We came in not knowing what to expect other than they had rental space available for an upcoming kitten adoption event. Turns out that it was an amazing store filled with retro vibes such as books, albums, stickers, pins, posters and a ton of memories. The owners and staff were helpful. They seemed to really enjoy helping and doing their jobs. What a hidden gem. Thank you, cant wait to come back.

DBZ is my local used book and record shop. Found them about a year ago and I go often. Every time is a wonderful experience. The shop owners are the kindest people. They have something for everyone here. I come and browse the record collection and my son (8 yrs) looks at the books and comics and we always leave with something. They have live shows in the back rooms and events for locals for their community. I cannot say enough great things about this place. They have a loyal customer in me and I suggest you check it out too!

Wonderful little hidden gem to find some books, tapes, CDs, DVDs, rare books and vinyl records, funko pops, anime, children’s books, video games and more. Wonderful hometown hospitality. Super friendly and inviting atmosphere. Genuine hard working staff with outstanding service. Very clean and organized. One perk they have is bringing in your old collection of vinyl records, tapes, CDs. Once assessed by management they can give store credit towards a future purchase. A nice perk if you’re wanting to update your home library. 5 stars all around!

The owners and staff were very nice. The building is older, but they have a huge selection of great music and a bunch of books. Will definitely be a go to for us. Worth checking out if you're into music or reading.

Literally my favorite place in corona, the prices are amazing and they have a pretty large selection of music, books and some miscellaneous goodies. Owner is super chill too !!

I stopped into this bookstore with my teen daughters who were looking for some Manga. What a wonderful little store. My girls found lots of things they wanted and I found a handful of books as well that I would not have expected to find. I love this bookstore. The gentleman that checked us out was so kind and informative. Just everything you expect in a little bookstore.

stopped in again for independent bookstore day! my partner and i searched high and low for the golden ticket to win a free year of audiobooks with libro.fm (an amazing alternative to audible btw) and found it tucked away in their horror/true crime section :) aside from that we picked up a couple of other goodies including some stickers and a rare copy of tolkien' smith of wooton major it was great stopping by and chatting with the owners who were just lovely folks! will be back soon

Hi! I went to DBZ Books and Records a couple of days ago. This is a nice, quaint, little bookstore in what I consider old town Corona. I went there because I have a bunch of old 45's and 78's I was looking to sell. The store is nice. The people working there even nicer! They don't deal much in the types of records I was trying to sell. But they were kind enough to send me to another used record store that does. I really appreciated that they were willing to do that for me. Definitely give this place a look for books and records. Jim

I love both book and record stores so when I discovered there was one that was BOTH? Well that's what I call a must visit! Located right off of 6th St in Corona, DBZ Books N Records isn't the easiest place to find because if you blink you'll miss it. I also parked in the small strip mall nearby because they have about four designated parking spots on the side. DBZ looks pretty small from the outside but once you're inside you'll see they maxed every bit of space in there. New and used books, new and used records, movies, funkos, stickers and patches can be found here. Prices are overall pretty good and "unofficial" record releases are marked, which you don't see much. Much like anything it'll take a bit of effort to find what you want, but it makes the discovery all the more rewarding! Otherwise the friendly staff is more than willing to help answer your questions. If you like books and records, there's no reason you won't like DBZ. They have a nice selection with a bit of everything. They recently opened a new patio area to hold small concerts....I mean they are in close proximity from the old Showcase....ahhh, anyway. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area! Highly recommended!

Super neat store here at Corona! We found it thanks to Yelp! This is a cute little place that has all sorts of unique and interesting things! They have kids' books, books, DVDs, vinyls, stickers, crochet things, and even floaties. It seems like it was an older house that's been converted to a store so there are some designated rooms that have its own theme. It's really just a neat place to browse around. They have some amazing book collections and some cool vinyls too. We ended up picking out one of the vinyl record home. There was just 1 staff that we saw that day but she was very friendly and welcoming. They also priced their items fairly. If you're in the area, I'd recommend that you check this neat little place out.

