"Located in the heart of the city’s Puertochico district, Daría (named after the grandmother of owner-chef Nacho del Corral) shows the utmost respect for top-quality ingredients, offering guests what it calls “cocina de sabor”, extolling the full virtues of culinary flavours. In this compact space on two floors it comprises a bar area on the ground floor and a handful of tables upstairs. The contemporary cooking, which features a hint of fusion and an impressive tasting menu, is centred fully on organic products (vegetables from the Ontañón farm estate, and fresh fish from the Cantabrian Sea)." - Michelin Inspector

A wonderfully different dining experience in Santander. Each course was an excellent homage on a different cuisine Turkey (humus) Peru (ceviche) Japan (maki) and Mexico (tacos). Each dish easily recognizable, but artfully reinterpreted.

Truly a unique experience in Santander. The food experience was absolutely wonderful. A "tasting menu" of sorts where they recommend to pick some dishes each and they are prepared for sharing. The dishes we went for were all wonderful, some stood out more than others but you could tell the standard and experience went into the food preparation. Service was also impeccable. Atmosphere relaxing. Really perfect. The only tiny recommendation I would have is if possible they can ask what order you would like dishes out. Can help a diner end their meal on the highest notes. However this is absolutely minor. I fully recommend Daria!

One of the best meals of our 3 week tour of northern Spain and France.

FUSION CUISINE AT ITS BEST. Daría creatively combines influences from all around the world, such as Spanish, French, Japanese and Peruvian. The menu is eclectic but coherent. Everything we ordered was outstanding. My personal favorite was the "huevo frito crujiente": a poached egg, breaded and fried, then served with a truffle parmentier and a mushroom duxelle. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful, as is the restaurant's interior design. Expect to spend around €35 per person. Daría is doubtless one of the best restaurants in Santander.

A unique culinary experience. It’s truly a fusion between local good and asian food. The decoration is simple but curated to the detail. Even the utensils are a fusion. Here are some pics. I would truly recommend the ceviche and the rice. I know I will think about this plates 🤍

Thank you for having us! This restaurant is awesome. The food and the interpretation of the dishes is at its best. The wine selection is also very good and friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our dinner! Need to have a reservation but its totally worth it!

We had heard great things about Daria, which is why we chose to have lunch there. There were two of us, and we ordered four plates along with a profiterole for dessert. I have to admit, the profiterole was absolutely delicious! The ravioli we ordered it was served with just one piece and tiny which felt rather stingy considering the price I found the service at the restaurant to be unfriendly(female staff) While I don’t expect a personal friendship with the staff, I would appreciate a professional and courteous attitude without unrelated "personal stories."
