Highlights

Dave's Hot Chicken was created by best friends Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, and Tommy and Gary Rubenyan. Dave, a chef trained in Thomas Keller's (French Laundry) organization set out to create the perfect Hot Chicken by searching, tasting, and frying. The four friends scrounged up $900 to put a tiny stand in an East Hollywood parking lot. The menu was simple, and chicken was the star. And what chicken it is! Sourced and prepared to be the juiciest and most tender imaginable with each piece topped with Dave's own mix of spices ranging from "Mild" to "The Reaper". Arman created Instagram buzz and the lines began to grow. Two nights later, Eater/LA showed up to see what the fuss was about. The next morning's headline read "East Hollywood's Late Night Chicken Stand Might Blow Your Mind". Almost instantly, the lines stretched around the block. A year later, the boys had the money to open a shop in a hip strip-mall with de_cor by local street artists, where the crowds continued to grow with wait-times of an hour and more. From there, the incredibly craveable "Hot and Spicy" varieties have created a cult following with rave reviews across the U.S. and Canada.

"This Holly Springs outpost of the East L.A.-based fried chicken chain has garnered a loyal following for its spicy, halal sandwiches. The simple menu of tenders (on their own or as sliders) is served with a sliding scale of spiciness, pickles, fries, and the signature D’ave’s sauce. It's great for a crowd or a quick meal on the go." - Matt Lardie

Google
I had an amazing experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken! I ordered the Dave Burger with the extra hot level and some Nashville hot tenders at a hot level. Let me tell you, the tenders paired with the honey sauce were absolutely incredible—wow! The sweetness perfectly balanced the heat, making each bite a flavor explosion. The burger was just as fantastic, packed with flavor and just enough spice to keep things exciting. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were super friendly. I definitely recommend Dave’s Hot Chicken if you're looking for some delicious Nashville hot chicken!

Google
The food was great. What you see advertised is what you get! The drinks (soda) ran out..ice bin over ran bc people had to pour drink out..but it wasn't a problem. It was cleaned up fast, but still no soda. Maybe they should have offered bottle drinks, especially since we were charged for the drink. The line was long but it moved fast and we didn't have to wait long for 3 meals. I would go back.

The food is consistently great! I really appreciate the friendliness too! Tammy who greeted us and took our order was very hospitable! We will be repeat customers to the Holly Springs location! 🩷

Google
visited on a busy Saturday night. Isaiah was the most kind, helpful cashier of a fast food restaurant i’ve ever been helped by. he did a wonderful job at being welcoming and guiding me through the menu as a first-timer. i loved my extra hot slider, which was a solid portion size for someone that doesn’t eat fried food often. it’s a spicy dry rub that comes with a sauce that reminded me of a spicy mayo—whatever it is, it’s an excellent dressing for the chicken. highly recommend!

Google
Went for the first time ever to a DHC. We will be back soon. I got the medium top loaded fries. I didn't quite finish it, it's a good deal IMHO. My husband got the #3. He loves hot food and the hot was too hot for him, so he's doing mild next time.

Google
One of my favorite restaurants, I first tried it in NYC and was obsessed with it, never knew we had one in NC until recently. It definitely a must try if you haven't already. This is my second time coming here in one week and they never disappoint

Google
It’s was our first time and we will def come again. Halal❤️ and even though the menu is not so extensive- it doesn’t need to be. The chicken was so crispy and full of flavour. They have almost 10 different levels of spice you can get and the top level- “Reaper” you have to be over 18 and sign a weaver! I took the extra hot level and even as someone who eats spice- it was really spicy but delicious! Also the menu calls the sandwiches sliders but they are not really, they are full size sandwiches and 2 people can easily split the 2 slide combo. I would also say for this day and age, the food-money value is good and it’s not over priced for what you get.

The Atmosphere was great, with welcoming friendly staff. I was greeted with a smile and my food came out quick and hot. I had Dave's #1 meal which was incredible. I would recommend the honey + Dave's sauce on everything they have, you cannot go wrong. I was disappointed to hear the Milkshake machine was down and has been down for a very long time. Reasonable price for the shakes but wasn't able to try them unfortunately. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the hot chicken with a Cherry Vanilla Coke.

