Times Square Chain Restaurants, Ranked - New York - The Infatuation

"Come For: Flabby wings and indulging your inner child. At the Times Square Dave & Buster's, you ascend up an escalator to inner child heaven. Here you can fuel up on chicken tenders and spend your money on wheel spins and other arcade games in exchange for tickets. Those tickets won’t pay for your dinner, but will pay for things like M&M-flavored lip balm, or new headphones. Bring a group of friends (or children), grab some jello shots, and make use of the complimentary hand sanitizer if you're planning on eating. The food here is, sadly, not good. The pretzel dogs are strangely sweet and chewy, and the wings come out of the fryer all flabby. Take your prize and go elsewhere for a meal." - bryan kim, willa moore, will hartman, ciera velarde, molly fitzpatrick

Dear Mr. Dave and Mr. Buster, I must say you have the finest chip and salsa in all of the land. I was intrigued by the bland flavors that entered my mouth. They must have made the chip and the salsa from scratch by how long the wait was, but boy was it worth it! I washed this exquisite meal down with a lovely blackberry margarita that I waited an hour for. The service was amazing. I loved when I got charged an extra $69! The atmosphere was glowing. Thank you Mr. Dave and Mr. Buster for an amazing Wednesday night!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pure fun for kids and kids at heart! We came to Dave & Buster’s during spring break with 5 little kids and 4 big kids at heart — and let me tell you, we had an absolute blast! From racing games to claw machines, basketball to Dance Dance Revolution (my personal favorite!), every corner was packed with excitement. The arcade had something for everyone, and we were all running around collecting tickets, chasing high scores, and cheering each other on like it was the championship. Watching the kids light up claiming their prizes was the cherry on top! And when we needed to refuel, the food and bar area was super convenient — perfect for grabbing snacks or a quick drink before jumping back into the fun. Whether you’re 7 or 70, Dave & Buster’s brings out the inner child in everyone. Totally worth the visit — we’ll be back for round two!

Came in here Saturday afternoon it was packed but surprisingly the service is smooth and we got a table to dine in right away, the cheese burger is fresh and the coleslaw is really good, we definitely enjoyed our meal, the customer service is friendly and she attended on all our needs, we get the special dine and play and it really saves us money and get to play more on the arcade.I’am impressed that all the arcade game is working, my kids had so much fun on this Dave and Busters I highly recommend this place.

Always Fun at Dave and Busters! 🎉 We came here to celebrate our son’s birthday and he had a great time! They have a new Minecraft game there and he played that for a while. I noticed that they raised the amount of tickets you need to accumulate for some of the prizes. We haven’t been in a while to this location but needing 1200+ tickets for 80% of the prizes was not a thing previously. There was a lot of staff onsite however, they’re young kids and were not very friendly, helpful, or approachable. Even when we went to cash in tickets the gentleman didn’t even speak to us…

Update: We came back for my friends birthday and we had a really great experience. We can definitely tell they've been making improvements to this location which was nice to see. We ordered food for lunch and the food came out hot and was really great. The service was good too. (The cajun pasta was phenomenal) We stayed for a while to play some games. The app was functioning like it should and most of the games on the floor worked perfectly fine. The games were not in a state of disarray which was great to see. There was maintenance stuff visible on the floor fixing the few machines that needed attention. They even gave me a few free plays because I had to wait for them to fix something. Overall we had a really great experience and I really loved the food. We will definitely be coming back and I am glad he gave this location another chance. :) Original post: Came here for my birthday and loaded my digital card on my phone ahead of time. When we got there the app wasn't working and the staff told us it's through a 3rd party and we would have to purchase tokens again, we could not use the tokens on the app, and we would have to purchase tokens again. So we ended up spending money twice. Half the machines were broken and took my tokens without even letting me play the game. We got a moon lamp prize with our tickets and when we got home, the button to turn it on was already broken and now I have to drive all the way back to see if they will exchange it. We also had a lot of trouble getting drinks at the bar. A lot of the bartenders would walk right past us despite our best efforts to get their attention. Don't think I'll be spending my birthday here again. I'm so disappointed at the entire experience and a little embarrassed that I dragged my friends here.

Google
I really enjoyed myself. The whole staff was very accomidating. We ordered food. The menu had a lot more choices since I was here last. I was impressed. Everything was good. Hung out w friends. Played games. My only complaint is that you took out the skeeball! That's my favorite game. I won a prize with the points I had. I'm glad the points don't expire. I would definitely come back.

Google
My kids had a great time. They enjoyed the games and the atmosphere. As a mother, I was pleased to see an area that had disinfect wipes so I can wipe down areas they used. This was important to me as I have three school aged children. Staff were friendly and quick to assist. I feel like the food could have been better but that did not stop me from having a good time. The reason I say this was my steak was over than how I wanted and the kids cheeseburgers were dry Overall, this did not stop us. Cleanly environment, gracious and kind staff, and plenty of options to choose from whether it's the menu or the many games that anyone can pick and play with their friends and family!

