Daytona International Speedway

We have been wanting to see the Daytona Speedway and decided to drive up to Daytona to take a tour. There is a track tour that departs every half hour. We visited on a weekday morning, and we had no wait time. The tour is on an open-air trolly that takes you out on the track and stops at various points where you can get out for photo ops. We drove around the track and through pit row then stopped at the winner's circle on the infield. We proceeded through the tunnel to the Toyota entrance where we went into the grandstands for a magnificent view of the track. We had never been here before and were blown away by the enormity of the facility. Our tour guide was awesome very informative and had a great sense of humor. They offer a variety of different tour options. The track tour lasts about an hour. and we had no wait time. After the tour we enjoyed strolling through the Speedway Museum learning about the history of the race and track. The exhibits were awesome. We had a blast. A definite must see if you are in the Daytona area. Just stop in at the tour office and take a ride.

This is the crown jewel of the NASCAR circuit. We did the tour which was very comprehensive. The tour brings you right on the track and into areas that you would not normally get to see. The guide gives you a great history of the track and can answer any question that was thrown at him. It's a great feeling to be on the track and think of all the history that happened there during NASCAR races. I was very surprised at the banking of the turns. It doesn't look that steep on TV but in person you really see it for what it is. They have a great museum which is totally worth taking a look at. This is a must see for any race fan.

Our guide was clearly a hardcore fan — driving the open-air trolley like he was trying to set a personal best, and absolutely vibrating with excitement because the Rolex race is in a few days. Then he casually drops: “You can sign up and bring your own vehicle to do laps.” And I had this vivid mental image of our Travato ripping around the track at 32 mph… dogs screaming… Husband gripping the wheel like we’re entering the Thunderdome… I laughed so hard I almost needed medical attention.

I'm a die-hard race fan, but i must say I've never understood why concession prices are through the roof at this place, business wouldn't exist if it wasn't for race fans. A cap, $40, t-shirt, $40, popcorn, $6, can of beer, $11, I just got my food from Dollar General and made my own sandwiches. NASCAR should do better by their customers, greed, nothing but greed. Friendly staff, workers very polite and willing to lend a hand if need be. Some of the best stock car racing you will ever see!!!!! I give 5 stars for the racing!!!!!,,,,,,,I wanted me a racing cap for race day, but flat refuse to pay $40 for a cap, when you can get a ship load made for .50 each. from China, so good ole Walmart had a beautiful racing cap for $11.97,,,how you like that NASCAR!!!!!....Not trying to make anyone mad, I'm just telling the truth.

Well run Truck Race. Viewing was excellent with big screens showing back side of track and Drivers status. Parking was well coordinated with Shuttle vehicles right to front entrance, as it should be for $55 parking fee! Had GA seats and had our choice of where we sat. Food and drinks were a bit pricey, but was expected.

Daytona 2026 - what an amazing place. Prerace concert, history everywhere, and the race..row 6 off pit row....no i ain't rich so no bix seat or start/finish line seating...but these seats were perfect. Food pricey as you'd expect...drinks pricey but really not that bad (as to cost) for the venue and the event. Staff was awesome; helpful and most were very knowledgeable.

Daytona Nascar 500. Amazing show. Something that once in a lifetime you have to experience. Very exciting and fun where you can eat, drink and enjoy with the whole family. You can take your cooler with food, drinks and you can enter without any problem.

Amazing, first time experiencing the Daytona 500. Can't wait to do it again. The only struggle was getting out. It took 2 hours to get out of the parking lot, but it was still worth it.

We attended our first ever NASCAR race - Coke Zero 400. It exceeded our expectations for sure! We prepaid for our parking and found directions to the lot very simple. Quick access to the track area. We stopped in the visitors center - looked at displays. We talked to a very nice man at guest services who directed us to the correct gate for our seats. We enjoyed the cars on display at each gate. We watched "some of the concert". We loved watching the jets take off for the flyover. Loved the National Anthem, flyover and helicopters later. The race? OMG. Loved every minute! Can't wait to go back!

