This was a quick walk from Stearns Wharf and our hotel. You can watch them roast their own coffee here and it smelled amazing! Definitely come here!

This coffee shop is on the corner of Yanonali St. and Gray Ave. with very limited parking. Adjacent to Tamar Restaurant, they operate out of the same building and share seating space. During my 1st visit, it seemed unclear if Darts' customers could use the seating space, so I ordered takeout. I had their 'Hot Latte' with an 'Everything Bagel'. Both tasted amazing! The latte was smooth and creamy with a perfect balance of milk and espresso. It's such a great feeling when the right barista handles your drink! The bagel was perfectly toasted, yet so soft inside with the right seasoning. The menu lists one price for each specialty drink, so I was not able to get a larger latte. I was served a 12 oz drink. I almost passed on this experience because I couldn't find parking and the line was out the door. So I got out of my car while my husband drove around and I waited in line. Surprisingly, the line moved quickly. Service was friendly and welcoming. The Café is cute, with a soft feminine aesthetic. Clean and organized. Overall, I had a good experience here and enjoyed every sip.

Wonderful coffee shop, nice people and of course- great coffee! The burrito was mostly rice, insanely hot. I’d probably skip it next time as it just lacked real flavor.

Dart Coffee Co. has really good coffee, and both locations offer totally different vibes. The harbor spot feels calm and coastal—perfect for a slow, relaxed sip—while the open-concept location is brighter and more energetic. Different atmospheres, same consistently great coffee, which makes it worth visiting both.

In a town full of exquisite coffee shops, Dart sets a very high bar. Their espresso drinks are delectable. You can taste the freshness of their beans, and their efforts to hand make each beverage with care. Their pastries are solid, though nothing to write home about in my opinion. It is important to mention though, Dart is very popular. You might find yourself waiting upwards of 30 minutes for your caffeine supply. Might I suggest, get a boost of energy elsewhere before committing to the line.

Much more than just a coffee shop. Incredible home made and locally made pastries. Hot breakfast sandwiches and other breakfast items are equally great. Lunch too. Close to a public parking lot which is a big deal in this area.

We got coffee here twice in our recent visit to Santa Barbara. The matcha sunrise was the most delicious drink ever. Our second visit they were actually closed and the owner gave us coffee anyway which was very good. I really appreciated how the company was involved in supporting the community and wasn’t afraid to take a stand against some of the things going on in this country right now.

Very good coffee and empanadas. Tried the lavender latte, hongo & quinoa vegan empanadas. Lavender latte: 5/5. Really delicious. Hongo: 5/5 Wait times: Reached at around 10:30am, there was a small line but things moved quickly and we were able to get a seat inside in about 5mins. There is additional seating across the road from Dart coffee!

Great little coffee shop in Santa Barbara! Highly recommend their Beach Brew. Right mix of creaminess, coffee taste, and flavor. Service was helpful in going over the menu and our coffee came out almost right away. Inside of the shop is really cool and I like how they decorated the ceiling with cool looking lights all over. Plenty of indoor seating, open air views with big windows. Worth a visit as you start your day off exploring SB!

We were in SB this weekend for the Santa Barbara 100 bike race. I had almost a whole day to explore while waiting for my bf. to finish his 100 and I spent quite some time at this coffee shop during the morning on Saturday. And when my bf's race was over, we came back here again in the afternoon. Let me tell you, the hype of this place is real. The coffee and matcha was so good! Matcha was great quality, unsweetened with oat, so good! perfect blend and even if you sit long at the coffee shop to read or whatnots, your iced matcha oat latte will not separate for some strange reasons like some other coffee shops. Their coffee, from specialty lattes and cold brew to a decaf iced americano were all yummy. But you know what made me absolutely LOVED this place? Is their pastries!!! Oh EM GEE!!! So I was there early in the morning and the line was still out the door already. Service is super slow like other reviewers said but I wasn't in a rush and had nowhere else to go. I went crazy and ordered their mushroom empanadas, one plain croissants, and two of their perfect sea salt chocolate chips cookies. Their cookies started my sweet cravings again! So sad!! I've been trying to be good and haven't had much sweets cravings but my gosh, you need to try their cookies, they are if not, THE BEST! Perfect chewy soft texture and it's thick enough to hold in your hand. I was so glad I got two because when we came back in the afternoon, their counter of pastries barely had few bagels left! Everything was GONE! if you want your pastries, you need to come here early!! The shop is super cute and everyone was so nice. Beautifully decorated. They share the same seatings for Tamar, cool concept. Would def come again and DEF highly recommend this place!!

amazing coffee and matcha. This place is super cute and the service is great. you have to try the cortado with their koatji oatmilk. It is a little sour because of the fermented oat milk, but it is so lovely and provides the right amount of drink for your energy needs! As for the matcha lemonade, how refreshing! this is the first place outside of Japan that I have found to really add in A LOT of matcha and make the drink the true matcha color and flavor!

