Google
Absolutely loved our stop at this little coffee shop in my new hometown. We tried a variety of iced coffees including a delightful Vietnamese coffee. The Mexican mocha was great too. The coffee cake was outstanding too. The shop is small and has the kind of charm you want in a local coffee shop. Even has a drive thru AND space to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings

Google
I absolutely love Daymoon Coffeebar! The moment I walk in, I always feel welcomed and cared for—it’s such a warm, inviting space. The coffee is consistently amazing, and the atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax or connect. Truly one of my favorite places! They are so supportive of my community events and community support. LOVE YOU GUYS!

Showed up on a Saturday at 11am. There was about 15-20 people in line -inclusive of the drive thru. I waited about 15 minutes and then had to leave. The lady who came in as I left also turned around to leave. The house was packed. I recommend to hire another barista for the busy mornings. You definitely need more than 2 workers during this time. Menu looked great. I wish we could have tried something.

Google
What a wonderful coffee bar! Delicious drinks and fantastic staff. Had a great little pick me up! Try the Thai coffee, it slaps!

Google
I loooove this local coffee shop!! My favorites are an iced café miel latte, hot vanilla breve, and creamy caramel frozen drink. Baristas here are always friendly and very sweet. There's indoor bar seating, tables, outdoor seating, picnic tables, and couches. Very pet friendly, treats for furry babies. Plenty of books to read, artwork to admire, and you can play board games. this is such a gem for Fairview 💎

Google
Amazing coldbrew (I was already a fan of Pennycup coffee, so I was excited to see that is served here!)— fantastic bagel from Jersey South, and the pastries baked in house looked (and smelled) spectacular. Good vibes, cozy atmosphere. I’ll be back!

Google
This is probably my favorite coffee shop in the area so far. The food and coffee was absolutely amazing and delicious and the vibe is a cozy, calm environment. It’s so cute and a great place to sit and work, especially if you need a little creative boost The seating is a little limited since it’s a small shop but they make the best out of the space, ensuring there’s enough seating vs leaving empty spaces out. 10/10 would recommend

Google
I love this local coffee destination!! It has such personality and uniqueness! I love the specialty drinks that you can only find here AND they have gluten-free baked goods (I highly recommend the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffin). The chai latte is delish as well. I wish there were some more privacy seating for those who want to get some work done or those who want to meet a friend and chat … the seating is all in one open room, cozy feeling but open.

Yelp
The best Mexican Mocha around! The baked goods are always delicious , as well as the Matcha Lattes. Great local coffee bar to meet up with a friend for a coffee date. Everyone that works at Daymoon is so kind and helpful. My favorite local coffee shop! Outdoor tables for when the weather is nice.

Jac C.

Yelp
Warm, comfortable and great owners. So pleasant and nice. Great coffee, expresso and treats of all kinds...go there, you'll love it. The owner is a great guy his wife is a sweet heart...They took care of us and really made us feel at home. We are from Kansas City, and love being in North Carolina to get our morning wake up while at Daymoon!! And a little afternoon pick me up too.

Yelp
This coffee shop was near our vacation rental, so we decided to stop here for breakfast on our way out of town. They are super eco friendly, offering real plates, mugs, cups, and even metal spoons for stirring. They also have compostable cutlery people can grab for takeout items. There is a small bookstore inside, so the atmosphere is very relaxed and studious. The baristas were so friendly to us and everyone else. We loved hanging out here, having breakfast, and watching as other patrons came and went. The biscuits and scones are a must try! I also loved my smoothie, and the coffee is very solid!

