Come here for good quality steaks. We had zero leftovers! Highly recommend getting the table side Caesar salad and the onion ring tower (not pictured). We came to celebrate my son’s birthday and he was gifted a slice of chocolate cake, along with the cotton candy each table receives. We ate family style and the chef had no problem slicing the steaks for us. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive.

Went for the prefix on our getaway from long summer hours on Cape Cod. Briana our server went above and beyond. She was pleasant and efficient and just an all around delight. The food on top of that service was perfection. The popovers, clams casino, prime rib and cheesecake were spectacular. I’ve dined here before snd can’t wait to return. The manager was also very nice as we did call her over to shout our praises over the meal and Briana.

Our server Katie V. was great, very nice and attentive, she surprised my husband with cake for his birthday at the end of our meal. The steak was very good, whipped potatoes were amazing, and the table side Caesar salad was delicious, so fresh!

The reason why I didn’t give 5 stars across the board was due to my server not giving us the WOW experience at Prime. There was not enough information given to us about the menu, She gave Me and my Daughter little interaction. We ate dessert here the pervious evening with our up-beat server Mia who made this experience so extravagant we wanted to eat dinner here the following evening. Our server was lacking of energy and conversation with us the following night. Although the bad dinner experience, the food was extremely tasty and so was our dessert! Would recommend to bring family along if you decide to stop by David Burke!

This steakhouse was far beyond our expectations! The atmosphere and service made me forget I was even at a casino. The aged steak offerings were impressive and tasted even better than expected. This steakhouse is a must-visit while in Connecticut.

Had an amazing experience thanks to our server, Heather! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and taken care of. She was attentive without being overbearing, always checking in at the right times and making sure everything was perfect. Heather was knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and had such a friendly and professional attitude throughout the meal. Her service truly made the night special. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had—thank you, Heather!

We had Montana tonight and she made the experience absolutely amazing. She was knowledgeable about the menu and helped us with great recommendations. The entire experience was amazing!

Google
Wonderful experience! Our server Iris was amazing. for the appetizer, we got the onion rings and the Burratta prosciutto. My husband got the Tableside cacio de Pepe and I got the 10 ounce filet mignon with blue cheese, caramelized onions, and the peppercorn sauce. One of the best steaks I have ever had! For dessert we got the tiramisu. We told them we just got married and they brought out this really yummy cotton candy and some Prosecco on the house. Probably the best place to eat in the casino highly recommend.

Yelp
I visited David Burks restaurant last Saturday evening at Foxwoods casino, and was expected to have an astounding experience given the name recognition and reputation of the restaurant, but instead came away feeling that the venue didn't live up to it's hype. While I didn't have a terrible experience by any means, it was a disappointing let down, with the menu serving most entrees a la cart, while charging an arm and a leg for everything. I enjoy trying new restaurants, and don't mind spending top dollar for a meal as long as it lives up to a wonderful dining experience, but this time I just felt I was ripped off as the name David Burk was all hype and disappointing delivery. Again, all in all it wasn't terrible by any means but I found the prices were extremely high for everything starting with $ 25 cocktails, and entrees like beef showing prices starting at mid forty dollars but coming with nothing! No vegetable, no potato or rice, so to get those you needed to spend another fifteen dollars to get a baked potato, which to me is a strike against you. My friend ordered a filet and it was brought to the table on a big white plate looking small and lost all alone with little presentation, given it's extreme price! I ordered the surf and turf which was 62 dollares, but I ordered it because at least it came with mashed potatoes and green beans , but I found the mashed potatoes to be overly soupy whipped, and my steak was good but not outstanding as I anticipated it would be, I've enjoyed much better beef at J. Gilbert's in Glastonbury , along with sides that outpace what is served at your place, and for that matter, I ordered a wedge salad that was 19 dollars and it was just ok and doesn't compare to the wedge salad you get at J. Gilbert's which also is at a much cheaper price there. So I am just letting you know that our $270.00 tab ( with tip) just wasn't justified given the underwhelmed satisfaction of the food, I am not going to return, as I am going to keep patronizing J. Gilbert's as I always am impressed by the wonderful food and good portions, always delivering optimally cooked beef and seafood, and superb service , although not inexpensive you are given a wonderful experience, and value for your money. Take this as a positive ctriticism. J. Mahoney North Haven

Yelp
I've been to David Burkes a number of times. We like to sit at the bar. We've had a variety of appetizers and usually get a steak and some sides. Tonight we had the burrata, strip steak, baked , mushroom side and horseradish sauce. I must say, it was very good-as usual. The burrata was delicious. Good choice for an appetizer. A good cosmo isn't a bad idea as a side drink. lol. Strip steak was cooked perfectly. Delicious. Add the mushroom and horseradish sauce along with the baked potato and you have a perfect meal. Great server-"Jo-Jo" -great smile and friendly throughout our meal. Ben has also been an amazing addition to the bar here. Congrats to David Bourke's for the great hires.

