"Glen's Garden Market, Dupont Circle Downtown by Friendly Design Co.. If you live near Dupont, you’ve been to Glen’s at least once. A small grocery concentrated on hyperlocal products, Glen’s has a little bit for everyone - from fresh sandwiches, organic produce, to craft brews. Reasonably priced and generous on portions, Glen’s is made even better by its relaxed atmosphere and frequent events."

Such a cute place to pop in for a quick drink or lunch. We stopped here after our walk around the town and had a delicious prosciutto pie. The service was great and very quick. It’s a cute market for different products as well. Seating area outside that allows your pet to sit in as well. Loved this place ! There are many different options as well, hot or cold salads, chicken and more !

Glen’s is a bit pricy but carries great products. The multi-sale lunch for $10 is delicious. THeir sandwiches and pizzas take forever so don’t come if you’re in a hurry. Taco Tuesday (3 tacos for $6) has gotten smaller but is still delicious.

Beside's being a gem in the neighborhood for groceries and takeaways, its cafe serves some of the best hot sandwiches and prepared items. We stopped by here for a few items but also their Italian Pork sandwich on their made on the homemade Focaccia (both fluffy and crispy) that's literally dripping with flavor. Also, the 'Pizza Pie Brassica Oh My!' with a perfectly crispy crust, fun cauliflower, and whipped tahini! It's finger licking good! ig: @harshaeats

Excellent high-quality, fresh, healthy, quick-service food! Gluten free (gf), vegan and vegetarian items are clearly marked, and they offer gluten free bread that is very tasty (a rarity)! They have grab-and-go, made-to-order deli (hot/cold), a mini organic grocery store and then a cafe with beer, cider, coffee and some tea. Plenty of comfortable seating and is suitable for laptop use!

Great little high end grocery store. Has lots of wonderful vegan choices and beautiful food. The produce looked fresh and the baked goods delicious. It's almost as if they curated all the best things from all over. To that end they have lots of local goodies. For example (pictured) some of the best pita and hummus I've had outside of a proper restaurant or made by someone's immigrant grandma. So good!

This place is great. I am visiting from out of state. At home, I shop at a large local chain grocery store. I have to schlep myself all over to get everything I want. This store has almost everything I buy regularly in one small, well-utilized space for similar or lower prices. I wish I had this store at home!

Small but convenient. Has a good variety of healthy food options for you to choose from.

Google
Good for beers and sandwiches but without a 6 figure K street salary not sure how you could shop here for all your groceries.

Yelp
Cute!! I had the pleasure of staying in this neighborhood recently and I'm so happy I found Dawson's Market. They had a great selection of coffees, kombucha, cheeses, fruit, snacks, and more. During my last dc visit, I came by twice-- once for some snacks for the hotel, and once for breakfast. I had the egg and cheese biscuit and omg--it was delicious and the price was right! Lots of good vegetarian options plus plenty of beer and wine, if you're looking for that. Some of the produce was kind of pricey, but I guess that's just how it is these days. Treat yourself to lunch on the patio-- it was just lovely!

Yelp
It was food. Not particularly good or bad, but solid. We ordered a sandwich, breakfast biscuit and a pizza. Wait was long. Price was moderate. HOnestly the brevity of this review truly reflects my experience. Average, filled a need, nothing to write home about.

Yelp
If you are in the area and in need of a quick bite to eat with gluten free & healthy options then I definitely recommend Dawson's! The staff are so friendly and the vibes are great. During the summer on the weekends they have cookouts with wine and beer. Dawson's has a wide selection of gluten free, dairy free options and I tried a few items that were interesting. Great little market! If I lived in the area I would go frequently.

Yelp
If you are looking for rotten produce, this is the place to go. Since the change of ownership at the beginning of the pandemic, this has gone from bad to worse. Although they have made a noticeable effort to fully stock their shelves, the prepared food and produce is still questionable at best. Prepared salads with rotten lettuce, sandwiches with dry rotting sauce, come on, it isn't that hard. You can't call yourself a "fresh market" if all your food is decidedly not fresh. Last note, they changed the Chicken Banh Mi sandwich. How could you?! You can taste the generic teriyaki marinade they are using, not appropriate for a Banh Mi, and a blatantly cheap move that didn't even reduce the price of the sandwich. Also, the chips you get with your sandwich are always stale. Beer prices are ludicrously expensive. Give your wallet a break. You can get the same selection at other places in the neighborhood for a much better price.

Yelp
Too slow and too expensive. But mostly too slow. Seems chronically understaffed, bartender is doing double duty as the cashier for groceries, only one person working on the sandwich station. Nice picnic tables out front, good beer selection but cannot recommend this place

Yelp
It's hit or miss. I've had a lot of their sandwiches and pizzas. They are usually very good. However one time I tried to buy grounded coffee and the guy working there barely grounded my coffee, so I had to get Starbucks every morning instead. Ugh.

Yelp
I liked Glenn's market better. Dawson's an asshole. Liked the old hospitality much better and I miss Momo. Won't be coming back

Yelp
I got a $12 sandwich and the bread was stale and the tomato still had the sticker on it. Go to the deli on 17th instead.

Yelp
I was a customer of Glen's Garden Market before and I am a customer of Dawson's Market now that they have made the transition. It's my favorite shops in the Dupont Circle area. I used to live closer and stop by more frequently than I do now. The pizzas and sandwiches are fantastic. Great selection of cheeses and charcuterie, beers, coffee, prepared food. For New Year's Eve, I just tried their dinner for two offering and it was perfect. Good portions of protein (filet mignon and crab cakes), nice plentiful salad, sides and desserts. I will certainly repeat this for another holiday or a random weekend.

Yelp
Great tasting sandwiches. However , very pricy for the portions. Takes 25 minute to make, so make sure to plan ahead

Yelp
Finding Dawson's Market in DuPont was life changing. It took me a couple of months of living in DuPont to find it (I didn't get out much during Covid), but it's now my go to for groceries. They have several healthy brands that make me feel good and they also serve awesome breakfast and lunch options. Their pre-made guacamole is to die for and I frequently crave it. 10/10- super cute market :)

Yelp
Very friendly and helpful professionals, and an ever-growing selection of plant-based staples and specialty foods. There seem to be more national brands than there used to be, but still a nice selection of local products.