Yelp
so cute! really nicely laid out shop with books for sale in addition to baked goods - muffins, giant chocolate croissants, some quiche - and drinks. tried an iced latte, which was fine, and a frozen chai, which was fabulous. the service is fantastic and everyone is really friendly; they recognized us when we came back despite us only being in town a few days, which felt special. parking lot is a bit muddy so bring shoes you don't mind dirtying up :)

Yelp
Came here the other day for my "work from home ". Absolutely perfect place to knock out some work and to feel like you're in the company of family. The staff was incredibly warm and helpful from the get-go. They washed and used my coffee mug and gave me a discount. I went ahead and rang up a refill because I knew I'd be there a while. Their coffee, just the drip, was incredible. Tasted so fresh. Diverse options for cream as well. If you're into that. I also got a quiche from their bakery area. They have a few little big goods that seemed to be locally made. Unfortunately the quiche to quite long time and I found it to be small for the price. I am thankful that they had a veggie option, but next time I went up for a different pastry. I really adore places that do day-old bakery items for a discount because I hate wasting. I did get some coffee cake that was day-old and it was a little hard as expected but overall the flavor was delicious. Again, I would definitely opt for a fresh pastry or just stick with a coffee at this place. Overall if you wanted to experiment no harm done because they definitely have fair prices. Even though it looks small they have a ton of cozy little options and various seating arrangements whether you're solo or with others. Even a little outdoor space as well. And plenty of parking!

Marcus M.

Yelp
Came here 5 days in a row while visiting Asheville. Solid coffee and friendly staff. If you're looking for extensive food options, go elsewhere. But they do have a nice assortment of homemade breads and small pastries. They also have a drive thru.

Yelp
We stopped at Daymoon during a stay for a nearby wedding and despite how we love to try different coffee shops each day on vacation; we found ourselves coming back to Daymoon several times during our week in Asheville. The drinks were absolutely perfect and the quiet bookshop vibes are just right for us, if we ever find ourselves in the area we will be coming back.

Yelp
Great spot for working! Plenty of seats, quiet atmosphere, and there's a nice gift shop just a few steps away. Follow us for more local reviews @Miles.The.Van

Yelp
This was the closet coffee shop to the Air BnB we were staying so we decided to pop in for our morning dose of caffeine. Service was speedy and there was ample parking available. I selected a Cafe Miel and my husband got his usual Americano. My Miel was good, definitely heavy on the honey side. The Americano was alright, nothing special stuck out about it. All in all, this served as a nice shop for coffee without needing to travel far in the morning.
google avatar

Peggy R.

Yelp
I love this cute cozy coffee bar! Everything is delicious. There are so many options, coffee, tea, hot, iced, frap, smoothie, dairy free. I only wish they made breakfast sandwiches but then I might have to live there.

Paige S.

Yelp
bagels could be better. Good for drinks with a nice sitting area and drive-thru. It is the only non chain in the Fairview area so I always want to support
google avatar

Nikki A.

Yelp
Great little stop between Asheville and Fairview for coffee, tea and bakery items. Welcoming servers and great menu items

Rachel A.

Yelp
Love this place! The dirty chai is amazing. I got it twice in one week. I've also had their bagels and a blueberry muffin. The muffin was just okay. The vibes in the coffee shop are so nice and I love the outdoor seating. Everyone working was very nice.

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Daymoon is my favorite coffee shop. The coffee is really tasty--often made fresh right in front of me--and reasonably priced. I love browsing the books on display while waiting the few minutes it takes to be served. The staff are all friendly and treat me like a neighbor. I sometimes meet my significant other there as soon as they open on weekday mornings--in fact, Daymoon is the place where I first met him, ever. He bought me a coffee. Now it's a tradition for us. I don't often eat sweets and I have to be careful with wheat, so I haven't sampled the baked goods, but they always look great in the case. Maybe I'll splurge one day. In nice weather, the outdoor seating is very pleasant. Even though it's on a busy road, it's set far enough back with surrounding trees and nice landscape elements that it doesn't feel busy. Yay, Daymoon!

Yelp
A great coffee place in Asheville! Some friends and I stopped here on our way out of town to get some caffeine on the way back home. I ordered a coffee with steamed almond milk, which was amazing and perfectly hot. You get the option of a light or dark roast coffee as well. The barista working was friendly, and together with the other person working at Mountain Mojo, they made a very efficient team. In addition to plain brewed coffee, there were a variety of lattes, frozen and specialty drinks on the menu as well. Mountain Mojo also had Brueggers Bagels, and some other pastries and muffins as well if you've got an appetite! Glad we skipped the coffee chain and took a chance at this local java joint!

Andy S.

