We catered the food for our event and it was very pleasant experience. Everything was ready on time, food was really tasty, everyone loves it and bread was nicely cooked stayed fresh and warm when we start eating. We bought nihari, chicken karahi, chicken biryani and gajar ka halwa all 10/10.

The quality of the food is just spectacular!! Excellent service! I haven't had Indian food this good in the US ever! I had the goat paya, beef Biryani, beef nihari, liver fry and Naan. All home runs! This is my new go-to place! Kudos Faisal!

Awesome portion of briyani with such a reasonable price. Awesome customer service. Loved everything on the menu. This place is highly recommended for Indian/Pakistani food lovers like me. 👍

I order a chicken biryani for togo and I came home open the box to eat what I noticed was bad smell like rotten chicken.when I call to them they said sometime smell comes in chicken🙏. what a joke😡.when somebody order biryani plz make sure that smell in the chicken.⚠️

This place really has potential, the food was priced pretty well, it tasted good! The two guys working in the back were awesome, we even had a small conversation with them. I went there with my two kids and my uncle.. all enjoyed. This place really needs to be cleaned up, if it was dressed up nicer, this place could really really be awesome.

Although price wise food is good. I recently received one of the worst attitudes by Dawat guys. I went to dawat today and no one was there on the counter. Then I noticed 2 people inside the kitchen and called them to order from the counter. They also saw me and After calling 3 times one of the persons responded with frustrated voice ‘coming coming’. This is very poor service and I got irritated and left the place. Remember customers are paying and ordering food not getting for free.

Amazing food and very friendly staff. I love going into a restaurant when you can tell that a lot of locals hanging out there.

I came here for Ramadan post-iftar meal. They had their buffet, tandoori chicken, 2 types of chicken saalan, some form of biryani and some vegetable dishes. Not one dish could be said that it was ok. The food was cold, tasteless and and just horrible. If it wasn't Ramadan and time running out to go for prayer I would never stop here. And frankly being hungry was better. I couldn't even stomach the zeera-rice in their biryani. And it was about $20 a person. Ive been to hole-in-the wall places and one can excuse the decor, but this place was ridiculous. So disappointed.

Commonly doesn't have any actual menu and is more like a buffet. Dawat is a small family owned place. It's mostly frequented by Middle Easterners so that's a sign this has authentic stuff. Fairly good prices mostly. They have many favorites from this cuisine such as biryani and things like that. Frequently has order at the counter. It had some things behind the counter the last time here. They were only doing buffet style. It had some vegetarian items. There were pakoras and samosas. It's about $8 a pound. Well, at least that's what we deciphered from the sign. It tasted fresh. The food is mostly the kind you can eat in the street, like street style. Certainly it's authentic. It seems mostly foreigners come here. The language barrier can be the hardest thing to deal with if ordering by phone so just come in and point at whatever.

Dawat is a pretty much run of the mill, Hyderabadi food place. Does good take away business. On Friday afternoon they have reduced price Chicken Biryani. Ambiance is simple, utility set up. Order at the cash counter and they will bring the food to your table. They are flexible to alter items to suit your taste. I would rate their Hyderabadi dishes 3.5, they will need to improve their quality, as a number of new very good restaurants have come up near by. Their quantity of food per dish is pretty large. I do go there often for take outs.

This joint is the definition of "hole in the wall" - there's nothing impressive about the interior, but you can see this place has a steady business of take out. Despite the sparse decor and environment, the food is absolutely on-point. We often get take out from here, and they are consistently good. Their dishes aren't fancy or fusion but the taste is absolutely remarkable, and to me, this is what top tier home cooking tastes like. Absolutely love this place and highly recommend!

I love the Birani and the goat. Has great taste. Definitely a Dasie place, they could make the the place more presentable and cleaner. But the food taste is definitely there. I would definitely order take out from them. The food has authentic taste, especially if you have a craving then this is a good take out place!!.

I had been going to this place for the last few months. It's a truly a hidden gem. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and the chai is always hot. l recently attended an event there and they really went above and beyond. Some of favorite items are grilled fish, mutton qorma, daal and the family bbq platter. We will certainly be back.

Great food under new Management. You might have tried it under the old management but if you look at all the reviews from 2020, it's been spot on. In fact, it's become my go-to place for desi food. Some of the things that I have tried which are excellent are Haleem (The Best), Nihari, Pulao, Biryani, and their grilled items. Everything is priced extremely cheap compared to the quality of food. Biryani is a bit bland for my taste so I always get the hydrabadi mirchi ki chutni on the side. I urge you to pick up some Haleem and other items to go if cant dine in. You will not be disappointed.