Avoid visiting in the summer -- it was oppressively hot, and I say that as a Florida resident. Our friends bought the tickets, and while we aren't particularly interested in car racing, I have to admit the museum portion was surprisingly engaging. It reminded me a bit of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. At the beginning of the tour, they take your photo and offer packages similar to those at Disney. The basic photo package runs about $40. We also learned some interesting history: up until 1995, the site was a two-story visitors' center located outside the oval's fourth turn. The first floor featured a ticket office and some racing memorabilia, while the second floor displayed a wall of photos of past Daytona 500 winners. Over the years, the space has undergone several updates. On July 1, 2007, Daytona USA was officially renamed the Daytona 500 Experience. Since 1997, the winning car from the Daytona 500 has been impounded and displayed at the Experience for an entire year. In some cases, the driver's suit, helmet, or other race-used gear is also included. The winning driver also gets the honor of unveiling the logo for the following year's Daytona 500. We also appreciated learning more about racing history at the North Turn in Ponce Inlet, Florida -- especially the early days of beach. We ended up driving over to the North Turn restaurant in Ponce Inlet later that day to look at the memorabilia from some of the first races on Daytona beach (the actual beach). Go if you love racing.

It's most famous for its annual NASCAR race in February. However it also hosts the very popular annual Bike Fest where motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the world meet to enjoy the comraderie of fellow bikers, look at new products, and of course enjoy the great Florida weather. While looking at new vendor products, we met and spoke with some guys from Canada and also a guy from Latvia which underscores just how popular this event is This is the official welcoming center for the event but there are several locations around the area that have activities and vendor sites set up as well. If you're a motorcycle rider then this is one of the premier events of the year to attend. I'm lucky in the fact I only live a little over an hour's ride south of here so I usually attend every year. This year's crowd seemed to be one of the largest I've ever seen which makes traveling around a bit challenging especially at the traffic lights. Go and have a good time but ride responsibly and safely.

I had a great time here and I think everything before the race was more exciting than the race itself. It is fun to feel the wind and hear/feel the sounds and smell the tires burning on the track. I think the carnival (I'll call it) for the Fanzone and outside the track were great though. So many activities and food and people, there was also a concert. Park for free in lot seven and take the shuttle over.

Absolutely horrible, rude, and obnoxious gate agent mgr. Drove all the way down from Bristol TN to be treated worse than I have been treated in my life at the Infield Gate. Manager was screaming at her agents as well as me. She should be fired immediately! If you want to be treated like an adult, a human, or just a customer dont go to the Rolex!!

We went with The Villages Convertible Club to do the road course. There were about 80 of us. They split us into two groups and we were given clear instructions on driving laps. No passing and for goodness sake, no driving up on the angled track banks. I've never been to a speedway before and was shocked at the steep banks. Wow. I can't even imagine it. My husband had a great time driving our car they way it's meant to be driven. The whole experience was extremely organized for us.

Big beautiful bridge... Quite a workout to walk up and over the bridge. Good view from the high point! People Gish of the bridge!! Some bike over. Not many walkers.

I did the raceway tour here. It was very informative. The tour guide was pretty knowledgeable and showed us what happens behind the scenes and educated us in what goes into the upkeep of the raceway. I'd do this again. It's worth checking out.

Visited the speedway for both the Daytona 500, followed by the speedway tour. I believe our tour guides name was Ed, and he was amazing! Very entertaining, informative, and friendly. I really enjoyed the whole experience. We had a group of 5, and all enjoyed the experience - both NASCAR fans and not

The Daytona 500 race at Daytona International Speedway was such fun. So exciting when those engines start you a feel the speed every time the cars go around from toes to head. Many good options and every was nice. NASCAR fans are very loyal. The location is close to everything. Only thing was the President attended and the secret service stopped letting attendees in the heat for hours so people passing out. We looked like sardines. The race was definitely an exciting experience

I can highly recommend taking the tour if given the chance. You'll gain a ton of knowledge and fun facts about the history of this track and of nascar. It'll end with the NASCAR hall of fame.

My husband and I came to the speedway for the Turkey Run car show over Thanksgiving weekend. It was massive and so much fun! We bought tickets for $20 each online. We checked at a guest services tent outside the speedway to see if we needed anything before heading inside. The rep at the tent gave us the whole run down of the show, including a map. She let us know there are golf carts driving around that we could flag down for a ride to another area of the car show. We did see several of them driving around. The field bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Lots of food and beverage vendors to choose from. Some were cash only so we had to locate an ATM inside, which was not far from the vendors at all. Overall a great time!

