Google
I tried a few flavors and what I noticed was how strong their flavors are. The mint is very minty and the coffee is very strong. It is delicious ice cream that is dang good.

Rev S

Google
Awesome tropical flavors. Not overly sweet! Try the Durian, lychee and ube!

Tech Girl

Google
Ice cream was pretty good. Tried the Lychee, Vanilla, Durian, lemon cookie, and Coconut. Durian was very flavorful. Kids liked the other flavors minus the coconut. Servers were nice and let us try the flavors before buying.

The arrival of this ice cream shop to Los Angeles is nothing short of thrilling for fans of authentic and diverse Southeast Asian flavors. Let’s talk about their ube ice cream - an absolute delight! Its deep, velvety purple hue is the first thing that captures your attention, inviting you into an indulgent experience. With each creamy bite, the earthy, subtly nutty essence of ube shines, perfectly balanced with a gentle sweetness that lingers on your palate. The texture is decadently rich, smooth, and luxurious, making it a standout treat. But it doesn’t stop there! The shop offers an array of vibrant flavors that celebrate Southeast Asian culinary traditions, from the floral and refreshing lychee to the bold, caffeine-kissed Vietnamese coffee. Adventurous foodies can savor the polarizing allure of durian or the tropical tang of soursop. Every scoop here feels like a journey through the bustling streets and fragrant markets of Southeast Asia, encapsulated in ice-cold perfection. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in authentic, flavorful, and innovative desserts, this place is a must-visit.

Google
I recently visited this charming ice cream shop and was thoroughly impressed. The customer service was top-notch, with friendly staff eager to help. The flavors were unique and intriguing; the Uber Ube was fantastic, perfectly balancing the distinct taste of ube with just the right amount of sweetness, not overwhelming at all. The mango ice cream, on the other hand, tasted like a fresh-cut mango, capturing the essence of summer in every scoop. If you're looking for a refreshing treat, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Google
This is the best ice cream I’ve ever had! Once you taste it you will never go to another ice cream shop! This is outrageously good!

Google
Was working in the area? Craving ice cream Came by this place. They have a wide variety of different ice cream flavors and shakes. I had the pineapple coconut which was good. But they have black sesame, which I will have to try next time. Overall good place must try.

Google
Such great asian inspired flavors! The rootbeer float is also goat. Very small shop with about 2-3 tables. They also sell some of the popular flavors in pints!

Yelp
I stopped by this place 2x this past weekend! I would pass by here but never had the opportunity to try it out until now - and I am glad to stop by! By far one of my favorite ice cream places! Tons of unique flavors to try out! Friday, 08/15/25 with my boyfriend: - 1 single scoop cup of matcha = $5.25 - 1 cake cone ($0.75) of horchata = $6 TOTAL = $11.25 *********************** Saturday, 08/16/25 with my parents: -- 1 double scoop cup of soursop and non-dairy mango = $8 TOTAL = $8 My mom really liked the soursop! You can also sample out some flavors before purchasing. I tried the Vietnamese coffee ice cream which was very delicious - if you are a huge coffee person then this is your go-to! I also really liked the matcha flavor - very strong taste in a good way!

Yelp
Always passed by the place but never gave it a chance until a few days ago. The flavor menu here is crazy good. Tons of asian inspired flavors and they also over it in little pints. I got the kookie monster shake, it was pretty good. I also got a few samples to try out & the vietnamese coffee was fire. my friend got half durian half lychee & both flavors were amazing service was great, the 2 girls working were very nice. parking can get crazy here so just keep that in mind.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow, this place truly fits the name. I got the rootbeer float (I wasn't planning on it but when I saw it on the menu, I had to get it) my husband got the kookie monster shake (also another impulsive pick), my son got a chocolate scoop, my bestie got half durian, half lychee & her husband got the biscoff shake. We were all huge fans. Its a pretty small location, about 3 small tables inside so if its busy, I think you'd have to take it to-go or walk into Yes Plaza for one of the other tables. Parking can also be an issue on busy days. HOWEVER, service here was great - the 2 girls working were very nice. We also got a sample a few flavors and I can't wait to come back