Google
We went to D&B late. The good thing was that we were seated quickly. The food & service were good. The games were so-so. Seemed like most of them were heard towards small children. I haven't been to D&B in over a decade, so I'd love to see a better balance in the kind of games they have. Like the sit down racing/shooting games. They were rarely available...

Yelp
We had a pretty good experience here. We have been here quite a few times and the Protein Bowls never disappoint. The food was good. My son ordered the chicken tenders and fries as he always does and I noticed that the portion of fries given was less than it has been the previous times we were within the past year. Other than that, the gamers were fun and there's a lot of new games that have been added to the arcade too. That's a pleasant surprise and one that Js welcome. I'd recommend this place to any family with kids, a couple or husband and wife or a hang out with friends or family. It's a good time out.

Yelp
Lots to choose from, big, clean, and overall pretty good, however the game credits are expensive and the tickets buy mostly junk, which is disappointing for children. Ate at the restaurant there and it was fine - had a burger. Service was good. Ambiance is noisy overall, especially on a Friday night.

Yelp
lol did it again! Came here because my kid was yelling to go here since we were at Yardhouse and remembers us getting him ice cream here... Can I tell you all of the right side of the place was out... the games weren't even tagged out, Just broken and for you to figure out, and it was just eery darkness because the overhead lights were out... I don't understand why the games are always broken here. This is Friday afternoon and everything is just in shambles. Half the games that were on when you swipe they turn red and go to "network error/call an attendant" after you swipe. So depressing. My kid got on the hungry hungry hippo game and the orange hippo he jumped on was missing his head. I just had to laugh. I don't even care about all of the credits we lost on other things, I'm just more upset that gaming places like this are going to be gone for future generations because nobody cares. This place is same level chucky cheese or worse now. Oh let's also keep that tech room door shut so kids can't get in there by accident and also do something with that human crane game besides storing ladders, thanks from customers paying $200 for crappy food and broken games.

Yelp
Came on a Sunday night for my little cousins birthday. (This is my 2nd time at this location.) This time, there was a worker on a mic who was promoting a wheel they had for prizes. The location seemed to have surround sound so it was very loud and bled into all areas of the dining room, PLUS he was screaaaammmmingggg every time he got into the microphone. With all due respect, it was definitely not pleasant to sit through a dinner hearing that. & just when we thought it was over, he hopped back onto the mic screaming and making voices which became unbearable at a point in time. For that reason alone, I probably won't be attending on Sundays out of fear that that is a regular occurrence. Definitely ruined the experience a bit for me. Other notes: the bartenders were timely with attending to me & so were the workers attending to the games. One of my cousin had issues with being charged twice etc and they promptly came over and gave him his credits back. Food was decent, as well.

Yelp
I went to D&B to play games. I couldn't get my electronic card to work so I went t to the front desk. The associate was helpful and let me know that it was because my card was set for another D&B. Within a few seconds she corrected it and I was able to play games. It was a Saturday morning so it was crowded but not so much that you couldn't move around. I didn't eat at this D&B but I have eaten at others and the food is usually pretty good. I will definitely go back.

Yelp
Had fun playing the arcade games. I haven't been to a Dave & Buster's in a min and it was a fun date night. We went on a Wednesday night so they have half off for games. We didn't really have their food but seems like not a lot of vegan options. They have a bar also if you want to have a drink. The prizes are decent. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
This review is strictly for the food as my family and I enjoy the arcade at Dave and Buster. We decided to grab lunch here after having my son play at the arcade for a bit before heading out to Costco. We ordered fish and chips and chicken parm pasta. The fish was surprisingly good but the fries were cold which was pretty odd considering it had just came to the table. The chicken parm pasta dish was a huge disappointment. We actually ordered that as a safe dish thinking it's pretty hard to mess it up but we were so wrong. The pasta was extremely mushy and the sauce was flavorless. The chicken was just okay but was on the salty side. Honestly, the whole dish felt like it was frozen and then microwaved. We just shared the fish and chips and ate the chicken. The pasta was left untouched. This is our first time dining at a Dave and Buster and it will definitely be our last as well. We will return for the arcade though as my son enjoy it.

Yelp
Always love coming here. Fun games, delicious food and great prizes. And a bar for us adults doesn't hurt either.

Yelp
Came here on Saturday night with about 16 people for my birthday. When i called on the phone to find out about the establishment (as i have never been) the woman on the phone was not the most pleasant. Just kept reiterating "we are so busy" .. yeah lady, i get it. I just want to know if i should reserve a table? Can i just walk up to the bar? Whats the deal. Turns out the place was not that busy at all for a Saturday at 8pm. Plenty of seating near the bar and we got drinks no problem. Everyone was playing games and drinking and having a great time. There were definitely plenty of people but waiting a minute to hop on a game was no big deal. Unfortunately, some games did not work i noticed there were a handful, but overall it was good. Didn't have food so i cannot comment on that but the bathrooms were clean when i went in around 11pm. Great time - I'd come back.

