I recently had lunch at Daroco and, overall, it was an enjoyable meal. The restaurant has a beautiful aesthetic and, when we visited, was very busy, which created a great atmosphere.
To start, I shared the burrata with tomatoes, which was absolutely delicious. The flavours were phenomenal, and it was the highlight of the meal. For the main course, I opted for the Carbonara. Whilst it was enjoyable and well-flavoured, I did find the pasta was slightly too thick and al dente for my liking.
Overall, the meal was enjoyable, but I did feel it was fairly expensive for the experience. The service was friendly, but as they were busy, it was slow at points. It was an enjoyable afternoon, and it feels like a good option for lunch or dinner if you’re in the area.
