Went to see the opening of the Laura Ball show "The sun was glad to see my shadow". Laura's work is spectacular. I recommend anyone to visit and see her work.
The gallery is perfect for this size of show. It's intimate and welcoming. I look forward to seeing other artists work here.

David B Smith gallery is one of the best galleries in Denver. Exhibiting regional, national and international artists, Smith puts on relevant and critical contemporary art exhibitions throughout the year. He and his staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about the work and the art world in general.

Excellent gallery and phenomenal staff! We’re from out of state and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Now, every time we are in denver, we stop by, say hi, and see what’s new.

I worked with the gallery on a piece that was on exhibit at a museum; they were extremely easy to work with despite the complicated logistics and communicative through the entire process. I hope to work with them again!

Yelp
Formally known as Limited Addiction Gallery, this contemporary art magnet is still super fantastic. My favorite on the Santa Fe Art Walk, they bring in some big names and never disappoint. The press release states, "Limited Addiction will remain as the publishing division of the Gallery, featuring limited edition prints and monographs."

Yelp
This gallery is your source for progressive art from across the nation. I have lots of Favorites in town for local art. But it would be hard to beat The David B. Smith gallery for National and International artists. Examples include Josh Keyes, Bruno Novelli, Emil Alzamora, Bua and so many more. They have moved to 1543 A Wazee Street Denver, CO 80202.
So go check out the art and there new space.

Yelp
Though I now live in Austin, TX, I find myself missing this gallery in Denver often. It's tucked away right in downtown Denver, and not too far from the MCA. In truth it's often a better stop than the MCA altogether.
Memorable shows include Liz Miller and Gregory Euclide.
Do yourself a favor and stop by for an opening, or during the week if you prefer less of a crowd.

Yelp
Even though I did not personally like some of the works in this gallery, I can appreciate the talent of this artist. His use of bright colors is very eye catching. I felt like he was influenced by the ocean possibly as I saw what looked like underwater flora and fauna life, seashells and abalone shells. It's definitely worth a look.

David B. Smith has excellent taste in curating contemporary artists from around the country as well as local favorites. The space is open and inviting, classy and modern. It's always a treat to attend one of the amazing artist opening he continually shows. I always look forward to seeing who's next. Definitely cutting edge, definitely a must see for the art enthusiast.
