Great place! Food was twice it's size I thought it was! Was in town for a day and had a great experience at this place!

Nice big slices full of toppings and flavor!! Coconut tea was delish!!

Cool place, the staff was friendly. The bread stick was very delicious and the cheese pizza was good. It was a little too greasy and the marinara sauce was a bit too watered down but overall it was worth it and I would definitely eat there again.

I just wanted to let everyone know that their calzones are ✨SCRUMPTIOUS✨ and their pizza is super yummy and they have great service super friendly, SO DON’T BE MEAN :))) super helpful, delicious food, cute little dining area, they have the cutest little rubber duckies in the front🥹🥹 and there‘s this handsome Hispanic guy with a beard and floofy hair he‘s sooooo cute and such a hard worker anywayssss keep up the great work y’all you’re doing awesome yayyy byeeeee!!!!!🫶🫶🫶

Dante’s pizza is hands down the best pizza in Abilene Texas. The pizza reminds me of NY (which I’m from) It has the exact same taste and look. The customer service is also some of the. Best I’ve had anywhere. Al And De are the two workers who stood out for me. Very down to earth and informative of the menu. If you are ever in Abilene come to Dante’s You will leave satisfied and with a smile on your face. They will make you smile.

Dante, takes Care of their customers When a request is put in sadly, unlike Olive Garden or cheddars, I would highly recommend this spot in the mall. I would have to highly recommend the chicken Alfredo too. It is really good thank you Dante’s.

Just finished eating and I probably won’t be eating there again for a while. Ate in the dining room tonight with my boyfriend, and I noticed a few gnats when we sat down but didn’t think anything of it since it’s the warmer season and we were near the trash. When we got our food and started eating, I saw gnats getting on the plates/cups, then looked up to see around 10 gnats flying around us. We even moved seats so we wouldn’t be near the trash can because I thought that was the issue. After moving as far from the trash as possible, we continued eating but still noticed gnats flying around us. Thankfully, an employee had brought us more breadsticks in a to go box and we ended up shoving the food we still had in the box and finished eating in the car. And when I threw our trash away tons of gnats came flying out of the trash can 🤢. The food is typically pretty good and we all know they need an updated soda machine, so those things weren’t an issue. But if they allow the dining room to be THAT full of gnats, I cant trust that where they make the food isn’t the same way. I also can’t justify giving $20-$30 to a restaurant that can’t be bothered to clean the dining area/trashcans enough to be able to eat comfortably.

If you are looking to eat yourself in a delicious coma or have the best food at your party, Dante's is the only place i will recommend.

It was ok for eating in the mall, but not for dine in or take out. We were passing through and thought it was a nice restaurant.

Good food for cheap! The workers are nice and friendly. Very nice friendly atmosphere. Generous portions too. A large slice of pizza and a large drink, under $10

The food was good. This place has been around for many years and the food tasted just like it did 15 years ago. The pizza slices are huge.

We ordered to go. The service was excellent; got the family special (xl pizza, 6 chicken wings, 1 gal tea) and a salad--all well prepared.

Lasagna meal is amazing. Service is fast and friendly, dining area is clean and good spot to take a break from shopping

We live in small town Coleman Tx. and when we need to take a trip to Abilene Tx. we NEVER leave without an Extra LARGE Supreme Pizza and DON'T miss out on their Awesome Garlic Bread ‼

The food was i got a pizza slice, salad and a breadstick and none of the above disappointed. The pizza was a little greasier than i like and the customer service could've been a little better. But i would definitely do back again

This is probably the closest you will find in Abilene as far as New York style pizza. The pizza arrived not quite as hot as I would've liked, but I think that has more to do with the delivery service than the location.

This place is an Abilene staple! If you find yourself traipsing around the mall, and want something fresh and delicious, stop here. They offer more than just slices of pizza. Their pasta salad is delicious!

3.5 on my first visit. I've heard great things about Dante's but never been here. Pizza looked really good. I'm a pasta head, so I got my usual chicken murphy. I love a spicy, creamy, jalapeño filled pasta dish. It was good but not up to par with my favorite right down the street. If ever in the mall again, I'll try the pizza. That's what everyone raves about. If your out browsing the mall, a good place for lunch.

So I was very disappointed that this business which promotes itself on YELP and advertises this coupon WOULD NOT honor their own coupon on a $53 order last night. They argued that it was for take out only. Well I do not see that anywhere on the coupon. Poor business practice, and frankly FALSE advertising.