Me and my family had so much fun, brought my dad down to watch the races for his birthday! Best money my brother, my mother, and me ever spent

Watching the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway is a bucket list event for a lot of sports fans. I was luckily enough to attend the race and get garage and pit access pre-race. While there is nearby, expensive parking, you can also park in lot 7, which has buses going back and forth to the track. The aura of Daytona International Speedway is legendary. There are so many booths, stores, and events going on pre-race. You will not be bored at all. As for the race itself, you can view the entire track from the 400-level seats. It was fantastic being able to see the race at all moments throughout.

Tour was nice. Facilities good. Staff inside was surly. Ticket takers, information, ticket agents... All old men who seemed angry to be there. Smiling and being friendly was lost on them. Grumpy, rude, unpleasant people. Tour guides were nice.

I had no idea that this race would be so much fun! From the very beginning until the end I was hooked. I actually did not think that I would enjoy the race but I thought it was fantastic and I definitely want to go back again!

I came here for Rockville, and it was a great time. Such an amazing experience! Will definitely be coming back.

Amazing experience visiting the Daytona International Speedway. The tour amazing. They take you everywhere and tell you the history of the speedway and you can visit the museum after. Parking is complementary. Thank you for the great experience.

So fun. Attended the Rolex 24 hour race. It was so fun. This place is huge so it's easy to get lost. They have shuttles which made things way easier. Food was a little pricey, but delicious. Clean and well maintained. Lots of staff on hand to help.

What an amazing experience! My husband and I did a tour today...we'll be attending the Daytona 500, and we wanted to be able to experience the track before 101,000 people fill the stands. SO EXCITED!!! It was awesome learning more about NASCAR history, seeing the memorabilia, hearing the cars make their rounds on the track (the driving experience)....I cannot wait to see dozens of cars speeding around that track!! Everyone who works here clearly loves their job. Thank you everyone. See you in two weeks!!! Edit: Attended the Daytona 500 yesterday...one of the best experiences we've ever had!! Tour review First time visitor. Not a NASCAR fan. Friendly Value Informative The tour was nothing short of amazing! Our guide Tom provided us with a thorough overview of the track, history, stats, fun facts and more. There were several stops to get out and explore (track, grandstand, winners circle). Tom offered to take photos at several locations. The tour ends at the museum which is also included with tour tix. John was just as informative as Tom. He answered all of our questions. He was patient and friendly. The collection of vehicles and equipment is impressive. I appreciate that my ticket included free digital photos. The tour ran a little more than an hour. We spent another hour in the museum and gift shop. Without question, I'd def return for another tour.

This review is of the 400 mile NASCAR race now held in August each year. I have been coming to Daytona International Speedway every year since 1988. The July 4th race was originally called the Firecracker 400, which held true until 1987 when the name changed to the Coke Zero 400. The fanfare was always patriotic with epic military flyovers, a huge American flag during the Star Spangled Banner, red/white/blue car paint jobs and the race finished with an enormous fireworks display. In 1989 Firecracker changed to Pepsi with a sponsorship deal and the date was moved to the closest Saturday to July 4th. The name changed to Coke Zero 400 in 2008 when a group of tracks agreed to make Coca-Cola the official beverage provider. Then this "July 4th" tradition all came to an end in 2020 when the date was moved to August in trade for Daytona being the final race before the playoffs begin. Fireworks still finish the night as the winning driver celebrates with the fans. Prior to the race various sponsors give away hats, shirts, coupons and other goodies outside the track in the "Midway". The three car makers usually bring their latest street cars for fans to experience. There are always a number of retired race cars on hand to take pictures with. Racing simulators and virtual reality productions are common. Drivers always make their presence before the race for autographs and interviews in front of the audience. Check the schedule for who and where. On non-race weekends the track offers tours with a museum outside the track. I have never done this, but it's on my list if in town for more than race day. Speedway Tour are $25 for Adults, $20 for kids aged 5 to 12, and free for kids under 4. Before the race is always a concert by a country music superstar. Then each driver is introduced on a stage, walks a runway out to pickup trucks on the track and driven around the oval for all fans to see. You can buy special passes to get down into the pits, garages and by the cars as they line them up. Fans go to their seats as the drivers enter their cars. Racing is fast and furious with cars at over 190 mph. And the wrecks are scary at that speed.

