amazing energy & flawless espresso! as someone who can be a bit picky with their americanos, they were up to the challenge and even offered to swap it with drip if i was unsatisfied. all of their pastries were in a glass case & the blueberry muffin was delightful. the service was wonderful, which can’t be said everywhere. would definitely come back again; such a gem!

I was already looking up this place to try their coffee, and while I was doing that in the restaurant I was in I heard two different conversations of people saying they loved their coffee! So that solidified that I have to try them haha. I got the vanilla latte with oatmilk, it was great and the staff was very friendly. They even checked to make sure I liked it. Most places just hand you your drink and move on. Great spot.

Was hankering for something cold and refreshing that gorgeous sunny day and chanced upon this coffee place. I dont drink coffee, but my friend swears how good their coffee is. They use Colombe coffee, so I guess it is a good one. Coffee drinkers know what they want😂. This is a small place and they have other beverages besides coffee. Wanted to write this review because they have very nice polite staff working there. Knocked a star off though because the patrons from next door almost monopolized the tables for this cafe, and nobody came out to make sure their own patrons were able to seat. There are only 2 tables outside so either you just leave or not come in at all😥.

Small coffee shop in Manhattan. I was thinking to try Chagaccino it’s all over internet. This place have it not just that but so much more. They also have breakfast items, vegan sandwiches, juice , yogurt and fresh pastries. Some gift item available.

Excellent coffee and great service. They were very patient with my kids which is always appreciated- especially in a city like Manhattan which isn’t a give in

I really wanted to love it hear cause I had seen a bunch about this place. The interior is super cute and the green cups are awesome. My oat milk honey latte didn't really have much flavor it just tasted like milk. Obviously a latte has mostly milk but u couldn't taste the espresso at all. Also think $7 for a latte is steep especially since they use la colombe and not their own beans . This is just my opinion and the decor and everything really is fun! Come give this place a try if you are in the area!

I stand by my previous review. The coffee is here is nothing special. This time I got the Biscoff latte ($9.73). This really didn't taste like anything... no hint of Biscoff cookies. Definitely not worth $9.73.

I wish I knew about this place earlier! Heard about this place on social media so I wanted to check out their coffee/latte drinks. Using La Colombe coffee, they offer a wide range of speciality lattes. I got the Benson which was a hazelnut white mocha. While I couldn't taste the hazelnut much, I did really enjoy the nicely blended white mocha and the appropriate sweetness. The Strawberry Draft Latte was very solid! Even with an extra espresso shot, the strawberry flavors were prominent but not overpowering or artificial. The espresso flavors in both drinks were good. Drinks came out pretty quick. The menu is physically spread out so I felt like I had to peak between customers to see all my options. The store itself only had a few high top table seating so its more of a grab and go place. They also do breakfast tacos and pastries so I'm hoping to try next time!

After coming to Daniel's Coffee, I realized that I should have come here sooner having passed it many times in my neighborhood. I ordered the Dulce De Leche coffee drink with espresso. It was deliciously smoothe and not too sweet either! It was pricier than I thought it would be, but totally worth it and the size is larger than a grande cup at Starbucks. :) Even though it's compact, Daniel's is definitely a standout. The tropical wallpaper, neon signage, and lots of plants and merchandise really do make this place unique and compelling. The marble green barista station balances it out with a touch of sophistication. The barista was really nice and helped explain to me the different "Barista Spring Favorites" coffee drinks. I also got the sense of true passion, authenticity, and commitment for serving quality coffee as a local small business. I'm excited to try more coffee at Daniel's in the future!

I absolutely love this place! It's super cool they have draft lattes, so it makes it easy to just pop in and out quickly. I haven't tried much of their food items but the pastries are great. Also super cute in there and the staff is phenomenal -- always so friendly.

Put this coffee place in first place. A cozy spot on third Avenue with plenty of flavored concoctions available for your liking, this spot has withstood the "test of time." Over the past few years frequently getting coffee and treats here, the quality has never suffered. As an example, they sell La Colombe coffee, including the decaffeinated version, which will impress anybody who appreciates high quality grade the owner, Daniel, is extremely friendly and remembers faces, which means a lot. I would highly suggest getting some of the sugar-free vanilla and caramel spiced lattes. They also have other flavored drinks, depending on the day of week with specials on a regular basis.