Yelp
Parking: plenty of parking since it was in a shopping mall area. Food: chicken tenders and chicken sandwich. Fries were great and seasoning and sauce were really good. Also enjoyed the pickle on the side. They said the medium spice was similar to a chicfila... honesty thought chicfila was spicier. Would have upped it on the spice meter they had the next time we go. Otherwise it was still really good Service: decent service and just took our food to go Ambiance: a small, open restaurant that was pretty clean.

Yelp
Delicious! The tenders are "dinosaur tongues" they forgot my milkshake. I called the manager, and he said, "Come in whenever, and I'll replace it. the manager gladly remade me a while new meal and sent me with a shake. Sn, the hot is hot!

Yelp
This location is pretty mid Dry chicken, too much seasoning, not-so-ideal location. The location in Charlotte is much better

Yelp
I ordered on uber eats and it came surprisingly fast. The order was picked up within 15-20 minutes. I hear a lot about the wait times here so maybe order to-go. It also came perfectly in tact in the box and was still warm. I was really happy with the overall order. I have already tried Dave's in Vegas and was always a fan. The chicken is super thick, juicy, and flavorful and the sliders are so satisfying and big. I always make the mistake of getting 2 sliders when 1 is more than enough. The Daves sauce is also really good with everything, and you can't go wrong whether you go with tenders or slider because both come with bread. As a pickle lover, I love the amount of pickles that come with it. Normally I don't add cheese to chicken sandwiches but here it tastes delicious. The mild has literally no spice at all so don't even worry about any heat. I don't know how much milder it can get since there is a lite mild. I would say medium is a great place to start if you want a little kick. Dave's has great food with great portions and definitely worth the price! Happy to have one here.

Yelp
So it's funny because my cousins in Chicago love this place. Therefore, was very excited to try it when it came to North Carolina. It definitely lived up to the hype. I got the medium sandwich with fries and an oreo milkshake. The sandwich itself was very well seasoned and not too spicy (medium definitely the way to go though I think you can probably go up to hot if you like spice). The sauce is really what makes the sandwich. The milkshake though was the best. Truly a creamy flavorful milkshake and would probably come back just for that (assuming their milkshake machine still works). The staff was very busy but kept things clean. We went very early on when it just opened but the line was out the door so hopefully not as long of a wait now. Plenty of parking in front and the prices were actually pretty good. Overall, definitely would recommend this place. I think depending on when you go you may get lucky with the line (go off peak hours). I will definitely be back next time I am in Holly Springs.

Yelp
Had wanted to try this since we saw the renovations being done a while ago. Finally made it here. It's quick service, order & pick up at the counter. There's ample seating inside & out. When we got there it was pretty busy & a bit noisy. The menu is limited to a couple of items. The standout here is the chicken. I ordered the slider & tender combo. When I hear slider, I think of a small sandwich like one of those dinner rolls that you get at Thanksgiving. What I got wasn't a slider imho...it was a full size sandwich with a "tender" the size of a whole chicken breast. All their tenders were easily, the size of my hand!! You can choose the heat level of your chicken. I chose medium & honestly, it was way too mild for me. I also wished that they had more kale slaw on the sandwich but overall, it was very well made. The tenders were perfectly cooked & still juicy. The fries were very good as well...well flavored and crispy. You had a choice of sauces upon request- Dave's sauce, ketchup & pure honey. What would make it even better is if they had hot (spicy) honey! If you like fried chicken, this is a great option in the area.

Yelp
I waited a while to check out Dave's mostly due to the comments about it being expensive for what you get and to let the dust settle after opening. I have a healthy appetite and had way too much food with the 2 slider combo. We ate half and air fried the leftovers the next day. So good. The chicken was extremely tasty and was not greasy at all. I had 1 hot and 1 extra hot and thought the flavor and spice on both were delightful. My husband had the exact same order and loved it too. I do not agree with those that claimed it was too expensive. I feel the quality and quantity of the food is totally worth the price. We have been back a few times and everything has been consistent. *we order on the app and pick up in store - easy peasy!

