Google
The dumplings are AMAZING! I’ve wanted to try this place for a while, but have a highly skeptical Korean husband who has been disappointed many times by dumplings (mandoo) in Chicago. I was using the momentum from our recent return from Italy, where we of course found Asian restaurants for lunch to balance all that lovely Italian food, and had access to an incredible Szechuan restaurant that made perfect pan fried handmade dumplings. So, I talked him into trying this place, and we are so happy we did. The shrimp, pork, and Chinese chive pan fried dumplings (gu mandoo) had perfectly crispy lattice, translucent skin/wrappers, and deliciously juicy filling. Dipped in a combo of soy sauce and chili sauce made the flavors pop. You must try them!! They came with a small side of shredded potatoes, which were even better when you added some chili sauce. We will definitely be back. Best dumplings/mandoo we have found in Chicago’s northern burbs.

I haven’t been here in a little while, but there was a time when my wife and I used to come here a couple of times a month. This is easily one of my favorite spots for dumplings, and I still crave it. Our go-to order was always the beef and onion dumplings, pan-seared (worth the extra $1 every time). The onion adds so much flavor, and the pan-seared style is just perfect — crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. We’ve never even tried the boiled version because the pan-seared is just that good. My wife did try the shrimp, pork, and Chinese chives once, which was good, but we always came back to beef and onion. I’ve ordered carry-out from here as well, and it holds up really well. The dumplings are still juicy and delicious, which isn’t always easy to pull off with takeout. The space itself is small and simple — nothing fancy — just a few tables with napkins and soy sauce. One detail I really appreciate is their chopstick system, where clean chopsticks come out of a machine, which is a nice touch and shows attention to cleanliness. They also do a good job communicating with customers. You can sign up for text updates, which is helpful since Google hours aren’t always accurate. They’ll let you know if they’re closed or running promotions, which I appreciate. I don’t live close anymore, but whenever I’m in the area, this is one of the first places I think about. If you love dumplings, this place is absolutely worth going out of your way for.

Google
Pure dumpling restaurant! Wow, who knew a plate of a dozen dumplings could fill you up so much. With many dumpling options you can choose between the fillings of: chicken, pork, shrimp, or corn (vegan). I would recommend the chicken and to go steamed! Unless you like fried dumplings, I thought the steamed ones tasted very yummy!

Where should I start? Im the type who’s too lazy to write reviews unless it’s real good or super bad. This place falls into my real good list! I’m a Chinese girl who came to the US since 2012. This restaurant is the BEST dumpling place of ALL TIME throughout my years here. Even made me home sick a bit. It’s clean, bright and great atmosphere. The best part is you can sit by the clear glass window to witness how the magic happens. My husband and I ordered combo 3 and 5 of the boiled ones with steamed broccoli. The food is freshly made after we paid, like literally newly wrapped and cooked. Don’t take this wrong, it takes only like 10 mins. We both loved our choice way too much to not think about going back every single day after. So we ordered 4 of the frozen packages for take out 10 days after and enjoyed it last night from our own place. I also already added getting dumpling from here to my weekly dinner list. If you love Chinese dumplings, this is definitely the place to go. Authentic of all time and best in Chicago land no doubt! 100/10! Highly recommended!

Google
Amazing food! The dumplings are freshly made to order, and they serve tea and other appetizers along with the main course. I personally love the beef/onion dumplings. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Google
Dangela's Dumplings in Libertyville is a lovely spot for dumpling lovers and alike. Their handmade dumplings, crafted in-house and visible through the viewing window, are worth the visit. The juicy soup dumplings are a highlight, bursting with flavor. The dipping sauces are spot on - their soy sauce and spicy sauce pair impeccably with the dumplings. The tea-boiled eggs we ordered were surprisingly good too, adding to the overall delight. Service-wise, the staff are attentive and friendly.

Google
I’ve been here many times. I love it for excellent dumplings and conversation with friends and family, and for excellent dumplings by myself when I want to listen to my audiobook or sit down with my computer to get some work done. People are super nice. At peak times there may be a wait because the dumplings are made to order and they get busy, but it’s very worth it. If you like eggs, their tea eggs are great!

Google
BOBA TEA! 🧋 BLACK! So yummy and fresh! Definitely 10/10 Reco! I just had lunch so sadly didn’t get to try the dumplings today but will be back!

Yelp
This is the best restaurant in Libertyville if you have any taste at all. They are consistent, cost effective, and most importantly yummy.