These are same owners as Pick N Move but new name. I figured I'd give it a shot. It seems they did step up their game after the name change. Chicken biryani had good flavor and did not have a stale taste. It could have used a little more spice. The burgers were standard and did not seem like they were frozen patties wanted a little more flavor but the kids enjoyed the burgers. The ground beef pizza was fresh and kids enjoyed it. It tasted just as good the next day after heating in the microwave. The chicken tikka was a little pricy but the portion was good and flavor was good. I did carry out for all this and they told me 30 mins. It was ready in less ready 30 mins. I will definitely go back again.

Here is how we rated the dishes: Chicken biryani: 4 stars. The biryani was flavorful with a bit of spice and they were not stingy with the chicken. Mutton biryani: 2 stars. This didn't taste like biryani at all. It felt like they took white rice and mixed goat masala with it and it has been cooked separately. The rice was mushy. They were not stingy with the meat. Veggie samosa: 3 stars. Not great, not terrible. Beef samosa: 3 stars. Not great, not terrible Naan: 4 stars. It was fresh and priced right. Service overall was okay, they have cheap prices for take out than dine in.

Lots of foood and very flavorful. We loved the butter chicken and rice biryani and the samosas were huge.

Okay where to begin. First of all, they have different prices for dine-in vs carryout. We thought maybe the portions are different, but upon asking the guy at the front... the up-charge is a service charge for dining in?! What in the world. Okay fine, since you're charging that, I would expect them to bring food to my table and clean up the table afterwards. Nope. They call out your food at the front and then expect you to clean up the table afterwards! There is even a sign that so. Total joke. The service itself was incredibly slow with no sense of urgency. The food was good so I'll give them that. This place is a solid 3.5 stars if you're carrying out, but their dine in experience leaves much to be desired.

New Management! Awesome food with lot of choice from a new menu. Includes Pakistani and Indian food with burgers n pizza, fried chicken.we ordered the mutton combo, it comes with a chilli chicken, lentils and mutton biryani along with a nan and soda for only $8.99, a handsome portion . My wife and I like to support local businesses in the area; however, we have been very disappointed with the local ethnic restaurants who tout themselves as serving authentic dishes. What a farce and disrespect to ethnic cuisine and to those chefs who actually take pride in their cooking!!! We went to Dawat Restaurant today to get lamb biryani and a vegetable dish to go. It was quite obvious, the lamb (mutton) was old and sitting in the fridge for a while. It was dry, tasteless, and the center of the meat pieces was even cold. The whole biryani dish was dry, tasteless, and sloppyly thrown together. The vegetable dish was swimming in oil, like having vegetables with my oil dish, instead of a little oil in my vegetable dish. Additionally, we were the only customers in the place, but still there were uncleaned tables from previous customers and dirty dishes piled up near the cash register, which left us questioning the hygiene of this restaurant. This is the first and last time we will patronize this establishment!!!

We have been ordering fried chicken 10 pieces for a long time form this place and usually it has been good. However this time when we ordered 5 trays (50 pieces) I was told that the price will be 12.99. I was okay with it expecting the same quality. However I was sorely disappointed with the quality and quantity of food. They had the smallest chicken pieces possible. It seemed that one breast piece had been cut into multiple small pieces. The aim here was to just get the number of pieces to 10 while making sure that these were the smallest pieces available. This is the last time I am ordering from this place. Very disappointed.

I catered from here for an office meeting because the food is Halal. Placed order with Sajid who gave a discount for our large order and communicated well. I will say the food was good. Spicy! Many of the employees thought it was great!! They would have gotten 5 stars if they were not almost a half hour late delivering! We ordered the Rotisserie chicken with rice, as for the other items they were all wraps not sure how that was the case, maybe thats how its served but I ordered steak and chicken burrito, philly steak and philly chicken, cheese burger and grilled chicken platters and all were wraps not sandwiches. It was enough for approx 30 people.