Eh. I don't like the decor inside -- black and white with fluorescent green accents. Did not feel like an aesthetically pleasing space to be in for me. Got a cold brew and didn't love the flavor. My friend got some sort of upgraded coffee that was like $10 -- crazy. The wait staff wasn't very welcoming either. I don't feel a reason to come back.

My go to coffee spot! I will literally wake up earlier just to stop at UES and get my iced latte. Workers here are super friendly and provide good service. Not to mention the cute decor it has , greenery in the middle of the city!!

Quaint coffee shop with constant customer base and an ambience that is relaxed while offering a unique menu. I tried 1 of their summer favorites: cereal oatmilk latte and it tastes very good! The store is clean, I love the addition of plants in the front to give it a more natural look, and the baristas are nice and quick with getting everyone's orders! Keep it up!!

A pretty unexpectedly good place for a coffee. Daniel's is a very small coffee shop that serves La Colombe, one of the best around here. It also has some healthy treats that are vegan. Has fairly good prices especially on drip coffee and the lesser fancy ones. They also make their own seasonal blends which not only taste good but smell really good too. Cute, if you can say that about a coffee shop or any business. It only has a counter and a couple seats inside so it's not much of a hangout. This is mostly a get a cup of coffee and move on kind of place. It's $2.75 for a regular drip. That price can hardly be beat around here. How can it go on with low prices on coffee? They also sell expensive vegan friendly treats. Mostly the Rawmantic Bar. This is raw and vegan. It's about $5 each. These are pretty good to munch on between sips. Could be the smallest coffee shop you'll see but there's even smaller if you can believe it. It has great products for the most part. There's not much room to hang out so it's not a good place for working.

Daniel's Coffee looked promising when I visited the first time. I've heard a lot about La Colombe Coffee Roasters. I'm definitely not a coffee expert but this coffee didn't taste like the Colombian Coffee I've had at other places. Like I say, if I need two Sweet n Low to rid it of the off taste then it's not for me. It wasn't bitter, it just tasted bland. I like the taste of coffee! I'm giving it three stars. Customer Service was good. Two men working to keep the line moving. There's seating outside. A lady asked to sit with me. It's windy outside this morning. Hopefully any germs will blow away! I'm sure not going to ask her if she's been vaccinated! Have a good morning. I'm going to Juan Valdez tomorrow!

If I lived in the neighborhood I could definitely see myself coming here often for coffee. I love how they have all the baristas favorites on a chalkboard. I had the oat honey latte; it seemed to be their top drink. I had it along with an oat raisin scone. I definitely got very full off all the oat!

I got a honey oat milk latte this morning - it tastes like love in a cup. So warm, sweet, and cozy! The staff were all very nice. Can't believe I haven't tried this place sooner. I would definitely recommend going if you're on the UES!

Tried this place a few times with high hopes since they have a number of beaming reviews on social media. To each their own, but I personally don't think the coffee or pastries are all that great. They have fun flavors, but I think the espresso itself is very hit or miss.

Ordered an iced honey oat milk latte and the drink was amazing- a nice balance between espresso, honey and oat milk. It's a small shop but has plenty of bar seating and beautifully decorated. Would 100% recommend checking this coffee place out if you're in the area!

Well made and strong but take note - expensive. Got one of the Barista Spring Favorites (stephanie w/ almond milk) which was 8.71 sans tip. Ask for simple syrup because it is on the bitter side!

I have only made a couple trips into Manhattan during Covid, and I am very excited I stopped here! I had heard about this place months ago, when they announced they were opening on the East Coast. Their instagram really caught my eye, especially since they were coming to the Upper East Side by where I work. The coffee shop itself is quite small, but cute and cozy. The barista was very friendly when I asked her advice on what to order. I ended up ordering an iced vanilla latte, which was perfect. I was almost going to pair it with a pastry (Balthazar!) but decided not to. Unfortunately since I am not at my office until most likely next year, I can't come to this spot as much as I want, but once that changes this will be my go to caffeination station!

Truly discovered a new gem on the UES. So glad I stopped by this weekend and got to experience what Daniel and his team have to offer. Not only is the coffee all by La Colombe which is a huge plus, but the team curates a specialty seasonal menu which rotates. I tried the classic honey oat milk latte which is a must, smooth and creamy without too much sweetness. They also just launched a collab with Uptaco serving a variety of breakfast wraps. All pastries are fresh from Balthazar and the Croissant is worth every calorie. Customer service is top notch and a much welcomed addition to the neighborhood!