Yelp
Great little place. Yummy fresh dumplings. We really enjoyed our lunch. This is more of a fast food type place. Very clean and bright. Fast service. You can watch the kitchen at work, cooking. We found the dumplings to be hot and fresh...large portions. The side salads are great. I don't like beets but their beet salad was crunchy and great. The tea eggs were nice. Really enjoyed our meal. We will be back! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Tried the shrimp & pork with chive dumplings (steamed) and a side of broccoli, plus grabbed the beef & onion pan-fried dumplings to go -- *both* were insanely good! I honestly can't pick a favorite. They give you soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil so you can mix your own dipping sauce -- I liked being able to make my "perfect combo." The staff was super friendly, and it's so cool watching them make fresh dumplings right through the kitchen window! The place has such a bright, happy vibe, and there's tons of parking in the shared lot. 10/10 would go back again (and again)!

Yelp
I really love to eat here, but there is nothing here my husband can eat. So I send him off to another nearby restaurant while I eat dumplings. The dumplings are worth the extra wait for them to pan fry them. Very plain and pleasant dining room that fits well with the simplicity of the dumplings. Everyone there is very pleasant and helpful.

Yelp
I was so curious about Dangela's Dumplings after driving by the restaurant. We were in the area again so we placed an order for carryout. These are made from scratch so they told us it would be about 25 minutes. You can have them boiled or pan fried ($1extra). We ordered the shrimp, pork and chive dumplings and the chicken and mushroom dumplings. They come 15 to an order, which is more than enough. I arrived after 25 minutes but still had to wait another 10 minutes. The dumplings smelled wonderful and made us quite hungry during our 20 minute drive home. The dumplings were still warm and the shrimp ones were like soup dumplings with a lot of liquid. We had ordered them fried so they were a little chewy. Next time I would eat them at the restaurant and order them boiled. The flavors were quite tasty although the dough was a little thick. Definitely one order was enough to share. My car still smells like dumplings.

Yelp
New to the area. Pan seared and steamed dumplings are both so good. This will easily become one of my regular spots for comfort food. Staff very nice and pleasant.

Yelp
I just walked out of here after eating here for the first time. It was so good I couldn't wait to leave a review. What a gem. Super casual, absolutely no frills place with only a few tables. But the food...the food is SO outstanding. Delicious- and you can taste how fresh the dumplings are. I will definitely return!!
google avatar

Rick R.

Yelp
Fast casual place. View the menus on the wall above the counters and order and pay at counter. They will call your table number to pick up your order when ready. I think I waited 10 minutes, and there was only one customer at that time. They make everything from scratch and made to order, so I have no problem with waiting for food this fresh and delicious! I ordered pan-seared (boiled is other option) Shrimp, pork, and chive dumplings. They were served hot and juicy so be careful when you bite into one because the hot juices will splatter. They offer forks and chop sticks and there is soy sauce, black vinegar, and spicy chili paste on the tables, but the dumplings are great as is! I mixed the black vinegar and spicy paste for a unique flavor that I enjoyed. The side of shredded potatoes and carrots is served cold, and I really liked the flavor, texture, and the cooler temp to offset the hot (temperature) dumplings. Great place and I recommend for scratch made dumplings!

Yelp
I'm happy we finally tried Dangela's Dumplings out. Located just south of downtown Libertyville on Milwaukee Ave., this place is within easy biking distance. We were greeted right away and asked if we wanted a walk-through of the menu. We accepted and were given various combo options. I tried the steamed shrimp, pork, and Chinese chives dumplings with the beet salad side. My companion chose the pan-fried beef and onion dumplings with the shredded potato side. Aldi, the Citron tea is super refreshing and light. Why didn't we come sooner??? Everything was delicious, fresh, and nicely seasoned. There is a decent amount of seating including counter stools that have a window into the kitchen. We had a really nice chat with one of the owners and are glad we came to a local business owned by a fellow Libertyvillian. Next time, we'll definitely get some of the frozen dumplings (when we aren't on bikes and/or have a bag with us).

Yelp
We were in the area and found Dangela's Dumplings on Yelp so decided to try it out. We ordered up front and then seated ourselves in the restaurant. It seemed like they were short staffed or something since it took awhile for our food to come out. We ordered the boiled pork and celery dumplings, boiled beef and onion dumplings, and tea boiled eggs to share. The dumplings were okay but pretty bland and a little overcooked. Hubby ordered a milk tea but it was pretty dilute in tea flavor. Not sure if we just came on a bad day but we weren't feeling it during this visit.

