David Mellor

David Mellor is an excellent shop. I have been a customer for 35 years. Their selection lasts from both practical and aesthetic point of views. Today, I would like to review the Kistikari apron in particular. It has the David Mellor attention to how an implement looks and how it lasts. Distinctive and carefully thought.

The only thing I’ve ever done here is getting my kitchen knives sharpened which they do extremely well and at a bargainous price. Nonetheless the people who work here must be some of the nicest and friendliest people alive. Always a pleasure to go in and poke around. They have sales occasionally.

I am very disappointed with the customer service level (of lack thereof) during my recent visit to the store. We've always had great service, but unfortunately, this was not the case during my last visit. I would definitely avoid being served by Veronica (I believe this was her name).

Amazing kitchen shop. And surprisingly good value considering it is very centrally located in London. Tip: I have often found the same item here much more cheaply than at John Lewis Peter Jones across the square so always work looking here as well!

Reassuringly the same over the decades I have been a customer. Nothing cheap, but as someone who wants to buy once only, everything is quality. Gorgeous makers work stocked.