Yelp
Recently I took my son to a birthday party at Dave and Buster's. He was running around the arcade really making me get a good work out. He had lots of fun playing the games, and cashed in his points, for a great prize. Will he want to come back, of course, will I? That I do not know. We were at a party so we spent some time in the party room. The room was quite large, and there was a great variety of food. All of the kids really enjoyed themselves. I'm sure I will be back, as this is Dave & Busters and I have 2 kids.

Yelp
It was a fun evening with colleagues. I joined them later, but when I reached, the lift was busy, I waited close to 5 minutes, then took the stairs, reached the main floor, and was looking for someone to direct me to my friends - I found no one. no issues, I found them. they were ordering drinks, we got our drink, played 4-5 rounds of pools, and ordered some snacks, which took ages to come. There's plenty to do besides eat and drink. we were there just for a drink, snacks, and games. it was Monday evening, so not that crowded. decent selection of games, ranging from skeeball to Candy Crush to shooting games The good thing is - it's open till late night- that's a good option for people like me.

Yelp
I wish I could write two separate reviews. One for the food, one for the service and one for the games. I'll start with the positive. The general manager was very kind and helpful. Our actual servers did not care about us being there and ignored us any chance they got. Very monotone, you can tell they did not want to be there. The food is mid, probably won't be eating the food, next time I come. The games were a lot of fun and all of them worked well. We have a fun time. The ambience is great. But the servers and food were disappointing.

Yelp
I've loved going to the ol' D&B for about two decades now and they never really disappoint; I mean, how can you go wrong with booze and games, really? The fact that they now have half-price days on all games is definitely a major win to stretch the buck without shrinking the wallet! As far as this specific location, it's pretty nice. I haven't experienced any negative issues. It's clean, packed with the funz (not to be confused with the Fonz, unfortunately), the games are all in pretty good working order as well. I haven't had the food here, but that's more due to my diet/lifestyle (note: there is not an abundance of vegan options, though I am not above a couple servings of fries!) Their prizes are pretty decent and seem to rotate every so often which is nice. It definitely beats the old days of having to keep hiking up your Volcom or Hot Topic shorts because of the 75 pounds of quarters in your pocket. That being said, I do miss carrying the actual paper tickets sometimes. The feeling of tearing it off the machine, folding it into a fat stack and looking like a baller... Those were the days kiddos. Those were the days...

Yelp
I absolutely love D&B. It's a perfect blend of adult and kid's activities. I have been here many times to count and finally remembered to do a review. Upon walking in you have a long flight of stairs to climb. If you can't do stairs they do have an elevator. I went with my family so I had older people with me this time. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful I'm so mad I forgot her name. She made sure I got all caramel in my churro order and that's great because it comes half chocolate half caramel and I didn't want ANY CHOCOLATE. The food was amazing as usual. They have some fine chefs in the back. I know it was good because my mom had not one complaint and cleaned her plate. She had the Manchego Chicken and was very satisfied. She is am amazing chef herself so I know I did good bringing her here. I was more nervous for her food to be great because I know she is even more matricular than I am. My son had the Parmesan Chicken and that also particular eater enjoyed his food also. My brother and my cousins had burgers. They were huge All American Burgers. Al in all D&B was a win for family night. After the

Yelp
Took my son here for a boys day out. He absolutely loved it! I must say I was impressed with how clean and large this place was. When you first enter you walk up about a million stairs (good exercise - although you can opt for the elevator). You check in and buy a card. The amount of games was endless. They had a large selection of arcade games, VR games and billiards. The best part - a full bar so you can partake in some booze while the kids play. We went early on a Saturday so it wasn't too bad. When we left, around 2:30ish there was a wait...so be prepared. I can't imagine how it is on a Fri/Sat night... They have a full service restaurant and plenty of TV's as well. Worth a stop in whether you have kids or not...ENJOY!

Yelp
Overall, given that it was a Saturday night, the Walt time was quick. Our server, Alex, was extremely attentive and willing to answer our questions. In general, our desserts were delicious and warm. My only issue was the bathrooms; the spacing between the door allowed people to slightly peer into the stall which posed some comfortability. Otherwise, the location was clean and has extremely helpful staff!