Yelp
Authenticity! Chinese chives, tea boiled eggs and preparation by the owner! The dumplings are made by hand and boiled or pan seared. How do I know? I'm at the bar watching the prep. It did not disappoint. Thank you!!!

Yelp
We were craving some dumplings so we decided to stop on by. We placed our order for pick up. My bf and I have never been here so we decided to do the build your own dumpling orders. My bf ordered the chicken and mushroom dumplings with a side order of shredded potatoes. I ordered the shrimp, pork and chinese chives dumplings with a side order of veggies. It took around 20 minutes for them to prepare which wasn't bad. When you enter the restaurant, it's quite small but enough to dine in. We were greeted warmly by the cashier who had our order ready to go. We got our order and we're quickly on our way. With each order of dumplings, you get 15 pieces of dumplings and I forgot to say that you could either get them boiled or pan fried. My bf and I got our pan fried. If you chose pan fried, it's a dollar extra. We got pan fried (which is definitely the way to go). Anyways, my bf raved about his dumplings. He was hesitant to get the mushroom and the chicken dumplings initially but he loved them. I loved my dumplings as well. They were succulent, tender and juicy. We got red chili pepper oil and soy sauce and with each dip, it helped to enhance the dumplings yummy flavors. Neither my bf or I were impressed regarding the sides. My bf thought the shredded potatoes would be warm but they were luke warm and not enjoyable. Additionally, with the small amount you received, you might as well not get a side at all. I felt the same way when it came to my veggies. Luke warm and I didn't really care for them. Neither of the sides added something spectacular to the dumplings anyways. Overall, the price was reasonable but would suggest to go for just the dumplings and not the sides. I didn't try any of the boba or teas and it's kinda hard considering that there is a Kung Fu tea right across the street and I'm a Kung Fu tea loyalist. Overall, will keep this place in my rolodex of yumminess if you have a craving for dumplings.

Yelp
This is truly an amazing place and the food is top quality. You can see them make the dumplings by hand and everything is absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try this again!

Yelp
Came here to this cafe in Libertyville for the first time looking to get dumplings. D'Angela's Dumplings certainly has these, but the selection is also limited. It only has meat proteins such as beef and chicken, so none that are vegetarian. Even so, there's a few vegetables for sides. The sides were actually pretty good, so I wasn't that mad at them. A pretty small place that was hard to get to at first. It has the one side facing the main street, but you can't get in. The entrance is actually around the back by the parking lot. Inside it looks pretty corporate. You would think it was a chain if you didn't know about it. Has the dumplings as well as some other things to get. The Beet Salad and the Edamame are good sides. It's about $3 to get a good amount of each. The beets were pickled and tart. A pretty good cold salad for when it gets hot. The edamame was also lightly seasoned without being real salty. Good place for getting fast dumplings. It has a fast casual set up so it looks like it may not be that good, but it was better than expected. The only thing is the dumplings are meaty with beef or chicken, so get some sides if there's vegetarians.

Yelp
I was there a few months ago and it's the first place I think about when I want to go out. Great food! I even tried a beverage and it was delicious as well. Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Very friendly environment, clean. You get a lot for your money and the dumplings are delicious. I wish they were closer to me because I'd probably be there every day.

Yelp
Located in downtown on Milwaukee avenue on the corner of a plaza. If you blink and aren't looking for it while driving you might just miss it. Bringing a taste of traditional Chinese dumplings right to the backyard of Libertyville. Whether you're ordering your dumplings steamed or deep fried, you are able to curate your own combos with the different flavors that they have. They prepare the dumplings fresh for you so it sometimes does the patience but when it's fresh, it's delicious! The combos include 15 dumplings and a side dish. You can also grab some milk tea or honey teas to complete your meal. For my selection I got shrimp, pork and Chinese chives, with a side of edamame. For this experience, we ended up having to take it with us. I got my dumplings steamed (or boiled as they call it) and unfortunately they did fall apart in transport but the flavors were great. I've also come back to enjoy them fresh and they were better fresh. All in all, for a quick meal, you can go wrong with fresh dumplings! If you have a party and are in need of a great on, you also have the option to pick up a frozen. :)