Yelp
The place was very busy. We went in on a Friday at lunchtime. The line was moving fast for orders, and the food didn't take long. The people taking our orders were very nice and helped us order the best for the experience. The person calling the number tickets did mix up our orders, but it was ok be we noticed at the table. I got the medium spice level, and I could have gone hotter. It had a sweet after taste and was not hot enough for me. The Mac was normal Mac. Noting to scream about. The fries were good, and the cheese sauce with it is amazing. The tenders were huge! The sauce on the sliders was really good and tasted similar to other sauces out there. The Cole slaw on the sliders was good, and I hate Cole slaw. The milkshake was so good! We only had vanilla, but my son ate 90% of it. They even have m&m and oreo add-ins, which I will be getting next time!!! The place was clean, open, natural lighting, and plenty of seating. They did a great job with the remodel. Music was playing and it wasn't too loud. Great place for dine in or carry out.

Yelp
First weeks kind of crazy but that is what to be expected of a new place. The line was extremely long but it moved because the cooking line is on fire and kept everything moving. Mind you it was Friday lunch time, high school is out and holiday season. Got take out of two no.3, Hot and Extra Hot, composed of one slider one chicken tender, fries, and pickles. Hot is delicious and you can still feel your mouth. lol My favorite part of the slider is the kale slaw. I wished it had more. I think I can eat that by a pint. the size of the chicken is amazing, it's huge and also juicy. Normally you get a dry meat but not theirs. I think they use the tenders for their sliders so if you do not want to eat buns, you can enjoy the strips on its own. Either way, they are delicious. There's this hint of flavour that reminds me of Sweet and Spicy/Spicy Doritos. It could just be me but I like it. How about the Extra hot? Well, it was extra alright! I only took a bite but it was as juicy and scrumptious as the Hot but with an extra kick. Overall, I like the chicken. I would order extra slaw next time and I hope they will be consistent with the size of their chicken. The logo is hilarious. Now I know why that chicken has red lips.

Stephanie J.

Yelp
The menu is basic here, you can choose from one of four combos with your level of heat. I ordered the Dave's #4 (1 slider with fries) with mild heat and my mom ordered the same combo but with medium heat and mac & cheese as her side and a strawberry milkshake. I thought that it was cooked well and that the portion was good but it's a basic chicken sandwich. I miss Mason Jar in this space.

Yelp
It's always exciting to hear that we're getting new dining options in Holly Springs, especially when they're not massive chains. That said, Dave's Hot Chicken IS a chain but the majority of their locations are in Cali where they started. Speaking of which, you should read their backstory. 2 kids started this business with $900. My son and I visited the new HS location on a Friday night. There was a line out the door but I have to say it moved fairly quickly. We waited about 15-20 mins. The inside was colorful and there were about 20 tables if you prefer to dine in (which we did). I was surprised how smoothly the ordering process was given how new they were. The menu is very simple - chicken tenders and/or sliders, fries, and a few shakes/sides. Literally just 5 options - combos with fries and a drink. On the pricier side but given the portion sizes, I suppose it's justified. I ordered the #2 (2 sliders) with cheese fries. While the menu was limited their flavor profiles were not - including Reaper, Extra Hot, Hot, Medium, Mild, Light Mild, and No Sauce. I got the mild and it was as spicy as I expected. The chicken was crispy and tender but not so juicy that I was worried it wasn't cooked enough (IFKYK!). The bun was soft and squishy and I LOVED the kale slaw. Super crunchy and with the pickles offered a well balanced fried to acid ratio. The seasoned fries were just okay, (I like mine crispier) but skip the cheese sauce. I wish they didn't have the seasoning as it was overwhelming with all the sauces and seasoned chicken. The sliders were enormous. I could barely finish one. I took the second home and reheated it for lunch the next day. Still tasty. My son ordered the tenders combo and the tenders seemed average to large size but he was able to finish the whole thing. It came with a slice of white bread which I found odd but he loved it! I would also skip the Mac and cheese. Both my son and I thought it tasted off but couldn't pinpoint why. Service was good for a busy Friday night and being new and I like that they have some outdoor seating for when it's warmer.

