The Best Steakhouses in Boston | Eater Boston

"Davio’s isn’t strictly a steakhouse — indeed, it’s more an Italian-slash-seafood restaurant than anything — but the menu at both its Back Bay and Seaport locations features a formidable list of steaks, including wagyu, short ribs, and aged ribeye. Based locally, the small chain has expanded across the country." - Erika Adams

Best Ways to Save Money at Expensive Boston Restaurants | Eater Boston

"The standard menu at this Northern Italian steakhouse with multiple locations, with its steaks, pasta, salad, and more, advertises some pricey selections, like the Maine lobster with creamy mashed potatoes and green beans for $55, but for a slightly more affordable experience, sidle up to the bar and ask for the bar menu — a selection of sliders and primi piatti priced around $15 to $20 make for a solid dinner on their own. Also check out the to-go shop, offering breakfast items, paninis, soups, salads, and more." - Samantha Maxwell

Google
Great food, great service! We’re visiting Boston just for a few days and were especially looking for good risotto nearby. We’re grateful to find Davio’s within a short walk for an impressive dining experience on a Friday evening! We had the lobster bisque, New England clam chowder, beef carpaccio, veal with mushroom risotto and the lobster risotto. Everything is very delicious and beyond our expectations. Well done!

Spectacular food in a cozy upscale ambience. The restaurant does tend to get loud in the evening but we were in a private room and it was perfect. Service was excellent. I got the arugula salad and salmon - both were exceptional. The tiramisu is creamy but light.

A very stiff lipped place with no sense of hospitality. I visited based on reviews. However, the reviews are way overrated!! We had a reservation so it was easier to find a place. The hosts at the reception were warm, but the server (a lady) was extremely hostile and indifferent. She behaved as if we weren't capable of giving her a good tip!! The food and the ambiance were good.. It's an expensive fine dining restaurant. The food quantity is less for the price We asked for a half bottle of zinfandel and were rudely informed that it's our stock!! So we settled for Merlot instead. We ordered the chicken liver fry for starters and 10oz beef steak with blue cheese mashed potatoes. The food was delicious.

Fabulous dining experience. They have the best separate gluten free menu I have seen with delicious options. Service was outstanding and non-intrusive. It was absolutely delightful and elegant.

I had a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. The food was well-presented and flavorful; my steak was cooked perfectly. The service was good, but it didn't fully meet my expectations for the type of restaurant and its location. Additionally, the background music, which was primarily 90s pop, did not create the relaxing atmosphere I had anticipated from a 5-star establishment.

I recently dined at Davio’s Italian Steakhouse near Back Bay, and overall, it was a great experience! The standout for me was the clam chowder—absolutely fantastic and some of the best I’ve had in Boston. My steak was flavorful and well-prepared, though it wasn’t cooked quite the way I prefer. Still, the quality of the meat was excellent. As for desserts, they were decent but didn’t blow me away. I did enjoy the eclair—it was a lovely treat to end the meal. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming. I’d definitely recommend it for a nice night out, especially if you’re a fan of seafood and steak.

AMAZING gluten free pasta I have had in a very long time! They really know how to look after those with food intolerances and the service outstanding! I felt very well looked after! Would highly recommend visiting here while you are in Boston!

I visited here after seeing thr titanic exhibit. Fantastic branzino and brussel sprouts too. The sav blanc was crisp and nice pairing with the branzino. The ginger ice cream cobbler was good too. The popover is the best! Great service at the bar too.