Nice for a fast pizza when in the mall. I not eat there much but every so often I prefer Joe's.

Good pizza and lasagna. Enjoy their lunch deal for lasagna; big portions comes with a salad and bread.

Trash trash and more trash. Not only did they clearly drop our food. They refused to replace it. The pizza was supposed to be half cheese for my kids and all I wanted was the cheese pieces replaced for them. I was asked to send pictures to some random number and I informed them from a customer service stand point that was weird and inappropriate. The guy on the phone gave me attitude and told me he didn't have to deal with me or replace any of the food that was messed up. The owner was in the background yelling orders at me as well.... Wouldn't recommend this place even if some one else was wasting their money there!!

My go to place for lasagna and the Stromboli. Great when you need catering. I get the chicken Alfredo and the lasagna delivered when I need to feed large crowd.

Thinking and writing about this pizza just makes my mouth water. This pizza is one of the best pizzas that I've ever had in my life. The food is clean and fresh, the pizza is warm and cheesy. 10/10 hands down.

Well, it is time to reveal my secret to my Yelp people. I have a problem. Well, more of an addiction. This addiction is to Dante's pizza. That's right I said it. I would seriously cry more than once if this place ever closes. I grew up in Abilene and it would be such a treat to get a cheese slice if while at the mall shopping with my mom. This was the gateway to my addiction. Over the years my weakness for Dante's grew larger than I ever thought if could. I now live two and a half hours away from Dante's, yes that is the exact time between my house in Lubbock and the men's Dillard's parking lot I use to get into the mall to get to Dante's. I have family in Abilene still. They all know and almost make fun of me because the first thing I do once I am in Abilene is have Dante's. I sometimes even pick it up on the way in, or have my mother-in-law, sister-in-law or brother order it to the house. That is another great thing. If you give them your phone number that you used last time to order delivery they have your previous order saved. What's my order? An extra large cheese pizza with a side of ranch, marinara and 1/2 dozen bread sticks. I get this whether I am alone or with four other people. I am very protective of my order and will order way too much pizza for a group just to make sure I get my fill. Their leftover pizza cold is amazing, it also reheats perfectly in a toaster oven. I have even been known to order a pizza extra just to put it in plastic bags on ice, be taken to Lubbock, put in my freezer and enjoyed on a later date. Let's get to why it is so good! The pizza is perfectly thin and crispy. The slices are as big as my face. The sauce they use is like no other sauce I have ever tasted. It has the perfect amount of special seasoning and herbs in it that keeps my begging for more. The garlic rolls are always soft, dusted with parmesan, and with flakes of fresh parsley. The pasta dishes are still bubbling when they bring them to the table and are swimming in a heavenly mixture of sauce and cheese. The calzones come in a generous portion and browned crispy to perfection and come with extra marinara on the side for dipping. The salads are always fresh and they even have seasonal fruit bowls.I know this all sounds crazy. I tell people about my addiction and their response is: "You mean that Pizza place in the mall? I have never tried it." People over look Dante's because they think, "how good could a mall pizza place really be?". They are wrong for this and it is kind of a life goal of mine to let Abilene folks know it is special. I would never order any other pizza if I lived there. I would have a weekly Dantes night where I would invite my friends over and share the goodness. Lastly, the friendly service. The same 5 or 6 guys run this place and are always there. I think they are finally started to recognize me, only because every time I am in line I stand there with a goofy smile across my face and proceed to tell them I came all the way from Lubbock for this meal. They always reciprocate the smile and make sure to cut me a slightly larger than normal slice. They are running a beautiful business that I obviously care deeply about. Please go and give them a big smile and try their pizza, for me, the addict.

The food is always amazing! I love the assortment of pastas and pizzas that they offer. The staff is always very kind as well! The only reason there's 4/5 stars in because the staff was wearing masks.... they were just below their chins and not over their mouth or nose

Oh yeah!!! It's a cold day and there is nothing in my fridge so I decided to order pizza. I will never order pizza hut or the other usuals ever again. I have found Dante's. I ordered the family special: 1 18in half cheese half chicken pizza, bread sticks, spinach lasagna, coke, and 2 pieces of cheesecake. It was like Christmas morning when I opened the pizza box. Wide eyes and a drooling mouth. The pizza was huge! Everything tasted great. I was so surprised. I'm use to the Abilene let down aka the mediocrity of food here. Everything tasted great but the cheesecake was not so great. Even the service was nice. From the guy taking my order on the phone to the delivery guy, they were friendly and timely. Food arrived hot at my door when they said it would. Looking forward to trying everything, yes everything, else on the menu.