Yelp
My wife and I went to Foxwoods for the first time to see Jerry Seinfeld's show. It was a birthday present from my wife and my Mother-In-Law. We looked at the reviews of all the restaurants, and this one had the highest review. Well, it was OK, and that is stretching it. In all honesty, I should know better than to eat at a casino regardless of whose name is on the door. Ambiance - CROWDED and CRAMMED is the name of the game. Pack them in as tightly as possible. Service - Well, it began well. Our server was very attentive. She suggested the more expensive items, which was no surprise. AS the night moved forward, the attentiveness waned. It was hard to get her attention when the meal was served. Cocktails - The list was impressive, but the value was poor. $25 drinks were the norm. Since it was my birthday, I got their "special" Manhattan. The only special was the $40 price tag. It was measured and light and not very good, despite the aged bourbon. Not worth the price. Food - They brought us some excellent popovers. They were light and airy. We ordered the housemade ricotta spread with fresh sourdough bread as an appetizer and split the Wedge salad. Both were well-made and flavorful. We decided to try the 18-ounce 75-day dry-aged rib eye. We ordered the roasted bone marrow butter topper for the steak and the creamy roasted corn, and the roasted mushrooms and caramelized onion sides. Well, the steak was thin. I would have liked to weigh it because there is no way that it weighed 18 ounces. It was cooked properly, but the steaks I age myself are better in terms of depth of flavor. The marrow butter didn't come out. The caramelized onions and mushrooms didn't come out. I asked the server. She said she would check. By the time they came out, we were halfway done. The onions and mushrooms were anything but roasted and caramelized. I was NOT happy. We did get cotton candy to make it better. I did let them know my thoughts, and they took $85 off our bill. It was still a poor value. Next time we go see a show, we'll take a Lyft to Foxwoods and stay and eat in Mystic.

Yelp
Fair at best, overpriced for the quality of the food and the service. Went there for a birthday and nothing not even a piece of cake, we were told we should have mentioned it but we did and did so while making the reservation. A bit more attention to details and focus on quality if your going try to be a high end restaurant.

Yelp
after walking around the casino on a Sunday morning with my man, he wanted to try this spot out for lunch. I've eaten here before and approved. It just hit noon. We didn't have a reservation but at this time of the day, we were seated right away. For drinks I had a pomegranate margarita, spicy margarita, and a pear martini; All tasty. For starters we had a French onion soup. The presentation was nice, topped with fried onions. I ordered the steak frites, there were nice and juicy. Even the fries were flavorful. We shared the tomahawk steak *medium well* with a loaded potato. We did not complain to the kitchen, but it def came out well done and was a bit dry as a result. We should have just ordered it medium. Everything was still delicious and I wouldn't mind coming back again.

Yelp
They do not have gluten free options. Service was great. Food was good. Very pricey I have been to other steak places and this is just as good as those We ordered our steak medium rare it was more medium well. Won't be back I expected more for the price.

Yelp
Delicious food, great ambience, and amazing staff. Our server was Montana and she was so friendly, very attentive, and made sure we had a great experience - she was awesome! Fried Calamari was a good larger portion and the sushi rolls were fresh and tasted good. We went on a Monday and I ordered the 'Monday Night Lobster Special' where you get one appetizer, one main course, and one dessert for $65 - which is a good deal, but there wasn't a huge amount of lobster included in my opinion, so next time I would order one of their signature steak instead. Overall nice upscale location, with good food and great staff, so I would go back again for sure and recommend.

Yelp
Stopped here for breakfast on a Tuesday morning while staying at Foxwoods. They have a good buffet as well as a la carte breakfast menu. It was not crowded and we were seated right away. Beverage order was taken and it was nice to have my own airpot of coffee! Neither of us are buffet people so we ordered off the menu. I ordered the egg white omelette with toast and side of fruit. Hubby had 3 eggs over easy with home fries and toast. His eggs arrived over medium. Both his toast and my toast had hard, dry crusts that were inedible! My omelette was great - hot fresh & lots of veggies - but I had to ask for the side of fresh fruit. The fruit was delicious and fresh. We would eat here again when staying at Foxwoods!

