Since my family moved to Nassau County - we have been her 7 months now and every Friday night we order from here The food is amazing Love their pizza Tonite we ordered hero’s We order a variety of hot heroes and split them Tonite we ordered meatball, eggplant and chicken cutlet parm and a salad The food is hot , great portions and delicious !

My husband and I went here one afternoon for an impromptu lunch / dinner it was about 3:30. The menu is huge! The portions were huge! Decent wine list. We got a plate of clams that were good but definitely not oreganata. I'm not sure what kind of sauce it was. I could take or leave them. We shared a Caesar salad which was large and enjoyable. I got the Chicken Romano and it was sooo good! I got seasoned vegetables to go with it instead of pasta, which we're all so nice. My husband always gets the chicken parm. He didn't like the sauce that came on the side of spaghetti. Overall, I would definitely go back to try something else.

The food and staff at DaVinci’s were fantastic. We hosted my sister-in-laws baby shower here. The space is a good size, the managers and hostess were very attentive from the booking process to the day of event. The staff made sure everyone was checked on frequently for beverages, refilled bread baskets, helped cut up and served cake/coffee and everything you’d expect and more. They were extremely flexible when our guest count changed, understanding of our needs and made sure the whole party was taken care of. Guests loved everything from caprese salad to chopped honey mustard salad, the chicken meatballs, and fried ravioli apps. A few guests had espresso martinis and said they were delicious. One of our favorites of everything was the classic penne ala vodka, so flavorful, filling but didn’t feel heavy and overwhelming like some other places. Haven’t had a good italian meal in the area in a while, but this will definitely be my new go to spot. Whether going for lunch or dinner, or need a good party space for an event. Highly recommend!!!

First , these drinks were amazing! We got the limoncello cheesecake martini and we also got espresso martinis ! 10/10 the drinks, the service, the vibe 🙌🏽. Owner was so warm and welcoming .We enjoyed our night , definitely will be back soon !

I came in with a large group from the funeral home down the block. We were welcomed right away. Our group got a little bigger and they changed the table right away. The service was fast and friendly. There is a small parking lot on the side. There is plenty of street parking. The Long Island Railroad is across the street and that has parking as well. Jimmy was our server and he was excellent. I had the chicken francese, it was really good.

Nice place to stop and enjoy a fresh, hot Italian dinner if you are in the Jones Beach area. We stopped by on our way back from the Magic of the Lights show. Place is nicely set up for the post-COVID era - well separated tables, lots of space, large interiors. Food was fresh and hot. The filet of some, calamari, seafood linguini, and the chicken Francese were the best of our picks. The pasta in garlic & oil was a little too deep in the butter / oil sauce, but still tasty. The only less-than-ideal situation was the fire alarm kicking off three times during our brief stay for dinner. Hopefully they are able to fix the heating issues and get it sorted out shortly. Would love to visit again!

DaVinci’s always lives up to my high expectations for service, ambiance and delicious and interesting dinners! Ginna, our favorite waitress is the best in every way. She always takes excellent care of us and makes us feel special. Highly recommend!

Jimmy and I go there all the time. The people are wonderful. The bartender Jeff is amazing. You get great service and the portions are huge. I will totally recommend this place to my friends and family. Margaret/Jimmy

One of the better restaurants in the area. We had the tri color pizza and it was great. I especially liked the white slices. The brussel sprouts were very good too. The chicken cacciatore was a huge portion. Decently priced and very friendly service. Great spot for families. Will order again.

Thought I'd give them another chance, ordered a half dozen baked WHOLE clams, out of 6, 3 had NO CLAM, Just a red (?) soggy bread mixture soaking in broth, HORRIBLE! My meal Linguine Puttanesca was decent, but way too salty, I know Capers, Olives and Anchovies are salty and my favorites, but it's the sauce here, it is always too salty. Kuddos to the bartender Jeff who made an amazing Espresso Martini. Most likely never eat there again, food is never consistent.

DaVinci has both a pizzeria and a restaurant. Tuesday night is pasta night, $19.99 for a meal on the pasta menu, a salad, dessert and coffee. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the servers and hosts are professional and courteous. The Penne Pollo Caprese was delicious and their coffee was brewed nice and strong. The cheesecake was delicious.

Since the ownership of this restaurant changed hands a few years ago it's been downhill. The culmination of the destruction of their reputation happened last week. I had an event scheduled for last weekend for a not for profit organization celebrating cancer survivors. The restaurant has been closed for over a month with electrical issues and a dept of health issue. No one from the restaurant contacted me to tell me that they could not hold my event. They left me stranded the night before the event. I contacted them over a week ahead of the event and then as it got closer. Never got a response. They took my deposit and have not returned it. Dispicable.

Our home town go to Italian restaurant, we generally sit at the bar and have dinner or some app's. Nice bar area, very comfy! Food is generally very good, I love the cold seafood salad, the eggplant stack and white bean soup. Service is outstanding with a very friendly staff. Nice place to stop in for a martini and a snack!

