Dave's Hot Chicken

The chicken was amazing, high quality. The sauce=addicting (although my only complaint is they need to provide more of it). Nice crispy French fries with plenty of seasoning. Clean dining area, and lastly, the staff here was SO friendly and high energy. Can’t wait to come back soon. I’ll be requesting double extra sauce.

First time and I'm planning on going back. The chicken was tasty and moist. The medium spicy chicken I ate was just right spice wise. And it was flavorful while also being spicy. My wife got the no spice and enjoyed it. I also loved the fries. Top 5 of all fries I have eaten.

This was my 2nd time at Dave's. The first time I made a huge mistake of trying the reaper. I am a spice lover and can handle some intense sauces and spices, but the reaper was something else. My second visit, I went with the extra hot and it was perfect. The chicken was hot, fresh, spicy, crispy and delicious. The sandwiches are perfect with crunchy pickles and soft buns. Very balanced and well crafted. The fries and sauce are also amazing. My daughter is already a regular and I will probably be back for more.

Loved this fast casual! Decided to come here last minute, and I’m so glad we did. The menu was small and easy to navigate and the food came out super fast! We ended up getting the sandwich + tenders. The chicken was incredibly juicy and perfectly seasoned. Also loved the sauce!

Went for the opening, got the food to go. Even though it was very busy, it was organized well and we didn’t wait for our food for too long! I was impressed. The food was delicious. Fries were just salty enough and crispy, tenders and the sliders had very well seasoned juicy chicken. We had four different levels for spice, and you could tell the difference between each level pretty clearly. We enjoyed it a lot and hope they will continue to do well.

first time trying this place today and it was yummy. definitely got to eat it fresh or it turns a bit gross. i was surprised by the level of flavor on the chicken, it was delicious. very paprika, cumin flavor. i got medium heat but when i ate it, it was like zero spice. not even a tingle. i’d definitely go with the hottest option the next time. the fries and sauce were yummy too.

The food was good,except the mac and cheese was literally soup with a few noodles in it. The flavor was like sad watered down kraft soup with elbow noodles. Definitely pass on it. The slider was good! And the pile of pickles was an amazing touch. We got mild and medium, neither had any spice at all so it's a good starting point for people who can't handle as much spice. I'll be going up a level or two next time. "Dave's sauce" was delicious 😋 The service was quick and the employees were very nice.

We really enjoyed our time here. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. The food was good too! I just wish the chicken was crispier but other than that it was all really good! Definitely will be going again

The restaurant is open and airy. The service is a little on the slow side and I thought that I Only ordered a chicken sandwich. The food was hot and the pickles were hardy but compared to Hangry Joes Hot Chicken in Waldorf, Md there is no comparison. The sandwiches are small, the chicken breast looked like a chicken tender in size and the portions of shoestring fries are small for the cost of $15. The sandwich had no flavor but the fries were seasoned perfectly. Sadly, I couldn't spend that kinda cash to eat here.

Cute idea. Definitely get chicken with the spice if you're looking for flavor. We would go back.

Very happy this hot chicken chain is now in the Kingstown area. Big pieces of chicken with a little crunch and a lot of flavors. I like the amount of heat options they offer. The sauce is more of a dusting than liquid. Pick up was a little tight and disorganized. Maybe have a different spot for online pick ups and people picking up their register order and staying.

Dave's Hot Chicken is absolutely outstanding! A great place for a Nashville style chicken sandwich! The portion is generous. Sandwiches come with sides of sauce and pickles. I order a Number 4 slider that includes a sandwich and fries. Beverages are extra. There are six degrees of Dave's Sauce available. I usually go for Medium. A plus is that Dave's has Coke Zero.

Went today for their grand opening! I was super surprised because I wasn't even aware that it was today, I just saw it open as I drove by. I'm super happy to have a dave's hot chicken closer to my area now. There was also a person greeting everyone at the front with goodies like pins and stickers! I got the #2 - came with 2 sliders and fries. I also ordered a milkshake with oreo topping (it's literally only on top and costs an additional $2). The food came out fairly quickly with there being a large line of people. The young boy calling out the orders was very friendly and accommodating too! Fries were amazing, super crunchy! The sliders weren't as good as last time I had them in the tyson's area but still decent! Shake was SO rich and creamy! Will definitely be back and recommend everyone trying it out if they haven't!

Good flavor, hot was plenty of heat. Me and my daughter both got the meal with one slider and one tender. Sliders are bigger than a typical slider you would think of. The Dave's sauce was good and a must for the fries for sure. Service was good. Ambiance was basic but the inside was very clean.

Service was great! The gentleman at the front was really great and helpful. Came in after the lunch rush, so the restaurant was mellow at the time, looks like a friendly family place, nice outside seating. Chicken was good, didn't really know that it was dusted with seasoning that stuck to your fingers, wasn't really a fan of the outside of the Chicken but the inside was moist and tender, I think next time I will get the plain/naked tenders, I will ask next time if all their Chicken is dusted with the seasoning really not a fan of that.