Yelp
The burger is great. By far the best burger at Foxwoods. The bun doesn't do too well.

Yelp
Our experience was really a tale of two cities. With little exception, my wife really liked it. My experience no as good. First off, we wanted to go Italian that night. We were at Michael Jordans Steakhouse the night before (best meal ever). Both Italian places at Foxwoods were closed, so we ended up here. It is a large place, with a concrete floor. So if it is busy, it is loud. There were four of us at our table and it was difficult to hear the person across from you. It might be a minor issue but the men's bathrooms do not have any dividers between the urinals. If I am somewhere paying $20 or less per plate it's to be expected. When I'm paying $80 for my steak I don't expect to hear complaining from the drunk guy next to me about the bad trade from the Yankees to the Mets while taking care of business. There was good here. They bring you popovers as a start and they were probably my favorite thing. We ordered a Caesar salad which they made at the table and was told it was quite good. My wife's chicken was surprisingly juicy. Better than the steaks the rest of us got. I got a cup of the clam chowder, which was mostly potato. Was not bad, but it was more a potato soup than chowder. Daughter got a filet, which she described as "ok". Not bad, but not great. Sone got the Tomahawk steak ($150 I believe) which was also "just ok". A little dry. I was ready to go for some steak but there is a sign on the table about their patented dry-aged beef so I opted for another $20 to a T-bone. Maybe others have had a good experience here but the dry-age did not appear to add anything (again: see #MichaelJordans for what a dry aged steak should be). They filet cut was more like charcoal (don't know if you can see in the picture). I requested it medium, unless the chef suggested otherwise. My strip side was half medium-well and half medium-rare. When the waitress (who was very nice BTW) came to clear the able and asked how everything was, I had had just enough martini to let her know. v I picked up a chuck of the filet that was charcoal like to show her. She went to talk to the manager (I did not see this, my wife did - it was behind me). Instead of him coming over and apologizing, they covertly made me a small filet and sent it out. I was not expecting this so when the nice man from the kitchen brought it out to me, I let him know I did not order it (I was done with my dinner and was full). He went away and the waitress brought it back because they wanted me to "have the experience". I took two bites. It was actually dry. They should have just comp'd the steak and all would have been OK. Heck, if he had come over and just said "sorry - can I buy the table around?" it probably would have been ok. Our bill was well north of $500 when all was done (before tip). We save all year to make a family trip back to CT around Christmas. We have had better steaks at our local Texas Longhorns.

Yelp
I came here for lunch w/ my bf,sister, & her bf. We had a couples getaway in Foxwoods(that's where this restaurant is located inside of). I loved the decor! It was pretty cool especially the cow prints! It gave a classy vibe inside! I ordered from the lunch menu. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich & fries. The food took a bit b/c my sister's bf ordered a tomahawk steak(which takes 30 mins. To cook). Prime is famous for their dry aging process on their steaks. I believe his tomahawk was aged for 30+ days. The waitress was very attentive & nice! She made sure we were taken care of. She was on point! The food finally came out & I was disappointed. There was nothing but bread on my sandwich. It was super dry hardly any marinara sauce. The chicken was chewy. I should have just stayed w/ beef but I wasn't hungry enough. I tried the bbq short rib grilled cheese & the tomahawk steak as well. The grilled cheese was pretty good (just wish there was more meat). The tomahawk steak was overcooked. It was well done when he (my sister's bf)ordered medium well. It was really dry! No dessert b/c I was stuffed like a turkey. Overall, I might give them another chance b/c maybe it was just a bad day for the chef.Maybe next time I'll go for dinner instead of lunch!

Yelp
Food is phenomenal! Fresh seafood. My personal favorite is the seafood tower. There's a bit of everything for seafood lovers and very shareable. Braised short ribs was fall of the bone. Super tender and packed with flavor. Filet mignon was great. Cooked perfectly medium rare per request. French onion soup was delicious. Great onion flavor and the cheese on top was so great! Service was wonderful. Great dinner spot for parties or more intimate parties. Ambiance is more upscale but people do show up dressed casual. I guess it all depends on your mood. They have a 3 course prix fixed menu and specials like lobster specials! Highly recommend for steak, lobster and seafood. There's also a full bar and happy hour specials as well.

