The 14 Best Salads In London That Will Bring You Joy

"You don’t have to be Chris Packham to get why eating seasonal salads that have come directly from a farm in Gloucestershire is a good idea. Fresh organic salads are exactly what you’ll find at Daylesford, an all-day cafe and farm shop in Chelsea, with all of their produce coming directly from the farm of the same name. Although their classic chopped salads are fine, it’s the seasonal ones that will really put a smile on your face. For obvious reasons, the options change regularly but you can expect everything from spicy toasted cashew slaws to juicy heritage apple and kale bowls." - heidi lauth beasley, daisy meager, sinead cranna, jake missing, rianne shlebak

Shame I don’t know what’s going on with Dylesford ? Went for “lunch” around 11.30/45 on a Sunday. Very odd menu - no breakfast or brunch option. My salmon was a very strange dish (photo attached) for £18

We wanted to get some pastries from the ground floor, then because of the rain decided to stay and eat in. Only at the end we realized the prices for a sit down are 50% higher for the same pastry, and when we mentioned it to the staff they basically blew us away. This was so disappointing, and they couldn’t care less. So overpriced and not worth it.

We dropped in for morning coffee and drinks, and were definitely not disappointed. My cappuccino was decidedly superior to those sampled elsewhere, attention to detail being shown. The other members of our large family group felt the same. The restaurant area had a friendly, welcoming and stylish ambience. Judging by the menu fare on offer, if ever in the area again, a definite revisit for something more substantial. As a footnote, the restaurant staff were so friendly and accomodating for our large group, even if it was for morning drinks. That's always the test for myself...

The place is wonderful! I entered because it caught my eye, and it was indeed worth the visit. It's a market for food, meats, coffee, and kitchenware. On the upper floor, there's a restaurant with a limited menu that looks delicious, although I didn't try it as I wasn't looking to eat. I got some olives from there, and they were very delicious. I recommend visiting, and I will be back to try the restaurant.

The restaurant has an amazing interior design, and the Italian waitress was lovely. Unfortunately 8£ for a dry almond croissant is too much even for London.

We chose this café/restaurant for a remote work morning. Initially, the service was very friendly, calm, and professional. There was no sense of rush in our setup. As for the menu, we were provided with an explanation of the available options and other useful information before placing our order. Throughout the meal, we were served by several different staff members, all providing excellent service without exception. When ordering lunch, the server offered an honest recommendation without pushing any sales tactics; this is rare and noteworthy. The server also noticed that we were speaking French and took the initiative to engage with us and serve us in French (impressively fluent French, at that), which made the service even more delightful. The pastries were delicious, tender, crispy, and fresh. The coffees were also of good quality. Even before finishing our lunch, we are already giving a 5/5 rating to Daylesford ORGANIC. The service we received today will definitely turn me into a regular customer here. Well done to the entire team! I highly recommend it.

Coffee was fine but you call that a pain au chocolat? That is a factory-made bread roll with a bit of chocolate. Come on, you can do better!

Absolutely Amazing Experience! I can’t say enough good things about this store! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. The atmosphere is incredible—clean, well-organized, and inviting. You can tell that every detail has been thoughtfully arranged to create a comfortable and enjoyable shopping experience. But what truly sets this place apart is the customer service. The staff goes above and beyond to help, making sure you find exactly what you need without feeling pressured. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about making your visit a great one. Whether you have a question or just need a recommendation, they are always happy to assist. Shopping here is an absolute pleasure, and I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for an organic store that values its customers and offers top-tier service, this is the place to go!

Yelp
Delicious Organic Farm to Table restaurant located in the back of their little market... Friendly staff and good food, enjoyed their chicken broth soup to start and a steak dish (off the specials menu) for my entree

Yelp
The little village of Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA) needs you! Would you please just hop over the pond & show us how a neighborhood organic grocer can become "the happy place" for food & goods.

Yelp
Grabbed a couple to-go items and sat by the window. The food is healthy, high-quality and pretty tasty, although quite pricey. The interior of the shop is inviting and clean. I tried the black quinoa salad with veggies and subtly smoky veggie patties. It was pretty flavorful and satisfying for a light meal. I also tried the hardboiled eggs, which were perfectly cooked. The tiny bottled smoothies are just alright (and super expensive). I would probably skip the smoothie next time around. Overall a nice spot to grab some healthy snacks or a light meal.