Logan L.

Yelp
Overall it was tasty but the price is high in my opinion. I understand a different process is likely needed to make the cauliflower option, but to add $2 for two pieces of an ingredient that I'd imagine is cheaper than chicken is a little weird to me. If you do get chicken the portion size is pretty big, which I think makes the cost more understandable. I'm glad we tried it but I don't know if I'll be back.

John T.

Yelp
The service was quick and courteous and they try hard to keep the place looking clean. The were sweeping and wiping down tables as the came available. The place is a little loud because of all the hard flat surfaces but not overly loud. The food has a good taste. I had one plain tender and one medium spiced the plain one had a good flavor but the spicy one seem to have no flavor or heat. The slider that ordered were supposed to be one hot and one medium but they both came out hot. They had good flavor and had a good amount of heat. They lost one star for getting the order wrong even after the cashier double checking the order and they lost another star for price. I'm sorry but 2 chicken tenders with an order of fries and a small drink should not be $16. The fountain drinks are $3.

Scott K.

Yelp
So awesome that they now have a Dave's Hot Chicken here in Holly Springs, NC!! It's right next to Target & Tzatziki's. Definitely arrive earlier than you think as there is a line out the door. Inside the area is open with tall ceilings. There are around 15 tables of various sizes & a side bar area where people can sit. Outside has multiple tables as well. The food is served hot, fresh & does take a bit to get out as they are really busy. I got my chicken medium & it was very tasty, beyond the flavor I was expecting in a great way. I'm not usually a fan of the crinkly fries, but the seasoning on these made them a great addition to the chicken sandwich. The service was friendly & I noticed them keeping the eating area cleaned as well. All customers seemed to be enjoying the areas new food & checking out the groovy decor. I look forward to returning for some more tasty chicken. I imagine this place will be very very busy for the foreseeable future.

Yelp
Bitch ass chicken employees lowkey L CHICKEN TOO The chicken was ass and the sauce cup was like 1/8 full, toast wasn't toasted either

Cowboy C.

Yelp
The #2 sliders were excellent!! Not dry, still had the juicy taste! When we ordered the food the young man there was respectful! Definitely worth the trip from Fayetteville to eat some good food! Don't get me started on that sauce with the coleslaw, pickles! Great atmosphere too! Enjoyed eating in and relaxing having laughs with my brothers! Will be back!! Must stop and check out !!!

Alejandro S.

Yelp
Besides the slight increase in pricing the chicken and what comes with it is a whole meal that will leave you feeling good for at least 2-3 hours. Service was fast and the atmosphere is calm.

Taahira H.

Yelp
This spot just opened a week ago and I can taste what the hype is about. The range of heat is from " no spice to reaper" I played it safe with medium heat. The fries are super crunchy but the star of the show is the tender juicy and crunchy piece of chicken . I tried the Dave's sauce, but honestly the chicken is seasoned so well that you don't need it. The side of honey adds a nice touch . This place is a must try. Service is a wait, because they are cooking it fresh to order. Ambiance is crowded and I don't expect it to die down due to popularity.

Fahad S.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing new spot and super excited for this to be added to the area. The food was all incredibly flavorful, well put together, and fresh. There's a spice level for everybody, including the reaper that requires you sign a waiver down to no spice at all. The interior was decorated fantastically and created a fun, inviting environment with plenty of seating available both inside and in their patio are. Prices are also quite reasonable The service was incredibly friendly, and once the order was placed there was a a reasonable wait but likely due to just the rush. It seems they are still working out some kinks in the system of how to optimize their speed especially given the hype in these early days. The line wrapped around the store, and while I saw plenty of workers in the back preparing orders, there was only one taking orders, and that same one was also making the shakes, leading to nearly 45 minutes for me to place my order but only 10-15 for me to then walk out with my food. Hopefully they work their system out Added bonus is that they are halal Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be returning