Great shop with records and books. I enjoyed browsing their selection of records. They have them organized by genre, which is very helpful. They also have lots of rolling bins below the bigger bins that offer even more selection. They had some on sale too and I was able to find a couple of nice records for a good price. They carry both used and new records. The day I went in they happen to be running a sale too. The staff was very welcoming and I would definitely visit again to browse some more. Parking is a bit limited and you might miss the shop itself if you don't have your eye out for it. Happy to support local business.

Great used book find! The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is a big store inside, the outside looks small and a little run down (it looks like it may not be open from the street). I was a little leery going in, but pretty ding dang surprised when I did. The parking isn't very good. The shelves are very neat and they sell collectibles too. I found a book I've been looking for for a couple years and it was ONLY $4! There was a wide selection of kids books too. They have a room full of vinyls and a section for collectibles. If you are looking for a particular book, collectible or vinyl, they can quickly tell you if they have it....it worked for me. I will definitely be back, this is a super find. I am so happy to spread the positive word about this new business.

Just discovered this little gem of a store via Instagram and made my first visit today; so much good stuff, and the employee I talked to was super-amicable. I just love the vibe of a good used book and record store, and this place has some real gems--like an original black-covered hardback of "JAWS," and original issues of Starlog magazine (my monthly bible as a teenager). I can't wait to go back with my wife, who loves this sort of stuff about as much as I do!

I got a record player for Christmas this year & was looking for somewhere local to start my collection. Found this place & decided to stop by. When I tell you this my new favorite store, I say this with all of my heart lol. Getting there, parking was easy. I strolled the store looking for records & fell into a hole of amazing books & a funky pop wall! I ended up spending a good amount of time inside of the store. Everywhere you look, there's awesome paintings of different characters on the wall. It was almost like playing a game! I walked to the counter with 4 albums and was greeted by two awesome people ( wish I would've gotten their names! ) We talked about my records & how they're opening a little venue on their patio in March! Fell in love with how friendly these people were and how welcoming they were. I ended up falling in love with the place and going to start making weekly trips to grow my record & pop! figures collection.

Amazing bookstore in Corona. They have a great selection of books and the prices are unbeatable. It's located near the Corona Public Library. They have a few parking spaces in the back of the store. The staff is very helpful. Highly recommend DBZ Books N Records if you are an avid reader.

I am just popping in again to leave another awesome review for this independent book and record shop. DBZ is my local shop and I love popping in here often just to chat with Dilver and Karen and see what new records they might have gotten in. Anybody into records or books or kids books or horror novels should certainly check this place out. I can't express enough what a wonderful shop this is. Plus I love supporting local independent businesses such as this.

Found this little treasure not too far away from my home. Great little shop and when I walked in extremely pleasant workers. It looks like a family run shop. The front of it makes it look like a small property but once you walk inside it satellites out to different wings. It's actually quite huge. They had an array of absolutely everything from new books to old finals records, cassette tapes, CDs a little bit of comic books. It was really cool to just wander around and take a look at everything. I spent about 30 minutes there and saw a few items I thought were of interest. When I started looking at the prices of these items, I was shocked. I love going to shops like these specifically for being able to try new books in records and artist and publishers and writers you would not normally try because the prices are reasonable and it does not hurt the pocketbook that much if you do not like what you purchased. That is not the case with this shop. The price is in this shop are pretty high. Hence the four stars to set of five. For example, rush moving pictures vinyl they wanted $40 for it. You can buy a brand new one off eBay for 28. For Dan and Dean vinyl they wanted $15 for it. I went to the CD collection average price was five dollars for the large majority of them and a few they want it over $10. I was just a little disappointed at the prices that's all. When I asked the worker if I bought enough if the prices were negotiable, I was told no the prices are hard set. I walked out buying one book probably spent too much for it, but I wanted it. I will probably go back if I really need something and don't mind spending more than it's worth otherwise I'll wait and get it from a different location, but it is still a great place to look around.

This is hands down the COOLEST bookstore I have EVER been to! The selection of books and records is absolutely incredible and everything is very reasonably priced. The employee was super attentive and helpful as well. I live in Big Bear and I'm rarely in the Corona area but I will definitely be making a few special trips just to visit this place!

