London’s New Restaurant Openings

"Dang’s is a new cocktail bar and Thai fried chicken spot in Spitalfields. The basement restaurant will serve a short menu of wings—larb or zaab—and whole marinated chickens. Of the whole chickens, the Hat Yai one, marinated in garlic, pepper, fish sauce, and coriander, and deep-fried, sounds particularly good. " - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Great venue, tucked away just off the main road and a stones throw from Spitalfields market. Excellent cocktails, strong, well blended flavours with an inventive asian influence. Super friendly staff and tasty snacks (a little cold from their trip down from the kitchen) Top place and definitely worth a visit

Pad See Ew, Som Tum, and Hat Yai fried chicken were all very delicious. The atmosphere was great, with relaxing Thai music that made me feel happy. I really like this restaurant a lot.

Celebrated my birthday here and it was amazing! Got to book out the entire venue and it was such a nice space. The drinks were delicious, they even gave me a special happy hour and allowed me to design my own menu. I ordered some food as well and people said it was incredible. All the guests were very impressed with everything. Thank you to Matthew and the team for making my birthday so special!

The must-try menu item? The Thai Tea Cocktail! I have to put this one at the top of my review because it’s highly recommended! I mean… how many places can you find Thai tea mixed with alcohol? It was honestly so good, I swear! The aroma was authentic Thai tea, and the taste? Exactly like Thai tea with just the right amount of sweetness and a perfect boozy twist. You absolutely have to try it! As for the atmosphere, it was cozy and felt quite private. All the staff were lovely and welcoming. I had such a great time hanging out with my friend. we stayed there for 2–3 hours, ordered four drinks, and played Mahjong while sipping. You can probably tell how happy we were just by looking at the pictures!

A Perfect Spot for a Great Night Out This pub has an amazing vibe! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with just the right mix of lively energy and cozy comfort. The cocktails are absolutely fantastic—crafted with care, they’re not just drinks, they’re an experience. The food complements the drinks perfectly, with delicious flavors and generous portions. Whether you’re catching up with friends or just looking for a place to unwind, this pub ticks all the boxes. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys great food, creative cocktails, and a vibrant yet relaxed ambiance! Let me know if you’d like to tweak it further.

Dangs – A Hidden Speakeasy Gem Beneath Slurp Tucked beneath the Thai restaurant Slurp in London, Dangs is a moody, dungeon-style speakeasy that instantly transports you to a different world. The dim lighting, stone walls, and cozy vibe make it an ideal spot for a night out, whether you're looking to unwind quietly in a corner or strike up a conversation at the bar. One incredible perk: if you dine at Slurp, bring your receipt down to Dangs for a discount on your first round—such a fun way to transition from dinner to drinks. As for the cocktails, they are top-notch. I ordered the Mojito, which was one of the smoothest I’ve had—refreshing, balanced, and easy to sip. I also tried the Ume Breeza, which I highly recommend if you enjoy a drink with a perfect sweet-and-sour kick. Whether you're looking for a low-key place to relax or a stylish bar with character, Dangs delivers on all fronts. Definitely a spot to check out if you're in the Spitalfields area.
