"This aptly named restaurant (At Nino’s house) is situated in chef Nino Di Costanzo’s own house in a residential district amid the hills of Ischia. Once over the threshold, you make your way through a garden planted with a variety of Mediterranean maquis shrubs and flowers, where aperitifs and post-dinner drinks are served in the evening. There are just a few tables in the dining room, which is crowned by a typical vaulted ceiling and where guests wishing to watch the chef at work can take a seat right in front of the kitchen. The dishes here are extremely elaborate, technical and sophisticated, perfect for anyone who loves concept-based cuisine with occasionally surprising results, including in presentation. Superb dining experience. Incredible attention to service and detail. Completely set the highest standard for what fine dining can be. We were wowed by the imaginative menu, the deliciousness of the food, the serveware and elevated style, just all! Could not recommend more. Also Mateo - the host and head server - was a complete riot. Made the whole experience memorable.

Best dining experience I’ve ever had. Chef Nino Di Costanzo is a true artist. Every dish, and every detail of the restaurant are from the heart and excellently executed. Our servers were phenomenal and genuine, Matteo who was hilarious and greeted us and toured the garden, our main server, I want to say Grace but I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name - we loved you very much! - and Davide, the somm who showed us the wine cellar. Thank you all so much for making my birthday and our honeymoon so special.

The food, the service, the experience- was like art. Highly recommend. Our waiters were funny and nice, and food was outstanding (best pasta I’ve ever eaten!), each plate was arranged beautifully and artfully, the atmosphere and decor was lovely, and they went above and beyond to make us happy. Just do it!

Absolutely amazing experience. Our first Michelin star restaurant experience. We had lunch, the chefs choice. They were accommodating to my inability to have fish. Every course was delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Also gave great recommendations for wine to order. Some surprises along the way and much more food than I had expected. We left very satisfied.

What can I say? The drive to this restaurant felt like Frodo and Sam’s trek to Mordor—except our quest was for some truly fancy POH-TAH-TOES. And yes, it was absolutely worth it. If you’ve done your homework, you already know this place deserves its 2 stars. If you’re on the fence, don’t be—it’s the real deal. No food pics here; they wouldn’t do it justice. You’ll just have to experience it for yourself.

The overall experience was unbelievable. The service is the best I have ever experienced. The waiters are friendly, professional and have such an attention to detail. The garden leading to the restaurant is beyond beautiful. We could've sat out there and been very happy. The food was very unique, presented in such an interesting way but lacked depth in flavor. We did the chef's choice tasting menu. I would recommend ordering La cart.

Wow. Just wow. This is an experience I will never forget from start to finish it was incredible. It wasn't just the food it was the whole experience. The men in blue suits, the dining room filled with clown art, the whimsy found in every single dish. This is not soul food, it's food that speaks to your inner child. I absolutely loved it. This could be one of the most expensive meals of your life but if you can afford it, it will be worth every penny. The circus dessert is a must. It's absolutely beautiful. Whimsical, artistic, fabulous!
