They always play great music. It’s loud but not too loud- you can always have a sit down drink and have a conversation easily. There’s tons of stools along the bar and dining tables available as well. The bar is always stocked, they always have seasonal cocktails, specials and happy hour from 4pm-7pm! Oh and you can order Sizzle Pie pizza from next door right at the bar!!!

Pretty much the best bartender ever. He was super friendly and had a bunch of suggestions for good places to eat. The music was great. The art on the walls was great. The pizza next door was great. If I lived in Seattle I definitely be a regular here.

Some of my favorite pizza in Seattle, though there are better options nearby. However, Dark Bar has great happy hour prices and quality craft beer that makes it very worthwhile. The music is generally loud and heavy but sometimes not "dark" enough for a "dark bar". Overall it is a fun place for happy hour in Capitol Hill and centrally located near lots of other fun spots.

Not typically a fan of Bars. That said, I went for awhile with some friends and had a couple of drinks. Servers are fun friendly people, the drinks are good, and they serve sizzlepie. While maintaining a nice atmosphere that isn't too crazy or wild. Noisy at times, but a nice manageable kind that shows friends are together having a good time. Nice for those who are looking for a calmer cozy place to grab a drink with friends. Not a huge selection of seating, be warned. But a nice inviting atmosphere.

Cheap Beers, excellent wall art, and a great atmosphere really help make this hole in the wall "skater spot" really feel cozy and inviting without being too divey. Its also great that they have a window into sizzle pie next door, so you have access to great pizzas without leaving the bar at all!

So, I came here a few times last summer and it was okay. The cocktails were great. They are mediocre right now. I dig the atmosphere, it’s never super crazy busy on the Bar side. This is connected to Sizzle Pie next door, which is often really busy on the weekends. I come in and order my pizza at the bar sometimes, and have a few drinks. The way-out-of-my-league door girl/security chick Sierra is always super rad. She remembers I love drowning my pizza in Cholula Hot Sauce. There’s always Tapatio and Siriracha available but not always Cholula. I asked ONE time for this sauce from her and now every time I come in she makes sure I get it without even asking. It always feels good to be remembered at your favorite establishments. Customer Serviced. Thanks Dark Bar and Sizzle!!!

Me and a friend ran in to this bar not expecting anything and when we made it inside passing through the security it was something to remember. This place really appeals to the hardcore heavy metal lovers. But ironically enough it doesn't look trashy. Like any other bar they have all the selection of liquor and beer with some additional heavy metal drinks. The bar tenders look the part but very nice. I gave it a four just because of that. I am no fan of heavy metal what so ever we just ended up here somehow.

Surprisingly good cocktails at this METAL music themed bar. The pass through window to the pizza place next door means you can have a slice while drinking to your favorite METAL music.