Yelp
The ingredients comes straight from the farm and food was AMAZING. It was rich in flavor and the waiters were all kind. I enjoyed walking around the market and there's even a book dedicated to their mission statement. Never had anything like it, I will come back again!!

Yelp
The boo and I were playing tourist in Notting Hill last Saturday and after hours of wandering into antique stores, we were famished. We went on Yelp and initially wanted to go to Granger & Co, but after seeing the long line, we headed for Daylesford Organic. I am thrilled we did because the food was delicious, healthy, and just what we wanted. We had a 20 minute wait, during which time we perused the menu, sampled some cheese and beetroot cured salmon, and poked around the shop. We decided to share the: B Renewed Smoothie; Natural Yogurt Bowl; Avocado on Toast; and Super Greens, Orchard, Daylesford Caesar salad trio. The smoothie was so good! It was basically an acai bowl in liquid form, yum yum yum. A bit pricey considering it was only 250ml, but I hadn't had acai in a while so it was worth it. I love Avocado Toast (I know: basic alert!) and this one was no exception. The egg was perfectly poached and the avocado majorly yum. Similar to with the smoothie, portions were a bit small for price, but everything here is organic and really fresh. Plus, I guess I shouldn't be comparing it to what I get in the U.S. The salad trio was lovely. The Orchard salad was so flavorful and fresh, and the the kale just the right amount of crunchy. The Caesar salad was surprisingly good and the egg really fresh. The Super Greens was decent, but I really just wanted more of the Orchard. The yogurt was solid too. Perfect portions of everything featuring delicious crunchy granola and a nice light, tart yogurt. Despite my earlier comment about portions, the boo and I were both super full at the end of the meal (guess we did order a lot of food). The service was great and our food came out reasonably quickly. Would definitely come back for both the cute shop and some more delicious brunch.

Yelp
I would have given this place 3.5 stars if I could, but I can't, so I gave it 3 stars. It took me a very long time to choose what I wanted (There were not many options on the menu) The service was ok, it was about average The food was delicious! I got the berries and an almond croissant The atmosphere was The comfort was good Quality! There were green cushions on all the seats! +2 for good food +1 for good comfort +1 good service

Yelp
Looking for a place to brunch in Notting Hill, Daleysford seemed to offer yummy options...yummy options yes...but expensive ones for small portions...I should have paid more attention to this, and to some reviews. The food is good but the price is not justified, and beware of the sides too as they will charge £2.50 for half an avocado and the same for some slices of tomatoes. I know this is Notting Hill but it doesn't justify to charge £3 for the double espresso my friend had....£3?? Seriously?? What's in it??...I don't see how a place can justify a double espresso at this price (It's not even that expensive at Duck & Waffle and you get at least a nice view while drink your more expensive than average coffee) Even if the setting is nice, I am for sure won't go back as this is too much overpriced...I am happy to pay more sometimes but I need to see why, and I couldn't see it here.

Yelp
Adorable spot!!! It is a beautiful store on my favorite street in London. It is a nice place to pick up fresh produce and goodies - they merchandise the store so well! It is also a perfect place to grab a latte and a pastry and sit outside and people watch. I've popped in and out casually to do those two things plenty of times! More recently I ate in for brunch. I ordered the avocado toast and it was excellent! Staff was very attentive and it was a lively atmosphere.

Yelp
How could I go have brunch in this restaurant without reading the warning of one of my Yelp friend ? Ok, I have to admit we were really hungry and we're waiting for ages in front of Granger & Co when we decided to go somewhere else... The first place we saw was this organic shop and restaurant, which seemed great. But beware... All the food is really expensive. I had the vegetarian quiche of the day with 2 choices of salad and the portion was so tiny ! I don't get it : quiche is one of the cheapest meal to cook... It's sad, because the food itself was tasty. My friend had the eggs and toast and were very disappointed with the small portion as well. The only good thing for them was the chocolate cake they had for dessert, and for me it was the prune and apple juice, which was pretty original. I wouldn't recommend this place. Yes, Notting Hill is expensive, but it doesn't mean I have to get out of a place and be still starving.