Stopped by to try this place and ordered a vanilla latte. It was good. Beware of the long line.

2.5 rounded up to 3 stars - Great customer service and aesthetic is on point. Our drinks however were awful. So so so watered down and we got whole milk . Friendly staff but nooooooo latte should be watered down. It's a latte. Milk . So ...Why!? Porque? Why the 3 and a one because ... the service was great , cute place and it's a local biz. I hope they see my review and work on the ratios for their drinks. Or was it an off day. Idk but i would not rush back .

Garden outside gives it so many points. So magical. The baristas were nice too! I got the matcha lemonade which was super good. Solid would come again!

Loved it here!!! We got a cold brew and a matcha latte and both were good! My matcha was milky, but I saw another girl order a strawberry matcha which had a super nice green color, so it might be worth taking your chances because the taste of the matcha itself was good! The regular black cold brew was very strong so we added a splash of heavy cream. The space is so nice for socializing or doing homework, and it's a joint space with a shawarma spot, I'd come again!

First time here... meh it was alright. I tried their dirty chai tea latte with oatmilk, kind of a busy. It tasted like milk and was too spicy.

I didn't like it! maybe I ordered it wrong but I got an iced churro Cortado and it just tasted like a really strong espresso shot. I didn't taste churro or even cinnamon at all. The flavor was bitter which also was off putting. it's a small coffee stall paired with a food place and it's pretty crammed in there. My husband was checking out the food place and watched one of the employees sneeze into his hand and continue cooking. Gross. Probably won't be back.

10/10. Was a hater because of how trendy it was but that first sip of the oat milk vanilla iced latte with honey syrup was healing. Vibes were cool too.

Popped by here on our trip to Santa Barbara - Ordered iced lavender lattes and tbh they just tasted like milk. I didn't notice any lavender flavor whatsoever and the espresso was weak. The croissants and baked goods we ordered were good though!

Cashiers and baristas are super nice! Coffee here is pretty consitent - their beach brew is great. They share a space with Tamar which opens in the afternoon, it can get a bit crowded with seating because of that but lucky they have some extra seating outside facing the parking lot as well as across the street in the "Dart Garden". Dart garden has lots of space and has their own WIFI as well. I always see people here doing some work from their laptop or reading books.

We enjoyed our experience at Dart Coffee Company so much thus morning that we stopped by Dart's second location. I enjoyed the Oat Milk Latte. The pastry selection was also excellent. Service was fast, friendly and efficient!

Although they always have a line, don't be discouraged because it goes by so quickly. Ordering with the barista is quite quick and easy and we only had to wait a few minutes for our drinks to be prepared. We did receive our donut right away and it was perfectly fresh and sweet! They are busy so we didn't want to stay and try to find a table but instead we took everything on the go. My husband loved his vanilla latte and I was lucky to get a sip with how quickly he enjoyed his drink. It was the perfect balance of coffee with a hint of sweetness. I enjoyed my seasonal lavender matcha as well. While it didn't have a lot of lavender to it, it was still an enjoyable matcha. Either way I was quite happy!

The coffee is delicious, thoughtfully handled and prepared, not to mention roasted on site. The breezy open space is shared with Tamar, which deserves a review of its own, but I can advise to show up hungry and ready for a hearty lunch. It was busy during my visit and rightfully so, as they seem to be doing everything right at this location. From what I could tell there's great emphasis on connection and creativity, displayed in the hung painting behind the register, by artful postcards from the same artist, and by their coffee/ tea selections that highlight origin and process. My espresso was their Yanonali blend (Guatemala, Peru & Ethiopia) served with optional sparkling water as palate cleanser. The extraction was on the longer side while retaining a satisfying velvety texture & sweetness; bright but carefully balanced fruity acidity with a clean finish. No notes really, aside from maybe one nitpick: why not provide a tiny spoon with my fancy little coffee board? Anyway just some thoughts on an outstanding coffee experience, in a town known for its good coffee shops.