Yelp
Disappointed with service I recently visited D&B Wayne and was looking forward to playing the pump it up machine. This is my go to place to this rhythm game called Pump it up. However, I was disappointed to find that the card reader was offline and preventing me from being able to play the game. I brought the issue to the attention of the staff but unfortunately, I did not receive a satisfactory resolution. Despite indicating that the machine is completely fine and just the card reader is off no timeline was provided for when the issue would be resolved. Initially did not come to check the machine and just stated that its broken and he is doing something. When asked for a manager they refused to call them. When a tech finally showed up we tested the pads and sensors was completely fine I asked if he could bring it back online. He stated "I can't do it man, we can't just stop what we are doing to fix the machine". When asked for a time frame he could get to it replied "I don't know we can't just stop what we are doing" and simply walked away. As a regular customer and I am disappointed with the lack of communication and transparency regarding this matter. It's frustrating to be unable to enjoy a game that I was looking forward to playing, and the lack of resolution has left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope that D&B will take my concerns seriously and take action to ensure that their equipment is properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner. While I have enjoyed my past experiences at the establishment, this issue has left me with a negative impression. Overall, I would not recommend coming especially if you are coming from somewhere far until the issue has been resolved. I hope that my feedback will be taken into consideration and that improvements will be made to ensure that all customers can enjoy their time at Dave and busters.

Yelp
Front desk wasn't pleasant and didn't offer a smile, almost like they were doing me a favor. Food portion size was small for the price and took forever to come out. The waiter named Sauce gave me attitude when I asked about the food variety Not coming here again. The one in Palisades Center is much better
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
Compared to NYC location, Staten Island location, and West Nyack location, this probably is the biggest one in the area as far as play area is concerned. It also seems cleanest since it is the newest of the bunch. Although for watching games and drinks, I prefer the Nyack one with their huge screens. I don't really order food because I had not so great experiences in the past but I gave it a try since it's been a long time. I was pleasantly surprised the food actually tasted decent... Definitely not how it was couple of years ago. I will definitely keep trying more things and update my reviews. With that said, could the management team add more interesting prizes to the prize center? I haven't seen a change in months and even years. Back in the days, there used to be PS/xbox/Wii, game disc's, and other items that's just more exciting to look forward to... then an Oculus and other mediocre stuff.

Yelp
Went here on a Saturday night around 6:00pm. We started off by sitting at the bar and ordering drinks and appetizers. We ordered chicken tenders, French fries, and drinks. Food: the chicken tenders were good. Same as you find anywhere else. They were just a bit small. The French fries were really good. Perfectly cooked and they had garlic on them. We ordered another batch. Drinks: the Jack and cokes were good. The glasses were small and had a lot of ice in them which wasn't what we expected but the drinks were well made nonetheless. Just wish regular size glasses were used and less ice. Service: we sat at the bar and waited several minutes to finally have a bartender tend to us. The person I was with even went to the restroom and returned prior to us being tended to. It was clear the bartender was tired, she chugged a Red Bull like it was water, which I can understand. So maybe just an off night. Note: they have a policy where you are only given one drink per ID. Make sure if someone is going to the restroom they hand their ID over before leaving to save time. Atmosphere: This place is for kids and adults who want to act like kids for a few hours. It's loud, lively, and packed with kids and families. If you need a place to go for some random competitive fun, this place will do. Lots of games. Rating note: I knocked a star off for the service at the bar and one more for the size of the tenders and the drinks.

Yelp
My daughters took my son there for a play date and they were NOT very friendly! She went super early so it wouldn't be packed but the machines weren't all working and when she went to inform the workers about the machines not working she was told to look for a technician so she had to walk around to find one only to be told oh it works. So she walked around to look for another one who then walked over to take a look at it and said oh it seems to be working but it took her money didn't work and didn't give her point or let her play. SUPER disappointing to her little brother and her pocket!!!!!!!! As if going there was cheap!!!!!! I contacted Dave & Busters but of course crickets............. they already have her money.......

Jason S.

Yelp
This part is strictly about the service. So I came to here on a Friday night after playing with some of the games me and my friend got hungry. We sat down for about 25-30 mins waiting just to get a server. None of the servers wanted to work, the host wasn't even in the front, and when our food finally arrived It was cold. I will not be returning to this location and I would not recommend everyone working there was ENTIRELY RUDE expect one worker Tas she was very helpful

Yelp
Always have good time in D&B. Many different games for all the age groups. Chips are in the card, tap it to start the game. Winning tickets automatically goes into the card. Much more convenient than before.

Yelp
This is a very below-average Dave & Busters. Given that we're in Covid-19 times, they aren't really handling social distancing, sanitizing and safety procedures well. For starters, the arcade room was insanely packed, and there was no crowd control at all. There were no cleaning wipes, sanitizer or really anything at all to wipe down equipment after people finish using them. Mask usage wasn't enforced either. There were a lot of people walking around with their masks down or completely off, which is something that may create a health hazard or make people feel uncomfortable. The food was awful. I was really disappointed with the whole dining experience as a whole. The food was frozen, overpriced, and you get charged for every little thing. When I looked at the menu, most of the food that looked decent was sold out. All that was left were tenders, some burgers and fish. I'd never order fish from an arcade so I went with the tenders and even those weren't good. Make sure you pay attention to what you order too because if you accidentally forget to add something that may cost $1-2 extra, you're going to have to order it separately as a "side" and pay around $3-5 dollars for it. My best advice would be to eat somewhere else and then come here for the games. Bring gloves and/or hand sanitizer for personal use.

