"Come rain, shine, or even diagonal sleet, we’ll be popping to this tiny, pretty Islington cafe for excellent coffee and a chat with the easy-going baristas. Day Trip is a place for waking up slowly—in the zen-like courtyard garden with curved stone benches, or leaning on the concrete counter inside. If it is raining, do like the other people dropping by in their cutest sportswear and get your latte to go. A super cute multi-roaster café attached to a restaurant. They offer a delicious selection of coffee, and both their espresso and pourover options are both excellent. Alongside Nostos, they are one of the only places I know that use a frozen stainless steel ball in their pourover — which is fun but I’ve yet to be able to taste the difference. The space provides a lovely, intimate drinking experience, featuring just a brew bar with a stool at the counter and some outdoor seating.

Great specialty coffee! I would highly recommend their "Origami" brews. Bear in mind there are only 4 seats at the counter so you might have to wait if you want to sit in

This was such a nice experience, Eve the barista was super enthusiastic, knowledgeable & very welcoming. Both the hand brew & flat white were delicious - a great selection of stand out coffee. Setting and decor were gorgeous too. Will definitely be back!