Yelp
We went to David Burke for brunch during our stay at Foxwoods . The restaurant itself is very nice , comfy seats , spacious and dim lightening . The service was good our waitress was very nice but because it was busy the service was slow. We decided to do the breakfast buffet, which included inlet station scrambled eggs , bacon, ham, sausage, home fries, french toast casserole , waffles , oatmeal , fresh fruit , yogurt , and pastries along with tea and coffee . The omelette station was definitely the best part and was delicious. The home fries were good nothing special. The French toast casserole was new and I thought was really good. The fruit was not that great and didn't look fresh at all. Overall for $28 it was okay hence I gave it 3/5 . I will come back for dinner and hopefully have a better experience

Yelp
$75 filet was an end cut and overcooked. Tough and chewy. A filet is supposed to be a center cut. $15 mac & cheese-bland, watery, and overcooked. Couscous- under seasoned but decent Service- very good Lobster tail- overcooked Ribeye - ordered med rare- cooked rare 4 people- $560 before tip Surprisingly bad. Trust me. Do not waste your money

Yelp
We came here for breakfast during our trip. It was pretty busy, but we didn't have to wait and got a table. My friends got the breakfast buffet, but I got an omelet. It came with home fries, toast & coffee. It was very delicious and a nice portion. The server was nice, but not super attentive. Had to ask for coffee, water refills. My friends liked the buffet. It had a lot of options.

Yelp
Went her for an early dinner. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and bubbly. Loved her. Unfortunately we went when it was still only serving lunch. So the side options weren't much. We ended up getting the asparagus with the sauce on the side and some fries. Would have loved to have mashed potatoes. But, that is what was on the menu for starches. For the meat we got the porterhouse dry aged steak for two. It was very tender and lightly seasoned. But, the best part of it was you could actually taste the beef. It was very flavorful. Also, we were given a complimentary champagne to toast for our anniversary. It was a wonderful day. To top off our dinner we were given cotton candy that was more airy than the ones you get at the fairs. Loved everything. Will definitely go again to try other things.

Yelp
If you find yourself at Foxwoods Casino and craving an exceptional meal, David Burke's Steakhouse is an absolute must-visit. From impeccable service to outstanding cuisine, this restaurant offers a memorable dining experience that will surely exceed your expectations. The service at David Burke's is truly exceptional. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. What stood out most was the personal touch they added to our evening. When I mentioned that I had a special request for a bone marrow dish, which was an off-menu item, our server not only communicated it seamlessly to the chef, but the chef also remembered it from a previous visit in 2023. The attention to detail and willingness to accommodate guest preferences made our experience even more special. The ambiance of the steakhouse strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. The dim lighting, plush seating, and elegant décor create a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels both refined and relaxed. It's the ideal setting for a special occasion or a romantic evening out. The martinis at David Burke's are top-notch. Well-crafted with just the right balance of flavors, they provide a perfect start to the meal. Whether you prefer a classic martini or something more adventurous, the bar staff delivers with precision. Now, onto the highlight of the evening-- the food. I opted for the **8oz Filet Mignon special** with lobster and white wine sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. It was seasoned just right, with a beautiful char on the outside while remaining incredibly juicy and succulent on the inside. The lobster was cooked to perfection as well--sweet, tender, and a wonderful complement to the rich white wine sauce. And the accompanying garlic broccoli? Absolutely perfect--crispy and tender, with a light seasoning that enhanced its natural flavor. My husband went for the **75-day dry-aged ribeye with peppercorn sauce**. The ribeye was a standout, with an intense, deep flavor that only dry-aging can produce. The peppercorn sauce was a delicious, creamy accompaniment that didn't overpower the meat. It was a perfect pairing, showcasing the chef's skill in balancing flavors. To top off the meal, we were delighted with a complimentary **birthday chocolate cake**. The gesture was a sweet surprise, and the cake itself was decadently rich and delicious--moist and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. David Burke's Steakhouse at Foxwoods is everything you want in a fine dining experience. The food is fantastic--well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, and creatively presented. The service is exceptional, with staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable meal. The atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable, making it an ideal choice for any occasion. Add in some fantastic martinis and a thoughtful birthday treat, and it's clear this restaurant stands out as one of the best in the area. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just treating yourself to an unforgettable meal, David Burke's Steakhouse is a dining destination you won't want to miss.