Yelp
Amazing. Though it's not in my area or near anywhere I'd typically go, I'd definitely go back...again and again and again. Greeted by a friendly young person who took our order at the counter. Grabbed a seat of which there were many, I suspect most people place "to go" orders. Then waited while our dumplings were lovingly made to order. Love that there are veggie options and that each order of 15 dumplings come with a healthy side. Their grapefruit honey tea, which can be hot or cold, rocks. They have mochi for dessert! Lots of options, plentiful parking, plentiful seating.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Making homemade dumplings is a timely process so when I found this place it was like winning the lottery! Handmade, authentic, healthy and fresh. What else can you ask for? We are vegetarian so we always get the egg / zucchini. I prefer boiled and my spouse prefers pan fried. Each order comes with 15 dumplings, a healthy side and sauces! Stop what you're doing and give this place a try. You won't regret it!

Dan K.

Yelp
Great dumplings. Not officially soup dumplings but they have some soup like quality. I am used to this type of food in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this place in Libertyville! This is one of my wife's favorite restaurants now for takeout. The beef are my favorite.

Mackenzie W.

Yelp
Gosh what an amazing place here in Great Lakes. I really enjoyed the pan seared dumplings. They were soooooo good. Service was fast and very polite. The store was very pretty too. 5/5 rating because I have a full belly and am definitely coming back! Thank you! Amazing recipe too. :))

Tess I.

Yelp
What an amazing experience! The most authentic dumplings you can find around here and the owner was so delightful to talk to. We got a variety of dumplings and the hot tea pot and it was perfect. Everything made in house - the chili sauce, the meat chopped in house, and the sides. It was so great we will definitely be back!

Yelp
This is your spot if you love dumplings. You first start by selecting whether you want your dumplings steamed or pan fried (an extra $1). Then you pick your choice of dumplings- from egg to chicken, shrimp, pork, beef, or vegetable). You get to pick a side- seaweed salad, side salad, shredded potato salad, and coleslaw. Lastly you can pick a sauce to pair with your dumplings- soy sauce, chili sauce, and I believe they have a third option. In addition to the dumplings you could add a boba tea and tea boiled eggs. We've had the beef and onion, along with the shrimp and pork dumplings both pan seared. They are made cooked to order, so you get fresh hot dumplings. We took ours to go and we could not resist the smell on the drive home and ate half of them before even getting home. The outside has a slight crispness to it and the filling is not only flavorful but juicy. I appreciate that they do not skimp on the filling, like some places do I do wish they have an actual dumpling sauce. I think the soy sauce is just to overpowering so kept it light if you use it. I also wish they were a tad bit more generous with the sides. It's super small. Like a 2 bites you're done small. Now- say you love their dumplings so much or you just want to have some later in the week, they do sell frozen dumplings that you can cook at home!
google avatar

Cassady H.

Yelp
This place has some truly excellent dumplings! The place was small but clean and the worker who took my order was very friendly and helpful. It took about 10 minutes for our order of pan cooked, pork shrimp and chive dumplings to come out. Careful, they are literally bursting with flavor! They shoot out juice when you take a bite, so be prepared for some mess. The sides are a nice accompaniment but nothing to write home about. I enjoyed them so much I got a second order, this time the beef and onion. Again, fantastic. I liked the pork ones better, but they were all delicious. You can order some frozen ones to take home as well, I think I'll definitely grab some next time. Overall a great experience! I do wish they had a few more options, both for the dumplings and the sides, but at least everything they make is done well. Come try these dumplings, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Today is our 3rd visit in 3 weeks. We really like the home-made dumplings -- fresh & delicious. The owner/ manager Angela is very hands on which is why the quality of the food & experience is consistently good. Def 5 + stars!!

Yelp
Came for a quick stop for some boba on our way home. A cute shop with friendly staff and great decor. They offer a smaller list of boba tea options which I honestly preferred. Those large billboards of options can sometimes be daunting and leave me indecisive about my choices. A simple distribution of black, oolong, and jasmine teas makes for a great decision no matter which you choose. The oolong tea was delicious. Not too sweet with a nice emphasis on the tea. The jasmine tea was a little on the sweeter side with a nice floral note to it. Overall a great experience. Would come again

Yelp
We were in the area to visit the Adler Art Museum, and this eatery caught our eye because we love dumplings! We tried 3 kinds: shrimp, pork, and chicken. Everything was delicious, served piping hot, and enjoyed by our group of friends. Even my toddler liked them, and I appreciated that they weren't too salty because it's hard to find low-sodium toddler food for takeout. Friendly service. Would return next time I'm in the area :)

