A Perfect Scottish Send-Off: Davio’s at Logan International Airport!
As three women preparing for a long-awaited flight to Scotland, we were looking for a relaxing and high-quality meal to kick off our adventure—and Davio’s at Logan International Airport delivered an absolutely exceptional experience that exceeded all expectations.
From the moment we were seated, the service was truly excellent—attentive, prompt, and genuinely friendly. Our server ensured our glasses were never empty and offered thoughtful suggestions from the menu, making us feel immediately at ease despite the airport hustle outside.
The food was nothing short of superb. The tuna tartare dishes were prepared with care and tasted wonderfully fresh, a rare feat for airport dining. The pasta dish with applewood bacon and chicken was delish! Whether it was the quality of the ingredients or the perfect execution, every bite felt like a sophisticated pre-vacation treat, a true highlight before our transatlantic journey.
However, what truly elevated our visit was the truly over-accommodating manager. There was a small, unanticipated need we had regarding our seating and timing, and the manager stepped in not just to solve the issue, but to do so with such grace, warmth, and genuine commitment to our happiness and the scratch kitchen of her restaurant. Their effort went above and beyond the call of duty, ensuring our pre-flight meal was stress-free and memorable.
In summary: Davio is a rare airport gem. If you are looking for excellent service, delicious food, and a dining experience where you feel genuinely cared for—especially if you are lucky enough to encounter their greatly appreciated and over-accommodating manager, Bensen—make this your destination before you fly. It was the perfect, high-note start to our trip to Scotland.
Highly, highly recommended.