Yelp
Heading to a show at Foxwoods we made a reservation for Prime. Took a good 10 minutes to be seated past our reservation time which didn't seem like a big deal since we had two hours before our show but it was a pretty slow process the whole meal. Very nice server but you could tell she was straight out along with the rest of the staff. Calamari appetizer was ok. Table side Caesar was the best bite of the night(ouch) 72$ aged sirloin wasn't any better unfortunately than some other steaks I've had in other fine dining restaurants. Great creamed spinach and whipped potato sides. Table next to us had the prime rib that looked better for less money. Bottom line stick to the basics and you should be ok. When making a reservation, try to ask if you could sit in the back of the restaurant that packed in like sardine near the Bar area, and if you're going to a show before dinner, give yourself ample time.

Yelp
The restaurant itself is very pretty and upscale. Our waiter was fabulous and very attentive. Food was really good, steaks came out at the correct temperature and the salmon was very tasty. Side of Mac and cheese was delicious. They give free cotton candy at the end of your meal. I'd definitely return.

Yelp
My wife and I purchased tickets for a show at Foxwoods that we were looking forward to and decided to make a weekend trip out of it. Since it was to be a date night weekend, we wanted to have a special dinner. We booked a table at David Burke Prime online. We arrived a couple minutes before our reservation and quickly realized it was a good idea to book in advance. Despite the large size , the restaurant was very busy. We were impressed with the classy, upscale look of the space. We were shown to our table which was adjacent to the wine room. If you haven't seen this feature you have to check it out. Definitely something you would expect to see in Vegas. There is a good number of servers so service was efficient and professional. We ordered drinks, a mule for myself and a French martini for my wife. We scanned the menu and the wine list and even though we decided against a bottle of wine, the selection was both extensive and impressive. The drinks arrived, both well made and tasty. We put in our order and settled down to enjoy our cocktails. We chose shrimp cocktail to start then a 38 oz 40 day dry aged porterhouse plus 1 lb baked potato and garlicky sautéed spinach all to share plus a side of creamy horseradish sauce for the steak. We chose not to have the staff pre slice the steak. We did mention to each other that the noise level was a bit high. The shrimp was nicely arranged on a bed of ice and was accompanied by a cocktail sauce and what I would consider an aioli. The shrimp were listed as jumbo and they certainly were. Fresh and perfectly cooked they were a great way to start our meal. We declined the complimentary popovers but we did see other diners enjoy them. Our entree arrived on a cart which is a nice touch. Prior to it arriving, our server cleaned our table and replaced our silverware, a nice touch. The steak was cooked exactly to our liking..mid rare. It had that intense beefy flavor that dry aging really brings out. The potato was fluffy with a crispy skin and the spinach was delicious. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had plenty to bring home. My wife had noticed that other diners had received cotton candy for dessert so even though we were completely satisfied, we couldn't resist trying it. It was a fun way to top off a great meal. We will be back again when the opportunity comes up for a upscale date night, however, we will request a table with the cow patterned chairs, we were jealous that other diners were seated at them.

Yelp
Food was good, steak was slightly over temp, but still very good, great apps, especially enjoyed the short rip mac n cheese, really unique and tasty! we will probably return and try again. Recommend. I would have given a 4 plus steakhouse grade (a good grade) but, unfortunately we had to Minus 1 1/2 on our server. Hopefully our negative experience with our server was an isolated incident and not reflective of Burke's. We will try again and do recommend.

Yelp
A girls trip to Foxwoods means at least one fancy dining experience. You definitely get that here! We made the reservation for 7:30, but they were able to accommodate us earlier than that which is always nice. As we weaved back into the dining room, it was dark but where there was color and light, it was vibrant and enough. I can't begin to tell you just how delicious everything was. We got a tower for two which I had never experienced before. The seafood in there was so fresh and my favorite items were the shrimp, the tuna tartare which had a sweetness to it and the oysters. We ordered table side Caesar salad and the person making it was friendly and we had great conversation. Salad was perfect and made to order. We split a filet and whipped potatoes. The meat was melt in your mouth good. Our server was great and we had a great conversation about the music playing. I honestly didn't expect the soundtrack to be what it was, but I loved it! Think Wheezer, Van Morrison and Morrissey. Our drinks were fire. I got an Empress 75. The whole night ended with the check and a huge plate of cotton candy. Anyone who reads my reviews knows I am gluten free.. they were very accommodating and careful. My friend said the popover they served her was one of the best she had ever had! All and all so worth the time and money.
google avatar

Kawone H.