Yelp
My experience at Dave & Buster's was decent. Me and some friends decided to visit for a fun night. We put our name down for a table to eat and had to wait 30 minutes (around 8pm). They did not check temperatures or provide sanitizer. They do block off every other booth seat to enforce social distancing. The waiters were very nice and welcoming. They have a website where you can order and pay through your phone which I like because it's less contact. The place looked very clean, including the bathrooms. Since I had eaten not too long ago I got the kids size chicken tenders and fries. Only my order arrived like 10 minutes later (weird). This was annoying because I don't want to be the only one eating. The portion size was pretty good and the taste wasn't too bad but not the most enjoyable. Fries were pretty salty. I tried my boyfriends ribs and they were really good, surprisingly. They actually slid off the bone. I would recommend it! As for drinks I loved my Jamaican Mai Tai. It tasted like they did put a good amount of alcohol in it. The drink was not so big though (as pictured). I did not like the Dangerous Waters drink. I preferred mine way more. They put way too much ice in both drinks. When we were done we went to purchase the game card. Me and my boyfriend got the $75 which has 550 chips. This would have been enough for both of us to play ALL the games. Unfortunately, the place was pretty packed (around 9pm) so we couldn't get to it all. The games we did play were fun. They had a variety of games. I would have liked if they provided wipes to clean the games though. Also, I'm not sure if they follow a certain capacity but it seemed like a lot of people around each other at once. For that reason I would probably try to go earlier.

Yelp
Came with my boyfriend, sister and her boyfriend. After about how hour we went to the food court at the mall to eat. Around 8:30 we came back to continue playing. We were told we couldn't come in because it's 21+ we showed our ID. Me and my boyfriend are 24 but my sister and her boyfriend are 15. Apparently the rule is you have to be 25+ to bring in a minor. How does this make sense. They are missing out on a lot of business and they are causing a huge inconvenience. In the 2 min interaction with the security we saw a bunch of other people get turned away. Will not be coming back to this location

Yelp
Lots of options for most ages, everything from VR to pac man and everything in between. Enjoyed spending a good portion of the afternoon here! The only downside was that some machine are almost 9 tokens but definitely not worth it.

Yelp
I've been here twice now (once for a b-day party on someone else's dime, the second for my own kids' b-day) and I dig it and obviously more important: my kids are fans as well. (Wait till they have to pay their own way and their opinion might change.)  Most recent visit started as we scaled that epic staircase to be met by a lady at the counter that was NOT happy to be working.  The place just opened minutes before and she was miserable and did not want to lift her head from her smartphone.  We tried not to bother her too much and continue with our adventure.  Food - exactly what you'd assume/expect (chicken fingers, sliders, fries, etc.) and it's all well-executed (although the amount of sodium is ridiculous on all the items).  Alcohol - solid beer list, never tried anything else.  (And our server couldn't have been any cooler or helpful when we were eating/drinking.)  Gaming - from Skee-Ball to air hockey to all sorts of other over-the-top games (and a few virtual 'rides')... I definitely had a blast and it brought me back to when I was a kid (when most games were still just 25-cents except for Dragon's Lair which would set you back two quarters).  As a family of four it's also cool that there's a handful of games that we could all play at the same time (not to brag but I did win when playing Halo and Tomb Raider against the rest of my clan).  Rewards shop - after accumulating all your points (everything now goes onto your card so no more having to walk around with thousands of little paper tickets) of course you need to peruse the walls and apply theoretical physics on how to get those most bang for your credits. ("Well, I can get this knockoff lava lamp and this candy that's shaped like a toilet bowl.  Or maybe yoga dice and a pack of Pokémon cards. Or...")  One of my kids picked up this strange fan (that looked like it was designed by Dyson) and we got home and it didn't work (but I really didn't want to hike up in the rain to make a stink about it -especially if I had to deal with that cranky gal at the front again).  It ain't cheap by any stretch of the imagination but it's a great way to kill a few hours and I think it made my kids' 12th b-day memorable.

Yelp
The food was extremely underwhelming. Everything we ordered was trash. The fries were cold and stale. The boneless wings tasted like corndogs, and we waited for our drinks over 20 minutes each time we ordered (I'm talking about coca-cola and water). The waitress was super nice but that wasn't enough to sway me. Our empty drinks and plates stayed on the table the entire night. It's safe to say I will never be back here again..