Yelp
I often drive-by and always think I'm gonna stop there one day it's a little busy in that shopping center so sometimes it's a little hard to get into but we decided to go around 6:30 almost 7 PM and it was perfect. We were able to get in there quickly find a nice parking spot and the place was not busy With it being our first time we looked over the menu lots of unique flavors lots of things to choose from the gentleman behind the counter was super friendly and nice. The vibe in there is really cute and relaxing. I ordered a lychee tea, and we also got the Cookie Monster Cookie sandwich. My tea was so delicious perfectly sweet and refreshing! The Cookie Monster ice cream sandwich was delicious I'm so glad we finally stopped in. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
The logo is unassuming. The selection of flavors are unique. The ice cream was very good! Vietnamese coffee and black sesame flavors. Very, very good. Creamy, sticky, doesn't melt easy, flavors are not too strong, not too sweet. We got the 2 scoop, came with a little wafer on the side. My toddler likes it. You can also pay a little more and get an entire pint. There are a few seats inside to enjoy your ice cream. There is like 1 staff. If people ahead of you only order ice cream, that's great, if they order smoothie or boba, you'll have to wait! Parking is separate from Yes Plaza, so not too crazy. Next to the bank.

Yelp
Great pricing, big scoops & a variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. Been here twice and for my most recent visit, tried the pina colada and matcha green tea ice cream, both tasted as they sound and creamy! Service is quick and the shop is small but has a seating area.
google avatar

Yelp
Great unique flavored ice cream. I got the blueberry and a scoop of the dragon fruit. Delicious. Prices are a little but still fair.

Yelp
It was really dang good! We were craving dessert after Malatang dinner, and hubby wanted to try Dang Good Ice Cream. It's a cute little place, but they have many interesting and creative ice cream options. We were tempted to try their Dang Good Nachos. You can pick two of your favorite flavors and a sweet sauce for dipping, a crunchy topping, and they also have a few pieces of waffle cones for scooping! We chose the best sellers of Kookie Monster and Dang Good Durian flavors, and picked Oreo crumbs, mini marshmallows as toppings, with strawberry drizzle. The presentation was interesting and cool, and it was served on a tray. I could not eat the Durian flavor, but my hubby liked it. The Cookie Monster was delicious, and it made my tongue blue. I wanna try their Ube and Matcha green tea flavors next time.

Yelp
The name Dang Good Ice Cream definitely caught our attention and the ice cream lives up to it. They offer a variety of unique ice cream flavors, many of which I've never seen at other ice cream shops. What I really like is that they feature a lot of Asian-inspired flavors like durian, lychee, sesame, vietnamese coffee, and ube! Other than ice cream, they also have milkshakes, ice cream sandwiches, and teas on their menu but I usually prefer just a simple scoop of ice cream. The shop itself is pretty small, but there are a few tables where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream. The staff is super friendly and more than happy to offer samples of any flavor you'd like to try. I sampled the durian, ube, and honey lavender before going with a scoop of Kookie monster and ube! All their ice creams come with a wafer which pairs well with the ice cream. If you like cookies and cream, Kookie Monster is a good choice, but I liked the ube the most. It had a strong ube flavor and a bright purple color. I didn't get the durian, but one of my relatives did and it was really good if you're into durian. It was so creamy and tastes exactly like the fruit! Their ice cream is perfect for a hot day, and I would love to come back and try more.

Yelp
Came here on Tuesday around 4 PM, and there was no line. It wasn't that obvious to us, but you're able to sample the flavors there. We sure did and were so grateful because they had a variety of strong and unique flavors to choose from. We ended up getting the Ube and Vietnamese Coffee. Both were delicious, and the flavors definitely exceeded our expectations. There were some downsides, though. I didn't like how quickly the ice cream melted and how inconsistent the scoops were. It felt like the single scoop that everyone posted about was very similar to the double scoop we had, but just with a tad more and with two different flavors. Honestly, I think I would just get a pint next time since it's a better deal. Parking was easy when we went, but it can vary since it's in the same plaza as Banana Bay and is next to Starbucks. Several clean tables inside for those who wanted to sit and relax.

Yelp
I live in orange county and I haven't seen an ice cream spot with this many Asian flavored in my area. Must try the Durian ice cream. They have both Taro and Ube flavors. Quick service. A couple tables to sit at but there are tables outside too.
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
It was dang good I like the unique and cute flavors offered at this shop, even if I can't stand durian myself it was not bad! There's free tasting samples you can ask for. I ended up going with black sesame & added condensed milk on top. The staff added a wafer chip on it that had a perfect crisp! Solid taste & can't wait to try more. Place is a bit smaller than I expected from the outside & I wish there were a bit more seating, but the chairs and couches were cushioned, which I appreciate a lot for dessert spots.
google avatar

Rhea M.