Yelp
Amazing homemade dumplings! Portion size is fair for the price. Comfortable self-service dine in restaurant.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm really shocked by these reviews- dumplings are my favorite food! Ordered shrimp/pork. I actually was upset at first since I thought they had given me the wrong order, because I could not locate anything shrimp-like until the third dumpling. Completely mushy exterior- totally overcooked and bland filling to boot. The sauce offered was straight soy. Ugh. So disappointing. I rarely leave food, but I seriously only ate about three of these after being on a plane all day and then straight to work for multiple hours. Just not worth eating after all that.
google avatar

Brenda K.

Yelp
We came here after our golf game and order some dumplings, our first dine-in experience over 14 months! It was kinda weird sitting inside to eat, since we've been doing take outs a lot since the pandemic started! But I felt pretty comfortable and safe eating here, no one else was dining inside except for us! I saw a few take out orders during the time we're there! I finally got to taste their dumplings, we order steam and pan seared! I had three different fillings, chicken, beef and shrimp! The only problem is when we got the food, I really can't tell which is which! The flavor wasn't that distinct, I had chicken with mushrooms but didn't taste any mushrooms! That goes with the beef and shrimp! All three flavors tasted the same. This is really a self service place, you order and pick up at the counter! When you are done, you bring your dirty plates to a bin in the front and throw all the trash in the trash can! The coolest thing that I thought was pretty cool was their sanitized chopsticks dispenser!
google avatar

Celia P.

Yelp
So yummy all the time as a repeat customer, great for pickup and I love their tea eggs so so much! Please stop in and give this place a try!

Yelp
Dangela's has really great dumplings all fresh made in house. They also have frozen dumplings you can buy to take home and steam yourself.
google avatar

Cassie J.

Yelp
Delicious!! Dumplings are flavorful and super juicy. So juicy they're almost like soup dumplings! The pork and shrimp are my favorite, but my husband prefers the beef and onion. Both are very good! Be careful eating them - they come out very hot and the juice can spill out if you don't eat it in one bite. The seaweed salad is my favorite side, but unfortunately they only offer it as an appetizer now. You can't get it as your side. It's counter serve, so the atmosphere is very casual and informal. The service can be hit or miss depending on who is at the register. Angela (I assume she's the owners) is always super sweet.
google avatar

Tracy L.

Yelp
Great quality dumplings! They are homemade and wrapped well. I prefer them pan fried over steamed. My favorite flavor is the Shrimp, Pork + Chinese Chives. Tea Boiled Eggs were cooked well, but I wish there was more tea flavor. They're better than purchasing commercially frozen dumplings from an Asian store.
google avatar

Kimberly S.

Yelp
Super cute little place that I stumbled upon with my son. Dumplings were very fresh. The only thing was that you could not mix and match the different dumplings which I would've really like to do. And also I guess I should've known but there are only dumplings available. It would be nice to also offer soup and little salads if possible, but the dumplings do speak for themselves out standing.
google avatar

Julie G.

Yelp
Amazing little gem in Libertyville. They are a great spot to get fresh, pan seared potstickers/dumplings! We ordered the beef and onion, and the pork and shrimp. Yum!!! The staff is so friendly and the restaurant is very clean and cute. They prepare your dumplings right there. You can watch the kitchen through a large window. Steady flow of business and very clean and safe during covid. The dumplings were sooo good! Beautiful flavors and nice presentation. We ordered several packs of them frozen, to go. We will be back

Joshua P.

Yelp
The food is INCREDIBLE! Everything else is great too, but the food is the literal cherry on top! 5stars Def recommend.

Yelp
Went early on a Friday after work. The place is super clean and cute. The person who waited on us was part of the mother-daughter team owners. She was very enthusiastic and helpful with decision making. We ordered the shrimp dumpling steamed and the pork dumplings fried to experience both cooking preparations. There was enough to take some home. The dumplings couldn't be fresher and the wrappers were nice and thin. There were several sauces on the table to enhance the flavors. The also offer uncooked packages for take out. Really good local spot for fresh Asian dumplings.

