Daniela's Downtown

Great little coffee place. While it closes at 1400, the door stayed open the whole time after we arrived and we weren’t rushed out. We stayed well past 2pm… they were really nice. Staff was attentive, friendly and polite. Got a local Charleston Honey Latte, but what was really great about this place is all of the local food and artisan sundries that are available on the shelves. Recommend this place for a lazy Saturday morning; it was quiet enough for people to read and study. They sell pastries and cold drinks too.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE COFFEE SHOP IN CHARLESTON YALL! Daniela's downtown has the best atmosphere (love the little back patio + cool mural), the sweetest staff and the best breakfast sandwich in town. I eat here every. single. day. They are open on Sundays and pretty early in the morning. This is a true gem of the neighborhood and I am so glad it is here. Daniela's is the best - check it out for coffee, breakfast, lunch or to snag some local produce/gifts.

I’m always looking forward to try new coffee shops and this one was 10/10! We got a matcha iced latte, the charleston honey iced latte, and a cheddar jalapeño bagel and they were all really good. Service was good as well, cashier was nice and even gave us some recommendations. Will be looking forward to coming back!!!

Stayed at a vacation rental across the street from this place so I decided to give it a try. WOW the breakfast sub I got was sooooo good. The bread was soft and it had plenty of flavor. Also got a coffee which I didn't get a picture of since I drank it so fast. They also have a small market which I bought a bottle of hot sauce. If you're in town you gotta try this place out.

Our daughter lives in Charleston and we visited Daniella’s when we came to see here. The atmosphere is cosy and warm. While we were there a tour group was enjoying a meal from ingredients they had selected. the owner and head chef Natasha was explaining each dish and how she prepared them. I ordered her chicken sandwich. I loved it and I think about that sandwich often. I cannot wait to have that again when we are in Charleston..

What a gem of a gathering spot. Daniella’s has lovely people, great drip coffee, and amazing ambiance. Also I love their mini market. Making this my new “work from home” spot for sure

Nice little coffee shop that serves breakfast and lunch. There is a small selection of canned goods some locally sourced. It's a very cute place with cute window seating. Parking is difficult. There is a very small amount of street parking but make sure it's not a residential zone. Plan to have to walk. I got the pesto chicken sandwich and a pumpkin pie iced latte. It came out to about $23. The latte was good, but did not have any pumpkin/pumpkin pie flavor. The sandwich was pretty disappointing. The chicken tenders were not crispy and overall it lacked flavor. It was just okay. Not worth the $15.

5/5 Everything about this place was super unique and cool! The food menu has your basics but also had some fun items as well, I went basic and chose the Italian sub. It definitely hit the spot, the pickle was super fresh and the bag of chips made for the perfect amount of food for lunch. I will definitely be back to check out the little market area, was pressed for time this time.

Despite the name, this is a relatively quiet area that doesn't have a downtown feel but is near the hospital. This place offers some niche and local goods for sale and does have freshly prepared beverages. Freshly prepared food for lunch was in the offing as well, but apparently not for breakfast when I stopped in. I got a chai, which no one could accuse of anything other than being strongly, flavored both in terms of being very sweet, but also substantively with the other aspects of the chai. I picked up some local potato chips as well. Charleston has no shortages of places like this that offer niche and high-quality food. This one would be a nice place for a lunch stop.

Ordered sandwiches/salads for a group work meeting and everything was SO GOOD! With a quick email to Natasha, we were able to get everything set up ahead of time so that all we had to do was pick up. She made it all so seamless! I personally got the Chicken Cutlet sandwich and it was delicious! Flavors were on point. Everyone was raving about their food choices so I can't wait to go back and try more! Also--Don't sleep on the chocolate chip cookies, they were 10/10 10000% would recommend!

Such a cute spot. We stopped in randomly while on vacation. The girl at the register was soo great and very helpful when it came to my coffee choice. The French dip sandwich was awesome!

Very cute & really new to the neighborhood. I had some delicious pastries. They have 6 tables & groceries to go.

We had coffee, breakfast sandwiches and pastries and everything was incredible! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable re food allergies. Its super cute, cozy porch & very welcoming.

Really cute little market with lots of local goods. Great for picking up items if staying in an Airbnb. The sandwiches are to die for!

Very cute place, they sell a lot of local items. It was busy with a line but my coffee was surprisingly ready fast. I ordered an ice latte and it was very good. The lady at the register was nice and asked if I needed help with any suggestions. Will definitely return to try their sandwiches.

I work directly across the street and having a place like Daniela's around is not only convenient, but money well spent on food. Natasha is the best. She serves up the best decaf coffee and aims to please. Her pesto garlic chicken is the bomb. I now substitute Fish Fridays and go for this delicious garlic pesto chicken sub. Ohhh so good!

The owner named this relaxing eatery and gourmet market after her mom. The coffee is my favorite in Charleston. The quiche is delicious. The space is warm and inviting. Daniela's is a peaceful spot to enjoy good food and even better company. During my month in Charleston, the owner Natasha became a friend. I would go higher than 5 if I could.