Loved the food and drinks-great menu!! We had the pasta fagioli and the baked clams. For dinner we had the chicken Isabella, the chicken Mona Lisa the eggplant and the pork chop. We ordered the French martini, espresso martini and 2 other specialty martinis. The waitstaff was a little off kilter-I felt they were under attentive-might have just been an off night but they need to up their game in that department The bartender was lovely and actually came to our table to serve us when she noticed something was amiss.

Another wonderful meal at DaVinci's. This time we had a fabulous dinner for 4 to celebrate Mothers Day. All of us enjoyed our appetizers and entrees immensely. Service was excellent once again thanks to Melissa. Great Atmosphere, delicious food. We'll be back for the next celebration.

live in the area and come here all the time. It's that perfect combination of warm and romantic and also super kid friendly (I come with my 3). My kids like to draw on the table cloths and have pizza and pasta. I like the fish and chicken dishes. Filet of sole Oreganato is tops and I'm picky with my seafood, growing up catching my own. They get their fish daily from two cousins in Freeport. I also love the marsala and the franceses combo and anything parm. They're always so friendly and genuinely happy to see you when you come in. Jenna usually waits on us and treats the kids like she's family. Definitely one of my favorites

This restaurant has one of the most comprehensive Italian menus I have ever seen. The food portions are generous, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place is immaculate. We love our bartenders and waitresses and waiters. It's always a great night Da Vincis! Highly recommend!

Food is pretty good. Usually not busy. And service is good, no complaints. The ambiance is nice on Saturdays, they have live music (it is loud since the place is small) and even without any music the place is very cozy. Overall 3.9/5.

The food is okay. The pizza used to be some of the best on Long Island, but it's gone downhill. The service is good. The restaurant itself feels quite dated though.

I don't usually leave reviews but felt like I needed to. I Decided to give DaVinci's a try on a Tuesday night. I was greeted by the staff, particularly the bartender, who turned out to be the owner's daughter. Her genuine hospitality, accompanied by a warm welcoming personality and inviting smile, stood out to me. I Saw the Vibrant new special menu and got the mussels and clams, they were delicious. Fresh, flavorful, served in a generous portion. Besides the food what really sold me was meeting the owner and his daughter. You could tell right away that they weren't just in it for the business; they genuinely care about their community and their customers. My new go to Italian Joint.

I hadn't been here in years due to the "no slices" in the dining room policy, which was ridiculous when my kids were young and really didn't eat too much... unless of course you went to school with the waitress, and then it was okay ... I was told there was new ownership, urged to try it again since the food was very good... when I saw them on Too Good To Go I decided to give them another shot... I was able to sample six different slices of their specialty pies and they were all amazing! I even tried non-traditional styles like Buffalo Chicken and BBQ Chicken, and I have to admit I enjoyed them. I'll definitely be back, discount or not!

Hands down the worst pizza I have ever had. The sauce tastes like jar sauce, it's undercooked, tastes stale.

The food was delicious. Service was a little slow, perhaps due to the large groups that night. We were 4. A nice neighborhood place.

Was here two different times and forgot to write a review. Was here for a family party, and then my birthday dinner with friends. The restaurant is pretty. I like the decor a lot. We had caesar salad, rigatoni ala vodka, chicken piccata, and one other chicken dish. I've also had their fried calamari, and their baked artichokes. I love their vodka sauce and the artichoke! The service was kind of questionable both times. They have a young staff that doesn't seem to understand or know what we were asking for. Although very nice, they just didn't seem to understand. Not sure if there was a language barrier there. When it was my birthday dinner, they only had two types of desserts left. They were out of most of the options on the menu. Which I found odd and a bit of a bummer. There parking lot is okay. If you park in the lot, park your car facing in, or you will get a ticket.

waitress sweet food terrible---------my chicken scarp the worst-different from what they show online my wife's steak fat and raw..charge extra for garlic and oil on pasta which i never saw before anywhere on the groupon itself does not say the two entrees only on the groupon online when speaking about the restaurant it does would NOT in any way recommend plus they are illegally charging 3.99% on debit card sales whoever they paid to write dishonest reviews should be fined

The service here was outstanding, not to mention the delicious calamari And my visit was complete with the amazing ambiance of the waterfall and and amazing staff and waiters

Haven't been here for food since before pandemic But I highly highly recommend their grandma pie Always made well done bottom brown as per my request Delicious pie that is not too heavy even after having four slices I always keep the box open whe bringing it home so it doesn't continue to cook / steam

Ate here twice about a month ago with a friend visiting from Florida. She wanted to go here and thought it was good. I lived in the area on & off for 40+ years. Never went here before & never will. The place is dark & dingy. The food was horrible. Both times!! What a waste of money.

Service was fair, young waitress didn't seem to communicate well, food was good, but it was disappointing they only had a couple of desserts, since menu shows really yummy ones.

Came to Island Park for a quick visit today and ended up in this delightful pizza place. Great pizza and the nicest people.

