Dang Tea

Great bubble tea, and it’s nice that it’s on Pearl Street! I think the size for the price was decent, considering how expensive everything is nowadays. I will definitely be going again. I got the Thai tea milk tea with boba at 25% sweetness, and it was exactly what I wanted. The boba was nice and chewy, and it had just the right amount of sweetness for me!

10/10. Only boba place that was open till 9 pm today in boulder. The worker who was there made my day, he was so nice so thank you <3 good service, positive vibes :)

I loved the variety of flavors and topping/boba options. I got the iced hojicha latte with brown sugar boba and it was delicious! The owner was so friendly. The great customer service + the tasty drink makes it a must stop, especially if it’s a hot summer day like it was today!

I finally discovered good bubble milk tea in Boulder. Dang Tea is on par with the quality found in more ethnically diverse cities such as SF, Seattle, and Honolulu. I’ve frequented this place too often and have spent too much money recently. I passed on my findings with several other well-traveled friends, and they came to the same conclusion. The shop is quaint, and their menu is highly customizable. I usually get a light iced brown sugar bubble milk black tea with flan. With a friendly demeanor and smile as if to recognize me as a friend, Thai has made and served me personally a few times. When I have another Dang craving (pun intended), I’ll be sure to see you again.

I ordered a hojicha latte and the girl behind the register entered it as a horchata latte. I corrected her and she told me that the owner had spelled it wrong so it was entered as horchata. I believed her, and lo and behold I received a horchata latte instead of a hojicha one. I’m usually not one to complain, but I literally corrected her and she still got it wrong.

Seems like it’s often quiet in this little tea shop but the tea is really good and the employees are friendly! I had the mango slush with boba. Come give this new ish business a try!

drinks are okay, boba over cooked, one of the drinks was 80% ice and i did not ask for extra ice. You also can not substitute any toppings, they charge you extra for the topping you want and still pay for the topping you don't want even if they don't include it.

We love this place! The flavors are amazing and the service is awesome. Definitely a great stop if you’re out walking Pearl Street, so refreshing! Try the crystal bobas, it’s crunchy and full of flavor 🧋

This is a new boba shop on Pearl. There are not too many in Boulder so a new one is nice. It is still in the soft opening stage in the snow of winter. They are apparently planning a grand opening when summer arrives. I had seen it when eating on the west end of Pearl, just east of the new expanded Hapa sushi that took over the space of two that closed in the pandemic. This space is part of one that closed. I looked through the menu and found a fruit tea that has no caffeine, a choice I medically need. It is winter melon and it seems good for today, snow on the ground but not cold or windy. I ordered it with boba and they were so fresh and soft. Perfect. When I asked for it at a lower sweetness that was on the wall poster, the staff member informed me they actually do not have control of this other than diluting it. So that is what I had her do. It still tasted great and not too sweet but it does dilute it some. Other shops apparently use a separate sweetening syrup rather a premixed solution. As another Yelp review mentioned, it is very small inside with one wall with a bench to sit for a short time. It's actually quite pretty though and the staff efficient and friendly. I am giving it a 5 because only the sweetness was a small issue but it's really a 4.5 until they expand options. So glad to have them on Pearl in such a popular block. Though it is only Winter Melon that cannot be altered this way. Other teas can be easily customized.

I was happy to discover Dang Tea's new location on Pearl Street in Boulder, CO! This Asian-owned bubble tea shop first started in Montbello (north of Aurora) and has now expanded to Boulder for their second location--a much-needed and welcome addition to the city. The shop is small, with just a bench for seating, making it perfect for grabbing a bubble tea to go. After 1.5 years of navigating permitting and construction, they finally opened in late August 2024. They offer a wide selection of bubble tea drinks--classic milk teas, flavored teas, slushes, and specialty teas--with plenty of toppings to customize your drink. It's a great find on Pearl Street to grab a bubble tea and walk around. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011, and back then, we only had one bubble tea shop in the city (Lollicup on the Hill). As an international student, I always wished there were more options. Fast forward 13 years, and now bubble tea shops are all over Colorado! I love to see it.

This is my 22 yr old daughter's favorite boba tea in Boulder. She says the bobas themselves are the very best. I agree they are quite good. She loves the oolong with boba. I love the brown sugar tea with flan and boba. It's amazing! And the servers are friendly and always make the experience pleasant.

Dang Tea has been opened for the past month right across from my office on Pearl but I had not even noticed. I walked by yesterday and finally noticed so went in to order me a black milk tea with no boba. The person who took my order was nice and chatted me up about the day. (she was probably bored ;) The milk tea was done well with just the right level of sweet. I was also happy with the price as they did not try to charge you an extra $ 2 for being on Pearl Street! I will be going back!