Yelp
There isn't much good ice cream in the area so I'm glad Dang Good is here. If you love Afters, you'll also love this place. There's a good variety of flavors and you can sample them. I liked how the uber ube wasn't too sweet and my sister liked how her peaches flavor was sweetened with actual peaches. The workers are the front were helpful and quick. And there's a few small tables inside, but we opted to sit on a bench outside. That being said: if you're the type of person that likes Jenni's/Salt n Straw/Wanderlust/Sorry not Sorry, this isn't the place for you. Dang Good ice cream is leagues above cheaper chains, but I put it on par with Afters: good, but not great ice cream. In that sense, Dang Good ice cream lives up to its name. Strangely enough the thing that really stood out to me was free wafer that comes with the ice cream. It's crispy and flakey and while really sweet, has a warmness to it. I wish I ate it after the ube since it was much sweeter than the ice cream. Parking is easy during non peak hours. If you're in the area, check it out
google avatar

Meekaiel L.

Yelp
Very solid ice cream flavors! Love the variety of Asian flavors they offer. It's perfect for the summer! My favorite was the ube!
google avatar

Ariana M.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the black sesame ice cream I had from here! I loved the unique variety of flavors, especially the Asian flavors like the one I mentioned, plus taro, durian, and lychee! Can't go wrong with any flavor from this spot. They even have pints of all their flavors for sale!
google avatar

Melody C.

Yelp
I love that they have so many unique flavors! When I went, I wanted to sample almost their entire menu (maybe I will over multiple visits...). I like the texture and creaminess of most of their flavors. My only complaint is that I'm not sure if the taste is there for me. Everything I tried seemed a bit muted, but my partner loved everything and thought it was amazing. I wish there were more non-dairy options but maybe in the future some will get developed. I personally think some of the fruity flavors would be best as a sorbet, but that's just my preference. Service was kind and the interior feels clean. This is a small store with only 3 tables so you might need to take it to go or eat outside.
google avatar

Jagruti L.

Yelp
Review 17 of 2025 It was absolutely dang good! What a cool concept with so many unique ice cream flavors to try. They offer non-dairy ice cream as well. You can even have cream float or milkshake. If you enjoyed any of the ice cream, you can buy their ice cream pints to go. Customer service was great. Ambiance is cute and clean. They have few tables inside and a bench outside. Ordered: Peach Cobbler Lychee Love Overall, we enjoyed our treat.
google avatar

Kevin H.

Yelp
This is a really good speciality ice cream store. I am glad I stumbled upon it. I really enjoy the unique flavors that they have here. This is the only location that they have. They are more than willing to provide samples! Parking isn't too bad but can get busy because this business shares parking with other business in the plaza. The staff here is super nice as well. People bring their kids and families here! There is limited seating though. I would definitely try this place out
google avatar

Lynn B.

Yelp
If you are considering what to get for dessert.... Come to Dang good because it's soooooo DANG GOOD! They have such unique ice cream flavors and you can ask for samples. They now offer drinks!! Located in the same plaza as Banana Bay among other yummy establishments. It's located right by Starbucks. You can't miss it!! Free parking. Can be a bit tricky on the weekends Come to Dang good for friendly service and a delightful sweet treat!!
google avatar

Franchesca B.

Yelp
I had this place bookmarked for a while and finally got around to trying it out. The workers are certainly friendly and don't pressure you or make it a big deal to sample various flavors. They have a variety of American and Asian flavors catering to a wide arrange of palettes. Sampled Thai tea, lemon cookie, guava, and mint and ended up with a scoop of mint and asked for it in a cup with a waffle cone to top it. My husband ended with durian and guava. He reminisced how the durian tasted like something straight out of his childhood. Overall fun flavors, but could improve on texture and consistency. Additionally the overly bright and artificial colors threw me off for a bit, but I get it was a fun color to have on some ice creams. Final recommendation: try it if you are nearby but perhaps don't go out of your way to go here.
google avatar

Gloria L.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this ice cream spot! They're located next to the bank at the back end of the Yes Plaza so it's a little hidden. They allowed us to sample the flavors and they were all pretty good although on the sweeter side. I settled for the lychee flavor which had real lychee bits and wasn't overly sweet. The ice cream was pretty smooth and creamy! Overall I enjoyed this as a post meal sweet treat.
google avatar

Daniella P.