So excited to have found this record store here in Corona! I spent over an hour browsing and left with a couple TS vinyls brand new and on sale. The owner was so friendly and helpful. My only gripe is that I hate Sixth St so the location is rough, it's always filled with shady characters. But once I was in the store I felt safe and sound. This will definitely be my go-to records store... and the books are an added plus, not what I was there for on my first visit but I'll definitely return for them!

Wow!!! What an absolute Gem of a bookstore. I walked away with a stack full of books and a signed copy by my favorite author. The owner was just incredible and this will definitely be my go to spot for all literary material!!

Easy parking in the back and street parking, welcoming staff, and pleasant atmosphere. It's as if they love what they do! It's a small shop but they packed it with quite a bit to search through. Most books are pre-owned but they do have some new stuff. I was interested in VHS but didn't see many. The music room has so many records and not one of them was trash-- all were definitely collectible and you can play them! That room is too small for what it is though. Would like to see records and music moved out into the main area so people have more room to search. They gave us a free gift and I signed up for their club.

I went there to sell some of my movie, DVDs and music CDs and they did buy maybe about five or six of them. I didn't get much for it, but it was better than throwing them away. This place is a very cute place. There is a whole bunch of things there I'd like to come back and just walk around and take a look because they seem to have a lot of things there record CDs movies books really nice and the people that were serving me were really nice and pleasant. Will definitely come back.

Where should I start?? This place is AMAZING! * such a great variety of books, magazines, manga, even collectibles! * they carry a lot of first edition books as well * my favorite section is their Stephen King section, for all my fellow horror fiction fans * lots and lots of children's books at an amazing price * the staff working here are super friendly and very knowledgeable * if you're looking for a specific book and they don't have it on hand they'll go out of their way to try & get it for you - My son was able to complete his Diary of A Wimpy Kid collection thanks to them at only a fraction of the cost that it would've costed somewhere else - I found some Stephen King books for my personal collection This is our 3rd time visiting DBZ Discounts Store and I'm sure we will be back soon Thank you Jim, Karen & Dilver for making us feel very welcome and providing such great deals

By far one of the best thrift book stores I've ever been to. Not to mention the owner is super friendly and helpful! He's constantly making sure customers are finding everything they need or asking if there's anything in particular they might be looking for. The store is also always super clean and well organized. They opened up more space now too so, it looks like almost everything in the store has their own particular section which is nice. Makes it even easier to find stuff you might be interested in! The prices here are also really good for each quality of book, movies, CDS, and records. Which I personally love because often stores upsell products that look like they're ready to fall apart or simply don't make sense with pricing. All in all, I highly recommend coming here. Guarantee you'll find something you like. Book or no book related haha.

Loved this place, loved the owner. Clean, organized, good value for amazing prices. Books of every genre, dvd's, cd's, tapes, some 8-tracks, records, comic books, snacks, hulk hogan watch oh my! Such a fun place to dig around, the owner is super friendly and willing to help direct you to anything you may be interested in. Picked up a couple comic books, DVD's, books, and stickers. There is record player available in the event you want to check out a record, definitely took the opportunity to listen to a couple records before deciding if I wanted them. Give this place a visit, you will leave with a smile and hopefully some treasures to enjoy. Support local small business.

This store was everything used books stores are supposed to be but usually fail at. It looks like a small store from the outside, but when you step inside, you'll see there are several wings each with different genres and things to look at. Their books are organized so well, it's really easy to find what you're looking for, from classic lit to horror to nonfiction. They also have a selection of leather bound books. You'll find collectibles scattered around the store in their respective genres too. Their records are also well organized and fairly priced. The last thing I have to add is that the service is amazing. You'll be greeted as soon as you step in and if you have any questions, the owners are very knowledgeable. I'm very excited to have come across DBZ Books and Records!

I absolutely love this place! I collect Stephen King books, and they now know me as such in this store they have always been friendly, EXTREMELY helpful, kind, welcoming. Just a really really great place to buy books! They also have a record room, manga, funko pops, an awesome selection of entertainment! I've found some really old, rare and well taken care of books here that won't break the bank! I couldn't recommend DBZ enough!