Yelp
Lovely, lovely setting for food and shopping in the swank Nottinghill. Much of the food hales from their farm and is served in a white washed, contemporary, rustic farm decor. All organic menu and all dietary restrictions can be met. Menu is created by a nutritionist and includes foods for detox. Be sure to shop about for nosh and specialty food and home items (think organic dean and deluca) while you wait for your brunch table. When this review started I gave them 5 stars. By the end of the review it dropped to a 4. We waited about 40 min for our breakfast; poached eggs, scrambled eggs and 2 vegetable sides. Although the server did come by once to say the kitchen was a bit backed up. Really disappointing as the food was just " good". We really did enjoy the setting. The baked food we bought for takeaway were honestly the best we had in London. Tried an earl Grey fruit cake. So tasty and moist with perfect bits of fruit. Only 1.49 quid! Same low price for an amazing raisin scone. Would love to have some in ny! Hope to try it again.

Yelp
I love love love this restaurant. Clean farm to table daily produce. The interiors are so clean as well. For an organic restaurant, this definitely is one for the books. Lots of happy people and the food is simple and amazing. I wish there was something like this in Manila. Seriously organic and seriously good food. I love it!

Yelp
Wow. We were looking for organic quality food while visiting London. This place was super fresh and great quality. Highly recommend this place for a great lunch.

Yelp
They lose a star for completely messing up my drink order... I asked for a tumeric shot and got a latte instead and the guy who brought me the drink insisted it was the right thing. The bill came later and turns out I was right. Other than that I had the eggs Benedict which was really good. Eggs were poached perfectly. But the little side of greens was sad. The wait wasn't too long but at least it was fun killing time in the store part and seeing all the goodies they sell.

Yelp
Absolutely lovely cafe/market. Very clean and organized. I got their homemade kefir as we were on the go. They have lots of treats and snacks. I enjoy how sustainable and conscious their farming practices are.

Yelp
I didn't have time to eat in the Cafe upstairs but the menu looked fabulous for breakfast, lunch, or brunch. The food shop (on the main floor) has amazing high-quality organic produce, meats, cheese, diary, oils, wine, bakery, and packaged products. The home-store area downstairs has great gift items for both home and garden. The take-away dishes looked healthy and delicious. I look forward to going back for another visit. The store has a calendar of planned events and workshops. They also offer Floristry Courses throughout the year. www.daylesford.com. www.daylesford.com/events

Yelp
Service: Not that great... Forgot my fathers smoked salmon, than after asking for it? Took another 11 minutes. Two coffees? Never made it to the table, but showed up on the bill. Second time I'm eating here that they forgot dishes. Not great to take people here. Food is great! E*

Yelp
Good wifi Internet, organic healthy food and good ambience. I love this place. This is a combined breakfast/lunch place and speciality supermarket, they stock a great selection of organic food and non-food. I have to admit, the groceries are expensive enough for me not to be a regular, but the food is quite good and fairly priced. Living around the corner, I tend to pop by a lot. If you're into salads (the only thing I've really had here and highly recommendable) why only settle for one? You can combine up to three different salads, and they all taste quite good. They have seating inside, but if you're a party of 1-2, the best place to hang out is by the window people watching.
google avatar

Allison T.

Yelp
This place is a dream. I wish I could go everyday. Also, the best chicken soup I've ever had! Don't forget to stock up on all the organic produce & baked goods as well.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
Ahhh! I love Daylesford. The food that they serve is absolutely delicious, beautiful, and it comes from their farm! I love that! I've tried their brunch and salads, and the service has always been nice and the food always delicious.
google avatar

Meike B.

Yelp
I must admit that the shop looks beautiful, and actually a lot more attractive than its previous incarnations. However, what used to be a local wholefoods store affordable enough to do your entire shopping, then taken over by Fresh & Wild just to be closed down when Wholefoods opened in Kensington, is now more a treat sort of place. The transformation seems to be in keeping with the time and neighbourhood as the shop is usually teeming with people, especially in the cafe areas. Oh well, at least it is still a food store rather than yet another fashion outlet.
google avatar

Jean T.

Yelp
Wow! Overrated and underfed. Poor service because staffing is insufficient. Lots of interesting places to eat in this neighbourhood, you can skip this one.

Mike O.

Yelp
Have shopped there for 10 years. Never again. Better spots on the same road with management who knows what loyal customer means.....

Meryem C.

Yelp
This is one of the popular cafe in Notting Hill. You can see people waiting to be seated most of the times. However, take into consideration that they have a flow so you can find a table after a short wait. On my last visit I had scrambled eggs with sourdough bread what came with butter and jam for brunch! I am not a yoghurt person and scrambled eggs were the only option for me. They have a really good healthy and simple menu all with organic products. It is well situated in Notting Hill and brightly decorated. When you enter in organic fruits and vegs are welcoming along with daily baked breads. They have sections; butcher, creamery, grocer, fishmonger, dairy, wine. One floor down you can find homeware section and etc. Overall it is a very cool cafe but definitely not my favourite. I prefer to visit just for tea and pain au chocolate.
google avatar

Dave S.