Yelp
A cute little ice cream shop in the Yes Plaza! They have such a large variety of flavors to choose from. I ended up going basic with dairy free chocolate on a cake cone. It tasted so delicious and I finished the whole thing!
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
Came to this place after dinner with a friend and wow there are so many different flavors! I went in wanting to try the black sesame ice cream but decided to get the honey lavender when I saw it. I can never pass up a lavender option and wow was it tasty! Not too sweet and you can really taste the lavender. There's a variety of flavors to try and other items besides ice cream. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area :) Service was quick and kind and the inside was nice and clean. There aren't too many seating indoors so this place may be best as a grab and go type stop. Ice cream also comes with a little wafer cracker thing which was nice :)

Joy G.

Yelp
OMG asian inspired ice cream flavors sign me up!!!! ube ice cream is so creamy and not too sweet, black sesame flavor is so nutty!, durian is so rich and creamy, and the Vietnamese coffee flavor is insta awake coffee rush!
google avatar

Regina L.

Yelp
I always like trying Asian inspired flavors so I was looking forward to Dang Good Ice Cream. I loved the variety of ice cream flavors (over 25+ flavors) and ultimately opted for a double scoop of Black Sesame and Vietnamese Coffee ($7.25). While I can't say it was the best ice cream I've had, I did enjoy the strong flavor profiles and felt it was a good portion size for the price. The shop is small but does have a few tables for indoor seating. Pints to go are also available for purchase. Overall, a solid dessert addition to the Rowland Heights/City of Industry area.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
The selection of ice cream flavors was great. There are many Asian fruit, exotic flavors. We tried the durian, lychee, and also honey lavender. All three didn't disappoint. We left feeling happy and satisfied. Will be back again for sure to try the Vietnamese coffee and Thai Tea.
google avatar

Terrence S.

Yelp
Tried several different flavors here including Vietnamese coffee and Ube, and both had strong natural flavors that I really enjoyed. The consistency wasn't my favorite, I think it could have been thicker and denser, but the flavors alone are enough to make me want to come back again soon. I'm not a fan of durian but that's their most popular flavor, and they sell by the pint as well. They allow samples prior to ordering so try away!

Priscilla N.

Yelp
Going to be a go to ice cream spot for me! I got the cookie butter ice cream and it was so rich and creamy! My boyfriend got a mint chip milk shake and he love it ! My only thing would be price to scoop ratio but ig you can't help that with how much expensive stuff is now.
google avatar

Annie N.

Yelp
I'm surprised this place isn't more talked about! Came here on a whim after positive reviews on Yelp and we've been hooked over since. I love bold, string flavors and thick creamy ice cream, thus checks all the boxes. The Asian flavors and ambiance aren't as sexy as Wanderlust, but they're on point. I would personally vouch for ube, Viet coffee, soursop, green tea, and durian! Only 2 small tables and no restrooms here, but clean and lots of parking!
google avatar

Nicholas H.

Yelp
Was out on vacation in California, and we stopped by this place, we heard it was amazing and about to hit the 1 year mark so we had to stop by, the customer service was great; the service was fast and they really cared. The ambiance was nice and it was nice to see the passion everyone had. The food (ice cream) was great I really enjoyed it. The boba wasn't good at all, I was highly disappointed. It didn't taste right at all
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
Small family owned ice cream with the best authentic Asian flavored ice cream. I went for vietnamese coffee while my bf went for durian. The durian is really strong flavor and the ice cream is soft and flavorful. Would highly recommend 10/10 Ps. They even have pints you can take home as well
google avatar

Rish C.

Yelp
This ice cream is to die for! Came in a little later and there were quite a few customers and only one worker but she was still very sweet and quick! Definitely coming back to try more flavors!!
google avatar

Marie P.

Yelp
A new ice cream spot in the yes plaza. Of course i had to try! So happy they opened an ice cream place here! The place was clean and very minimalistic. Many different flavors! Wasn't brave enough to try the durian flavor and opted for the Ube! It was good!! Love the rich purple color and flavor! Will definitely go back to try the durian flavor! Service was fine. 2 gentlemen serve my son and K and they were friendly and polite.
google avatar

Tammy L.

Yelp
They have a lot of unique flavors for their ice cream but some of the flavors (ube, lemon cookie, Cookie Monster, and taro) I tried were kinda light in taste a little bland. They also sell drinks here. The service was good. The store is kinda small so seats are limited. There's also a bench outside of the store.
google avatar

Mia A.

