I have been coming to this location and Hunting Park location for years!! I order wing dings for large events or gatherings (4-5 events per year)100,150, 200 at a time. I ordered 200 wing dings and a long pan of Shrimp Fried Rice for $240 this weekend. I constantly ask, please do not give me missed cut wings! If u are going to charge almost $1 per wing ding I expect to have whole wing ding. See my photo that I have added to this review. Please keep in mind some of the miss cuts were eaten.

They fell all the way off and I mean all the way. Absolute trash, you’re better off just getting fried chicken from the market.

Danny Wok's wing are a great go to when you don't feel like cooking!

Best chicken! Great service!

Normally I go to the one on Broad St but since I was close to this one at the time I just decided to go this one. I got 30 wing dings and the chicken is horrible. It's hard, crunchy, and it looks like they haven't changed their oil in awhile because the chicken is so dark. Plus some of the wing dings ain't even a whole wing dings. It looks like chicken balls. This is my last time going here. I keep going to the one on Broad St.

Food is always good, short wait…needs to upgrade to accept electronic payments

I like this place. This is the cleanest takeout in the Olney area. I highly recommend this place. I hope it stays that way.

Delicious food especially the shrimp 🍤 fried rice

Yelp
I've heard so much about Danny Wok chicken wings so I finally got a chance to try them. My wings weren't crispy. The coating was too much for me. The pork fried rice, I didn't care for it. I will return and get just chicken wings.

Yelp
Very organized. Refreshing to eat food from a Chinese restaurant that doesn't feel the need to service my community through bullet proof glass. I bypass the other ones based on that alone. Food is o.k. They need to master the gravy a little better. It's impossible to enjoy a good egg foo young without a good gravy. I like the brand and everyone goes nuts over their fried chicken.

Yelp
Not as good as they were before the pandemic!!!! People just doesn't take their job seriously anymore, if anyone wants to order their food, it's best if you do it in person right @ the counter, rather than order over phone calling it in; the staff taking the orders is too busy laughing on the phone with a prior conversation she may had have with the gentleman's working in the back, it's bad enough I'm trying to understand her accent but to mix up with laughter and not paying attention to what's fully being spoken what my order is, it's very rude, and poor customer service!!! Please get it together Danny Wok y'all were better than this before the pandemic!! The food is still Great, but it's about customer service satisfaction as well, and please spare more condiments a family ordered three egg rolls, large garlic chicken, , two large shrimp eggfoo Young , 6chicken wings, Lg beef lo mein shouldn't only get 2 soy sauce, 1 duck sauce, 1 hot mustard... So I am given 21/2 stars because the food is good, CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!

Justin H.

Yelp
The food is good but they don't update the menu prices, expect to pay about twice as much as the menu says

Yelp
Ordered Sechzuan chicken and shrimp for pickup over the phone - the lady was polite as far as the language barrier could go. Picked it up after 30 minutes and the food was still hot. They added the spice I needed and it was 100% fresh. Veggies were crisp and the sauce was thick. Fried rice is made from brown rice which is okay guess. Healthier than the norm. The egg roll could've been better but overall the presentation, the food and the service was good upon pick up. Didn't leave a tip will but will leave one next time. 4.9/10

Yelp
Love their chicken. I ordered 70 pieces of fried chicken for a party. Crispy and juicy... definitely recommend

Yelp
Oh my God if you don't want to be disappointed and cold don't go here. This mess is just nasty. Egg fu young was disgusting. Gravy so thick it looks as if it were cold. It had absolutely no flavor. I'm home adding salt salt salt and pepper. And it's still nasty. My wing platter.... Really charging 6+ dollars for this tiny puppies they frying up. Four wings look like 2. Fries have no seasoning. And you have to sit outside in line for this nasty mess. I'm beyond disappointed with this mess. A waste of money and time.

Yelp
Chicken wings are an awesome choice as a cookout or dinner meal to bring. Trust me, they will be gone by the end of the night. So good!

Versatile S.

Yelp
Fried rice here is disgusting with that dry uncle ben's rice mixed with peas and carrots and scallops are dry and imitation. I do not recommend Danny's wok fell off. Stop going.

Yelp
They are set up completely for take out, there is a very small foyer set up customers to pick their food. Orders must be called in or placed online. Only one customer is allowed inside at a time. The process moves along pretty smoothly

Yelp
The food is delicious. Some of my favorites are the Ma Po Tofu, Orange chicken, and Sizzling chicken (must try). They give out huge portions even when you order a small size of it. I like the fact you can order through their website which lets me customize whether I want to upgrade my white rice to fried rice or lo-mein. The only drawback is that it's cash only but that's OK since they have an ATM there on the premise. I also wish they would deliver because I'm only 10 mins away.