After driving 7 hours the day before, we got to the speedway at 10 a.m. Parking cost us $30 and we walked almost 2 miles. Got to the gates by 11 and NEVER moved a foot for 2 hours. We listened to the entire pre-race festivities from outside the gate. It was horrible. Employees and screeners were very mean and didn't care that we waited so long. Everyone outside the gate got there at a time that was early enough to make it inside. I have never been so disgusted and upset at the same time. Seems no one was prepared!

This year, my wife and I attended the Daytona 500 for the first time, an event that has long been on my bucket list. We finally realized this goal. We arrived at the infield parking lot at 8:00 AM and waited for the Fan Zone to open at 8:30 AM. After spending approximately an hour in the Fan Zone, we took a tram to the Turn 1 entrance. We reached the entrance around 10:15 AM, only to find a line of thousands of people moving at a sluggish pace. By 1:50 PM, we finally made it through the line and entered the speedway, but unfortunately, we had missed all the pre-race festivities by that time. When we finally settled into our seats at 2:30 PM, it was raining. Given that the race was sold out, better arrangements should have been made for the crowd. This experience was extremely disappointing.

I've been coming to Daytona since the 1980's for the Nascar races. I love the speed, the smells, the racing. They've done some major renovations to the Speedway, moderernized it in a great way. One of my favorite racing facilities anywhere, and this time was no different. Great racing, a professional race track.

What once was just a race track on two of my favorite video games - Daytona USA on arcade and Forza Motorsport 7 - this race track came to life when we went to witness the Rolex 24 Hour Race... in Daytona International Speedway! We were asked by a family member if we wanted to watch the race, my husband and I were so excited that a "no" answer was not even an option. For me, it was a dream come true, bucket list checked experience to be in one of the famous race tracks in the world. Famous for the Daytona 500, anyone who loves to watch fast cars fly endlessly and listen to the engines roar, would be as elated as me. Fast track to race day, we drove a couple of hours to Daytona and there's already some traffic towards the exit. There's parking available but if you want to explore before the event start, then plan to come early. Lodging at GEICO Campgrounds within the raceway is available for those who like to have an overnight in your car, truck, tent or RV, but snagging a reservation a couple weeks before the event is highly suggested as campsites are on high demand. Alternate campsites and hotels are also available a few blocks away from the raceway. Our passes included seats at the stands and an infield experience. There was a car exhibit, and we enjoyed walking the infield and got to see some behind the scenes action. Safety is of highest priority here as there's a lot of guides that direct car and pedestrian traffic. Though we had seats reserved, we didn't even bother going to the stands as there are fenced areas surrounding the speedway where you can watch cars pass up close. We pretty much just navigated around to find the best angle and view. There are food concessions available, and they are a bit pricey... So don't go hungry, otherwise, you'll get hangry! There's a souvenir shop and also a few other vendors selling anything (from painting, hats, etc) that involved cars. As to the weather, don't get fooled by the blue skies and Florida sunshine on the photos I posted. Because this island girl was freezing! It was during the peak of the cold during winter and temperatures do go below 30 degrees here. To fight the cold, best to layer clothing so you can adjust when you get warm. The long walks around the area also helped. I can't wait to attend my next event here. Hoping that it would be soon!

This place is amazing. It truly is the World Center of Racing and a must-see for any race fan. To walk on this track was a thrill. You feel the wind blowing and hear all those great memories flowing through of the races past while remembering those who we've lost here. I didn't meet Dale Sr but he was in the best. I felt a gust of wind in Turn 4 and man, was I intimidated. As an Earnhardt fan, I felt at peace after walking through Turn 4. Got to walk through the suites too. The views from the stands are amazing. Not a bad seat in the house.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Speedway. The size and scope of this place is amazing and there's so much history behind it. I was also impressed how neat and clean the facility was. Our tour guide, Sam, was extremely knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts as he took us around the speedway. We rode on a tram that was pulled behind a truck, next to the track, through the middle of the track, around the outside, and we were also able to go into the stands before going inside to the museum. My only complaint is that the trams make so much noise rattling around that sometimes we could not hear our guide over the speaker. If you are at all interested in NASCAR or motor sports in general I recommend this tour.