Such a fan of this place. They have very unique options that are very apt for the season. The prices are also reasonable and they don't fill up the coffee with just foamed/steamed milk. I've gone twice and have been super happy with my drinks. The service is also friendly and it's a small/cutesy shop. I wish they had more seats inside though.

The coffee was cold. The server was trying to convince me that a café latte is served only cold. I also got a chocolate croissant which must've been two days old. It was terrible. When I asked how old the croissant was, they got very angry with me. They did offer me something in exchange, but at that point I had had enough.

Five stars for A coffee shop if it meets some basic requirements: cleanliness, friendliness, deliciousness. A student of mine recommended this place, and it's a gem of a discovery. Daniels Coffee and More serves Balthazar pastries (the best in NYC) , and if you're looking for something a little healthier, it also offers a variety of standard smoothies, add-hot water-oatmeal's, and your typical upscale breakfast drinks. The coffee itself is delicious, and the baristas are quick to supply a variety of different milks. I'm typically only in this area for a dentist or doctor appointment, and when that happens my goal is always to stop at Daniel's. You should, too! Just know that if you go back to the shop after a 90 minute doctors appointment and want to warm up your coffee cup, there are no free refills.

Great lil coffee joint with fast and friendly service, reasonable prices, and a damn fine Americano. Not much seating room inside but there are a few spots.

This place is okay. The shop is cute, small with friendly staff. A few seats outside on the sidewalk, inside is standing room only. I ordered an Americano which was really watered down. Not a spot for true coffee enthusiasts in my opinion -- okay if you don't care about things like coffee to water ratio. Also ordered a bacon egg and cheese breakfast taco that was tasty but TINY.

This is the newest La Colombe based coffee joint in the local area and it's easily the best one. Very nice staff here. Their shakerato is fantastic and just as good as the Italian spots I have been to. Their cappuccino is also good but I primarily go for their shakerato.

The baristas were incredibly friendly and gave me plenty of time to read the menu and decide on my order. I ended up going for the New York mocha, which is a white + dark mocha, and it was absolutely delicious, although definitely on the sweeter side. I also ordered the vegan chorizo breakfast taco, which wasn't really breakfast-y but delicious nonetheless. I only wish that there were more seating available so I could've sat down there instead of taking my coffee and food to-go. Regardless, definitely worth a try!

I live around the neighborhood and decided to try this place - the staff was super friendly and nice! I liked the coffee too - I got one of the springtime specials on the board inside, the lavender white mocha latte! I've already recommended this coffee shop to my roommates, would definitely come back, especially because the interior is so fun and trendy!

Their "Black and Tan" drink is essentially milky iced coffee. Asked about it at the till, guy just smiled very non genuinely and basically couldn't care less, never been a fan of such an attitude. Ambiance is nada because it's grab and go - probably for the best for all!

YAY! Welcome to the neighborhood. I was power walking to work and "La Colombe" caught my eye, so naturally I wandered in. I already had coffee at work and had just upped my stash of Oatly but who can pass up a cup of La Colombe. Plus, is never seen them before, so why not! The barista was friendly and bubbly and asked if I wanted to add a pastry. He sold them well, adding that they were from Balthazar. So of course I did now. The coffee was smooth as La Colombe gets. The pastry was a bit dry and seemed like it would've been better a day or two ago. Other than that, happy to have a new coffee shop around!

So happy to finally find a place in the UES that serves La Colombe coffee! That definitely sets this spot aside from other local places. The price is also very reasonable- about $3 for a large drip coffee. The staff is super friendly and makes a board with their favorite beverages so you can get some inspo. I definitely want to try the fall specials which all sound really yummy and there's quite a variety. I wish they had more options for snacks, especially nut free. Also not a ton of seating. But will definitely make this a go to pick for a quick coffee run!

I walked by this coffee shop twice a day to and back from the 4, 5, 6 line and never thought anything about it. When I ran out of coffee beans at home and had to make a surprise trip to the work at 2am, I decided to reward myself by paying for my morning coffee and I think I may have screwed my wallet for the rest of time. This is probably one of the best coffees I've ever had. The regular iced coffee is strong, which is exactly how I like my coffee. Their highlights, in my opinion, are their specialty drinks with oat milk. I usually like my coffee black. I have a huge sweet tooth, which I'm trying to hold back, so sweeteners only when I've had a long night. But anything they make with oat milk is just plain amazing. The honey oat milk latte, black and white mocha... with oat milk, is amazing. The oat milk is so thick, plus how strong the coffee is, it goes together so well. The only down side is the steep price... but not going to argue for the quality.