Yelp
Food isn't good here. The wings are decent but grasses and always seasoned right. I use to come for the shrimp rolls but they went up and it's like 3.50 for 2. No thank you too many Chinese stores around to eat here.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered shrimp and broccoli. The first time it didn't taste too good. I thought I'd try a 2nd time since I was nearby and hungry. This time it made my stomach hurt... like food poisoning pain.. their shrimp was probably bad.. covered in so much sauce you can't even tell until it breaks down in your stomach .

Shardai G.

Yelp
Chicken wings are pretty good; they'll go really well with waffles lol. I haven't tried too much besides the wings, other than the broccoli and rice which was also pretty good. It's not the very best, but it's a solid option. Staff is friendly.

Yelp
Great food, portion sized but delicious! Love the shrimp and broccoli the most. The staff is nice and the eating area is always clean. The sitting space is limited. They prepare the food pretty lady so the wait time is not too long. You can only pay cash but they have a atm that charges a fee.

Yelp
Danny's Wok is the worst Chinese food on the PLANET. DO NOT EAT HERE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED Cheap bastards will cut your meat up into tinier pieces if you extra for extra meat! Bih I paid for it so give me extra!

Sidney C.

Yelp
I love Danny's Wok buffalo wings, very tasty. They have the best, fresh and crispy chicken wings.

Veronda M.

Yelp
Will be the only place I get my food from in this area. The place is clean and the food tastes no different from the Danny's Wok I go to. Staff is nice and takeout is not a long wait (unless it's the weekend). My only wish is they update the phone numbers and locations on website.

Yelp
When I found out about this location I was extra excited, Danny Wok's wings in an area that I frequent?! I made it out here on a Saturday night and it did not disappoint, same quality wings you expect from Danny Woks, but you get so much more! I called in my order since I hadn't been before, I got wings and my friend got bourbon chicken, it was new and shiny on the menu and they had never experience the wonder that is DW wings. We got there is is beautiful inside the set up is really nice and "futuristic" considering it's a Chinese store, they have the Television menus and everything. It was not crowded, our food was ready no wait, the staff was nice both on the phone and in person, which I am not used to at the other locations so it was a pleasant surprise. The wings were delicious! I tried the bourbon chicken that was pretty good as well. All in all and A+ experience. I will be back soon, very soon.

Yelp
I have had better. Everyone talks about their wings. They are ok. I mean anyone can fry chicken. I wasn't impressed the food seemed mushy like it was not thawed out before cooking.

Liz C.

Yelp
We love this place! It's our second go to place for chicken wings as well as our favorite Chinese food. The properties are always nice and clean.

Yelp

Yelp
My after work spot for chicken wings and shrimp rolls. Fast with great customer service

Yelp
Awesome wing, fast service when you call in the order. Wings are fried perfectly. Need I say more.

Yelp
Its hit or miss here. While i wouldnt say the food was super fantastic it was generally pretty decent. Unfortunately the last few times it has been hit or miss. After 2 misses i gave the place a break. Just went back today. The pork fried was stale tasting. The same reason i stopped going originally. The wings were ok but they have been better before. The Egg Foo Young was actually spot on this time. Although their egg foo young has always been a bit on the skimpy side compared to some other places. I actually dont think ill be back for a while again. ** Edit-- Against the adv of a friend i decided to give Dannys another chance..Horrible...The wings tasted like Fish Wings, the fries was ok..This w be last time i go to this particular Dannys..The other one still has good wings..
google avatar

Evelyn D.

Yelp
It was my first time here. I heard a lot of great things about it. So when I was craving Chinese food, I chose to go here. It did not disappoint. I got four chicken wings and chicken lo mein for less than eight dollars. The wings were tasty done just right and the lo mein had a really good flavor. I didn't have to use soy sauce. They have lunch and dinner specials that come with an egg roll and fried rice. Or you can get a chicken wing combo with rice or lo mein. I will definitely become my go to spot for Chinese and chicken wings.

Yelp
I was first introduced to Danny's Wok at the South West Philly location and fell in love. They put one near me in Olney and I was ecstatic!! As soon as they opened I was on it. And sadly I was not impressed. I hadn't been back since, but figured I'd give them a shot today, and low and behold still the same. They are famous for the chicken wings, and the wings at this location are average at best. Oh well I tried

Steven S.

Yelp
I went into Danny Wok to order a large amount of chicken wings. I asked if I could get some fresh cooked one from the next batch. They told they the ones that was out are fresh, I still wanted the new batch. They started talking angrily in there language. When the new wing came up the cook mixed the old wings in with them, making it hard to tell the difference. If I want fresh wings, I should get fresh wings. I will not go back.

Ron S.

Yelp
Been coming to Danny's Wok sine they were on Baltimore Ave. in West Philly. They just opened a third one on Broad St. The Broad St one is the best. The chicken is well seasoned and the egg foo young is great.

Chris W.

Yelp
Out of all the Chinese stores in olney by far the worst and unprofessional. Don't bother coming in an hour before they close or they'll treat you like crap trying to rush you out. Food is average and skimp. And they could care less about hygiene