I ordered online a pizza online yesterday for delivery. The pizza was here timely, but it was covered in olives, which I despise. I called the store and there was no hassles, just that that they'd put another in the oven and get it out ASAP. About 20 minutes later the delivery guy arrived with a near perfect pizza with pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, and onions. It's was utterly delicious!

Absolutely fantastic stuffed shells! All the ricotta and alfredo sauce on top! Yummy! Plus I have them add grilled chicken pieces. Deliciouso! I eat this every time we go there. Or order delivery! My husband loves the Calzones and Chicken Parmigiana. Salads are pretty good too. The breadsticks are heavenly! I just love Italian food! I can't get enough! But they do charge for every little thing! And no free refills! Even 1free refill would be nice. And be a little more friendly with your customers. I understand the food business is very, very busy, but you wouldn't be if we didn't keep coming back for more! Greet your customers with a genuine smile and desire to please them.

Pizza is literally 1/6 of an inch and 20$ for a 18 inch pizza. You're better off ordering from pizza hut or dominoes for value and better price. 1$ for a refill and poor service. Cashier was finishing his text before getting my order. The pizza is average and definitely not worth 18.99

My waste line would say that I love lasagna, and cannot get enough of the delicious tasting dish.

I so love this pizza. They have 3 sizes of whole pizza if you want a whole pie. They also have lasagna, calzone, and even Cannoli! Of course they also sell by the slice as well which is great just for lunch. This place is in the Abilene mall next to Dillard's and Chick-fil-A which might deter some people but don't let it! It almost deterred me but he lack of highly regarded Yelp reviews of other restaurants in the area combined with a craving for pizza one night at the Hilton next door brought me here. I come here almost every trip I make here now. It seems to be a local favorite as wel. The prices can't be beat either, the 18in pepperoni pizza is like $14. Crazy I know, so try it out one day if your around this area. I really don't think you'll regret it. So keep up the great pizza guys! I look forward to coming every time.

I was hesitant about trying this place on my first visit to this mall but I got to the mall before the stores opened and came upon this place. It was really busy so I decided to give it a try. I had a combo with a slice of pizza, salad and a drink and I loved it. I think I'm kind of a pizza snob since I've had some amazing pizza across the USA and this pizza was surprisingly very good. I'm impressed. I'd eat here again :)

Horrible UNLESS YOU LIKE HAIR IN YOUR PIZZA they refused to make it right they blame the hair on my family instead of just taking responsibility for the hair they baked into my pizza I will post more pictures showing them with no hair nets and no gloves can we get the Health Department please

I love eating the pepperoni pizza here and the taste is so great. And the bread sticks also everything is great and the workers are great

What can I say, it really is the best .. There simply isn't a better pizza. Super nice people who are always willing to make a meal as nice as possible.

I never stray from their pizza because I love their pizza, but today I got the baked ziti and it is my new favorite. I wish I had ordered it a long time ago!!!

I would give them a negative zero if I could. They must have new management because it's definitely not the same. My husband and I ordered the eggplant parmigiana to eat at home and it was horrible. It used to be our favorite there. It was two crunchy pieces of eggplant with a layer of mozzarella cheese between it. I called Dantes and asked to speak to the manager and he didn't like that I let him know that it was different and it was horrible and I couldn't eat it. He told me they sell eggplant all the time and nobody else has complained. I really wasn't sure why that mattered. I am a paying customer I was unhappy with the food and you would have thought he would offer to exchange it give us our money back etc. etc. So I asked him know why does that matter? I'm telling you it's totally different we haven't ordered it in a while and it was horrible. He told me to calm down and quit being a smart ass! I couldn't believe he said that. So I questioned him,did you just say I was being a smart ass because I'm telling you I don't like the food? I couldn't believe it. He was totally unprofessional and rude. At that point my husband got on the phone, as I had the call on speaker the whole time. It wasn't pleasant! And then he hung up. We will never give them business again. Be ware if you have a complaint with them, as they do not care one bit!! Such a shame because we used to love this place and the people always knew what we liked and were so friendly. They are going down under this new management. Don't say you aren't warned!