The Chaga coffee is ! Cute tiny place on the UES, conveniently located right by the train stations. The service is incredibly friendly, helpful, and prompt. I also got a breakfast taco that was small but loaded, and delicious. It's a tad pricey, but I'll definitely be back for more.

Really good cold brew/ coffee Greta local spot near my house. I love supporting small businesses better then corporations. The customer service is better and they really go out of their ways. I usually just get the cold brew it's amazing and strong usually one cup is good for me all day. They also have amazing backed goods like chocolate croissants that come from Balthazar which are totally worth the hype. The only one let down from the place is they close early, i believe 6pm which i usually want my second cup around that time, but it's normal for the area as it slows down around 7pm. They also have a small outdoor area if you want to relax a bit and enjoy the outdoors while it's still nice.

Such friendly service! Tried the mushroom coffee and it didn't disappoint! The owner even gave me a free green tea bottle to go! They have all the dairy alternatives and a sizeable menu. Theres many food and snack options but i can't speak for them as I've only had coffee. Second time here and will definitely make it a point to keep coming back.

We had the rose lavender latte, one iced, one hot yesterday. We made it clear that we are vegan and watched as oat milk was put in our coffee as requested. The coffee was great! We asked for a vegan snack and were told the peanut butter bites were vegan, so we got them. We confirmed with our barista they were vegan and he said yes (the ingredients were too small to read so we depended on him). Imagine our dismay when, after a long train ride home, we looked at the packaging with glasses and saw that there was dairy milk in the snacks! What a waste of time and money. If we had eaten the treats, it would have undone decades of being vegan!! Moral: do not trust the answer of any barista re: vegan food. Always read the ingredients, if possible.

Kind and helpful staff, quick service, great coffee. I have social anxiety so usually ordering coffee is uncomfortable, but not here. Now going to be my go-to coffee stop in the area. I usually don't post reviews but felt compelled to. Highly recommend!

My daily go to! Delicious variety of drinks, my favorite is their La Colombe cold brew with oat. Their delicious pastries are from Balthazaar and occasionally from the hungry gnome. By far the best coffee shop in the area, friendly service and a great ambiance. If you want real coffee this is your place to visit.

My colleagues at Bloomies recommended Daniels as their go to place for a coffee break. I have been going a few times a week ever since. Their cold brew & specialty drinks are great for a midday boost. The staff is always friendly. Im always open to suggesting a beverage I have never tried before or one of their delicious treats. Daniel, the charming owner introduced me to their black white coffee and its worth every penny. Thanks Daniel & staff. Ill see you this week.

I can't believe that they have been operating since June and I just noticed them today! Such a cute little coffee shop with delicious strong coffee and fresh Balthazar pastries! The staff is also super friendly and nice! I'm glad to find out about this place in the neighborhood, I will definitely be coming back! :)

I had the chance to try Daniel's on their opening day and I'm so thrilled to have a new coffee shop in the neighborhood, especially under these circumstances. I ordered an iced honey oat latte and it was one of the best coffee drinks I've had in a long time. FYI they use Colombe coffee! Excited to try more and keep coming back. The barista let me know they'll have Balthazar pastries soon, which I'm really looking forward to. It is so great to be able to support a small business as opposed to the many Starbucks nearby.

Just found this cute little coffee place through Yelp, we ordered the 'Dani' coffee, the Hazelnut white mocha, apple turnover and the almond croissant.... everything tasted amazing! My husband who's the coffee drinker says he gives it an A++ Dani who helped us was very kind and his shop was very thoughtfully curated. Would highly recommend to everyone :)

The best oat milk mocha I have ever had! I don't know how they did it, but it was so rich and tasted like it would be creamy. Cute environment and a cute area too! Definitely stop by here if you can!

I came few times on Saturday or Sunday a young lady was always very nice she even help me when I drop some expresso on my shirt. I came today at 430 the table outside was almost removed and I have to ask twice if they're were closing at 5 , the young men was extremely rude in his answer I might go St Ambroeus few block up where the workers are better train To bad