Yelp
Stopped here for a late evening coffee warm-up during the festive period. Was easily able to get in and be seated, however I imagine this is not the case during more popular times due to the general proximity to Portobello Rd market. As a "hot beverage averse" person with an irrational fear of burning my tongue, I was a fan of their mocha preparation; they nailed the perfect temperature! I also tasted the chai-spiced hot chocolate which was a nice twist on the classic.
google avatar

Doris D.

Yelp
Had brunch this morning at this place. Lovely shop at the entrance where you can can buy groceries l. All organic ingredients are from their farm about 2 hours away. I had two poached eggs on smashed avocado on a slice of gluten free toast with a side is summer veggies salad. All clean tasting and what I needed. The staff was great. The assistant manager helped tailor my meal to make sure it was gluten free, dairy free and free of night shades. Love it! Super cute and what I was looking for when far away from home and staying on my dietary restrictions due to my health.
google avatar

Annie K.

Yelp
Note: This review is for the restaurant part, not the store part. This is a fantastic place for brunch! I love brunch, because you can always order eggs or a hamburger, two impossibly great options. I ordered the hamburger and it was amazingly fresh and hot and delicious and it came with STREAKY BACON! And cute little jars of organic ketchup and mustard to apply to my burger plus a little green salad on the side so I didn't feel like a huge pig. Two of my dining companions ordered the eggs benny which also looked incredibly scrummy and the fourth ordered the bread basket which came with tasty looking jams. AND our table had a lovely little green garden down the middle, which we curiously wondered how they kept neat (tiny lawn mower?) and all in all it was just a great spot. HOWEVER, if you have any issues being surrounded by gorgeous children dressed better than you are, this is not the spot for you. Despite the fact I went as part of a four girl sex and the city style brunch, we were surrounded by families. If you have an aversion to little ones or just a really bad hangover, this may not be your idea of fun.
google avatar

Milan A.

Yelp
Came here the other weekend to have weekend brunch with some friends. I would have to knock off a star for the lack of seats for people waiting (and you will wait if you come on a Saturday/Sunday morning) as well as the poor waitstaff who came by our table with other peoples' orders several times. However, the food definitely balanced this aspect of the restaurant out. The bread was high quality and my dish, Eggs Florentine, was fantastic. Perhaps it a placebo effect, but you could taste the organic aspects of the ingredients - it tasted much lighter, cleaner and earthier. The poached eggs were perfectly round and just the right level of firmness and the hollandaise sauce wasn't overpowering. Even now I dream of the Eggs Florentine, I'm definitely going back again for them.

Ana C.

Yelp
Security guard so rude! On my way in I've put sanitizer on my hands. And he turned around to me and said what you doing I explained to him that I've put sanitizer and he said I was lying and I didn't have anything in my hands. I told I had put and he kept insisting that I was lying. Just made me so upset that I didn't even go inside the shop as I was walking he said "what's your problem go go".
google avatar

Isabella M.

Yelp
I do not recommend this place, it's over price and the service quality is bad. My mom and I were walking around Nothing Hill and we were really hung so we decided to stop at this little shop/resto that looks super inviting starting from my green juice which they pour 4 fingers of it in a coup and that's it and they charge you 6 pounds for it. I also had to ask for water about 3 times. the server could not explain me how was the eggs done neither which plate was the one my neighbour was having. So we other a scramble egg in a toast, the portion was so so and tasteless (we wonder how can a scramble egg go so wrong), it came with ONE small piece of bread. in the end we left the place very unhappy and the paid 24, something for two eggs, a tea and a green juice.
google avatar

Peter F.

Yelp
Breakfast...Ham & Poached Eggs with hollandaise sauce...croissant & two coffees. Everything delicious. Eggs were perfect. Nice room and friendly attentive service. Coffee very good...seems you have to go somewhere above average to get decent tasting coffee in London. But the cost...twenty pounds including tip seems a bit hefty for breakfast, however nice it was. I'd expect to pay that if I was sitting in a five star hotel, not in some dining room attached to a deli-shop.
google avatar

Mit S.