Yelp
Really expensive food that's not good. Huge bar thats always empty. Go next door for better food options. Games are pricy.

Yelp
Arrived for our reservation early and we're seated immediately. Bonus. No sooner do we sit down than food was brought out. We hadn't ordered anything yet. Turns out the host seated us at someone else's table; they were off playing video games. Ok, problem resolved. The food that we actually ordered came out in a reasonable time, and was mid- at best. Not terribly impressive. My daughter had a hamburger from the kids menu that looked like it barely had enough meat to be legally called a hamburger. "Truffle fries" were just regular fries topped with the same butter, garlic, and parm mixture that goes on wings. Grabbed some play cards from our waitress (there is a discount if you get them at the table) and asked for the check. Check came and the tip suggestions were based on the total with the play cards! I'm sorry, but I'm not tipping $50 on a $75 meal. Took the payment tablet out of her hand and calculated a "custom" amount in my head plus a little bit for swiping the cards for us. The arcade is mostly riding and adventure along with midway games designed to con you out of your money in exchange for little trinkets. To be honest, I got bored of the video games in 30 minutes. Basically, the food is meh and the arcade is ok at best so I am struggling to find a reason to go back. You're better off finding a good meal somewhere else and going to a legit arcade.

Yelp
Came last night and thought to myself whyyyy don't we come here more often! Such a fun, chill date night spot. Food/drink: 9/10. The spicy Korean wings were delicious. Great sauce, not dry at all and the temperature was perfect, almost fell off the bone. It comes with celery and carrots, you can add french fries for $1.75 if you want which we did and the fries were so simple yet delicious too. Voodoo Pasta- whatever. Basic pasta but the crispy chicken was good. Don't get this if you don't like cherry peppers or ask to take it out bc there was a lot. Mango berry Bull- sooooo good! Never thought I'd get such a delicious cocktail at a place like D&B. It's vodka, Red Bull, strawberry infused ice cubes. Must try!! Tasted very fruity and sweet (how I like them) but less on the alcohol shot so I added an extra shot to it at it was perfect. Service: 10/10. The guy Taylor behind the bar is the best. He was so quick so nice and hooked it up! Play: 7/10. It was packed with a bunch of kids which I liked it better back when it was majority adults only. So we were waiting for a lot of the games, and it was pretty crowded. And also the prizes sucked. But a fun time nonetheless. 4 stars because of this. Return? Definitely and hopefully sooner than waiting a whole year again. Recommend? Definitely. this location is one of the largest in the area, it's super clean, and such a fun night!

Yelp
Went here for my 21st birthday and the service was incredibly slow. Spent most of the night waiting. Worst part was that we wanted to get our last drink at 11:25, they called last call at 110:30, and at 11:35 the bartender told us it was closed as he was rudely walking away from us. His name was Jason, and the entire experience with him was incredibly off putting and rude. However, the person named ChaCha at the gift shop was incredibly kind and helpful! Michelle was our waitress and was very friendly and fun, we had a great experience with her as our waitress. if it weren't for the horrible service at the bar this would be a 5/5.

Yelp
I visited Dave and Buster's Wayne for the first time yesterday (8/19/2023), and while most games were fun and the ambiance was great, I cannot say the same about their service. First of all, the games - Some of the games were malfunctioning (particularly the ring throwing one) and we could not find anyone around to fix the situation. No one was around the gaming areas. Secondly, and this really got me upset - The food service. I am a grown 27 years old woman, and I was denied alcoholic drinks because my government ID which clearly had my picture, name and birthdate, was expired. First the server checked my ID and then he called the manager over to check it as well. And they refused to serve me cocktails. Not only was this a very frustrating and upsetting experience, I was embarrassed in front of my peers to be almost 30 and not being able to drink! I understand that it's a company policy (yes I looked it up), but my ID being expired does not change my birthdate! Not to mention that no one in my party was even remotely underage. I think the management should really look into this matter and amend the policy, so people can go to there and enjoy the games rather than being treated like they did something wrong and end up having their day ruined.

Yelp
Overall, this Dave n' Busters's is kept very clean, everyone properly ID'd, and also the food is of a good quality, highly recommend the buffalo wings and fried pickles. Only thing I do need to note, however, is that I was never given water for over 10 minutes after I got my initial drinks that it was supposed to come with, and I had to ask a selerate server to get it for us. Other than that, I would also note that there were quite a few games that I did want to play but were left out of order, one of which did not even have the option for me to swipe my card. But I would give this place a 9/10 if I could, and would gladly come here again.