Yelp
The service was excellent but the food was lackluster overall. Flavor was missing from all of the menu items. The Caesar salad was the best of the night! Hands down. The spinach lacked garlic flavor. The mushrooms were not seasoned. The steak was...well just taste like meat. And, the Mac and Cheese just had no flavor. When the restaurant automatically put steak sauce on the table, I know it needs help. For the price, I'll pass next time!!!

Yelp
First I have to say our server, Katie, was incredible. Friendly, smart, patient - she was great. She is the only reason I'm giving two stars. Meal - not so much. Bacon appetizer was over cooked and difficult to cut. Tasty, but tough. Ordered the 75 day dry age ribeye steak. My ex-wife could have made a better steak and she's a vegetarian. It was a thin piece of meat that was undercooked (I ordered medium), barely grilled, and just slapped on a plate. No seasoning, horrible presentation, gristly, something you could get from ShopRite. Just awful for $89 (that is just for the steak). Lamb chops were smothered in a sauce that overwhelmed the flavor of the lamb - also undercooked. The ambience was just ok. Very crowded. Can of Sardines has more room - it was more of a steak mill - get 'em in, get 'em out. Def don't recommend. Michael Jordans 100% better.

Yelp
I must say I had a very delicious dinner here! Service was on point. Price were comparable to steakhouse. Staff was ver friendly. I ame witb a group of girfriends and didn't have a reservation but we were seated promptly. The ambience and decor was amazing and tasteful. We had a decent lunch so we didn't order apps but my food was on point! My steak was exquisitely a perfect medium rare. Highly recommend it Definitely coming back for more soon.

Yelp
Food was amazing, drinks we great and the complementary cotton candy was delicious. Service was beyond excellent. My only complaint was that it was freezing in there, which was probably out of their hands. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant. Stunning ambiance. Started with table side Ceasar salad. Really nice. They bring you popovers. Each person gets one. Nice touch. Didn't have for I'm trying to be gluten free! Bummer. Heard they were delicious. Had the most delicious sushi roll ever. The surf and turf roll. Wow. Very filling. So good. I even got it without the crunch and still delicious. Great service. Great wine. Loved our experience here.

Angela V.

Yelp
Whether it's breakfast or dinner this place is great! For breakfast they have a buffet option but you're also able to order off the menu which is a nice option. Their steaks and sides are amazing. The service is always great and the vibe overall is always a good time.

Yelp
We had a great meal at David Burke's tonight. We ordered off the Prix Fix menu and we certainly got our moneys worth! Meal began with a complimentary popover. Best popover I've ever had! Moved on to the French onion soup served with crunchy fried onions on top. It was perfect. Next I had the pork chop which was HUGE and served with garlicky green beans and roasted potatoes. We topped off our meal with a delicious crème brûlée. They also brought over some cotton candy with dessert. Interesting. It was a lot of food for a very reasonable price. Service was friendly and efficient. My only criticism is the noise level. Besides the loud music which is piped throughout the casinos into the restaurants there was a live show just outside. It didn't last long but it was impossible to hold a conversation. It's a good thing we were too busy eating to bother with conversation!

Yelp
Came in for a work function and had made a prior reservation, No wait we got right in. Our waitress was excellent. She was quick to get everything ordered and delivered timely and kept coming back to fill drinks and see if we needed anything. Everyone was very happy with their dishes. We had a party of 10 so not too many photos taken. My only complaint is that since things are ala carte they were putting people sides on the table so it looked like it was for anyone to grab. For instance I ordered petite filet with crab Oscar side. They put the crab at the other end of the table and I thought it was missing. Maybe just some organization on that part. Everything else was great. The cotton candy is a nice touch at the end.

Yelp
This being my wife's first time in the establishment we decided to try the buffet offered at foxwoods. We got there and the hostess seemed confused about where to seat us. A line started to form behind us. Upon sitting us down at a corner booth, it took almost 10 minutes for our server Alejandro to come to us to take our drink order. He was more than delightful and took good care of us. He was apologetic for being a little overwhelmed and taking so long. He warned me that the cappuccino machine was on the fritz and would let me know if I needed to substitute my primary choice. We were lucky that it did work. Upon receiving our food, my wife had ordered multi grain toast and received white. My potatoes were a little under cooked making my dish a little over priced. My wife's dish involved hash and still had potatoes on it also making it a little redundant in the starch. All in all I wouldn't make this place a priority to eat. Having similar results in a daivd Burke restaurant in NY.

Yelp
There's not much to say, just that it was an outstanding meal with a great atmosphere! Highly recommend before a show at Foxwoods or for a nice night out.