Yelp
My rating is for bagels only. I was there for bagels since Rise Above closed. If you're looking for bagels, this is not the place. They were stale and only had a few flavors. They don't make them there, so it makes sense. Just disappointed.

Yelp
We stopped here to visit with a friend. They are taking safe precautions for co vid. I love that their page says they have gluten-free baked goods. I did not eat anything but the coffee was very good, there was ample parking and the space was clean with indoor and outdoor tables.
google avatar

Alissa F.

Yelp
Everything that we had at Mountain Mojo was delicious! It's a cute little cabin on the old Charlotte Highway, and my sister and I stopped in on our way to go hiking. We hadn't been here before, and there was only one car in the parking lot when we arrived, so we approached with some trepidation despite the excellent reviews. Our expectations were fully met for a five star review. The service was friendly, and we both received good advice on what beverages to choose (me for which drip coffee and my sister on the Mexican mocha). We had our choice of tables on a weekday at 8 AM, and we sat and enjoyed the gluten-free banana bread along with our drinks. The music was classic late 70s pop rock (ELO, SuperTramp, Paul Simon), and there was local artwork for sale.

Yelp
Wonderful baristas, delicious drinks and pastries l love this place. Just wish they didn't run out of biscuits so early.

Yelp
We stopped in to Mountain Mojo for breakfast and coffee on our recent trip to Asheville. We ordered yogurt parfaits, bagels, and coffees. The young men behind the counter were very attentive, super friendly, and kind to our kids. The coffee was great, and the food was very good too. The yogurt parfait was really tasty with granola, dried fruit, and of course yogurt. The bagels are self serve, so you pick them out of the basket and toast them and butter them yourself. There's also baked goods available if you have a sweet tooth. Overall, Mountain Mojo is a great place to grab coffee and a quick breakfast.

Yelp
We were searching for a little coffee shop and bakery type place before beginning our drive home after a mini-vacation in Asheville. The coffee shop we really enjoyed the day before didn't open until later (so strange for a coffee shop imo!), so we searched for something outside of the city so we wouldn't need to contend with parking meters and/or finding parking. And, this place definitely didn't have those kind of city problems! Mountain Mojo is really a cute little cabin near Asheville. I was surprised by the exterior, but it seemed fitting for this charming little shop. There is local art on the walls, comfy couches, and some table seating inside and out. There's not a huge selection of baked goods, but they do seem to try to have vegan or gluten free items available. The winning food item we purchased was probably the homemade granola which was a yogurt granola. After convincing my kiddo the banana bread was actually cake, she enjoyed that too. The coffee is good, much better than hotel coffee would have been in the morning (the sad hotel breakfast and desire for something quick is what prompted our search in the first place!). It wasn't as good as the coffee we had the day before, but still did the job. The service was friendly and efficient here too. Overall, it's a fine coffee shop. It's not one I'd go out of my way to get a cup of coffee from though. But, if I were local to the area and wanted to sort of get away from things, this would be an ideal escape spot for the coziness, remoteness, and relaxed atmosphere.

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop with great bakery and coffee. Service was quick and everyone was really nice.

Yelp
Delicious baked goods done by owner, Devin Walsh. This guy is gifted with the perfect personality for a Coffee bar... gets to know clients, remembers their preferences, laid back, witty and intelligent. We always go there when visiting from Texas.
google avatar

Yelp
Stop. You need their pumpkin chocolate chip muffin in your life. They're gf & v. Also, kudos to whoever trains employees on cappuccinos. Perfect every time.

Yelp
I've been to Mountain Mojo a few times but keep forgetting to write a review. I've only tried their Mocha, which wasn't bad. I've also had a couple of their pastries... which I don't recall now what they were but I do remember them being dry. Bottomline: Mocha - good Pastries - forgettable On the hunt for a new coffee place...

Yelp
During our recent trip to Asheville we decided to give Mountain Mojo a try. The product was great but the service was terrible. The employee seemed rushed and un-interested in our business and taking our order. She left midway through my order hoping that was all that I needed. I had to awkwardly explain that she left during my order and she sighed and then finished taking my order. Very awkward experience for our first time visiting Mountain Mojo. The product was great but the service needs a lot of help.