Yelp
We went to Dave's Hot Chicken which just opened yesterday in Holly Springs. It's in the former Mason Jar Tavern location. There is ample parking and an outdoor patio with tables. Hopefully they put some patio heaters outside as it would help with more seating when it's chilly outside. It was very busy naturally. The line was out of the door and around to the patio area. It took one hour from the end of the line to placing our order. There was 1 register taking orders. The staff were all very friendly & they got the whole restaurant singing Happy Birthday to two customers. Finding a table wasn't too difficult. Once we were in the door while waiting in line, one member of our party grabbed a table. We ordered a number one, two number 2 and a number 3 and 1 soft drink. We had 2 mild, 1 lite mild, and one no spice. It took about 15 minutes for the food. The food came out correctly and hot. The crinkle fries were seasoned. The mild was mild for us, so 2 of us will do medium next time. The chicken had a nice crispy coating, and they were quite large. The kale slaw on the sliders gave it a nice crunch. The pickles were nice and crunchy, too. The total cost for our 4 meals and 1 soft drink was $65. In my opinion, it's a bit pricey, but everything seems to be now. We'll probably return and share more as the meals were filling.

Syed A.

Yelp
Great hot chicken. Pretty standard. Service is an A+. Tables and dining room is always clean. Taste of hotter chicken is inconsistent which docks a star

T D.

Yelp
Absolutely overpriced for fast food. Dining area was filthy. Had to clean our own table. Save money and go to Zaxby's in the same parking lot.

Ashley F.

Yelp
I was in the area one day and I've been patiently waiting on this place to open up. I ordered online prior to it opening and was there to pick up a little after opening time. The service was fast and friendly, I was greeted and told where to go to pick up my order. It was a quick and easy process. It's the actual food as to where I had to take off stars. I ordered the mild and the medium chicken to try both. The mild chicken had no flavor at all. It was very bland. The next level had a little bit of flavor but it was no stand out. I love hot chicken and have had it from a few different places and it is such an indulgent experience. This is like they tried but it's just so basic in terms of the flavor profile. I will say that the food was hot and fresh so that's a plus but it just wasn't amazing like I anticipated it to be. The store was wide and open on the inside and had a fun ambiance overall. I know this place originated on the west coast I believe and maybe it's just not the same as us southerners do it. Curious to know what others think!

Danie L.

Yelp
Wanted to see what the hype was about . We ordered sandwiches and fries. Medium and hot. The chicken was cooked nicely. It was crispy on the exterior and moist on the inside. The spice level was good. Crinkle cut fries were average. Overall it was a good plate. A little on the higher end of price. Will go back and try a higher level of spice

Nathan D.

Yelp
Went and tried it today (Monday). It opened last Friday and has been really busy since. I tried to go yesterday @ 2:00pm and the line was out the door, so I moved on. Today I tried again @ 11:30am and the line was only to the door this time lol. Service was counter based. Outside of waiting in line due to busyness, once I got to the counter and ordered, it was pretty quick and accurate-ish after that. All staff was polite and helpful which again is a + considering how busy it was and they have been. I got the tender & slider with fries combo. I added an additional tender and drink. They "messed up" and gave me two sliders. I didn't complain. Sauces I got : hot, extra hot, reaper Verdict: really, really good chicken. Juicy, huge strips and definitely filling. The slider is not a slider, it's a sandwich. Nothing small about them. Love the pickles, slaw, and Dave's sauce. Fries are fries. They are good. Similar to Shake Shack. The Dave's sauce is good. But it's just a taster version of "fancy sauce" Heat: I like hot a lot. It was a good warm heat with a lot of flavor. This will be my causal go to! Extra hot is what I think of when I eat authentic Nashville hot, Thai hot at an Asian place, or really good Indian curry. Incredibly flavorful and pushes the boundaries of heat tolerance. My go to when i want that heat rush! Reaper: l ate 3 fork sized bites and tapped out. It was good, but really really hot. They make you sign a waver and it's for good reason, a heat novice will not enjoy that. Use caution! Overall: the chicken is the star and I definitely will be coming back for it. Likely won't order reaper again, but I at least can say I tried it. lol. Can't ask for a better first experience to a new thing that just opened. Look forward to visit #2

Gary D.

