Dang Boba, Poke & Banh Mi - Bloomington

I came here with a group and the review was a mix. However I am gonna talk just about my experience. I tried Poke ball and made my own. To start I was blown away with just the number of choices that was available. I personally think I did a pretty good job with my choices and ingredients. And I absolutely loved it. The boba is also pretty good here. So I would even recommend this spot for Boba tea. One thing I would want to share though is the Wasabi is super heated and hot here. Just a tiny dot of wasabi - it was enough to make me cry. Really good stuff !! Ambience is nice and service is reasonably quick.

I come here once in a while to get drinks or food. The drinks are pretty good, the only downside is that I feel like I'm not getting enough toppings and I have to order extra. The poke bowls here are decent. I was expecting the rice to be seasoned but it's no problem. You could obtain the same portion size and level of freshness here for a cheaper price at a grocery store. The service quality here needs improvement. The employees are not friendly. One time, I came in and I was not greeted. I waited a very long time and I was a bit hesitant to ask if she was going to serve me at all, just to find out later that she was working on a big order. It would've been nice if she had communicated about that with me. Overall, the drinks and service speed makes up for how mediocre the employees are. I will continue to return from time to time but I hope to see an upgrade in the service quality here.

So excited to have this place come to Bloomington! We saw their location in Peoria and haven't gotten a chance to try it. I loved the poke bowl, and the banh mi was delicious!! Also the crab rangoon was really unique - stuffed with filling!! I've never had milk tea before and I really enjoyed the taro one with brown sugar. The environment is nice and trendy. Edit: new favorite milk tea is the matcha with brown sugar boba!

We came by from out of town visiting family in Bloomington, IL. We heard that the Vietnamese coffee is amazing. We went there an order a few iced Vietnamese coffees. We were not disappointed at all. As an occasional coffee drinker, this is one of the best coffees I have ever tasted. I would definitely come back for some coffee. The staff seemed friendly too. Decent parking lot and the dining area seemed clean.

Our go to place, we always get make your own poke bowls and it’s amazing how much customization there is. The ordering process is quick and easy whether it’s at the counter in person or on their tablet. Somewhere we will never forget and always come back to.

Great new addition to the town. We've needed a bánh mì place for a while and the fact that they have excellent boba drinks is an added bonus. Menu isn't extensive but has just the right number of items. Tried the chicken bánh mì and a poke bowl and both were good. The baguette for the bánh mì was especially well made. The coconut milk tea with boba was excellent. Service wasn't the best, no welcome or smiles or thank yous, didn't feel very welcome. Great ambience and decor, and I really liked the various seating options.

Stopped in and got a strawberry banana smoothie and it is delicious! Wanted something healthier for breakfast and it was quick service. Definitely will be back to try the food

I recommend the Taro boba, Chocolate oreo, Ube delight, and the honeydew boba. I also got the teriyaki chicken but it was overcooked. A friend of mine got teriyaki shrimp and this was also overcooked. It was really good though. It's super clean, and I'm actually planning on eating there tomorrow. It's usually not busy, and is a great place to study. The egg rolls were DELICIOUS, so were the crab ragoons and the gyozas. The miso soup was mid, but I'm not a big fan of tofu, so that might just be me. 8/10 plac!!!!