These chicken sliders were so delicious. Im usually not a cold slaw fan but on this sandwich, with all the spices from the chicken. Then, the pickles. It complimented well. I got medium and hot. Both were delicious. But I definitely enjoyed the medium better. The flavors were just right and so was the spice. New found favorite spot. The cheese fries could of been better. Overall, delicious.

Went on Friday night to check it out. It was very busy, but the customer service was great. The cashier had a lovely smile & helped us out with what to order. The chicken was very good & juicy. Their sauce was flavorful & the fries were cooked just right. The price is veryyy reasonable.. better than chick fil a & mcdonalds. This will be my new go to when I'm craving a chicken sandwich!

All things chicken didn't disappoint! Heard about this location opening up and was excited to check it out. I tried the #2 which was 2 sliders and switched it with cheesy fries. Everything was well put together for the order including the side of sauce. The interior has a modern take with eclectic artwork on the wall. Everything looked clean and well organized and there was plenty of parking outside. Service was great from the front desk to when it was ready and announced for pick up. Only recommendation would be to have better layout for ordering area and the dining area as it looked a bit busy as people were waiting for their orders in front of the cashier area. Nonetheless I will be back to try the spicier style sliders for the next order!

Our company always buys us lunch to show appreciation and we get to choose a place we would like to try. This one was new to us and let's just say better than chic fila chicken. You get to choose your heat preference and the sliders are a great size! The chicken was so good and not dry at all. Pretty tender but not fatty. This has to be the best chicken sandwich I have ever tried. It did not leave you in a food coma or bloated right after. It was the perfect platter to keep me full all day. They also have slushes that look amazing. I def recommend this place!

So I stopped there a few weeks ago to see what the fuss was about in terms of their sliders and they were nothing to write home about. The owner and staff were nice but the slider sucked. You can get a Popeye's chicken sandwich for less and it tastes much better....don't waste your hard earned money during this recession of a nightmare we are enduring.

I don't get the hype. The service was terrible. The person behind the counter had our food in her hand and yet tended to the carry out orders before finally calling my number. On top of that, when I arrived home, I noticed half the order was wrong. The chicken was like rubber and fries were over seasoned. Never again!

Just had a slider sandwich (medium spicy) and fries, and it was excellent! No notes! Tender, juicy chicken. Medium spicy is quite mild, so I'd suggest starting at Medium and going up from there. The dusting of secret spices + the special sauce = *chefs kiss*. Best "hot chicken" I've ever had.

Split the two slider combo with a side of slaw with a friend. It was just enough for a quick lunch. Glad we ordered the extra slaw to cool down our Hot level sliders. Hot equals hot here. I don't think either of us could go up a level and I don't think we'd go down a level either, so Hot is just right for us. Fries were banging. Line was crazy on a Sunday but order was ready in a reasonable amount of time. Staff was hustling.

This was a great experience. They have multiple levels of heatness for everyone. I experienced the hot. After a bit, the level of greatness does not build . Great chicken

Stopped by on their grand opening and it wasn't too long of a wait. Waited about 30 mins standing in line to getting my food. Got the Dave's #3 (1 tender medium and 1 slider hot w/ fries) and Dave's #4 (1 slider medium w/ fries). The hot was not spicy at all so maybe I'll try the extra hot or reaper next time. Staff was friendly and they gave out some free tattoos and pins.

The service at Dave's is top notch. The staff, the general many, and especially the manager Mohammed. Mohammed went above and beyond to make sure our order was taken correctly. After he took our order we saw that he went to the back himself and prepared the order. The food itself was great as well. Would absolutely go back just for the service.

The food Is great but the music for lack of a better word is freaking, blasting loud. You literally have to yell your order to the person 3 feet away and I mean literally literally not figuratively. Then you can't hear the person behind the counter respond. It s LOUD! I have opened the door and just turned around and went to Roy Rogers next door.

I was thoroughly disappointed with my time spent at this Dave's Hot Chicken. I drove over an hour to this location since it was the closest one to me while I live elsewhere. Once I arrived they did not have what I wanted, the tender bites, so I got regular tenders instead. When I asked for sauce there was NONE! Not even ranch all they had was cheese. I am outraged with how unorganized this location was and the lack of service there.

I went opening weekend, but it was incredibly quick service. Waited maybe 4 minutes for two meals (#2 and #4) and a shake. My boyfriend got hot and said it was good, but not as hot as hangry joes. I got medium and it wasn't spicy at all. I wasn't a big fan of the flavor. We both thought the sandwiches were good, but not great. His rating: 4 stars My rating: 3 stars

Tastes like a deep fried TAKI...not good. The secret sauce is fry sauce. That's what west coast people call it. Mayo and ketchup. Service was very good

This place is always very friendly. It is a really nice atmosphere. The food is incredibly tasty as well.

Wife and I wanted to try this place because we seen how busy they were as we drove by. The food was pretty good, but the sauces don't really match up to what they say. The wife got hot and said it wasn't even that spicy. Definitely didn't seem to be as good as it would have seemed from the amount of people that were in there though, but would definitely eat there again.

food was amazing and service was fast especially definitely will come back with more friends and family