The tour was informative, but the tour guide was insensitive to a person with disability. My nephew is visually impaired and uses a white cane to guide him, The tour guide did not leave seats in the front of the bus available to him, letting him walk all the way to the back of the bus, he had to feel his way through the crowded bus. This was the course every time we entered the bus. I hate to think if there was an emergency and everyone needed to evacuate, it could have been a disaster. When we booked the VIP tour we were told that the Daytona International Speedway catered to the disabled. Which did not take place.

Better have a long time if you want to buy tickets at the counter. Let's just say speed is not their specialty. If however you like incompetence and attitude this ticket counter is for you.

My husband and I delivered our travel trailer to the infield of the Daytona International Speedway this Saturday. It was our first time at the Speedway and although we were not there for the race, just seeing the field was an awesome experience! The infield is HUGE. There were hundreds of RV's and travel trailers there, may of which had inflatable pools, outdoor seating areas, and fun decorations. There was a bar tent, multiple restrooms, and fun to be had everywhere. Until we were there I didn't realize how steep the angle of the track is. All of the employees were really nice and helped us find where we were going. We've never been to any other race track so we have no basis of comparison. The signage was clear and easy with the color coating. After seeing the track we're excited to come back and enjoy a race.

They stole my tickets. Do not trust. I paid over $1000 for Daytona 500 tickets in December 2024. January 21 I get another order confirmation email, view tickets here. Tickets are gone from my app, and it's showing a $1000 credit. Customer service knows nothing, opens a complaint with the Speedway. They call two days later, the very rude lady is angry at ME, because "she drew the short straw" to have to make the call. They stole my tickets, initially kept my money, I had to contact them, and they won't compensate me for stealing my tickets I paid for, cancelled flights or hotels, and treated me like their theft of MY tickets is my fault. Disgusting behavior, employee, and company. They suggested I try SeatGeek for tickets twice the price. Illegal and disgusting behavior.

We were driving through Daytona and decided to take a tour of the Daytona Speedway. I suggest you make a reservation, especially during the Covid times because they only take so many on a tour. The tour is approximately an hour and takes you onto the speedway where you can see the inclines and the tour operator tells you lots of things regarding racing, the drivers, tournaments, etc. I'm not a NASCAR fan but I still found it interesting. Part of the tour is on a tram and then you walk into the stadium to see what the fan would experience. Afterwards you can go into the museum area (included with your ticket) and you can see old cars wth cool tidbits about drivers and cars. There is of course a gift shop where you can purchase to your hearts content. There is also a snack shop area where you can get refreshments. All in all it was an enjoyable experience.

The World Center of Racing. The tour was excellent, I can't wait to return for a CUP race.

Attended an Rv show that was being put in by a local dealer today. I'm guessing 300 units were here on display. Holy smokes I can't believe what these are selling for now. It's nuts

We stopped by the Daytona International Speedway for one of their tours. Coming up I-95 you get your first glimpse of this gigantic piece of sports history. The admission for the tour is quite an amazing value...$25/person. The tour lasts an hour and covers the entire property of the speedway by open air tram. Our guides name was Glenn. He knew so much about the workings of the speedway. We got to see the grandstand, track, victory lane and our admission even included the Hall of Fame museum. You also get a souvenir photo of your stay. Stop by and check out the speedway...you will truly enjoy it.

