Adorable little cafe. The ambiance was cute and chill. The coffee quality was fantastic. The barista was skilled and made me a great latte. I recommend the Cubano shot in a latte. This was a great space to study in. They did not have any sugar free syrup options which was disappointing, but they did carry stevia in the raw at least. Overall this is a cafe I would recommend.

Definitely a must try!! The drinks, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches are all top notch. The service was outstanding - super friendly staff. To eat, we ordered the #1 & #3 breakfast sandwiches with hash browns, a blueberry muffin, and a chocolate chip cookie. To drink, we got the chai and matcha, which was especially yummy. Lots of nice outdoor seating, and a cool vibe indoors! I highly recommend this vegan coffee shop!

We got the latte, breakfast sandwiches, and kale + mango smoothie and loved it all. Very yummy awesome service. Bonus points for everything being vegan here. Will definitely be coming back!

Iced mocha oat latte is my go-to. Here is was soft and creamy and smooth and served with a smile while I sat on a wooden bench in a room that appeared to be decorated by a rich 14 year old girl.

I really dug the atmosphere here and staff was very kind. The decaf, however, I cannot recommend. I cannot drink caffeinated, so possibly only the decaf is this way but it appeared almost creamy in color/texture and tasted very odd, like fruity. It made me quite nauseous by first sip and did not taste like coffee. Staff were awesome, however, and were able to refund me. I would recommend sticking to regular coffee if you want to try this place.

So happy to have a vegan spot. The barista (not sure of her name but new to Portland was kind and a great listener). Used to frequent in the past but the music was too loud. This time it was perfect, cafe music not kitchen music. They have a lovely WIDE bar at the window, unlike the 6" wide ones at many places. I did not love the Portal brand matcha. Would frequent more if the matcha was better, like Mizuba which only a couple of place in Portland use (maybe due to the price point). They use a high quality CLEAN oat milk. Would also love more soy free food options. Bring back the beet salad and kofta :-). I would also love pastries/sweets with coconut sugar or maple instead of cane sugar but I know the price point makes that prohibitive. Go try them out. I simply listed my suggestions above, but they have many great items on the menu!

Day Lily is a lovely coffee shop! +1 star for being completely vegan. +1 star for opening early +1 star for serving breakfast +1 star for delicious coffee +1 star for clean bathrooms I did have to go back and reorder one of my lattes because he somehow didn't get the order right. But I wasn't in a hurry so it didn't bother me.

Greeted when I walked in, nice and clean spacious restrooms, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great service Kombucha on tap $4.00, very reasonable.

Day lily coffee shop was a coffee shop Steve and I tried one morning on our last trip to Portland. I was wanting to get an iced vanilla latte and got just that. The latte was very good, nice and refreshing for the blistering heat wave we were under during that trip. Yes, the heat was even noticeable in the morning too. Pastries were enjoyable as well. The shop had a nice, sleek atmosphere to it which I appreciated along with some attention grabbing neon signs to give a nice accent to the place. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the whole experience was a positive one.

They've done it again!!! The same people who brought PDX The Sudra, bring us a cute neighborhood coffee shop :) the menu is small and easily navigable. You don't need much when it's good. We had a bunch of delicious breakfast sandwiches, and a couple not lattes and OJ! First off the fresh OJ didn't last very long. My son downed it because he said it was AMAZING. M am particular about my coffee to say the least and my latte was DELICIOUS. My daughter had a decaf latte, and absolutely loved it. And my mom had one and said it was fantastic. The breakfast sandwiches were basic but EVERYTHING but basic. The bread from Dos Hermanos was FABULOUS. I love me some crispy bread. The flavor of the sauce/mayo was perfect and the Just Egg lovely. It was all just balanced and delicious. We will be back! Another HIT!!

This is the cutest vegan coffee shop! The prices include non dairy milk (the milks are not made in house, just fyi) , and all food is vegan. The shop uses Roseline Coffee. The barista was friendly, and the shop was cozy and aesthetically pleasing.