Yelp
OPEN To NOPE! This was the first place we stopped on our Asheville adventure! The owner, Devin, became our foodie tour guide offering all kinds of tips to eating Asheville. My wife love the special latte "the Nina" featuring lavender, caramel and a pinch of salt. This may not be our last stop here on this trip! THANKS Devin!

Yelp
Outstanding place to enjoy coffee and warm ambience. Not MMojo anymore though. Now it's Day Moon.

Yelp
Pleasant service, unobtrusive background music, comfy seats, tasty treats. I really enjoy coming here
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
We hit this spot in our way back to Charlotte. There was one car ahead of us in the drive thru and 2-3 cars parked outside. The order in front of us took forever. I ordered a latte and some zucchini bread which also took forever. We were waiting at least 20 minutes. I enjoyed trying it, but I wouldn't stop if you're in any sort of hurry.

Yelp
The breakfast sandwiches are awesome! I tried the smoked salmon and turkey green bagel, both were unique (in a good way). The olive tapenade used on the turkey Greek was delicious. Also tried the Toddy coffee iced and black, it has a very strong taste for those that like a darker roast. And my mother tried the green Yerba mate, it's a very original flavor that taste like genuine tea. Very natural tasting.

Suzanne B.

Yelp
So disappointed. After reading great reviews, my family and I stopped in today for coffee and muffins. We hiked Chimney Rock this morning and were craving caffeine and pastries. My caramel coconut milk latte was so weak and flavorless, it was undrinkable. My MIL said her iced caramel latte with almond milk was also weak and flavorless. Plus her lemon poppyseed muffin tasted strange - dry and crumbly with almost no flavor. The barista overheard her and said they'd had an issue with the oven that day and it didn't seem like their muffins had cooked all the way. So why would you put them out and sell them? To be fair, my husband and niece enjoyed their coffee drinks. My husband had an iced caramel latte with regular milk and my niece had a frozen Kona mocha. Not sure what happened - it seems like the problem was with the drinks without regular milk. I order my coffee that way all the time though, with coconut milk, and know how it's supposed to taste. Regardless, this was a disappointing experience.

Yelp
Local coffee with a small lounge (closed obviously, during COVID), outdoor patio, parking, and a drive through window. The coffee's great, and they seem to be a bit more careful than a lot of places with regards to serving safely during the pandemic. I always pop in through the drive through when I need a good latte.
google avatar

Kathy B.

Yelp
Great atmosphere , my latte was really good . Lots of variety and staff was friendly . Looking forward to coming back
google avatar

Beverly P.

Yelp
Sweet little coffee shop, offering many varieties of coffee drinks as well as traditional. The staff are young, energetic and always seem glad to assist customers. They also have a variety of baked goods to choose from. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy with an outside dog-friendly area. Lovely mountain surroundings. Definitely a lovely place.
google avatar

Allison D.

Yelp
It was exactly what we expected from a coffee shop. We got two mocha lattes and a vegan chocolate pumpkin muffin. The service and coffee were good. The coffee is as good or better than an upscale coffee shop and the prices were comparable as well. The muffin was excellent. This is awesome since it is easy to mess up vegan baked goods. I would highly recommend visiting Mountain Mojo's. Side note: There was a fascinating fellow with a pet broccoli visiting with another gentleman at a table. I believe they were filming the interaction. Quirky and fun...kind of like the coffee shop.

Yelp
Love supporting small, local business, especially with treats this good! Our daughter turned my husband and me onto the frozen chai. We're now addicted and try to make the trek to MoJo as often as we can for that. So yummy! Our littlest one also enjoys the peanut mocho. (I can agree. It's delish too!) And our others love the mocha frappe. Can't wait to try the hot teas and coffees in the fall and winter months. Great, cozy spot! And such friendly staff!
google avatar

Bethany S.

Yelp
Good coffee with lots of choice. The quiche and banana bread was good. Not a lot of options for eats but tasty. Cozy seating for relaxing with good wifi. Nice ambience and outside area to enjoy if weather is nice.

