The 22 Best Restaurants in Marrakech, Morocco | Eater

"Housed in a traditional riad-style building, Dar Moha sits beside the palace Dar el Bacha, once the home of the pasha of Marrakech. The historic neighborhood makes chef Moha Fedal’s modern approach to Moroccan cuisine extra surprising. While his creative work may not satisfy purists, Fedal incorporates Andalusian influences to produce something special. Don’t skip the salad course, composed of 14 rotating salads made with raw and cooked seasonal ingredients. Combined with a few warm appetizers, the salads are enough to constitute a light meal, but if you’d like a heartier main, the sea bass and prawns in chermoula are delicious. We enjoyed an unforgettable lunch at Dar Moha, where every bite felt thoughtfully crafted. Nabil, our gracious server, guided us with inspired recommendations that elevated the entire experience. The cuisine was exceptional, the service impeccable—truly worthy of five stars. Surrounded by a beautiful, enchanting atmosphere, the lunch felt both elegant and warm, a memory we’ll gladly carry with us.

Beautiful hidden spot! Dinner by the pool in stunning architecture you wouldn’t expect from the outside. The tasting menu was great with traditional live music filling the evening, birds chirping softly in the background and a magical, relaxed atmosphere. Our waiter Nabil was super friendly with a big smile. Perfect Marrakech vibe!

The ambience, service, and live music were excellent, but for the price of the set menu, I expected more from the food. The starters were decent, but the entrée was quite small and underwhelming, and I still left hungry. Given the cost, I probably wouldn’t return, especially since there are significantly cheaper options in Marrakesh with better-tasting food

We stumbled upon Dar Moha by chance while walking by and it ended up being one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The setting is absolutely stunning, the service was amazing, and our waiter Nabil was incredibly kind and attentive. I highly recommend the Chicken Pastilla and the Tangia Marrakchia. It was unforgettable experience all around!

We had an incredible Christmas Day dinner at Dar Moha, what a phenomenal dining experience! We sat out in the pool area and were looked after by our super attentive waiter Nabil, nothing was too much trouble. The lighting and live music (but still easy to have a conversation) made this a meal to remember for a very long time, thank you so much. We cannot recommend the Dar Moha enough.

This place was so great ! Nabil took great care of us and explained the dishes and made recommendations as requested and such a good server. After the food we of course got some mint tea which is good for digesting food. We had the lamb shank tagine which was good but the main and best dísu was the tajine of Morocco. The atmosphere here is excelent.

This restaurant is a must go when in Marrakesh. The service and food was outstanding. The interior of the riad was so beautiful with music to match. Very, very nice evening !
