Darby's B&B

This is a lovely b&b; great location (central and safe), quiet, full of beautiful antiques, and the proprietors are extremely accommodating and kind. The breakfasts could keep you full the entire day if you're on a budget. I would definitely stay here again. Ask for rooms on the upper floors; on the ground floor you're right on the street, which is still quiet but you have to keep curtains closed for privacy.

Definitely the best B&B experience I had in year. A beautiful house on walking distance of the city center in e very quiet neighborhood. Very friendly and welcoming people. And please do not skip the breakfast in their Victorian style dinner room. A great place to stay. And when the weather permits you can even enjoy a drink on one of their terraces overlooking the city.

Very nice experience. Wenche was a wonderful host. She made great suggestions for dinners and activities. Breakfast was simple and delicious. I will come back. Perfect location near the harbor. Beautiful artwork.

What a beautiful place to stay and with such warm and welcoming hosts! The B&B is beautifully furnished and the dining room is spectacular. We had a delicious breakfast and some very interesting chats with Paul and Wenche. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, I wish we could have stayed longer! Aimee & Thomas

The only reason for not maxing the room score was that the bed was a bit hard and some sound came through the door from the hallway. Very nice room. English style with the touches from someone that has lived in the far East for awhile. Very charming. Central location Wiig a few minutes walk to stavanger town centre. Breakfast was very good and charming. I felt like visiting the family. Highly recommended over the nearby chain hotels.

We had a wonderful stay at Darby’s. Wenche and Paul are great hosts you feel at home. The house has much history and it is very well decorated, with lots of objects from their travels. Our room was cozy with twin beds in an old style but a modern bathroom. We also had a nice balcony. The breakfast is served in a beautiful room and you have lots of choices, Wenche makes sure you have what you desire. The last day we had to leave at 4am and Wenche prepared a breakfast to take away for us! You also get recommendations and information if needed. We really enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave after 3days. We totally recommend the stay at Darby’s :-)

Great B&B! We received a more than warm welcome even though we arrived a little early. The hosts are very kind and love to give advice or just have a little chat. Room was splendid, as well was breakfast. Highly recommend the place.

Lovely B&B, very friendly and helpful owners. Located in a quiet street to ensure a good night's rest. Breakfast was nice, good selection offered and plenty to see in this room that was clearly decorated with a lot of attention and love for art and antiques. Downtown is just a 10 minute walk.