I found this gem after looking for a local record store for my daughter who just got a record player for Christmas. First thing you should know is that it is easy to pass while looking for it. Second, it's totally worth the effort to find. It has a small storefront directly on 6th St and is not located in a shopping center. The side of the building has a fun mural, however the actual record store is one down from the mural. The couple who own this store are absolutely the nicest people on earth. They were extremely helpful. They have a surprisingly extensive selection of both records and books. They have both new and used vinyl, which means they will buy your records if they are in good shape. The new and used vinyls are arranged by genre, alphabetically as you'd expect. They have a turntable so you can test out the used records, which is a really fantastic idea. I didn't really look through the books as I was there helping my 14 year old navigate the sea of vinyl treasures, but I did take pictures (see attached) and it looks like they have a good selection of books as well. The storefront is deceiving because it looks small on the outside but is actually pretty big on the inside. The records are priced well, especially for a small family-owned business. They have a club membership that offers credit after every $100 spent, which I totally appreciate. Overall, this place rocks. We loved it and will definitely be back. :) highly recommend!

What a welcome addition to Corona! DBZ is a wonderful bookstore located very close to the Corona Public Library. With a considerable selection of books, movies, and collectibles, there is more than enough to keep any visitor browsing for a good hour or two. The owner is very friendly, as is his colleague Jim, who seemed to have an endless catalogue of entertaining stories about his collectible-hunting exploits. Of particular interest is their inventory of youth books. I noticed that numerous shelves were set up for young adult and children's books. My wife and I have visited this store twice. The prices are excellent; how can one argue with $2 Blu-rays?! We also seem to find a lot of worthy items every time. We enjoyed both trips, and we will certainly return again and again. (Note: both times followed visits to the Corona Public Library Friends of Corona bookstore, which is also a fine used bookstore in its own right. Visit both shops and you'll find all kinds of goodies.)

Owner and workers are very sweet and are easy to converse with. A lot of selection for music lovers and the manga section is pretty decent. A really slept on spot in Corona, especially in the IE when it comes to this kind of stuff because you don't really find good stores out here that aren't at the mall or at barnes and nobles. You can find some pretty good finds here, some old manga secondhand from out of print series. Lots of DBZ art and posters all over the place hence the name. Planning on going back soon, if you enjoy Bookoff, this place kind of is reminiscent of that

I came in looking for any Taylor Swift cd and found her first ever cd still in plastic wrap for only $30. The workers were nice and was not crowded. I had second thoughs going but so glad I did. The place does'nt not look promising on the outside but sure is on the inside. Overall this a good little hidden gem.

DBZ Books 'N' records is a wonderful gem of a bookstore tucked away in Corona. If you're a fan of books and old vinyls like I am this place is a must visit.

Best used bookstore I've been to in a while. Was able to not only get the complete Harry Potters series at a reasonable price, we found English/Spanish children's books for our daughter. Spend an hour looking through just a quarter of their selections.

What a great store! I've driven by this gem many times and finally took my teenager daughter in today. So much great stuff, we spent a long time checking it out. Fair prices and great vinyl selection! The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. We will be back for sure!

DBZ Books 'N' Records is probably one of my favorite spots ever, I love music and collecting records; they have so many records in nearly every genre. The vibe inside is very cozy and just nice I'm usually uncomfortable in most stores but in here it just felt chill and really cool. They have a huge sticker and pin selection for very reasonable prices which I loved and I personally don't buy books but they have a huge book/library section that was fun to walk through. Their service was absolutely amazing, the employee I interacted with was very kind and patient as I tried to find the pins I wanted at the checkout. I was also informed that if there were any records or books that I wanted I could ask them to order them if they were available. I ended up leaving with four very nice records, a huge poster, three pins, and a sticker for just about $200, which was very reasonable seeing how much I bought and that at least two of the records I bought were limited edition/anniversary editions. Over all an extremely positive experience and I will definitely be back!

Best secondhand bookstore out there. They have so much variety in their book stock as well as comics, records, and collectibles. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you are looking out for a specific book but they don't have it at the store, you can ask the owner about it and they'll let you know if it arrives and will set it aside for you! Truly the greatest staff ever. The layout and look of the place is also incredible and has a great ambiance. Cannot recommend this place enough.