Yelp
If you can stand queuing the best part of 45 minutes on a weekend morning to sit down and eat here, do it! The food is fantastic and once you get a seat, the service is good too! They have a good selection of offerings all from the Daylesford farm, both prepared on site and as ingredients for you to take away and use for your own cooking. If this branch is too busy you could try the one in Belgravia but it's just as bad for queues (and just as good for food)!
google avatar

Yelp
I don't understand why they sell their milk in non-resealable pouches; but it's damn good milk, so I deal with it (hint: I got a vintage milk jug to consolidate pouches, that strikes the fancy of many a brunch/post dinner coffee guest). My other favorite of Daylesford is the hot English mustard. This will be one of those things I'll have friends ship to me, if we ever move back to the US. It really is that good! An extremely small amount goes a long way, so it took me about half-a-year to get through a jar. As for pretty much everything else, I could take it or leave it. Sifting through the veg, I often find hints of rotten spots in things like garlic. The fruit often looks underripe. I'm all for the organic, less-than-perfect fruit and veg, but I still want it to be quality. If farmers at markets can make it work, I don't think it's too much to ask for Daylesford to keep up, too. I've only eaten in breakfast, and it was very basic--eggs, yogurt, granola, etc. I realized everything we ordered, I could have made at home in a matter of minutes. It sorta turns me off lunch and dinner. For me Daylesford boils down to the milk and the mustard. I'll leave the rest, thanks.
google avatar

Claire L.

Yelp
A brilliant organic foodie lovers paradise! This place specialise in tasty organic food that's fresh and great quality. They sell cheeses, breads, pastries, cakes and other lip smacking treats - yum, yum! I would say from everything here, the cheeses are possibly their strongest point here. The selection is pretty good, it's not the cheapest but you pay for what you get and it's worth it. I love delis and when I pass through Notting Hill, I always make a stop for a nice big wedge of brie or cheddar to go with some of that fine organic bread they sell. A top place for food!
google avatar

Yelp
We were shopping all morning and were getting tired, hungry and cranky when the shop girl recommends a nearby café. She didn't seem enthusiastic and I was initially put off by the ordinary exterior of the joint. But my wife insisted and in we went; and I was instantly convinced that this was a cool place. The lower level is market, and bakery but the mezzanine was the café. The service was superb and we enjoyed a very 'organic' late lunch. For meat lovers, vegetarians and in-betweens there was all sorts of selections on the menu. We had wine, we were transformed and spent the rest of the day shopping. Great spot for lunch and I wouldn't be surprised if dinner was as good. Like everything in London the prices seemed expensive for us Americans, but 50 bucks gets you a great lunch.

Yelp
Went to the Esher location this afternoon for lunch. I had the Daylesford house salad and it was awesome. The proscuitto was so fresh! And the figs... Ugh, I love figs. The service was fantastic, the coffee delicious, and was overall a really good experience. Minus one star for no wifi. I know you guys are new, but please fix this!!
google avatar

Jimmy H.

Yelp
Beautiful, chic place with good food. I'm a bit ambivalent about the five stars because my positive memories of this place stems mainly from the extraordinarily beautiful, intelligent, wonderful woman I had lunch with at this location, whom I've only seen twice in my life, and was thus distracted from really evaluating the food. I have vague memories that the food was excellent, the service was efficient, and the decor and ambiance really nice and upscale.
google avatar

Chris K.

Yelp
We were curious about the organic restaurant, so we ventured into this restaurant for lunch. Roast Cod was served with crushed new potato, spinach and pea purée. The cod was fresh, flaky and was tasty, but the portion was very small. Beef Burger was nothing special, and again the potion was small. Our waitress told us they could only cook it well-done, due to the regulation. Trifle was nothing special, and the portion again was very small. The Fruit Scones were very nice, served with clotted cream and jam. The service was polite and attentive. If you are not bothered about eating organic food, their food did not offer value for money. We spent over £53 and left there still hungry.

Yelp
Great selection of foods, all organic, interesting meats, great coffee This is a quick review on the shop and coffee bar and not the full restaurant. I was waiting in here for about 45 minutes for a friend to show up so I browsed quite a bit. Organics aren't really my big thing so I'm not too fussed about it just because it's organic. That being said, this place had some really cool items that I'll be going back to buy. For example, few places I know sell fresh rabbit and quail, two meats which I enjoy but rarely experience cooking myself. The fresh veggies looked fantastic and heaps better than what I usually resign myself to at Sainsbury's or Tesco. The coffee bar is also well stocked with sweet treats, savoury pies and soups, and a barista who seems to know his stuff despite his relative youth. The coffee was rich and fruity with a hint of nuttiness just after the flavour peak. It was interesting and jumpstarted my hungover brain in no time at all. The one issue I had with the store was the location of the register which is at the back of the food section. Basically, I ordered my coffee, walked to the back to pay, then walked back to get it. Just seemed a bit odd.