Have been going 5here for over 15 years and am sorry to say I will no longer go there. Tonight was a great disappointment. The food and the service was terrible. I order my usual Filet of sole over angel hair pasta with the same sauce. The fis h portion was reduced fron 2 filets to one The filet and pasta were dry and the waitress never returned for me to request Parmigiano cheese for the pasta. The fish was loaded with oregano and I hardly touched it. I orderedinnestrone soup which came 20 minutes after the main course was served and it was totally watered down. When the waitress finally returned I politely complained and she gave me the check and said thank you. I paid my check and left. This not the same Davincis since was sold. I for one will never go back

The Food sucks / The New Guy that started a month ago who works behind the counter is horrible ! The pizza looks like shit my app wouldn't open and he couldn't give me a minute and took another customer order and had an attitude! Ive been in the restaurant for over 40 years . I do not recommend this pizzeria and I got sick from this establishment! This place has to go out of business it's horrendous!!!!

Very great food. The food was big and filling. The server was nice and quick. Old school real Italian. Lots of options in the area and this is a standout.

Favorite local Italian restaurant! Moved to Long Beach recently and so happy to have found our new go to place. They have great chicken specials on Thursday nights. Definitely a must try place.

DIRTY BANDAID FOUND IN FOOD! I used to always order from da Vinci's because it is close to home and they usually have great food. This time, I found a bandaid wrapped around a rigatoni in my meal. I am disgusted by this and will NOT be ordering from this establishment ever again. Refunded for meal, but the damage was already done. My husband and I were throwing up immediately afterward.

The comment thanking me for allowing them to make it right is total B.S. they didn't make anything right by me no one tried too reach out to me to resolve this or to even apologize for the way I was spoken to. At this point I will never order from them again and I will continue to tell everyone I know what a terrible experience I had. Davinci would do well to contact someone and ensure they resolved the situation before posting a comment only enraging a dissatisfied customer even more.

Wow! Was in the area for my birthday and wanted a solid Italian meal to celebrate. I let my yelpers help me narrow down to this restaurant and i was not disappointed! They are meeting with high measures of sanitation and social distancing due to the pandemic, with spaced seating indoors and outdoor seating as well. Let's get to the food! For starters we ordered the chef special scallops in Gorgonzola sauce that was divine. The amazing calamari perfectly crisp with the awesome anchovy mayonnaise and the baked clams that were really tasty. Service by Dana was superb she was attentive, delightful and made some awesome suggestions. I went with my 2 nieces so we went with a few entrees to share them. We ordered the chef chicken carroza special with risotto. Chicken stuffed with prosciutto, mozzarella, asparagus and roasted peppers what can I say? It was amazing! I ordered the veal picata with a side of penne a la vodka that was perfect! My other niece ordered the orechetti pasta with sausage, and broccoli rab that was to die for! For dessert a beautiful chorus of happy birthday to cannolis, tiramisu, and cheesecake. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday dinner. The entire staff, Mamager Al, amazing Dana, were such a pleasure and for sure I'll be back. Do yourself a favor if your in the area and go and enjoy some great food and vibes! Thank you again!

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in this area! Came here last night for a dinner after a long work week. I ordered a dozen baked clams, a Cobb salad (with no beets!) and a chicken parm! Everything was great, except for the breadsticks which seemed a little stale. I order a Pinot noir to drink and my boyfriend had a toasted beer from a fresh keg which we really appreciated. Our server was also very sweet and attentive as well as the rest of the waitstaff who were quick to refill our waters and helped to keep the table clean. Will definitely return! Maybe for the shrimp monachina which I also had on a previous occasion.

Second time here to celebrate an early Valentine's Day and once again it did not disappoint! The salad was fresh and simple with olive & vinegar. Reminded me of my grandmother's salad! Had the stuffed rigatoni which was hot, delicious and stuffed with 3 cheeses! So good and plenty to take home! Will be back!!

Davinci's , what's has happened to you? We were steady delivery customers for years. We've noticed a decline and tonight clinched our decision to switch restaurants. Here's why: 1) I called when the delivery was 10 minutes late. The phone person said he left. She was right, but I shouldn't have had to call. 2) the two slices ordered were delivered cold . Had to put those in the toaster oven. 3) Snapple was ordered but not delivered. 4) Caesar salad croutons were out of a box. BTW, my husband said his meatball hero was "meh." I should note that I haven't had pizza in six months (serious health reasons) but got permission from my surgeon today. Oh how I craved that pizza and salad. To the person who monitors these comments, please don't give me a pat reply. This isn't the first time my order was messed up, but it will be the last time. Arrivederci, Davinci's

I had a large pie with extra cheese well done 2nite, it was fabulous...hot and sloppy plus the dough and crust were so tender and tasty! Happy girl!!

I didn't take pictures and I wasn't impressed. I had a meatball parm hero and it was just mediocre at best. Service was ok. We had to ask for the table to be wiped down. I don't think their air conditioning was working and it was super hot inside. The guy tried to turn a small fan in our direction. Not fun to eat while you're sweating. My friend had baked cheese ravioli and it was inundated with cheese and difficult to eat. There are too many better places around for me to return here.
