Had another great dinner at Davenport's I had prime rib and my partner had filet mignon. I had Chardonnay Rombauer wine that was spectacular. We started the dinner with an appetizer of the best shrimp either one of us have ever had they were huge and had two different types of sauces when was cocktail sauce and when was dill sauce best I ever tasted. Just like last time we had those delicious parmesan-crusted rolls that are out of this world with whipped butter. I had a baked potato and asparagus with my dinner that was delicious I've shown pictures of what goes on the potato and my partner had mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus and we ended the dinner with a delicious brownie and vanilla ice cream sundae you can never go wrong when you come to this restaurant. The jazz music in the background was perfect with lowlights and fabulous service.

I love this place and we’ve been going a lot more lately. We sit outside with our pups. The service is fantastic. On point and the food is well priced for what you get. It beats any of the typical chains- I rarely finish my food and end up taking it home. The portions are not skimpy. Really good place to have dinner and enjoy an evening.

We came in excited to celebrate my birthday, and things started off strong—my martini was perfect, just the way I like it, with a little extra olive. But things went downhill once the food arrived. My steak came out lukewarm. Our server agreed and took it back. In hindsight, I wish I’d kept it—especially now thinking about it at 10:30 PM, still hungry. I ordered a glass of wine at that point. You’d expect it to arrive before the replacement steak. It didn’t. In fact, the second steak showed up first—and was cold. My wife and daughter confirmed it wasn’t just me. My daughter had ordered the fried chicken salad with dressing on the side. We had to ask for the dressing twice, and it finally arrived when she was nearly done. That shouldn’t happen. On a brighter note, the burger my wife ordered was fantastic— The salad was also great. We also asked twice for more bread and never got it.And if something comes out wrong twice, a manager—not just the server—should step in. That never happened. To be clear: the food was excellent, and the service team truly tried. But effort needs leadership. When things go wrong, someone in charge should acknowledge it. Instead, you disappeared. Beautiful restaurant with stylish decor, delicious food, and excellent service. The signature lobster bites and New York steak were perfect, but the miso bass stole the show. It was so fresh and soft like butter.

We had a wonderful experience at this place! The atmosphere is warm and stylish, with a perfect balance of comfort and elegance. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, beautifully presented and full of flavor. We have been to Davenport’s before and they were out of the Short Rib dish at 6:30 on a Saturday night. My wife shared the Lamb Chops with her friend and the husbands got the ribs. They were pretty tender and drenched with sauce. I got 2 meals out of them. The wives were very happy with the properly cooked chops. This time they had the short ribs and they were so tender and flavorful. No wonder they were sold out immediately. They are also the best value on the menu by far. We started with a beet salad which was easily shareable. My wife wanted dessert so we got a piece of pie and I ate the iced cream. She had the other half of the pie for breakfast. It’s pretty pricey if you don’t get the short ribs but it’s a pricey area anyway.

I was invited there last night for my birthday , we had 6.15 reservation we were there 6.25 after seating we look at menu and there was happy hours menu , when waiter came in ask him we like to order this from happy hours menu, he looked at on his watch it was 7.37 and he told me sorry it is good till 6.30 pm, I told him we were here before 6.30 , he said sorry let me ask the chefs, he came back and told me sorry you can't order from happy menu , I told my friend I don't want to stay here and we left . I think they need me as a customer, there is lots of other restaurants will like to have my business . SAM ASHEGHIAN

First time at Davenport’s and it exceeded our expectations. Not only did we get to meet Nigel Davenport table side and his father, but we had a delicious meal with great company. The service was outstanding as well. We highly recommend the blackberry whisky sour and maple walnut Manhattan - their own take on classic cocktails. The oysters had been flown in just that day and were fresh and delectable. Other entrees that we had at our table: lobster roll, cheeseburger, Chilean sea bass. Fantastic food + excellent service = 5 star restaurant.