Yelp
Just sat at bar for 20 minutes and no one came over and there were only two other parties of two. We would never sit that long and wait, but it's my birthday and I was really looking forward to having the filet. There also was no hostess and the manager came out from the back room two or three times looked at us and did nothing. It's almost like the daytime crew doesn't want to earn any money. We've been here a few other times and the same thing. The service is horrible.

Yelp
Dined here with a friend for her birthday In September. The staff was friendly and courteous, restaurant was packed (reservations recommended!), dimmed lights-perfect if you are on a date, food was delicious! Thr onion rings are fresh and hand battered but was a little oily for me. I ordered the short ribs with mash and green beans. The meat was soo flavorful and tender! My friend had the lamb with rice and side of cream spinach and she enjoyed her meal as well. Would definitely come back for a special occasion as it is a little pricey.

Yelp
Definitely not worth the hype or the prices. We had an 8pm reservation and it was packed. They took our name but never called us. Had to go up again and then got the "oh we can seat you in just a few". Table was in the center of the room and it was so loud in there you cannot speak to whoever you are with. Felt like a cafeteria. Took about 10 minutes before anyone even came to the table. We both ordered steaks. They were good. Not great. Our server was a nice guy but running so our side we had ordered was forgotten. It did show up eventually. For over 200$ for two people it is not worth it.

Yelp
Currently the rating is 3.5 for David Burke Prime and that is what I would truly give it if allowed to give 1/2 stars. Our waitress Danielle was 5 star. Literally the biggest smile was on her face all night. My 3.0 rating comes from the experience being below what I was expecting for this place. Very expensive sides that were just ok, except for my friend who really liked her asparagus. My wife's brussels sprouts were rather hard and my baked potato was just ok. I had the Baked Clams Casino as an appetizer and it was more cracker stuffing than anything else. My friend enjoyed her Mac & Cheese appetizer and her husband seemed to really like his Wedge Salad. As for the main meals; I had a delicious Prime Rib. My wife enjoyed her Beets Salad and my friend liked her Petite Sirloin. My Buddy who is a vegetarian didn't eat much of his Mac & Cheese and tots. Because our main courses were taking so long without us saying a word, Danielle said the manager was comping a round of drinks. My carrot cake was very dry and the chocolate cake that Danielle brought with a candle on it for my Buddy's birthday was also disappointing. Ambiance is very nice but I don't think we will be back with so many other restaurants at Foxwoods.

Yelp
I can truly say, I have no idea how they have a rating less than 4.5-5 stars unless people are upset about price. The place has a great atmosphere, delicious food and great service! I'm a firm believer in 'you get what you pay for' and Prime nailed it all. I would easily match Prime to any other high end steakhouse, like Morton's, Palm, Ruth's Chris, etc. We all started with the New England Clam Chowder and it was out of this world. We then moved on to 3 Filet Mignon's and 1, 2 pound lazy lobster. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Each steak cooked and flavored to perfection. The lobster was amazing. Tender, flavorful, just magnificent. Our server was simply outstanding and then drinks and desserts were incredible. This place knocked it out of the park. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next day. Again I will say, it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for!

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of dining at David Burke prime steakhouse with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening with some stand-u out moments. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist without being overbearing then our glasses were empty and then all I need to promptly mat the staff attention to detail and fill out a special touch to our celebration ambience at David Burke steakhouse is elegant and inviting decor combined classic steakhouse elements with modern touches creating a warm sophisticated atmosphere. It was a perfect setting for celebratory evening with friends. The lighting was just right and the noise level allowed for easy conversation. The food was the highlight of the evening. We started with appetizers, including bacon and sushi rolls, which are both delicious and beautifully presented. The bacon was thick crispy and packed with flavor while the sushi rolls were fresh and well crafted for the main course I opted for the surf and turf, and my husband got the fillet the angry surf and turf was a delightful combination of flavors with perfectly good steak with succulent seafood fillet with tender, juicy and cooked perfection dish was seasoned impeccably, showcasing the quality of the ingredients, the drink selection was impressive with a variety of options to suit all tastes. The cocktails were well balanced, and expert crafted whether you prefer classic things are more creative, concoctions, or something for everyone state has provided a memorable experience, the combination of excellent service, ambience and outstanding food made a perfect choice for a special celebration. I would highly recommend recommended for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality meal in a refined setting.

Yelp
Darrell is the most amazing waiter. He was on top of his game. The prime rib was suberb. The short rib mac & cheese was divine and the star of the meal was the sourdough bread with whipped ricotta.