Great pizza and boneless buffalo wings. A bit pricey but worth it. The family was very satisfied with everything.

I have tried multiple entrees from Dante's and have yet to be be disappointed! And their seasoned fries are Amazing!!

Ordered delivery to our hotel room. Service and prices were great. Delivery showed up quick and hot. Portions were perfect for our larger family! Might be silly but the gallon option on drinks was probably my favorite part, seems as tho most smaller pizza establishments that deliver dont offer more than canned soda so this got big points for me! The only reason this got 4 stars vs 5, was the chicken bacon ranch calzone I got was tasty but soggy, there was a bit too much grease that the last half was just mush. But I really enjoyed the first half.

New to town. This is the 3rd place we've tried and it was the BEST hands down! The chicken bacon ranch was delicious! And the delivery guy was so respectful and kind! Great all around experience.

I've eaten here once and gotten delivery twice. Every time the food has been great. Tonight we ordered spaghetti and the two gyros meal that comes with chips and a gallon of tea or soda. I picked sweet tea and it was perfect, not too sweet not too bitter. The gyros could have used more seasoning but still got the job done. I love their cucumber sauce! The spaghetti was huge for $6 and came with a garlic roll which is more like a BIG breadstick. Again the seasoning was off a tad but still tasted really good. Everything was hot, fresh, and the delivery was quoted to 40-50 minutes but got here in less than half an hour. Can't wait to try more items from Dante's!

Fantastic NY style (at least in my mind) pizza! Everything is super fresh and the extra large supreme pizza I ordered was only $20 with my military discount. There were eight slices. After two I was completely stuffed, and I can easily eat half of a chain pizza. The cheese stretches and is tasty. Probably one of the two highest quality pizza places I've ever been to.

Kinda annoyed with Dante's as i came to the mall tonight and decided we'd try a cheesesteak. We didn't have a ton of time so we asked how long it took and ordered it to go. The lady at the counter said it would just be "5-6 minutes" we sat there, waiting... waiting & waiting... 25 minutes later I ask what're it will be ready and they said just another minute... well 10 more minutes go by & nothing.... then finally someone brings them. It wouldn't have been such a big deal if someone that worked there didn't tell me it would just be 5-6 minutes.

Their pizza is seriously the best! I would say better than Little Italy, and definitely better than the big chain pizza places! I feel like I am in Vicenza, Italy again!! Thank you Dante's for bringing Italy to Abilene... Oh, and your cannoli's are to die for! YUM!

There must be witchcraft in their pizza. I have never been so impressed over and over. I burn my mouth every time attacking their lava hot cheese pizza by the slice. After trying other varieties of pizza here, my favorite by far is the thin crust cheese. Everything is good here but that cheese pizza with the greasy herbal sweet tomato sauce and crunchy bottom... Treat yo self!

Visiting Abilene and stopped in to Dante's Pizza. Great pizza and great service. Thomas, the manager was very friendly and made our experience that much better. Highly recommend. Anytime I'm visiting my friend's Josh and Sam, we'll be back here!

Really disappointed in the level of quality of food. The pizza and wings both had no flavor and super greasy. Surprised by how many good reviews this place got. I would much rather have dominos and it's less expensive.

Dante's is okay but not spectacular. The pizza crust is hit or miss. Often it tastes like dirty water was used to make it but other times it is a pretty decent dough.

I have eaten awesome pizza from coast to coast. If this is the best pizza in Abilene I truly feel for the locals here. This pizza in the world outside Abilene would be mediocre at best. The pizza was lacking in flavor. In my opinion (which all of this is) and you just must have pizza, just call any chain pizza joint in town it will be as good as Dante's pizza. You already most likely know if you are willing to spend money on the chain pizza and how it will taste. As for there other dishes I have no clue. Good luck on finding good pizza in Abilene if this is the best.

The pizza was delicious! Super hot and fresh! I literally could not get enough. Now my pants hate me. Note to self...next time I eat at Dante's wear stretchy pants!

I absolutely LOVE Dante's!!! The food is delicious every single time. I visit friends in Abilene only occasionally (I'm from Nebraska) and I always make sure to stop by to grab some vegetarian pizza! Plus the employees are so friendly. I'm basically best friends with one of the girls who works there! Definitely stop by if you have the time :)