Yelp
Unbelievable. My friends and I, ALL 17, went in to try and enjoy a night of fun and games. When we entered and climbed up the VERY LONG stair case we were asked if we had identification. Very confused I said I did have identification on me but asked why. They said we needed to be 18+ to enter. Very confused I asked if we needed to be 18 to play the arcade games. They said that to play the games I needed to be 18 or have someone 25 with me! What kind of policy is this. I understand that the bar is integrated but if we aren't even sitting at the bar I'm confused why the games are reserved for 18+. It seems to get alcohol we would need to be IDed again at the bar. This is a major flaw in policy and the staff we was not welcoming at all.

Yelp
Second time coming here and wow...it took almost two hours to get our food because the kitchen lost our ticket (what we were told but our server and the hourly manager) although we received our appetizer in a timely matter... Appetizer-cheese curds were delicious. They also gave us chips while we waited for our food after they informed us our ticket was lost/misplaced. We asked for dip and that didn't get to us by the time our food came. Main Food-chicken avocado sandwich, my aunt enjoyed. I had the chicken tacos which were subpar, I wouldn't ordered again, I've had better food at D&B. Dessert was on the house, we ordered the churro & ice cream which was very delicious. Churros were warm and soft with some containing fudge inside and others have dulce se leche. Would definitely ordered this again if we return. Overall food was good, service could be way better. Free chips, dessert, and a coupon for $20 free game play with the purchase of $20 for the mistake on someone's end...by the time we finished eating we weren't in the mood to play games for long so we just purchased the cheapest token package which is $12 for 60 chips-used it up within 3 people and ended our night. We usually spend our time playing the games but after waiting nearly 2 hours for our food we were over it. Our family enjoys coming to D&B every now and then usually going to the Times Square location and now to Wayne but after this experience I'm not sure if we will be back to this location.

Yelp
Your employees are all miserable. I went in with my 18+ friends and one of our friends did not have their physical ID. From the start, Tan and the black woman with the glasses immediately had a repulsive attitude and sighed obnoxiously when we went up to the front desk. They refused to explain the policies themselves, as if that is not your job? When our group decided to leave, she said "don't piss me off." Extremely unprofessional wow. We attempted to file a complaint with the manager on the phone but both the same front desk employees that we already dealt with picked up and kept hanging up on us when we asked to speak to a manger. When we finally got a hold of them, they impersonated being a manager and still maintained their nasty attitude. Their nasty attitudes made our friend cry and we will never be returning. Hire better employees.

Yelp
Terrible service. The lemonade was too tart. We had to ask for a change to water and the supervisor or manager took so long to get us the drinks. The food came and still no drinks. I had to walk over to him and get them from his hands myself because he was talking to a co worker. The waitress never came back to check on us. Food was ok. The wings are small and dry, the shrimp scampi flatbread was not as good as the description made it seem.

Yelp
I was actually at this location for a birthday party event a friend held and it was a lot of fun! The food was good (it was the Mexican food party package - everything was a bit spicy, but still good). They opted for a cash bar and my biggest complaint was that there is only the one bar here so we had to go to that (and often wait a while) to get drinks. Also, the official policy is that all minors need to be accompanied by an adult at all times but that was definitely not true in practice. There were a LOT of children and teenagers here literally *running* through the space. And plenty of irresponsible young adults being generally obnoxious as well. We were there from 7pm to around 11pm and it would be great if they had some sort of cut off at a certain time where under 18s are not allowed in the arcade space because it definitely cut into the enjoyability. The drinks were super good. I was a little worried because the cocktail menu had zero prices on it - this is a massive pet peeve of mine and it drives me crazy. A customer should ALWAYS know how much something is before they order it. We stuck to the Perfect Patron Margarita and it was 10/10, large, and I found out eventually, they were all $11.95. Reasonable, good value, surprisingly affordable as far as a night out goes. After this experience we will actually be considering another D&B location for my companies holiday party as I plan it (but our office is located in NYC). I'd love to come back here one night for date night with my husband. I hadn't been to D&B in over a decade and never since I turned 21, so I think it would make a fun outting.

Yelp
Been to this location a few times. Every time I come my experience gets better and better. On the last time here, I threw my daughter a birthday luncheon. Prior to setting this event I did stay in contact with their party planner Lorena. She was extremely helpful explaining packages. She made the process of booking an event a breeze. The best part was that she was easy to contact and when I left voicemails, she was quick to respond. As I arrived I was walked over to our table. The table was set with just the right decor for a teen party. This included utensils, plates, napkins and a birthday placemat. For food we ordered the all American platter and kids chicken tenders, fries, pizza bites and fountain drinks. Food was your typical food chain style and flavors. There was so much food we brought back an abundance of left over boxes home. The waitress was extremely patient and quick. The games here are just like the games at every other Dave & Buster's. I recommend adding the unlimited video games for $5. I look forward to returning and booking another event here!