Not a huge decaf drinker but I got their decaf latte in the afternoon and it was seriously flavorful and delicious

Came by for a breakfast and coffee during laundering. The staff were super friendly. I enjoyed my cold brew coffee which had a nice, floral and roasty flavor. My breakfast sandwich was perfect! The English Muffin had the perfect texture for the sandwich. The flavors were really good with just the right amount of aioli and some nice brightness from the arugula. Definitely enjoyed everything and will come back some time!

Lovely northeast coffee shop. We stopped by mid shopping on Mississippi. I got a small hemp milk vanilla latte. Phenomenal. Hemp milk is one of my favorite finds, and not everywhere offers it as a milk alternative. They off the following milk alternatives: almond, coconut, hemp, oat, and soy I would definitely give this quaint coffee shop a try. I loved my latte. We tried the drip coffee as well. It had a nice robust flavor. Side note: A bit pricey, my latte came out to around $7. But honestly, the flavor was great.

Vegan coffee shop heaven! This place is a definite new favorite -- everything we ordered tasted great and the service was fast and friendly. The vanilla oat latte was delicious, as was their peanut butter banana smoothie, vegan breakfast sandwich, and a vegan breakfast burrito with salsa. We were too full to try any of their house-made pastries but it all sounded yummy. A clean, bright, and lively place that was pretty busy the whole time we were there, but there was still always seating available. #vegancoffeeshop #veganbreakfastsandwich

Insultingly overpriced. Especially given nearby options. I wanted to like this place but at these prices it's just not worth it, and it's just not fair. Mississippi has been gentrifying for decades now and this is just the latest evidence of establishments coming in that don't care about, and economically exclude the historic community and residents. But that doesn't mean we have to like or support it. The coffee here is good. As it had better be, given the massively high prices. I've had coffee in MANHATTAN that cost less and tasted as good. But why would you spend so much more here to get the same good coffee you can get from three other coffee shops on the very same street?! The interior is cute, in the generic "we copied the designs from a Pinterest board of hip coffee design trends" way, but even then it's not done very well, and the space is small. If they're not paying much in rent and they didn't pay much for designers....why is the cost so high and why should we pay it? If they were the only shop in town, maybe but there are many other great cafes on Mississippi and on Vancouver/Williams, so this spot has nothing to add but contempt for the customer and community.

love the new vegan breakfast & lunch menu! the roseline beans are super tasty and chris is a very talented and friendly barista. he poured a beautiful swan in my pistachio oat milk cappuccino! would definitely recommend!

Love this place. Coffee is wonderful. People are even better. Love the minimalist look. Everything feels really well thought out. As someone who was born and raised in N Portland since the 1980s, love all the coffee options we have -- and this place is just another great option.

Loved the girl at the register- she was really nice! The reason for the 1 star rating was because the latte that I got tasted really sour so I'm guessing the shot wasn't pulled well. I'm really disappointed because I spent 6 or 7 dollars on probably the worst cup of coffee I've had in Portland /: I'm not one to write negative reviews often but it really bummed me out. That's a lot of money for a bad cup of coffee. Don't think I'll be back.

Great coffee, great service, and free refills. As a coffee drinker, do you need anything more? They also have an awesome outdoor patio for when its sunny and big windows for when it's not. Quiet spot, great for a work from home day.

Came by here a couple times now and am pleasantly surprised. The coffee is great, the service is phenomenal. Paige has been awesome. But, back to the coffee- great choices and a flavorful brew each time. I will be back for sure!

This shop has the kindest baristas and they are so extremely talented, as well. I notice whenever I go here, that they always make me feel safe about ordering and go the extra mile to make it a satisfactory experience. Amazing matcha and love that they also serve all vegan milks!!

As a vegan I've been looking for a great all vegan cafe, to my joy I have finally found what I am looking for! Good staff good food good coffee:)
