Came yesterday with my husband, as we live in the are and we wanted to try this place out. It's located in a very cute spot, and the building sits on the corner of a V-section Street, which adds more to its uniqueness. It is not a large place, about 12 tables on the inside, and maybe 5 or six tables outside.
The menu had a lot to offer! My husband ordered their Cubano (ham, roasted pork, cheese, pickles, and habanero aioli on a ciabatta roll), and ordered their southwest wrap (I think that's what it was called), and that had roasted pork, lettuce, black beans, cheese, avocado in a 10 inch wrap. We also got some chips and tea to go along with our meal.
The wrap was HUGE!!! Picture a healthy burrito! HUGE!!! If I would have known it was going to be that big, I would have passed on the chips. However, I ate the entire thing, because it was that good! The wrap was pressed, so it had a nice toasted texture to it. The pork was not dry, and it was not drenched in sauce like some other places cook their pork. It was also shredded finely, which gave a great texture to the inside of the wrap. The lettuce was crisp and fresh, but it was the black beans that added that extra taste. I highly recommend you try this wrap (again, I can't remember the name!).
My husband said his pork on his Cubano was also cooked perfectly, shredded finely, and he too liked the fact that it was not dressed in sauce. He smokes pork all of the time, so he is very picky with his pork. He said the habanero aioli has a little kick, but it wasn't enough to deter him from the sandwich. He was extremely impressed with the bread, as he said it was fresh, and he didn't have to tear into it like other breads.
Overall, we find a great sandwich joint that has a lot of options! We both want to go back to try their soup and other sandwiches! The staff was friendly and helpful, as well. I totally recommend checking this place out!