Each year I visit the International Speedway to spend some time enjoying Daytona Bike week and Biketoberfest. Yes, there are "Bikers" but they wont bite at this venue so don't be scared to stop in. If you're into all the great new technology going into motorcycles and awesome gear coming out, there is no better place to check it out than at The Speedway. There are people from all over the world coming here to visit so the crowd can be quite mixed which is great for "people watching". The main purpose of my visit each year is to test ride and explore all the new motorcycles and gear. If you're in the market for a new bike or have an endorsement and are unsure of what to buy, there is no better way than to try out some of the bikes you think you like than decide when you are ready. The great thing is there are no sales people here! Your test riding brand new bikes from the manufacturer of the product so no "high pressure sales tactics". Get there early and start signing up for rides as the time slots fill up quick. Some manufactures will let you ride anytime all day and some only have specific times they ride. Ride any of these brands: Harley, Indian, Vanderhall, Slingshot, BMW, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki and Can-am. I recommend saving Harley and Indian until after you ride the other brands of your choice. Harley and Indian have a large supply of bikes and you can pretty much ride all day with them which is great! In my opinion, Harley has the best tent. Harley provides free charging stations, free water, a large shaded tent, conferrable seats, high top tables and there are a ton of workers ready and willing to assist you. Note about the rides: you do need to provide a valid ID, phone number, e-mail and fill out paperwork via digital pad that protects the manufacture in the event you have an accident on the bike. The rider is responsible for their own injuries but the manufacturer is responsible for the bike so be careful out there. The process takes about 3-5 minutes but after that, your good to go the remainder of Bike Week/Biketoberfest. Most of the test rides require you to ride in a group but several of the manufactures ask if you know "the loop". If you are unsure of the loop you can just follow another rider or the ORANGE arrows that help direct newbies around the airport and back to the speedway. Once you ride the loop, you pretty much got it down. At this time Harley, Indian and Slingshot are the only manufactures that do not require you to ride in a group. I usually bring my own refreshments and snacks to the Speedway since I spend most of my day here and because the food and drink prices are on the outrageous side. You are better off going across the street to Jimmy Johns or one of the other restaurants in the area. The Speedway supply's a good amount of port-o-let's and hand wash stations so no need to "hold-it" while fighting a crowd for a urinal. If you don't ride a motorcycle and want to check out the events, there is large vehicle parking at several entrances around the speedway and on Williamson Blvd. There are close to 100 vendors at the speedway and it's not all motorcycles. There are a lot of quality jewelry, clothes, boots, sunglasses, audio equipment and much more to explore. If you have been wondering what Bike Week and Biketoberfest is all about, The International Speedway is a great place to start. Hope to see you there!

I was here for the 2-Day Daytona 500 (or 522 as it went into overtime). I thoroughly enjoyed the race and it's an exciting place to watch. However, the venue fell through on a few items. Rain - Ok, I know they can't control the rain and having an event get cancelled. But seriously, to have water draining heavily into the areas under the stands is a bit crazy, especially after all of the renovations. The stairwells were absolutely soaked and it looked like a waterfall coming down onto the stairwell. This is both an inconvenience and a safety hazard that should be fixed. Absolutely terrible. Security - Waiting to get in on Sunday was a nightmare. There were two huge lines leading into the fan-zone area. Just as we got close to entering, they split the line and told us to go to another gate. People that got there after us were still in the shorter line and probably got in before us. Yes, I know there was extra security for the President, but we got there early to account for it, only to be shuffled between gates and lines. Trash - Plenty of people that attend are slobs and leave their trash under their seats, not much the venue can do about that. I took my trash with me to throw away only to find a trash can that could accept no more trash (it was like that for a while too). You'd think for a large event, keeping trash cans empty would be a priority. The only thing keeping this from being lower stars was the staff. Anyone I interacted with was super friendly and helpful. The people driving the golf cart got us into the Fan Zone even with all of the traffic. The security staff was super friendly and even got the youngster a Secret Service pin. Day 2 was much better with security and the fan-zone as there were less people and less rain. I still got dripped on for some reason in one of the inside areas. The races were enjoyable and it seems like there's a pretty good view from every seat. Many of the concession stands were closed on Day 2 so lines for the ones that were open were extra long. We had to go to a completely different level to find food.