Update They now have new deals and great pricing Their new and improved rotisserie chicken is very delicious, just call 60 to 90 minutes ahead, made per request only and is $7.99. Saw this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Went there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was empty, the displays screens were off, and a man at register. I had to ask him if this place was open, because you don't see restaurant quiet and empty often. So luckily they were open. I got the Gyros Nachos, while my family tried the Gyros Sandwich, and Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The food came out quick which was a good thing. The food quantity compared to the price was satisfying. The food in general was good. The only feedback I like to give is to put a little more taste in everything. The food was good, but its seems like the spices are slightly lacking, that could make the burgers better. Overall not a bad place, I would definitely go back and try other sandwiches.

My dad picked up a tray of Haleem from this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. The taste and quality is consistent and never disappoints. The quantity is great too.

Very tasty well seasoned and well cooked beef burrito everything in the burrito was balanced in amount the green tomatillo sauce is very tasty ,pizza's are always good but this place will be my must for burritos if they make them the same way in the future too

Bismillaah. As salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaah if you are a believer. Inshaa' Allaah this finds you and your family in a way that is best in pleasing Allaah. The chalupa, mango shake and cheese fries I enjoyed maa shaa' Allaah!

We tried this place because it's a halal restaurant that serves some Mexican food. The quesadilla, chicken burrito, and cheeseburgers were delicious and the portions were generous. We also ordered chicken wings which the kids devoured. We'll definitely be going back.

Been here 5 times now and there food is always fresh. Tastes pretty good and there quantity is really good as well. There tacos were good. Burritos are good. Burgers are good. Now I am just getting hungry thinking about this place.

This is my new favorite fast food place in Lombard! It has Mexican food and American food ranging from burritos to burgers! I love that it is 100% zabiha halaal (hfsaa certified)! My favorite here is definitely the gyros cheeseburger and the steak tacos! I heard that the Philly cheesesteak is also really good I love going during lunch specials since I go there often and won't end up breaking my bank

Steak tacos were amazing! If you get one of the iftar combos (great deal) during Ramadan, some of them come with a sample if it. So, so good! I have yet to try a lot of their items but so far so good.

Great food! My kids who are extremely picky loved the food. Family friendly, fast and the service was great too. If you are looking for burgers, gyro, wings this is the place!! The tacos are a must have!!

Visited Pick N Move on a referral from a buddy. Did not disappoint! I tried the steak tacos, gyros and philly cheese steak, all fantastic. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

I'm not sure why this place gets such high reviews. I ordered an Italian Beef and cheese fries off of Uber eats and the food is not good. First of all the talian beef is the smallest italian beef I've ever ordered from a restaurant. The beef is super dry and the gravy is just super salty water. The fries are barely passable and the cheese sauce is like some weird oil that barely tastes like cheese sauce.

I tried the chicken Philly Cheese Steak and had fries the first time I was here. Unexpected for sure. Delicious! The seasoned fries, OMG, seriously very fresh and tasty. I took the family the following weekend and everyone loved it. Everything is affordable, I think its cheap. Very generous portions.

First time coming here. Their burger w/gyros is pretty good. However, do not get their Nachos and fries. Fries was uncooked and not crispy at all. For their Nachos, hardly put any cheese and ground beef. We were all pretty disappointed.

Ordered takeout from here and sandwiches and sides were excellent, and the wings are a 100% recommend. Salt levels in the pepperoni pizza will send your blood pressure through the roof though.

Food was GREAT! The Philly cheesesteak were super awesome, not to mention the Cheese burger with gyro and fries. One thing I would strongly recommend is having a a variety of different condiments/sauces. The burger was juicy, but it might've been more flavorful if there were some hot sauces out to add.

We called to place an order and the employee on the phone was rude, didn't take my name down. When we went to pick up the pizza, I was told they didn't take the order...Terrible service, low quality pizza. Also, the price online did not reflect in store.

Recently opened about two weeks ago. Decided to try this place, I ordered the Gyro Cheeseburger and let me tell you it was better than I expected. The owner and cook are very friendly and happy to take suggestions. I really enjoyed my experience here and definitely will be coming back here.

Absolutely love Pick N Move. I have had a ​great experience every time I have gone​​ in. The food is always fresh and hot, and the fries are amazing. My favorites are the chicken burger and philly chicken sandwich. Definitely, the best burgers and sandwiches I have ever tasted. Highly recommend!!​

Wow . Zero stars. The pizza was horrible. Cold and old tasting. The tacos were no where near what I ordered and the chicken was big and undercooked. My main concern was the super cold ass pizza. I waited over a hour for this bs?? Two thumbs down.
