Dawat Restaurant Norbury

I bought my Greek friends here for dinner, they wanted ‘authentic Pakistani food’ somewhere when I eat regularly with my parents…so then you know it’s good, being Asian myself. The Kahrai was amazing and the chicken biriyani, you must try the kheer it is chefs kiss, there are so many great dishes to choose from here…also the mango lassi. Also the music wasn’t too loud so you could have a conversation and hear each other. Mariam attended to our every need, brilliant service from her.

Decor is beautiful. As we say fantasy here at the table we have a waterfall fountin alike marbled table, as you eat, you watch the water stream past, its relaxing soothing and satisfying. Food is great, good for shared groups. Quality meat was good, well seasoned and spiced.

Fantastic food and wonderful service! The food at Dawat in Norbury is always amazing full of flavour and freshly prepared. Every time we visit, we’re impressed by the quality and taste. A special mention goes to the waitress Maryam she’s always incredibly kind, polite, and helpful to me and my mum. She gives great recommendations and always makes us feel welcome. We truly enjoy coming here as a family and always leave happy and satisfied. Highly recommended

The service was fast and quick from taking order to food delivery Marium was very friendly and explained all the food very patiently when taking order. Very good food .lovely ambience .. and we had a perfect time. Defo recommend this place again ..👍

Came here with friends and had and excellent experience as it was my first time. From the second you enter the restaurant you can smell the food being cooked and all the herbs and spices floating through the air. The staff were well mannered and polite!! We had a few different dishes and I enjoyed the lamb dishes which shocked me as I’m not a great fan of lamb, but I was very juicy!! I enjoyed the dessert fully!! It was like a smooth rice pudding with nuts sprinkled on top… it was delicious!!!! I’ll definitely be back again!!!

Excellent! The lamb shish kebabs or whatever they were called, were absolutely amazing. So tasty and flavoursome. The curry we had was great too. Reasonably priced too. We ate well!

I'm a regular customer. I bought 80 pounds worth of food. Me and my whole fam got so ill from it. For my dad ambulance had to be called. Had to go toilet non stop. We called n spoke to dawat. Got told they wil do a replacment food. Went couple weeks later. The guy was that served was nice but it was not 80 pounds value. We got given half kg of saag meat. Half of karahi. Half kg kheer (which seemed old) but when we got home and saw the food it was normal some containers. No way close to Half kg. Karahi tasted a bit off. Saag was ok. But unfortunately this place will now be avoided. As a regular customer yes they dealt with it but they knew we was traveling so fod wise we got lied abiut the quality and quantity.

Amazing service, the staff were so funny and kind and very patient as we too a while to order. The food was delicious and the lamb dishes were divine.i highly recommend