Yelp
I was a first timer and it was a great experience all the way around. It was mid afternoon so the lunch rush was behind us and the ordering was easy and the food was delivered quickly. The meal itself, the two slider combo, hot, with fries and a coke was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back for more and next time I might try a milkshake. The space is decorated well and there is outdoor seating. My only constructive criticism would be that the cleaning could be done more thoroughly.

Ben P.

Yelp
Somewhat of a let down when considering the hype, wait, and pricing. The wait to order was around 30min but then only about 5min to get food. There was a noticeable imbalance with only one cashier and the other register not being utilized. The only troubling observation from the kitchen was seeing a cook eating on the line. The chicken was relatively decent quality with some tougher bites and dry overall. The seasoning on the tender was really good and the hot level added some great heat. I definitely recommend the tender vs the slider unless you add sauce to the slider. The sauce complimented the chicken okay but seemed too similar to hibachi shrimp sauce. The seasoning does make me want to go back but for the price, I hope they are able to get a better handle on the timing and operation.

Sydney L.

Yelp
Cold overpriced nasty food. The manager Stephen as well as his daycare need to learn customer service and cleaning in the place. I will never go back in there . I believe they in their last leg of being in business. No one can afford those prices in North Carolina need to shut down and go back to California

Willy C.

Yelp
Do you like bland chicken? Do you like to pay for that bland chicken? If you answered yes to both these questions then this is your place! Gave it two stars because the fries were the best, would recommend them! UPDATE: reduced to one star, the crunchy air chicken was just so unflavored that I can't sleep just thinking bout what a tasteless experience I had today. Please bear your tongue the disappointment.

Tony H.

Yelp
I was excited to see a new chicken place opening in the Holly Springs area, DHC took over the spot where Mason Jar used to be. As for the food, it was delicious and well worth the wait for the food. I got the 2 tinders with fries combo, and it was plenty to fill me up. I know w tinders don't sound like much, but these tinder are a good hunk of chicken. As for sauces, I got the extra hot and reaper since I'm a big hot sauce guy, and the term "reaper" is tossed around so easily these days. Let's just say this reaper sauce earns it name as it's not for the faint of heart, and it will make you cry. Not to mention that you DO have to sign a waiver to actually order one. You are warned. The extra hot was perfect for me, and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is nice, a simple seating area with custom paint murals on the wall. The area was very clean and staff was quick to clean the tables. The staff was nice and attentive, quick to turn table to get them ready for the next guest. I would recommend this place if you got a little bit of time to spare. My wait in line was about 15-20 minutes, which I thought it was worth it. I've heard the Mac and cheese is really good, and it'll be on my list to try next time I'm there.

Alexander C.

Yelp
Tried out Dave's today for the first time. This has personally been on my go to places for a while, since seeing it advertised months ago. I've seen a lot of people upset about the wait and the fact that they have one cashier. While this is true and the wait can be long, this location recently opened. The food was seasoned well and tasted great, I had hot and extra hot as my slider and both were delicious. If you want the reaper, you do need to sign a waiver so keep that in mind. All in all the food was great. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was also really nice. Lots of modern graffiti art on the interior really ties the whole experience together.

Tim S.

Yelp
Pretty pricey if you ask me. My wife, son and I went in for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon (about 3). The restaurant was about half full at the time. We placed our order and received our food in under 10 minutes. $55 for 3 meals and 3 small drinks. Fries were hot and crispy, best part of the meal IMO. Chicken was ok. The Famous Dave's sauce was nothing special either. I'm a fan of dry rub but this missed the mark and for the money, we could've gone to BW 3's and had better along with a couple beers. Don't think I'll be back.

