Danieru is a cozy, intimate sushi bar in Chelsea, where exquisite, fresh rolls and impeccably attentive staff create a delightful dining experience.
"There’s something about a quiet, neighbourhood spot, that you can only get to via narrow back roads, that feels special—and innately London. At Danieru, it’s also impossible for more than eight people to eat inside at one time, but as soon as the sun’s out, you can eat the incredible sushi on the delightful terrace instead. The tableside-grated wasabi is the best we’ve ever tasted, every interaction with the staff is a wholesome one, and people-watching in this pocket of Chelsea is exclusively pups and locals walking them." - daisy meager, jake missing, sinead cranna, rianne shlebak, heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, sinead cranna, rianne shlebak, jake missing, jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, sinead cranna, jake
"Danieru, a sushi restaurant by Chelsea Common, is small but serious. You’ll find touches here that you don’t get everywhere else—like grating wasabi tableside to order—and you truly feel taken care of at all times. We’re big fans of the excellent (in taste and value) six-piece salmon and tuna nigiri set, and the crispy tempura-filled, salmon-topped rolls. The generously filled spicy chutoro roll is also a crowd-pleaser, but know that the menu will inevitably make its way back to your table when you realise you absolutely need another round of buttery hotate nigiri. The restriction that comes with dinner here is that it’s impossible to seat more than eight people at a time (unless the weather is good, in which case the terrace is the best place to be). But honestly, this place is better in pairs anyway—more pieces of top-tier sushi for you. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Rianne Shlebak
