I give one star because management was on point and resolve the issue. However, my waiter was very sassy, bothered and disrespectful. He made a point of letting me know he wasn't prepared for all the traffic that was there. Honey you're a waiter at Dave & Buster's. It's always traffic.
Strike 1
When we arrived, my daughter was at a party so my family and I decided to have our own table because we weren't a part of the private party it was for kids We also stated that we weren't a part of the party and we have our own tab along with other parents that had their own table and their own tab. Also he ASKED IF WE WERE APART OF THE PARTY... so we were definitely clear on what was going on in the beginning
When we got ready to check out, I had to wait 20 minutes just for a tab When he walks up to me, he ASKS me what was your order!!!
Strike 2!
When I told him my order, he handed me a tab for almost $150 with a gratuity tip for a large party Per my earlier statement it was clearly established that we weren't a part of the large party. He also put a mandatory tip on my order which I would've gladly paid if he walked over and asked if we needed refills or if he made sure that we were OK once he took the order we never saw him again.
When management came before, I could even get the story out, they knew the employee that I was talking about Which is absolutely ludicrous because clearly he's a problem. I wanted to put him in a corner because he was sassier than my eight-year-old granddaughter. And the attitude was by far and not needed.
When we got home, all of us had stomach aches, so I'm not quite sure what was going on, but the only thing we all had in common where the fries
Like I said, shout out to management who did take care of it ,they comped a meal so this gentleman could receive a tip that he didn't deserve AT ALL . That's Dave & Buster's loss because that man deserved absolutely nothing absolutely nothing. He didn't even bring out our food. I would've tipped the server before I tipped the man who took my order And didn't even care to know what it was then attempted to overcharge me and forced me to pay a tip that he didn't deserve.
Stop making excuses for your employees because you're short staffed and stand on business This is a multi million dollar business and I expect more. If the machines were down. He should have swallowed his pride and asked for help.
Strike 3 your out!! Just lost a spending customer and trust me I wasn't the only one mad you have a lot of people who will drive right past your establishment now