This is a cute coffee shop that shares space with a small restaurant. We came on a Sunday and it was quite a challenge to find parking. We ordered an espresso over ice which was perfectly fine and an iced decaf mocha no ice extra mocha. The drink came out full of ice initially. I pointed this out to the barista and he politely remade the drink for me. The drink was fine. i had read reviews of d collect mocha syrup but i was not particularly impressed. no pup cups here fir my boy Fergus as they have no whip cream at all. I was a tad disappointed in the experience as the reviews had gotten my hopes up.

Was in Santa Barbara in an area called the Funk Zone and I really wanted a coffee so I decided to walk here and get one. The inside of the place is so cute and there is another restaurant in the same space . It has plenty of seating and a cute little bar seating where you can open the window and sit and look outside and get some nice breeze. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was ok. It was just like drinking milk and syrup couldn't taste the coffee in it .I could tell my the color of the drink that it needed more coffee. It still is a nice little spot.

Drove by in the morning and saw a long line but skipped it. Came back around 4pm and tried their matcha latte, and glad I didn't wait in that line for a milky matcha that you can barely taste unfortunately. Their churro cortado was good. Friendly service and picturesque spot.

Stopped in this morning while driving through the Funk Zone and noticed this hip, nice looking coffee shop. Saw they had breakfast burritos, and found a spot to park. Line moved slow but staff was very friendly. Ordered an Americano and unfortunately it was pretty watery and I could hardly taste the espresso. Not up to snuff for modern quality coffee shops in my opinion. The real disappointment was the burritos. Clearly they are not prepared on site or at least not fresh. They totally overheated it and the tortilla was crispy, dry, and the whole thing was too hot to eat for a long time and lacked flavor. It was a bacon and egg burrito but it was mostly just beans and rice. Super underwhelming.. my son who loves burritos bailed on his less than half way in. Sadly won't be stopping here again. Management please make whatever moves you need to get this spot on the level it should be! Thank you.

Nice hipster coffee shop in the funk zone. It was crowded and popping! The coffees were hot and cold and really good. We had two Americanas. They have food also...., Decent quality and good prices. They did not have Splenda. They had stevia and sugar only.

Dart Coffee is one of my favorite cafes ever. I do not live in Santa Barbara but every time I visit I have to stop by Dart. It is beautiful decorated with lots of fun flavor choices. Even their regular unflavored drinks are yummy. I love the iced June Bug latte and my boyfriend loves the hot honey latte. The only down side is the space is so small and they share it with a restaurant so seating can be difficult!

Dart Coffee is such a cute and cozy spot, perfect for a relaxed morning in Santa Barbara. The coffee is delicious, and they even do latte art, which is always a fun touch! The atmosphere is charming, with space to enjoy your drink. The food was also good, but if you're getting a burrito, just know they don't have much egg. I think a bit more would have made them even better.

All good. Allows dogs. Coffee, Latte as expected. 2 days of successful visits. Almond croissant seemed great.

My bf & I decided to take a day trip to Santa Barbara & this was one of the spots that kept being recommended. Luckily there wasn't a line when we got there, but a long line formed right after. Love the open air concept. This is a good spot for those who like a strong espresso flavor. I got the June Bug latte with oat milk. Glad the lavender wasn't overwhelming. My bf got the Beach Brew but it wasn't sweet enough for him. We were fortunate to find street parking across the street.

Came to dart coffee on a Friday afternoon! Service was attentive and helpful. Coffee gave me the little caffeine boost I needed though lacked the sweet flavor that I usually taste more of in a vanilla latte. Burrito was large and filling - tasty but a bit bland. I had the pico de gallo burrito and it came with sauce on the side. If you need something quick , it's a good option!

Cute coffee spot in the middle of the Funk Zone. I ordered an oat milk matcha latte. I give it one less star because the matcha tasted bitter. Not sure how good the quality of their matcha is. Came back another time to try their coffee. Coffee wasn't bad, but this wasn't the ideal place to bring my laptop in the morning because it was freezing. The whole place is opened up. So even with warm clothing it's tough to sit in there for long. Definitely a grab and go spot for the wintery days!

I did do some research about Dart Coffee in Santa Barbara Funk Zone before coming here, it was about a 10 mins. from my hotel. There was a line waiting outside the door, so I waited about 20 mins, just to order and pay for order then another about 20 mins. to get my order, this is a small place, so you're moving a lot getting out of people way waiting to get their order, there is a restaurant with then small Dart Coffee Co, the tables and chairs are for both eateries. I ordered the june bug lavender latte with oak milk it was pretty good creamy and not too sweet. The staff here were nice with service a smile.