Anna L.

Yelp
I like the concept of this place but food and service were not up to my expectations Not worth another visit in my opinion
google avatar

Kate B.

Yelp
I like the concept of this restaurant (all organic food) and the food sure was tasty. However,I left quite hungry because the portions were small. The roast cod tasted lovely and the burgher meat was fantastic but they didn't come with chips so we were both hungry when we had finished the meal. For dessert the trifle was nice but without sherry. You have to have deep pocket to fill up with food at this restaurant. I have no complaint about the food at this restaurant but there should be more of it.
google avatar

Casey T.

Yelp
If you're into organic eating and are in Notting Hill this is a great choice. Service can be a tad slow and the queue can be long but they make up for it with healthy and organic ingredients and a bright and airy space. Limited groceries also for sale.
google avatar

Yelp
That's for sure: I like the food. But what I do like more is the whole philosophy behind it. Starting with the fresh cooked food from their own organic farms, the carbon neutral water, bottled in the UK with PVC free bottle-caps, the nice interior and so on... Only the service could look a little bit better after the clients. One should bring time for ordering as well as paying.

Yelp
Had Lunch here; we were very excited. Good combination of ingredients, well cooked. Good and gentle Service. Lovely athmosphere in the combination of grocery store and Restaurant. Free wifi Access for customers. The second Time we went for breakfast, which maybe was our Most expensive breakfast ever, but maybe also the best One!

What a great place. As far as service, they are very accomodating. We went to this restaurant for lunch. The food is superb. We started with the bread and olives. They serve a mixture of olives, cornichons, peers and chunks of garlic. It comes with their own baked bread. We also ordered the cauliflower and gruyere soup which we realized that it might be served in a large bowl so we asked if we could share it between the two of us. The soup was amazing and worth every calorie. In addition we ordered the flat iron chicken which was tender and very tasty. Of course we over ordered by adding the cottage pie. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is very earthy and relaxing. They also have a small market in the front.

Yelp
I love this place so much! its always so busy and chaotic which is part of its appeal! The coffee is always good as are the pastries. The salad options for lunch are equally good. I recommend getting a gift from here if you are stuck - they have beautifully packaged cheeses and oils. The neighbourhood is a very well-to do so if you go during the week you will see many lunching ladies - its a but more mixed in the weekend thansk to being close to Portobello Road market.

Yelp
Went for breakfast on a weekday - Had a really good service. Beautiful decoration and atmosphere, fresh ingredients. Food wasn't as good as I expected though. Orange juice was very very bitter, I actually thought it was grapefruit at first. I like it, but pressed oranges typically give out more sugar where I come from I guess! Pancakes absolutely excellent but the blackcurrant jam was very sour. no additives or sugar of course but even with that it was surprising. French chocolatine (chocolate croissant) was a total disgrace though. Really dry, and I'm french, it was a bit disappointing. Cold and hard doesn't suit a French pastry :) But really nice for the ambiance and quality of ingredients.

Yelp
The salads are very fresh and crispy. And the cake is moist and truly delicious; you can't really imagine that it is made up of vegetables. The taste is not too sweet unlike others. Perfect place to grab for a delicious and healthy food.

Yelp
Daylesford appeared through a steady downpour of rain in Notting Hill one day and we were so grateful to find it! After attempting to sift through the few legitimate weekday shopping options on Portobello Road, we decided to grab some lunch. Before we could reach our destination, the rain picked up and we ducked into Daylesford, primarily seeking shelter, but ultimately discovering a culinary feast! We kept it light with the soup of the day (tomato) and shared several salads. The best was the green bean salad - I forget the name now - with a mustard vinaigrette and some semi-dried tomatoes and garlic. I tried to replicate this at home soon after, but couldn't do it justice. All the food tasted so fresh and was not too heavy. There's a shop up front where you can buy produce from the farm and a boutique downstairs with some unique gift items and kitchen/housewares. All-in-all a 5-star stop!
