Not a good experience...ok, some backstory, this is a place I would not have gone to without the insistency of my daughter. Dad, "you'll really like it, I love it". Walked by many times and it always seemed like a novelty and gimmicky. OK, let's go (keep her happy, right?!). My crew has suggested going here often since none of us had any experience, and I was always able to persuade them to go to Chipotle for a bowl of fresh veggies, rice, meat, sour cream and cheese.
This is MY experience, your mileage my vary...I had the #1, 2 chicken strips (mild) and fries. $14.99 for 2 strips that were deep fried and a small serving of fries. The Chicken Strips physically were ok, decent size (not for $14.99), ok, not juicy or dry but ok, but what strikes the most is they had a HEAVY Lays BBQ Potato Chip seasoning on them that was not dripping off, but close to. Ate my 2 strips to keep my daughter happy.
The fries were deep fried and tossed with Lawry's Seasoning salt, no great shakes.
They serve 2 things and 2 things only. Strips and Fries. Everything is deepfried and heavily seasoned, I sure hope they are profitable with low overhead to produce these 2 items.
To say I was highly disappointed to pay $15 for 2 strips and a small handfull of fries is a grave understatement.
If that's not enough, it's loud, VERY LOUD both verbally and visually (sealed concrete floors, neon wall murals), you can't carry on a conversation with your party, the walls are screaming visually which compounded an bad experience for me.
This is just me, but I won't be coming back and strongly encourage you to think about coming here. If you like paying big $$$ for strips whether seperately or in a bun, it may work for you. My mouth is still dry and chalky choking down those strips.
Caveat Emptor...