Yelp
Yay, drive through coffee!! This is a super cute place with friendly staff. I've never encountered them being closed without notice, but funny thing I do, I tend to frequent businesses during their normal hours of operation. You can find these hours easily by Googling their name and looking at their Facebook page. They have never been open Sundays and that is clearly posted on their Facebook page. I don't understand posting a negative review of a business because you were having a "throw caution to the wind" kind of day and not at least calling/Googling to find out if a place was open. I'm personally thrilled they are there and love the convenience of the drive through. Besides Mountain Mojo there are approximately zero options in Fairview to do this unless you count Sonic, which I do not. They have a nice selection of pastries and snacks, but I have only tried their bagels, which come toasted and smothered in cream cheese. I'm not a muffin person but their strawberry muffin was super moist/yummy. They have lots of coffee drink options, although I usually just stick to regular coffee but I am glad that they offer some healthier coffee add ins (skim/soy milk, stevia instead of Splenda, etc.) Oh and their open/close sign is adorable. Another clear indication of them being open/closed. ;-)

Felicia K.

Yelp
great atmosphere, great wifi, great drinks. I came here for 2 hours to do some work and sipped on a green tea. Comfy couches for maximum comfort!

Jenna S.

Yelp
This is my favorite coffee spot in Asheville! The Cubanos are the best I've had! A definite must visit!

Yelp
We were visiting from out of town, and quite frankly I'm a bit of a Starbucks ho. So was disappointed that the closest 'bucks was way further than I would want to drive, considering that the friends we were staying with was a good ten minute trek up the mountain above Fairview. We had passed this place on our way out for the day and turned around thinking it might a possible option. First sip was, well different. But the more I got into my cup the more I realized I had found someone that could make a better latte than Starbucks ever dreamed of. On our way to visit the Biltmore on Sunday, we were anxious to stop by here again. Alas, they were closed (CLEARLY POSTED ON THEIR HOURS SIGN MONTE!), so we disappointingly drove to the Starbucks outside of the Biltmore gate. Monday morning they were open and we were able to partack in latte heaven one last time before we left for home. The owner and her staff were super sweet and helpful. They have assorted pastries and sandwiches (which were good!). Wide open space, very cute and cozy place to hang out if we'd had more time. As someone previously said, there is a drive thru, and they also have a cute little patio on the side. All in all a awesome little place. We wish them lots of luck, we'll be back!

Michaelia B.

Yelp
I absolutely love this coffee joint! Masters of cold brew, love the hot coffees in the colder weather, and being able to treat myself to a baked treat occasionally is the best! And oh yeah...the baristas are always so nice and smiley. Not like a lot of other coffee places.

Rogue C.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. Great coffee and even better service. Can't find a better coffee experience in town.
google avatar

Kaleigh Q.

Yelp
This spot is my go-to and I am so grateful that it's located in Fairview. The atmosphere is comfy, cozy, and inviting. There are many options for breakfast food (bagels, parfaits, etc) and for baked goods (GF muffins, banana bread, cookies, etc). The drinks are always made well and there are plenty of options for your drink order. The staff makes sure to greet me and I genuinely enjoy my interactions with them. Overall, a wonderful coffee shop and a beautiful community in Fairview.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
My coworker and I were staying in Fairview after a conference in Asheville and decided to grab a quick caffeine fix here, and we're SO glad we did! The vibe is very cool and casual and both our coffees were absolutely **amazing.** I'm so used to needing to doctor my coffee after getting it but that would've been a crime with the Mexican Mocha I got; it was beyond perfect. Definitely returning the next time I'm in town!

Phallon S.

Yelp
Great coffee made by people who really love coffee, and it shows. It is hard to find delicious hand-crafted coffee and this place delivers. The Maggie is absolutely delicious!

Yelp
Mojo is a great place that all my friends and I love. It's a nice place for group studying after school. :)

Yelp
The new Daymoon Coffeebar in Fairview, NC (Formerly known as Mountain Mojo) is fantastic. Meets all your Coffee and tea needs along with extra indulgences. My husband and I got the Mexican mocha they are so great. We had discovered them out in Washington state and we're excited to see that they make them here in North Carolina. We are now regulars...Thank you guys and good luck with the business!!!
