Daphne's Mediterranean

I have to give 5 stars because it tastes amazing but I’m going to tell you a little story for the one who reads... A while back I managed a chain of coffee houses and bakeries and they seemed disorganized and inconsistent, every time I was inside someone was making the drinks and the food differently, everyone had their own idea and the ordering process depended on whose working that day... they were also out of a lot of things (again this place is great and I’m talking about a different place, just telling a story). I took some time aside and got hired on by a national chain of coffee houses and learned their processes and rituals, went back to work and applied them to the existing model and it was a happy ending ;) I wish the process at Noon was like at Chipo$&2 for example, just a wish :) Thank you for the food and the great service 👍

Great. Counter serve restaurant. Tasted very fresh and flavorful (and maybe even healthy?). A lot of different toppings to choose from. I loved the Chefs Selections options for people like me who aren't in the mood to "create your own" all the time. Restaurant was clean, staff seemed new but good. I'll be back quite a bit for sure.

I really like this change to Daphne's over what Mediterranean has been offered here in the past. There are a lot more protein options than there were before, including a few different kinds of seafood on the menu. The chicken was marinated much better than I've had here in the past and the sauces were much more flavorful. All in all it's a really positive change and this will continue to be my neighborhood spot for this kind of food.

Delicious! They have such a large variety of flavors and toppings, and great customizable options. You can get a large amount of food for a great price, and the service and quality is always wonderful as well. We do miss the different drink options Vert’s had... not just fountain drinks. One of my favorite places to eat at!

My husband and I have been here a few times and each time it gets worse. Floors and most tables are dirty, trash was nearly over flowing in the same area they keep the utensils and cup lids, also a dirty and not well kept area. All glass was disgusting and covered in handprints. Someone had left a bottle of cleaner out on the counter in reach of customers and children. The employees were not personable or friendly, one of them set my husbands order down mid-order and moved on to a different customer, then they tried to charge us again after I had already paid. I had ordered fries and was told that it would be two minutes - no problem. The fries were done and then just left out on the counter, no one called out the fries or tried to figure out who they belonged to. The bathrooms were dirty and out of paper towels, the tank to the toilet was missing it's lid. This is the worst Verts I have been to and I will never return. I will also not recommend this location to anyone else. It doesn't even deserve one star.

Staff here was completely rude, my husband and I stopped by for a quick lunch and the woman behind the counter acted like we were ruining her day. The bowl I had was “ok” not real Mediterranean food and definitely not worth the price. Two kale bowls with chicken and gross lamb meatballs was over $25. If you want good Mediterranean food with shaved meats, this is not the place to go.

So glad to see additional food options opening in the South Shore district of East Riverside. Verts is a fast casual dining experience with beef/lamb, chicken and veggie Kebap or wrap options. The lamb is very tasty and I'd recommend the Kebap. They also have fresh veggies and house-made sauces. The line can move a little slow, but the food does taste fresh. Plenty of parking and a couple tables outside for seating. Also offer free wifi for guests.

More expensive than most other Mediterranean food. Less authentic. Really slow even with almost no one there. Really not impressed. Sorry I went. Edit: I'm revising this down. The pita is not good. The meat dry and inconsistently hard. The veggies were fresh at least.