Yelp
Okaaaay. I stopped by to see if this local spot delivered. Sooo there's a reason why they're called "daaaaaaaang gooooood!" That's the first thing I said when I had my first lick of the Uber Ube ice cream..... made the face, nodded my head and everything. Packed with so much flavor, creamy and refreshing. It's a small Spot - not really good for big groups... more like get your ice cream and go! My son got the Cookie Monster and his friend got the Thai tea. The next time I go - I'll try the lychee lover ice cream! Can't wait! Join their rewards program if y'all going to be loyal! So happy they moved into the hood! It's located right by Starbucks and it's daaaang good. 5 stars for that real ube flavor. Must try!!! Go now.
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
Great Asian ice cream flavors. They have a variety of flavors. I only tried two flavors and opted for the honey avocado. It's sweet from the honey and a hint of avocado. The worker was very nice and let you try as much ice cream you would like. I wish I had tried a bit more. There's still some flavors I would try. There's are no tables inside only 2 long benches inside. If you love their ice cream, they sell pints to bring back. Would come back to try other flavors!
google avatar

Yelp
After a great visit at Frank and Sons, I always like to go around and discover new food places to try. Before coming to this place, I was aiming for Tiger Sugar but traffic held me back and a Quick Look on the right got my attention. It drew me in. I had the honey avocado and uber ube. It only took one taste and my mouth went out a journey to Waikiki to an ice cream place called Henry's. It's creamy, very gelatony (if that is even a word lol), and the flavor just screaming its simple elements of ingredients. It was delightful!!! Took home some pint of the two flavors. Can't wait to try the others next time. Friendly service. Bagged my ice cream twice for better insulation for my long drive home to Santa Barbara. There enough room inside to enjoy your treat. While you're there take a look at the pint sized ice cream of all kinds of exotic flavors. Plenty of parking and easy access.

Yelp
*** No cash accepted *** One of my foodie friends has been hooked on visiting ice cream shops with Asian-inspired flavors and this is one of ice cream shops that fit the category. The local small business ice cream shop was opened by the Dang family in May 2024 (https://wvnexus.org/features/dang-family-to-open-dang-good-ice-cream-scoop-shop-on-may-18-2024/). The shop is a part of newer extension of Yes Plaza and located between Jiou Chu Dumplings and Banana Bay. [Parking]: Extremely difficult to find parking spots within the main Yes Plaza, but later I realized there's an additional parking section right in front of the ice cream shop. [Service]: The staff was efficient and I was able to try 6 samples (Matcha Green Tea, Honey Lavender, Honey Avocado, Black Sesame, Vietnamese Coffee, etc.). No restroom for customers. [Flavors]: I asked the staff on the most popular flavors and the response I got was see the banner. The banners showed 8 flavors (with a heavy focus on Asian-inspired flavors) such as Dang Good Durian, Honey Avocado, Intensely Dark Chocolate, Kookie Cookie Monster, Sumptuous Strawberry, Vietnamese Coffee, Uber Ube (Purple Yam), and Luscious Lychee. Other interesting flavors I spotted include Brown Sugar Boba, Refreshing Coconut, Hibiscus Dragon Fruit, Guava Glissade, Black Sesame, Tai Chi Thai Tea, etc. [Prices]: Single scoop for $4.75 (one flavor only - unable to split and get two flavors), double scoops for $6.75, and pint for $10.00. Cup = free, sugar cone & cake cone = $0.50, waffle cone = $1.00, and toppings = $0.50 each. Sorry no kid scoop here. [Loyalty Rewards]: One star = single scoop and two stars = two scoops. 15 stars = free single scoop + one topping and 25 stars = free double scoop + one topping. Earn double stars on scoops on Monday to Wednesday from 1 PM to 6 PM. Scan QR code on the sign to sign up & get 20% off. *** Honey Lavender (single scoop - $4.75): After trying out 6 samples I ended up the good old honey lavender. Most of Asian inspired flavors tasted alright and I did notice my ice cream melt pretty easily. Honey lavender tasted decent, but it certainly lacked the 'wow' factor. *** If Salt & Straw is the gold standard, then Dang Good Ice Cream isn't quite there yet. However I do think some of their Asian-inspired flavors are fairly unique and will draw certain niche customers who are willing to try them out.

Yelp
Love the wide variety of flavors here- especially the cherry chocolate chunk! Serving size is generous for the price as well. Peter was super patient, attentive and helpful with our purchases. Can't wait to be back to buy a few more pints of their unique flavored ice cream!
google avatar

Darlene K.

