Dave’s hot chicken is overrated lol now don’t get me wrong, the quality of the atmosphere and the service workers are exceptionally nice and friendly. They welcome you when you come in, and they’re patient , it’s also clean with no stinky odors, and there’s a fresh scent when you walk in. However, the food was not as expected, especially based on the advertisement. My Son asked to go here because of the videos with the saucy chicken strips and the drips from the chicken strips made his mouth water…. In turn, when I tasted the chicken strip, they’re unusually huge tenders ; hopefully that they are well manage because I’m hoping that it’s not injected with anything eek… Anyhow, the tenders are seasoned with cayenne pepper and it’s just an exceptional amount of cayenne pepper if you get regular . Now, if you get it hot, it’s way too much sodium, which is concerning. I was hoping to experience some sort of sauce and not just cayenne pepper? There’s dipping sauce to balance it out and the tenders are juicy/meaty on the inside. But because I am a health stickler, I’m considering the nutritional facts… therefore the sauce is not taking away from the amount of sodium that you’re taking in. In addition, the regular chicken strips , which are like chicken balls, are very small and not seasoned at all and neither is the fries. So you’re either getting overly seasoned chicken strips or unseasoned chicken balls… last but not least, The prices are extremely high, for a chicken strip meal, which consists of two chicken strips a drink and fries and a chicken bowl meal was almost $40… definitely hyped.
