Walked by this place for weeks and finally gave it a try—so glad I did! The coffee flavor was super creamy and smooth, exactly what I needed. They’ve got a ton of other options too, so I’ll definitely be back to explore more.

The two folx at the ice cream stand by Amtrak today were two of the nicest people I’ve talked to in a long time! I’d had a rough day, and was just looking for a little treat, and they were so personable and kind and lovely. And the pineapple strawberry sorbet is amazing too! I’d wanted to try this place for ages and never had. I’m really, really glad I did. 😭❤️

Peanut butter pie shake is delicious, the caramel sweet corn lacked corn flavor. Blackbird app is for loyalty points only.

Nice Ice Cream stand in the Moynihan Train Hall. Very clean and nice selection of treats. I had the Nutella Chocolate Chip Malted Milkshake and it was super rich, thick, creamy and delicious. Matt the associate was very patient and helpful and he took his time and made my malted perfectly and just the way I like it. Definitely a must see and great stop for a nice treat if you are traveling through Moynihan Train Hall.

I came here from a blackbird promotion and got the fresh strawberry ice cream. It was fresh, delicious and I can taste the strawberry bits. It just what I needed on a summer afternoon. The location isn’t hard to find, located right inside Moynihan train hall. I definitely want to try the other flavors next time!

Tried the pistachio ice cream at Davey Ice Cream, and it was fantastic! The flavor was rich and nutty, with a creamy texture that made each bite enjoyable. A must-try for anyone who loves pistachio ice cream. Will definitely be back to try more flavors!

Buttery smooth ice cream as you wait for your train. It's a little pricey but that's what you get in any train or airport for the convenience. The small cup was $7 and the scoop was enough to share.

Friendly and helpful, kind staff. Ice cream is not good though. Very icy, not sweet and low on flavor. The nutella ice cream doesn't really taste like nutella at all. The cookie tastes like unflavored iced cream. And no that's not a typo. Better off finding like a snickers ice cream bar or drum stick from a cvs.

The nastiest customer service I have ever received! The "customer service representatives" have extremely nasty attitudes and are extremely rude. A rep with red hair rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a manager. When asked if she rolled her eyes at me she stated..."I'm sorry if I rolled my eyes at you". I don't deserve this. No one deserves this. This is not the first time but this time I am appalled. The customer service here is truly horrible. No one is friendly. No one greets your. They're always lounging around behind the counter. Is that what this company represents???? Purchase on 2.24.24 / 2:00pm - 2:20pm.

This is great ice cream, and if you are in the station it's great, but if you are wanting some New York ice cream, there are trucks all around that are the best ice cream for the experience. But if you are catching a train, would recommend!

kind helpful staff, yummy ice cream especially during my 2 hour delay. they let me try a few which I couldn't even choose from after the 3rd just wanted like 3-4 scoops

Delicious ice cream while you wait for your train, what more could you ask for? I had a single scoop of roasted pistachio, and it was a generous scoop! This ice cream had more pistachios than I ever remember seeing in other ice creams!

Over $9 for a basic cup with one taste. I get that you're inside the new Moynihan Train Station, but prices in the food hall are outrageous.

Great addition to Moynihan food hall. Thick milkshake $11. First time trying Davey's, I know I'm late to the party. Prices are comparable to other places like Ample Hills or Van Leeuwen and quality equally good or better. Flavors are more on the classic side but very good. Shake was very thick and tasty, the "chocolate chocolate" flavor was like a dark chocolate which I enjoyed

Came here on their opening day and got to taste their strawberry ice cream. They had many great flavors to choose from but if you like simple flavors, I'd definitely get the strawberry. It was very creamy and didn't melt too quickly. The waffle cone also had a good crunch and held well. The servers were also super sweet and I didn't have a long wait either. If you're in the Penn Station area and need a little dessert, this place is the place to go!

I got an Oreo ice cream there. The workers were normal and kind. Not a lot to say about ambience because the shop's in a train station. But it was decent and they gave me a large scoop for 7$. Though, my sense of money is kinda poor so I'm not sure if that's good or not. And then my Mom got ice cream and she liked it too.

Was so sad when Davey's closed in the East village, but eventually found a new space recently. But luckily, travelers or subway riders with a hankering for something sweet and cold can shop my the renovated Moynihan Train Hall for a quick snack. All the flavors may sound 'basic', but they get the flavor right. No need to offer eight vanilla varieties when one is perfected. The fresh strawberry is a crowded favorite because nothing is artificial in the batch. All natural ingredients. No gimmick. No fakeness. Just good old simple, nostalgic taste. The roasted pistachio I tried is full of broken down nuts. Just extremely nutty and hearty at the same time. A cup/cone goes for $6.60 for aim high for a sundae or sundae. Sometimes you just want to be a kid again, ordering a mundane flavor, yet it's nothing basic about the experience. As quoted by Steve Jobs, "Simple can be harder than complex."

Scoops very generous. Lovely staff- polite and friendly. Distinctly average ice cream.

This is cream is WAAAY over priced. It doesn't taste nearly like something that should be so expensive. People, DON'T DO IT .... the prices are bloated.

Great ice cream option in Moniyhan. Cookies and cream was on point! Speculloos was also good. Wish their hot fudge was not as runny.
