London’s New Restaurant Openings

"Dang’s is a new cocktail bar and Thai fried chicken spot in Spitalfields. The basement restaurant will serve a short menu of wings—larb or zaab—and whole marinated chickens. Of the whole chickens, the Hat Yai one, marinated in garlic, pepper, fish sauce, and coriander, and deep-fried, sounds particularly good. " - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

A Perfect Spot for a Great Night Out This pub has an amazing vibe! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with just the right mix of lively energy and cozy comfort. The cocktails are absolutely fantastic—crafted with care, they’re not just drinks, they’re an experience. The food complements the drinks perfectly, with delicious flavors and generous portions. Whether you’re catching up with friends or just looking for a place to unwind, this pub ticks all the boxes. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys great food, creative cocktails, and a vibrant yet relaxed ambiance! Let me know if you’d like to tweak it further.

Had a lovely time here with my wife. Great cocktails made by bar staff that really know their stuff. The Thai food was incredible with some amazing flavours in every dish. This was all topped off with some amazing artwork on the wall and a classy cocktail bar ambience. Would highly recommend.

Amazing vibes, food, and cocktails! I'm totally in love with this hidden gem cocktail bar. All the food is incredible. Hat Yai Fried Chicken and Rambutan cocktail are my favorite.

What a cool spot! Dangs is the coolest new Thai themed speakeasy in London. Hat Yai fried chicken was amazing with sticky rice. Cocktail selection was amazing - the rambutan & meet your matcha were our favourites! Matt & team were great - would recommend

A friend said "feels like a New York bar" and it's true; subterranean, dimly lit, great cocktails, good music, nice cosy space, all the hallmarks of a Big Apple cocktail dive bar. Is that even a thing tbh? 😅 Still, I was impressed with the inventive East Asian themed cocktails and delicious food (Hat Yai Chicken is a must), I'll be coming back for sure. Maybe the London cocktail scene is due a bit of a... shake(r)-up. 🍸🍹🍸🍹

Nested below Slurp restaurant, Dang’s gives vibes of a prohibition speakeasy cocktail bar. Not high end by any means. Pretty standard to be honest. There are a dozen or so cocktails to choose but they also offer the classics which is good. The special was a mango calypso style daiquiri (though it was made with brandy not rum). Tasty but the bar chap didn’t double strain so it had some icebergs floating about. I can see what experience they are trying to create, but recommend they put a bit more effort into the cocktail menu and be a bit more adventurous. Very quiet for a New Year Eve but suspect it will have picked up later in the evening as it was free entry. Overall, would definitely visit the restaurant again, but probably not the cocktail bar. There are better ones in the area that offer just as good value. Sorry!