Yelp
Yay! A dumpling place that opened in Libertyville! They are in the same plaza as chipotle with plenty of parking available. Dumplings are typically made to be boiled. With that being said, I recommend getting boiled dumplings over pan seared. For beginners, I highly recommend the pork and celery if you've never had dumplings before. I'm confident you will enjoy them. I think they taste better than the beef option. I'm a little biased because I'm not a fan of beef :P if you like seafood, then definitely order number 4 or 5. The boiled dumplings will have a richer flavor! Alright, now with the sauce! Go ahead and try just dipping the dumplings in soy sauce first. But afterwards, I would recommend adding some vinegar in your soy sauce and mix it together. I think you will notice by adding the vinegar , it really brings out another layer of flavor! And it makes the boiled dumplings taste a lot better. (But don't add too much. The vinegar smell will be too over powering. I would try half a spoon of vinegar first ) I think this place is kind of fun to bring kids to because they have an open kitchen that lets you see how the dumplings are being made and cooked. I can't wait to come back and try their seafood dumplings!
google avatar

Gary H.

Yelp
Cute. They have an unusual ordering process. Basically 1) Boiled or steamed, 2) Filling, 3) Side dish. Sort of fast casual. I'm used to dumpling places where you just order by the basket. Point being. Grab some hot tea, boba, or a soft drink and have a seat as your order is made fresh. I knew it was going to be good from the moment I noticed it's a family affair. They have a window into the kitchen and granny is doing prep. You know that's going to be good.
google avatar

Yasu H.

Yelp
This place is a real find. It's a small family business where you can watch dumplings being made by hand and cooked. The dumplings are the thinner skin version which can be either boiled / steamed or pan fried. Fresh dumplings are noticeably different from frozen versions available in many other establishments - filling has some soup/broth from cooking and has the necessary crisp edges when pan fried. Side dishes are American-palate friendly (steamed broccoli, beet salad, Cole slaw). There is a shredded potato salad option but I wouldn't have minded seeing more Chinese sides. Being a family business, food can take a bit of time when busy, but these dumplings are well worth the wait. Highly recommended.

Christopher V.

Yelp
Really outstanding dumplings. These dumplings are made to order with love from a very sweet lady who definitely knows what she is doing. One order comes with 15 Dumplings and a side dish so it is definitely a ton of food. The dumplings have a tasty filling and also soup inside so each bite literally bursts in your mouth. Not only are they perfectly cooked, but the bottoms were super crispy, and I would recommend getting your dumplings pan-fried. I really liked the beef and onion but also enjoyed the shrimp, pork, and Chinese chives. Will be back to try more flavors! The side dishes are also pretty good. We also made a mixture of the sauces such as the chili oil, soy sauce, and vinegar, which was a tasty pairing for the dumplings. Something to note, each order is made fresh and this small kitchen has a ton of orders, so it took about 40 minutes to get out food. The lady was super nice about this but would recommend calling ahead or ordering to-go if you are trying to come during a busy time.

Yelp
I went to eat here with my boyfriend on a whim, and it was an amazing experience. I got the Pork and Onion pan-fried dumplings and they were fresh off of the pan and delicious! The service was wonderful and the place itself was pretty/ well decorated. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Great chewy wrapper. Held together well and trapped all juices inside. Fillings are tasty. Love that it's juicy and flavorful. We got the beef and onions, and the shrimp pork chives. Black vinegar and soy sauce is perfect with it. Sides were ok. Price is a bit pricey premium.

Yelp
Loved this little spot!! 10/10 dumplings, they are as flavorful as they are juicy! Every order is made to order right there in front of you. It's a cute little "mom and pop" dumpling joint, where the owners are the ones hand making everything, you can see them through the window that they have! They also have boba drinks, which were surprisingly good! The milk tea was on point and the boba was soft :) 100% coming back here everytime I visit Chicago! Best dumplings I've had!

Yelp
Small but homey and the dumplings are homemade to order and taste delicious. I love that I can order frozen dumplings to go.

Yelp
Taste is not bad Price reasonable, not on the cheap end They need to turn on their kitchen vent I walked out smelling grease like Had to throw Jacket n all into the washer as soon as I got home n washed myself from head to toe, unless you don't mind walking like a piece of fried food Giving them a 3 stars because I also have to take my cashmere scarf to the dry cleaner

Yelp
I stopped in on a whim. This is a small family business. They are so friendly. Most of all the dumplings were delicious. I had the chicken a d mushroom plate. Lot of delicious freshly made to order dumplings. A nd the broccoli side dish was perfect. Al dente, not overcooked. I'd come back again to try the other dumpling flavors.
