A very pleasant lunch experience that will tempt me back again. Darcie & May Green has an interesting menu that was speedily and well executed for my first eating visit there. I had the sweetcorn fritters with poached eggs but there were lots of attractive things on the menu. Been before for drinks in the open on the roof bar, which is very nice too when the weather is good in London. Service was good too.

A unique and interesting concept for breakfast or brunch. A floating restaurant located in the area of Little Venice in London. The menu is quite extensive and interesting, and the service is excellent. However, prices are on the higher side. A reservation is recommended.

Beautiful experience! Cool customer service, food was great! Location is great just be aware that as per Jan 24 2026 there's a construction ongoing in Paddington station, just besides the canal.

Darcie & May is a lovely, unique dining experience in the Little Venice area of London. My party ordered a variety of dishes - some burgers, asian chicken salad, chicken parm and a tandori salmon, plus some bevies. Everything was fine, service was good. You knew you were on a boat on the canal but after awhile, the novelty wore off and we had an enjoyably meal. The restaurant wasn't that busy but I imagine if were, the seating may be a little tight. Otherwise, if you in Little Venice, you should enjoy a meal here.

Great coffee (flat whites are perfect). The atmosphere is hit or miss- we went a few times during our stay in Paddington and it's not necessarily the restaurant's fault- some days the canal was just gross and had litter in it that you could see from the rooftop dining area. It's cool to be eating on a barge though, right?! There are plenty of clearly marked vegetarian options. I only had coffee and breakfast items during our visits in late July. Never had a wait. The staff was friendly.

Went for a couple of drinks. Margaritas are tasty and on a special deal (10 GBP) Monday to Friday 😌. For me the 3 stars go to having to order everything over the QR code regardless of personnel being on the spot and available - and then charging for service and offering tipping options… a real shame to lose the human touch that makes all the difference! The spot is very lovely though and great for a pit stop. Haven’t tasted food.

An absolutely divine brunch—easily the best breakfast I’ve had in London. The presentation was as impressive as the flavors, with vibrant colors and thoughtful plating. The coffee was a standout as well—bold, smooth, and expertly brewed. I had the smoked salmon royal, which was rich and perfectly balanced, while my wife’s fancy bacon roll was indulgent and packed with flavor. If you haven’t tried something new in a while, these dishes are well worth the leap.

An unusual experience having lunch on a barge. The food was good and service was very pleasant. Prices very reasonable for London.

Great location and good service. A little pricey but not surprising. The burger meat was way over cooked so that spoilt the meal a bit.

This place is the coolest. My daughter walked by it and wanted to eat here because of the brightly colored boat. It's pretty fancy for dinner and they don't have a kids menu, but it's absolutely delicious. My kids split the chicken Parmesan and it was huge. I got the chicken salad and margarita and it was refreshing and delightful. The entire experience was excellent, except leave kids at home if you can.

Great food and service. Lots of vegetarian options that are really tasty (no, i am not surprised). The restaurant is on a houseboat (no movement at all) and nicely decored. You should enjoy the terasse when you can (we could not due to the rain). Would recommend the reservations, especially for weekend brunch. Diner menu is short but covers meat, fish and fully veggie-based options. Cheesecake is a must-have (can be shared...if necessary).

Great little place to sit a while, have a delish coffee and people watch. Located right outside of Paddinton station on the canal.

Tried to get a coffee from the May Green side - which is the coffee bar. They were taking to-go orders from the bar, but insisted that if we sat down we needed to use the QR code. Did so, ordered two coffees but before I could pay it wanted name, address and email. Would not let me pay without. I'm not giving my email and details to a random business just to get a coffee.

Canal boat originally built as a passenger ferry for the 2012 Olympics in London. Then converted into a restaurant. Menu doesn't have a lot of choices but everything is very good. We shared the charred corn "ribs" and tandoori salmon. Service was attentive. The only negative is that it's crazy loud inside because of the limited space.

Very nice environment! Dishes are fresh and nice! Definitely try the sea category to explore salmon and tunas! There's a free cake with white chocolate and apple chip in the end!

Came here for some brunch with my boyfriend and it was super cute. The vibes are cute and calm and I love that it's right by the water, literally ! Food presentation was cute and I had the most delicious chai latte. Food portions were a bit small, so if your a heavy eater I wouldn't recommend. Overall, great experience !

Love this place! We were staying next to Paddington Station and this was a short walk from our hotel. Cute cafe barge, great coffee and breakfast.