Ryan B.

Yelp
Really solid hot chicken. The flavor and juiciness of the tenders are on par with Hattie B's in Nashville. I see people complaining about the price for 2 tenders, the two tenders I had were about the size of what you think 3-4 tenders would be. I was very happy with value and everything about my experience.

Pam P.

Yelp
Went today for the first time with a group of friends. General feeling was way overpriced, my chicken (ordered hot) was dried out and others ordered mild and said it was "ok." Not sure why they give you two pieces of white bread when you order just the tenders (not sliders). French fries were kind of odd tasting. The acoustics are bad - It's extremely loud in there with loud music playing. Next to impossible to talk. We all agreed we would not be back. Bojangles is much better!

Shayne D.

Yelp
My daughter wanted to go here so we stopped in to give it a try. They had chicken tenders sandwiches of all heat category, french fries, milkshake, and just chicken fingers by themselves everything was fried and then dipped in batter way overpriced and more like fast food buyer beware.

John K.

Yelp
Dave's Hot Chicken is an excellent chicken spot addition to the Holly Springs area. Tyson took our order and was very articulate, punctual, and very friendly. The service was a 10/10. The food was awesome too. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. Fries cooked to perfection. (I mean how hard is it to mess up chicken and fries?) Atmosphere is really great for anyone but culturally designed toward younger generations (less than 30 yo). Pricing is a high but that is to be expected in this day and age. All in all Dave's is a great place to bring family and friends for a quick bite to eat.

Yelp
This is the REAL DEAL for spicy chicken, and I'm a guy who only buys ghost pepper or hotter. Fries and special sauce are solid, too. Well done

Yelp
1st time at Dave's, ordered #3 (2 Sliders w/ Fries), no spice, no kale slaw, add cheese ($16). After waiting for 15min, got mild with kale slaw, no cheese. Chicken portion was small, fries tasted like they'd been sitting for a while. Pickles were the high point. Maybe some day I'll forget how bad it was and try again...but I suspect the franchise location will be shuttered by then.

Yelp
Went through 5 dashers for over 2 hours for the last dasher to tell me that she went there and they told her they dont have my order at all. That's apparently why the last 4 people left. Why don't you remove yourself from DoorDash if you're going to be this awful? Maybe it taste good. I'll never know.

Yelp
Waited 20 min on line, another 5 to receive food. I was impressed by the size of the PICTURES of the chicken and thought it would be worth the price. May be we went on midget night? The pieces were small in comparison to the pics. Fries, completely meh. Wife and daughter got "no spice" and said it was completely bland. I got mild heat and tasted no heat. The crunch was good and the chicken was very tender. Mac n cheese meh. If the pieces were bigger Id say fine, but nah. The staff: zombies. And only 1 register open with lots of employees standing around. Idk. Not believing the hype. Another chicken place kinda has amazing employees, service and chicken...

Yelp
Chicken was very delicious and cooked nicely. I also really enjoyed the pickles and fries. My friend got lite mild and I got mild. I didn't think either were spicy. I will be going up in heat level next time but it was still delicious!

Yelp
lowkey over priced but good quality. The drive is far out but if you live near the place it is not bad.

Yelp
Chicken was good and hot. Pickles were soggy. Clearly out of a jar. For the price, they could slice pickles for freshness. Fries were room temp. Asked for new fries and didn't check them before returning to table. To our surprise, they were again room temp. Didn't send them back again. Lunch for 2 was $32. Chicken, bread, fries and a few pickle slices and two drinks. Place is new, so as expected, clean. Hope when the new wears off they have to work a little harder on standards to keep customers coming back.

Yelp
Only thing good here is the music. Dirty, food is terrible and service is by a bunch of kids who seemingly have to be here.

Yelp
Not ready for prime time!!! Online order food was done 45 minutes AFTER suggested pickup the food WAS good. But I won't be rushing back

Yelp
Not close to worth the time or money. I was excited about new options in HS but this isn't a good addition.
