an interesting menu. Several interesting sandwiches, various salad options, and an eclectic pizza menu. They seem to always have a tomato basil soup available, and it's quite savory. In the summertime, try the lavender lemonade! It's awesome! Dandelions takes their food seriously and they obviously take a lot of pride in what they do. It's a fabulous casual lunch spot in north Evergreen; definitely worth your dollar.
google avatar

Braden L.

Yelp
With a new location I expected the place would be revamped, which it is... although they have nicer aesthetics and decent service the food has gone downhill. After trying some selections of there lunch options I was disappointed with the lack of quality ingredients. Seems a bit sloppy with there presentation and tased average. I can't say anything about there breakfast menu. Their wait times went way down though!
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
This is my favorite place for Breakfast and Lunch in the Bergen Park Evergreen area! Best three meat omelette, and Reubens to die for. Best staff too. Just can't say enough about it. If you're looking for something to eat that's all home made, this is it! Support your locally owned business and eat here!

Kendra G.

Yelp
Great cafe! We had breakfast there and were all extremely happy with everything we ordered. Two of us ordered the special which was palasaide peach pancakes! The peaches were delicious and there were a lot of nice slices! The pancakes were hot and had little pieces of carmelized sugar throughout. They also had the perfect amount of real maple syrup. Our son ordered the sausage burrito smothered in green chili. He loved it! The green chili was spicy and full of great flavor! The coffee was fresh and delicious - bottomless cup! The service was great and we were greeted with a lovely smile! We highly recommend this cafe and can't wait to try more of their food!
google avatar

Danielle G.

Yelp
The food isn't necessarily consistent but I do love their scramble and the spaciousness. My son and I got on dates because he can color and play while we wait.
google avatar

Troy H.

Yelp
First time to the new location. Great experience, and great food. Outside eating area is perfect. My only comment would be that they need an espresso machine and some low carb dishes. Just meat and eggs
google avatar

Diane B.

Yelp
So not fair to judge a place by its former owners, but that's exactly what we'd been doing. The last time we'd been here was 2+ years ago, and sadly, it was godawful. But it's in my neighborhood. I past it every day. And I desperately needed breakfast today. So, the fates were in its favor. And, WOW!! Was it a fortuitous combination of events! I had a Sausage Breakfast burrito smothered in some of the most delicious green chili I've ever eaten! The burrito was loaded with chunks of pork, crispy shredded potatoes, fluffy scrambled eggs, & goat cheese (I swapped the cheddar out for goat). This deliciousness was made-to-order, and still only took about 6-7 minutes. The menu is small, but extensive, with eggs, salads, sandwiches... everything homemade on premises. The place is tiny, with 4 outdoor tables doubling the size If you're in Evergreen hiking, biking or at the Rec Center, be sure to stop by!

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. The breakfast is always hot, fresh and delicious. The fresh squeezed juices are amazing, too. Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Rob and Lisa Evergreen

Yelp
Stopped by for a late lunch after a long hike. The food and service was AWESOME. They even have gluten-free bread which was delicious.

Ellen B.

Yelp
This place has a fairly limited breakfast and lunch menu and you order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Friendly workers and my BLTA was delicious with a lot of bacon. My companion really enjoyed his quiche, too and commented how flaky the crust was.
