Dandy Hair Co. is the absolute BEST salon! From the seriously beautiful salon ambience to friendly gals, I always have the best experience. I've been seeing Cass for all my hair needs for the last 10+ years and have nothing but amazing things to say about her. She's a blonde expert and if you want bouncy layers - she's your girl!! She's also so sweet and fun, I always look forward to spending time in her chair.

I recently relocated back to Austin after years away and absolutely loved my salon in my last city. I was looking for a laid back luxury type vibe and Dandy popped up in my search. I was delighted to learn that they use the same line of colors that my last salon did and Cass (my chosen stylist), was able to use my formula to produce the exact results of my previous salon. She was also able to trim my hair up to make it look healthy and the shampoo and blowout were a dream. Looking forward to my next appointment with her!

I’m from the DFW area and was visiting Austin for a pre-birthday trip when I decided it was finally time to give my long dark brown hair the revival it desperately needed—and I’m so glad I found Sofia! I was already impressed by her work online, but meeting her in person was even better. From the start, Sofia made me feel so comfortable and truly took the time to understand my hair goals, while also considering my lifestyle and what would work best long-term. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, but also so warm and easy to talk to—I genuinely didn’t feel like I was sitting in a salon for hours because the time flew by! My cut and color came out beautifully, and I walked away feeling refreshed, confident, and beyond happy. Sofia has such a kind and thoughtful spirit, and it really shows in the care she puts into her work. I’ll definitely be making future trips to Austin just to see her!

Sofia did AMAZING on my hair! I got a balayage done by someone else at a different salon and was really unhappy with the blending but Sofia completely fixed it in one appointment. Sofia was extremely nice, helpful, and patient with me! She didn’t rush me while I was explaining my goals & my hair history. She listened really well and understood what I wanted and helped me understand maintenance and walked me through everything with really helpful explanations. She is amazing at her job, I have no complaints. I’m so proud of the way my hair turned out!! Could not recommend her services more! Before and after included.

Client of Sofia at Dandy for years now (followed my colorist from another salon). When I tell you I literally will fly or drive back because I cannot find the same quality in Dallas (even at pricier salons) I’m not kidding. I tried Lure in Dallas just for a cut or went to Salons and then saw how they were applying foils to other people and left. She is the best colorist hands down- we’ve gone dark blonde, to red, to all kinds of blonde shades. She’s always so patient and stays on top of her training (always learning new techniques/ certifications) ! She always respects hair care and will be honest with you about how blonde you can go in one appointment and has remained passionate about the quality of her service. The entire staff is so sweet- I wish I could remember everyone’s names!!! Love Cass Q as well! I see her work on her clients when I’m there and always look amazing (color and cut)! Definitely try this salon over the classic Austin faves. This gem of a boutique salon will not disappoint you. Also, love that instead of Oribe (love it - I do it smells so good no lie) that they use a product line called Virtue which has been a really nice change from that other line. TBH the Virtue shampoos and conditioners they sell perform better at a better price and they do also smell nice!! So I was happy I gave those a try. The hair mousse has a unique smell that fresh and finally made me want to switch. Ask for Sofia or Cass!

I cannot say enough good things about this salon!!! I started seeing Cass over a year ago. Since then my color has never looked better. It has had the brightest color, I always get compliments on it, and Cass is able to get it all done while being very time efficient. The vibes at the salon are great as well. It’s super cute and inviting. I feel like everyone there is my friend. I highly recommend Cass and Dandy and I am so happy I found them!!!

I love Dandy hair salon! It’s a female owned business, and all the girls there are so sweet and wonderful. I used to see Becky, and now I see Cass. Both ladies are amazing. I’m very particular about my hair, and they have always taken great care of me. I’ve recommended most of my friends here, and they have texted me thanking me for the recommendation. Cass is amazing! She brought my dull, fragile hair back to life. She turned me into a luxurious chocolate brunette, with healthy long hair. I am so grateful to her time and attention to detail on the journey to restore my stressed hair. She had great suggestions, always gets my cut and color perfect! I look forward to seeing Cass!