Watching speed racing live is a completely different experience than watching it on television. For me, it was something I didn't really understand the hype, but when you are there in person and you literally feel the revving of the engines, the gust from the vehicles as they speed by, and the particles of rubber lofting in the air from the tires, you'll have a different perspective on it. These type of events are one of those things where you just relax, zone out, enjoy the atmosphere, and have a nice cold beer while everyone anticipates who will be the winner. It's quite remarkable how much you'll get into it towards the end and how much the placement of the drivers shift. Anyways, some major perks of going to a race event is that you're allowed to bring in a cooler filled with your own snacks and beverages, if desired. It can't be a humongous cooler, but one of the smaller 14"x14" coolers, which is plenty for 1-2 people. The parking situation works pretty well too with the shuttles running back and forth. I was worried about the Daytona 500 being ridiculously packed, but I was actually able to utilize their free parking and shuttle program and was able to get out at a reasonable time after the event. All in all, I'd go back to watch another race!

Really enjoyed the speedway tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, he was able to answer any questions. Really liked standing on the start finish line. The 31 degrees of banking was amazing.

Awesome time! Highly suggest marking this off the bucket list. You can bring your own cooler and snacks, makes the event affordable and a little more comfortable. Sit high in the stands for a better view. Close to the middle is best!

Now this was fun!!! My wife and I were on a cruise down to Nassau from New York. The first stop is Port Canaveral so Helene and I took the tour to Daytona Speedway. I am so glad that we decided to to stop here and take this very detailed tour tour. The bus ride from the dock to the speedway was an hour and once we arrived we boarded the tram and we were off to the show. We were on an all access tour and really had the opportunity to see the inner workings of the speedway. We started out with a tram ride around the outside of the track and when we were halfway through, turned on to the track. We drove along the inside as our tram was definitely not able to handle the 13 or 31 degree banks. Actually it was tough to walk up the 13 degree bank at the race starting point. From the trip around the track we went over to the media center, where the winners go for the interviews and you have an opportunity to use a restroom here. Then on to the amazing winner's circle. This whole part was both interesting and fun. At the winners circle they had a photographer take your picture with their camera for a print at the end, or... they would take one with your camera or phone too. (This was just such a courteous thing to do for people who usually do not buy the pictures.) We also had the opportunity to go up into the stands... Now that was amazing realizing that the stands hold 101,500 people. They're big. After the tram ride we were left off at the museum where you get a chance to get close-up to so many cars. It was an awesome experience. They also have a couple of short movies playing where you get a chance to re-live some fun moments and can now appreciate the race more. No tour is complete with out a visit to the gift shop. Plenty to choose from with all the cars of all your favorite drivers, miniature, of course. This is a five star experience and I recommend it to anyone in the area or coming off a cruise ship.

I am not a NASCAR enthusiast but I enjoyed the tour. The tram takes you around the track and to be up close it is pretty impressive to see the banks and hear the story of building such a historic racetrack. Our trip was cut short due to lightning but we still felt like we got to see quite a bit. The museum was underwhelming but I am sure race fans appreciated the history. I was disappointed that there wasn't more around Dale Earnhardt.

It was my first time to the speedway and I loved every second about it. We did the infield experience and toured the garages. It was super cool to meet the crew members from multiple teams. The tram into the midfield was awesome with all the people and then seeing the cars roll into turn 1 in a pack and the engines wound up. I can't wait to go back.

We took the hour long tour. It's mostly by tram but a few stops. The entire complex is huge. This is basically the size of a small city. The tour guide was funny and informative. You don't have to be a NASCAR fan to enjoy the tour. It's impressive and informative and fun.

Amazing tour-- I'm not a NASCAR fan, but I love history and something informational and new! This experience provided that-- great sense of personable experience and not a large tour group, lots of stops to get out and be on the track, winners circle and other areas! Museum tour after the driven tour was stunning too. Every part was captivating, clean and curious!

Decided to come here last minute on our final day of vacation. No one in our party is a racing fan, but even just driving by the speedway is impressive. Came in for the all access tour and left excited to come back for a race sometime. The all access tour typically takes you onto the track to experience the 31 degree grade; however, a race was running while we were there so we could not go on it. Although I was a little disappointed by this, it was amazing just seeing the multi-story 31-degree grade from the infield. And seeing cars actually racing was also very cool. Our tour guide was amazing and, since he knew we were disappointed by not being able to go on the track, constantly checked in with us to make sure we felt the tour was still worth it - it definitely was! We learned a lot about the history of the track and racing in general and had an exceptional experience here. Now I can't wait to see a NASCAR race here!