Yelp
Stopped by after some noodles down the street. This plaza has changed so much since we used to hang out here 20 years ago. Banana bay and BCD are still around, but there are so many restaurants that have varying degrees of busy-ness. It's very clean in the store. They had samples of everything. Service was good and quick. I also loved that they had pints of ice creams in the freezer so you can get your favorites to stash at home. Durian for the win! The lychee has hints of rose flavor and chunks of lychee fruit! Ube is so classically delicious.
google avatar

Mina C.

Yelp
I love it here! I tried the durian, lavender and lychee flavors and each was very tasty! If you like durian please do come and try it, very durian!
google avatar

Vanna T.

Yelp
Stopped by for National Ice Cream Day. It wasn't too busy when we arrived, but more people came in later. It was a perfect day to get ice cream since it's so hot outside. They're located in the same plaza as Banana Bay, Starbucks, Tastea, etc. Plenty of parking available. There are so many yummy flavors to choose from. I got the black sesame and ube two scoops in a cup. My friend got the kooky monster single scoop also in a cup. There's no charge for the cups, but extra charges for the cones and toppings. Both ice cream were delicious and satisfying. They even sell the pints version. Quick and friendly service. Definitely coming back for their other flavors.
google avatar

Yelp
PRO-TIP: They're giving away cute ice cream headband for their grand opening! Super cute accessory that went great with a maid cafe event my friend and I attended the day after. If you need to, you can sample the flavors before committing to a choice. They have 3 different cone options or you can opt for the cup, they have a new ice cream nachos for $10 that comes with waffle cone "chips", toppings, and different scoops of ice cream, different toppings, and for $10, you can get a pint of your favorite flavor of ice cream. They have the tried and true classic flavors strawberry, choco, vanilla, and much more, as well as fancier Asian inspired flavors such as soursop, ube, taro, durian, and other fresh fruity flavors like guava, dragonfruit, etc. I got the guava and soursop, I enjoyed both and so did my dad. My mom said it was too sour, but she was the only one with this complaint. They have a loyalty point system you can sign up with your phone number in shop. Can't wait to come back to try more flavors!
google avatar

Lissa L.

Yelp
They have unique flavors like durian and sticky rice mango. Bought a few pints and despite the cold, we fully intend to try them out later. Service was efficient and friendly. The shop was pristine and welcoming. We'll be back to try the other stuff in-store. But so far, we found everything impressive!

Yelp
The moment I saw someone posting about durian ice cream, I knew I had to come here. It's located in the Yes Plaza, next to Starbucks and First Bank. The interior is small and not exactly the type of place to hang out. It's more of a grab-and-go spot, but they do have 2 benches for you to sit on. + Durian ice cream: Mmm, durian. The taste is very distinctive with a bold flavor. If you love durian, this is it for you. Sorry to those who find it unpleasant, but don't worry the smell isn't as strong as the fruit. It wouldn't be so bad if someone in your group got it. + Lychee ice cream: This was pink. I don't know why, but I was expecting it to be white or sort of clear. Anyway, I love that it had bits of lychee in it, but the flavor wasn't as pronounced as I would like. They also sell it in pints, so you can bring it home and enjoy it while watching your favorite show/movie.
google avatar

Alyssa L.

Yelp
Durian ice cream was good but we sampled some of the other ice creams and it honestly tastes pretty artificial. Nice addition to the plaza but probably wouldn't purposefully go back for it.
google avatar

Sydney C.

Yelp
The taste of the ice cream is just all right, the service wasn't bad but the place was a little crowded ruining the ambiance a little. I might've just had high expectations but the ice cream isn't anything special. I got the durian, Cookie Monster, and mint chip. The durian was okay and so was the Cookie Monster, the mint chip I would say is the best of the three. The place isn't bad but it's not anything really splendid for me to give higher then a 3

Yelp
Our favorite ice cream in the area! They have so many great refreshing summer flavors. The employee was kind enough to let us try the black sesame, soursop, lychee, and coconut, and it was so hard to decide!

Yelp
A Dang Good Ice Cream grand opening inside Yes Plaza at Rowland Heights. The ice cream shop is clean, new, and modern. It offers samples to customers to try. Kids may like lychee or some exotic fruit flavors. Durian is definitely acquired taste. I ordered soursop without tasting the sample. It is kind of like hint of lychee with ice cream. This chain specializes in flavors and good taste but it's not as soft or creamy as some competitors. It does have certain special flavor ice creams.