Solid latte with fresh roasted on site beans. The line ebbs and flows but even with a short line there will be a wait because they are slow. There were no pastries when I came this time, but premade burritos they heat up. I deducted a star because they need a deep cleaning. There was a substantial amount of dust on the wire that holds the ceiling decor and also on the light fixture above the pink dart board.

I can see why there is so much hype around this place. The line was super long as well as the wait, the place was packed, but the coffee was so delicious. Definitely worth the try if you are in the area but don't be surprised if you are there for a while.

Not really good coffee if consideration isn't given to to temperature of milk used. Seems like just another coffee shop with some specialty drinks. Special cortado I ordered was so hot I had to wait 15 minutes just to begin drinking it. From the outside it appeared to be a good craft coffee shop.

A fast-moving, non-stop line, sometimes going out the door. Pleasant staff. The coffee was excellent, and I loved the pink theme. The ambiance was lively. While there aren't designated seats, they share the space with Tamar restaurant.

Fast and easy service it was pretty busy but I got an iced vanilla latte and it was v yummy would recommend stopping by and grabbing something here

I had coffee with my brunch in the morning but I realized I needed more coffee. Drift is super duper cute. It's attached to a cute little restaurant. The baristas were friendly and I got served quickly (and you did a great job on my latte art it looked fantastic ). They make their syrups in house which is important to me and my vanilla oat milk latte was delicious. Will re-visit for sure

The appointed hype here was the food. This is ranked soley on that, not the coffee. The pasteries missed the mark. The doughnut tasted like something maybe from Dunkin Doughnuts. Sweet and commercialized. The texture wasn't airy and fluffy, it was rather firm, but the size was moderate to large. Wife and kids were underwhelmed by their basic bagel with cream cheese. Really on point with Costco. The tables were small and densely packed. Zero kid friendly. Definitely appropriate for students who want to avoid the crowd or retired rich folks who want to sit on their Kindle. Line was long though.

Beautiful place with a lot of seating and a beautiful ceiling! There was a line outside but it moved quickly and drinks were served at a timely manner as well. I got the cold brew for my boyfriend and the churro cortado for myself. Both were really yummy and drinks i would get again!

Cute coffee shop with delicious drinks! I got matcha with oat milk and honey sweetener and it was a nice balance of flavor. Really liked the pink aesthetic. I went a bit earlier in the morning so it wasn't too busy, but either way the service was friendly and fast. The prices were reasonable as well.

This was our go to coffee spot as we were moving our son to Westmont! The coffee was rich in flavor, and clean. They also did a great job making a drink for my son who has a nut allergy.

We ordered a vanilla latte and a chai latte. I wouldn't order either one again. The vanilla latte was lacking in vanilla flavor. Perhaps they forgot it. The chai latte was too spicy for our liking. The place itself is really cute. I love the hot pink lids for the cups. Fresh flowers were on every table.

My favorite coffee shop in Santa Barbara! The flat vanilla latte I had was the perfect ratio of sweetness, milk, to espresso. (Accompanied with beautiful latte art.) The pastries and food are amazing. The burritos (2 for $24.00) were big and filling. I'd ask for 2 salsas since they are bit dry without them. But I like that they aren't greasy. The tortillas are different, flakier, but good. I also had the best chocolate chip cookie ($5!) ever! Vegan options! My daughter loved her vegan burrito (make sure you ask them to mark it if you order more than one non vegan.)

Catie and Sofia serve up great coffee. I love that there is no surcharge for having plant-based milk. Thank you so much the coffee and food. Offerings are excellent. There's something for everyone.

Very busy popular spot in the funk zone. Lots of people sitting at tables on their laptops and socializing. Small and quaint with a handful of tables for seating. The line went out the door but moved pretty fast. There is also a shawarma restaurant inside if you are craving something more than coffee. Ordered the Americano which was nice and strong. Only thing is they don't carry Splenda. I like that they don't rush you out so you can study or just hang out with friends.

What adds a superb layer of satisfaction is you get to enjoy your coffee in the garden across the street. Be sure to check it out. Very nice environment . Service is friendly.

Super cute coffee shop shared with a Mediterranean food cafe. The de or is lovely inside and has seating facing the outdoors without windows for some fresh air. The staff was friendly and happy. Would definitely come back