Yelp
Arrived for a birthday party at noon. Service was untrained and unprepared. Had to ask for straws, water, napkins, forks, plates for shared appetizers, serving spoons. There were 10 of us. Food was good, not great. Salads were extremely lightly dressed. One meal was completely missing for 10 minutes. Arcade is big and loud. Some games not working. Saw repair staff working but they left tools ( wrench, screwdriver.,.) all over the place. Sanitizing wipes scattered about. Otherwise NO Covid precautions. We wore our masks.

Yelp
My group goes into the location to be greeted by two unprofessional and hostile front desk employees. "Tan" is his name and some other lady with glasses and braids. They ask for ID, and one friend showed a picture of ID which was not acceptable apparently. I called the location multiples time to complain formally which I was then greeted by the same two employees who continued to impersonate the manager and hang up on me multiple times. all I wanted to complain about was how the one employee said "Don't piss me off." because we asked why we needed to show ID. They didn't even want to explain it and kept saying to read the sign behind us. Not only did this location ruin a birthday they made the birthday guest cry because they are so rude. Completely unprofessional.

Yelp
The worst bar service EVER we even walked next store to get drinks because the bartenders never even acknowledged us. The one girl was sitting on computer the whole time entering her credit card tips (and this is not first time I saw this). With a packed bar concentrate on the customers instead of ur money, do it at the end of the night Games are fun though

Yelp
The worst service ever. I took my daughter here for her 21st birthday. We waited almost 45 minutes for the check. We asked other servers for our check and they said we had to get it from our server. Our server disappeared and no one could find her. We waited on line for a card for the tickets for almost 30 minutes. There were three employees there. Two were bullshitting while one worked. I played a coin drop machine that dropped a bunch of coins an was never rewarded any points. This place is a joke. I will never come here again.

Yelp
A Saturday family outing to Dave & Buster's Wayne, NJ sure was exciting-- bloody mess and all. We played a few arcade games to work up an appetite. The entire family had fun playing the arcade games from soccer ball kick to skee ball. We finally worked up an appetite and saw the hostess for a table. We requested a booth near the arcade games so we could watch the kids play games as our food was prepared. Despite waiting a little longer than we wanted with our younger children our meals were good. I ordered the Buster's Bacon Burger. It was nicely prepared at a medium well. I was happy I splurged for the truffle fries as they too were tasty. My wife ordered the Crispy Chicken Cobb Salad. It was made with their crispy chicken tenders, romaine, spring mix, red onions, cucumbers, fresh pico de gallo, buttermilk ranch, roasted corn, cheddar & mozzarella. Both are opted for the children's meal of the crispy chicken bites. It was served with french fries, carrot sticks & ranch dressing. After having our dinner we played a few games. Our visit was cut a bit short because I had cut my self in on our the arcade games and needed to get some steri strips. I was steering one of the games in a booth and I somehow cut myself on a sharp edge within the booth. I lacerated my finger nicely and bleed all over the game and seat. I did contact a manager for a Bandaid and made him aware of the sharp edge and the biohazard situation. He was able to bring me out a cool blue bandaid. However, another family was already in the game booth and had discover the bloody mess before anyone was able to rectify the situation

Yelp
I had a friend want to come here for their birthday. Let me start with dining. I was less than impressed. I understand we came on a busy Saturday, but what pissed me off the most is that you order through a QR code and have to pay for your food before you even get it. This also means you pre tip. I also asked for drink refills multiple times when the server had passed by and never got them. The only thing we had gotten was a side of cheese which we had to ask for twice. We asked a manager first, who did not help us, and then the server who brought it for us. The food over piled each other. I wanted my app to come first, and the entree came way too quick. We were also here for a birthday and had put it on the reservation. No mention of a casual happy birthday from the server. Let me go onto the arcade. The arcade is one of the best Dave and Busters has. They have guitar hero which you can barley find anywhere now. They have different options and this appeals to different types of gamers. My suggestion? Split the dining room in two. Do a full service section and a fast service section. The place is big enough you can do both. I understand the concept and the idea of fast service so you can go and play more games, but we really wanted full service as we were celebrating.

Yelp
went here to consider it for a birthday party for my 8 year old... -super loud -games were flakey in that some were broken and many didn't work easily with apple wallet (i.e., the digital card) -they have NO vr games here, i.e., don't buy the $6 vr credit as you can't use it or get a refund (I learned the hard way) -the points you earn seem to be a bigger ripoff than other places (e.g., a game that costs roughly $2 to play has the best prize being worth about $2 and that's unlikely - it's also unclear which games are purely for tickets as opposed to regular games) -chuck e cheese actually seems better (and the food there, at least the pizza, is actually decent tasting though I don't know how it is here) -on the plus side, if you must go here and want to brave the headache of using apple wallet (which probably is harder to use than the plastic cards), multiple people can share the same digital card if you log into the terrible app on your phones with the same credentials (e.g., you can buy one larger pool of "coins" to play games to share)