This is a ridiculously cheerful & charming restaurant. Sitting on top of a boat, soaking in the sunshine while I was in London for a few days was a very unexpected experience! I had the vegan sandwich & it was delish! Unexpectly fresh & full of umami, acid & greens. It pairs nicely with the raspberry cocktail that's almost too pretty to drink. The staff was busy but friendly. Just make sure to ask for Wi-Fi if you're a visitor because you order via your phone. I recommend a visit here & afterwards you can stroll down the canal to see the other restaurants, boats or parks along the way. I loved finding this oasis in the the busy city.

I agree with one of the comments below - I'm shocked this place has so little reviews! A bright colored floating restaurant in central London with brunch options fit for the Queen herself...what more do you need? A fully functioning bar, you say? Well, yes they have that too! Not gonna lie, I originally chose this place solely for the novelty. I thought it would be a unique experience, and at the very least, we'd walk away with a cool memory and an Instagram worthy photo. Well, well, well...the Darcie and May Green far exceeded my expectations! Delicious food, friendly staff and an overall great experience. I ordered the 'Benny Boy' which is an Australian take on Eggs Benedict. The creamy lemon hollandaise, acidic sour kraut and salty ham made for a mouth watering combo. My friend ordered 'The Bondi' which was equally delicious and had something called charcoal toast that we thought was pretty cool. Overall, would absolutely recommend if you're near Paddington!

Open-air dining on a boat. Rainbows and flowers everywhere. Bottomless prosecco. What else do you need in a brunch? Sir Peter Blake outdid himself with the design of this Australian-influenced eatery, situated right outside of Paddington Station. The restaurant is split into a bar and dining area on the bottom decks, with one big outdoor seating area on the top deck. Reserve ahead on the weekends for bottomless brunch or a romantic dinner on the canal. You can rent the space out for a wild brunch or evening as well. My friend and I ordered the sweetcorn fritters and shakshuka for our mains, then the banana bread for dessert. Absolutely delicious! Though honestly the prosecco was the main reason we went (managed to get through a humble 3 bottles in 140 minutes). Highly recommend for a brunch with your girlfriends on a sunny day this summer!

We unexpectedly ended up at Darcie Green this morning while looking for another restaurant (which we never found). The breakfast here is by far one of our favorite meals in quite some time. The fancy bacon roll was an absolute joy to eat - just perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!

I can't believe this place only has ONE review?!?! I know the international crowd doesn't use Yelp as much but I was seriously shocked about that... I spent the most amazing bottomless birthday brunch here and would buy another plane ticket to come back from the States in a heartbeat. I was looking for a place to do a proper brunch during the week and I was BEYOND NOT DISAPPOINTED. For about 40£ you will get bottomless prosecco or mimosas, with a savory AND sweet dish. This is very hard to find in London on a Wednesday. The food quality and plating is on par with any fine dining establishment that I have been to in the States. Honestly I have spent twice as much and gotten much much less. I had the Baked aubergine fritter and the coconut French toast. I would say a solid 5 stars for both. It was the perfect portion for a savory dish and a lovely sweet spurt of goodness to round it all out. That is always the battle in orchestrating the perfect brunch experience. The service was great and as a server I really do pay attention to this part of the dining experience. Celeste and Ricardo were a lovely addition to my birthday extravaganza and it really was a perfect experience. I never felt pressured to leave and was completely enjoying my time as if I was in someone's home. I couldn't have asked for more. The prosecco didn't stop and the glorious food kept coming! On top of all of that the location is SUPER convenient off of Paddington Station and literally right out front on the water in the most charming boat/canal atmosphere. A Santa and brass band passed by and that was epic in its own right. Would love to experience it during the summer as I hear they open the rooftop space and that just looks like a dream. Just do yourself a favor and make this a part of your time in London!

Hostess was rude and cold.. website says they save 50% of the restaurant for walk ins but got turned away to a basically empty restaurant because they were fully booked at 3pm when it was 2:20 Will not be coming back horrible customer service they need to change their website

Made a reservation at the wrong Green location. Server/host was still lovely and accommodating. Restaurant is in a boat on the canal and has a vibrant, fun atmosphere. Fancy bacon roll was out of this world!! My favorite breakfast in London

Super cute interior, super cute service! Thanks again for the awesome german skills :) Loved the avo on charcoal sourdough! Although I was a little let down by the fact that there's no side granola. I'll be sure to come back with some company for the bottomless brunch next time!

Delicious food, great vegetarian options, fresh ingredients. Super cute place in terms of the space and design. Highly recommended! Had a perfect experience there and I am considered "tough crowed". I almost never put reviews but since it is so well deserved, and they had none, I had to!