Yelp
This was such a nice spot to have dinner with my husband. We were promptly seated and we had a wonderful waitress. She was bubbly and cheerful and even though we had a few questions about the menu she was patient and helped us out. I would recommend distilled or sparkling water. The tap water did have a weird taste to it. My husband dis notice a mouse trap under a booth near us. Which was a little odd to see. I ordered the king crab leg sushi roll it was so deli us. The pop over bread you're served was warm and nice salty butter to top of off was great. We ordered the table side Caesar salad. That's a must do! It's enough for two people. I ordered their pork chop meal and it was cooked perfectly but wow it was on the salty side. It was enough salt to use to dip my plain baked potato. My husband ordered a steak with a side of their lobster Mac and cheese. It had a ton of lobster, you definitely got your monies worth. He stated the steak was very good not the best he's had but didn't feel like he over paid for the quality. We were too full for dessert but the complimentary cotton candy was a nice touch. Overall a solid spot but would I drive an hour here again? That's the debate between my husband and I.

Yelp
Went for the breakfast buffet. Not worth $27. Everything was cold coming off of the buffet. Service was terrible. Slow! The positive was the hostess who did try to fix the buffet situation but didn't seem to have much support. Suggest you visit another spot.

Yelp
Been going here for YEARS, and it has never disappointed. The service, waitstaff, food quality, and overall vibe is top notch every time. I have taken family and friends here for as long as I can remember. Their surf and turf option (steak and lobster) is a 10/10 pick if you're looking to start off easy. Both are cooked to perfection and gives you a little taste of everything. If you're intimidated by their entrees, their appetizers are to die for as well. We always go for the shrimp cocktail and crabcake- some of the best in all of New England. Beautifully decorated restaurant and a great time for everyone that comes. Love this place!!

Yelp
First, I have to say that the food is amazing here. Filet done perfectly, tasty popovers, and the French onion soup is literally to die for With that said I felt our party of two was pretty much ignored in favor of the larger parties that were seated around us. I feel like spending $260 on a meal for two merits having our server check on us at least once after the food arrives. If you've got a larger party, then you'll have a good time here

Yelp
My family and I ate breakfast at the steakhouse this morning and it was quite the experience and not the good kind. We were seated immediately and placed our drink order which consisted of 1 juice, 2 hot chocolates and a coffee. It took around 15/20 min for those to arrive. For our food we ordered 3 orders of pancakes and an eggs Benedict. It took over 45 minutes for the food to comes out and it was terrible! One order of pancakes had blueberries in them when we didn't order it and didn't even see it as a menu option. They were dry and tasted awful. My eggs Benedict was inedible. The Canadian bacon so thick and tough, the Hollandaise sauce thick and tangy. The best thing I had while there was my tomato juice which came from the can and thankfully couldn't be ruined by the incompetent staff. While waiting for our food we saw the manager have to address a couple of tables because of bad food and service and he didn't seem to know how to manage the situation. When the check arrived our one order for 2 pancakes was $6 whereas the order for 3 pancakes was $17! How is one additional pancake $11 more?! I would not come here again, nor would I recommend it to others. Such a disappointment, because the ambiance made us think we were really in for a treat, but it was indeed a trick!

Yelp
Came in for lobster night/my birthday on a monday. The lobster specials were fairly priced and delicious. I got the lobster carbonara and would absolutely get it again next time. Waitress was a sweetheart and even put a candle on my cake

Rebecca A.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the food, along with an exceptionally friendly and attentive Waiter, they treated us very special and gave us celebrity status that complimented the delicious Prime Rib Dinner, the French Onion Soup and the Chocolate Cake was delicious as well.. I will definitely go back .. it was a very nice Birthday Dinner.

Yelp
The service and the food have gone down since it opened! Never sit at the bar!! They are only interested in the regular customers. They pass you off to two to three people! The food especially the steaks are horrible! I guess Hell's Kitchen has taken its toll. We will never go back and will eat at Cedar's before we go the Burke's again. It's a shame too, because we always looked forward to dinning there. But since 2020, it's gone so far down.

Yelp
Service was great!! Sat at the bar! Bartender was awesome! Nice lighting too. Food was ok. First tried to pass off a 1/2" steak of some sort as a filet mignon second time was ok Not sure if they understand med not rare Second steak was definitely a much better cut but never received any steak sauce and neither piece had any flavor at all.baked potato was very dry but mashed was really good and tasty! Highly priced for what it is.
