Best pizza my family and I have had in a VERY long time…and we’re from New York!!! Was very pleased to see SLICES of fresh mozzarella and have the option to choose it…Little on the pricey side compared to home, but it’s DEFINITELY worth it!!! Also impressed with the amount of toppings, not like other places where you get 1-3 pieces of pepperoni per slice!!!! Also arrived 5 minutes sooner than estimated…Next time I’m in town, I’ll remember this place!!!

:( I really hope the owner and manager start paying attention to reviews. It seems negative ones are getting too frequent. I should have read them myself prior to ordering delivery. (Likely I'd switched to another place). The sub flavor and timing of delivery were good, and that is it. Experience eating it was not good, or the fact that they advertise a 2LT soda and send you a soda can feel like bait and switch. And after a wait of 40 minutes, it just leaves you with a bitter flavor. And it seems they frequently have delivery or pick up errors on orders.

Ordered late night after a conference. Chicken kebob platter and BBQ chicken pizza. Food was a bit late but delivered warm, generous proportions, and fresh great taste. You don’t really expect this type of fresh food from late night fast food joints

Quite simply some of the best late night food in DC. I’ve ordered at all hours of the night (especially after a night out). Inexpensive, great amounts of food, and flavorful to the highest degree. All of their options are good, really good. But the lamb and beef combo is my favorite - super juicy meats, excellent sauce, salad included and chickpeas are a very neat extra they include. Delivery is always on time too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I ordered two slices and received one ENORMOUS slice, with all the toppings as ordered that arrived pretty hot and was good. Instead of a 2nd slice, they sent me a whole small white cheese pizza that I gave to the hotel front desk employees. I ordered carrot cake and received chocolate cake.

DC Pizza & Kabob - Must try! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They serve heavenly pizzas with fresh toppings and perfect crust. The staff is friendly, and the ambiance is inviting. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience!

I literally do not shut up about how GREAT this place is. Their pizza (drunk or sober) or delicious. The Chicken Kabob Burrito/Wrap is delicious. A friend even got a burger once or something and it was also delicious. Yes, it's a random hole-in-the-wall and yes, sometimes there's a bit of a wait but it's WORTH IT. Plus, if you're waiting inside, the vibes are good. They play chill house music YouTube. This is the best pizza in the city I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL.

Pizza was about 30 min late. We ordered one cheese and one Hawaii. It looks like we only received cheese. I cannot taste any ham or pineapple on that pizza... Cannot recommend!! Remark: Ok we threw away most of the pizza and I must say I'm impressed! That was the worst pizza I ever had in my life!!! Good job!

I randomly dropped by here to satisfy my craving for heavy food after a night of having adult cocktails. Since both pizza and kabob is in this place's name, I decided to go with both. When I ordered a kabob combo and slice of pizza, I was surprised that it was like $27. However, when I opened the pizza box and saw how large the slice was, it made perfect sense. One slice of their pizza is like 2-3 slices at other spots. So, you'll definitely get a bang for your buck for pizza slices from DC Pizza & Kabob. Also, my kabob and rice combo were pretty good. Note, since the pizza slice was so large, I saved my kabob and rice combo for later. Even the next day, I thought the kabob was perfectly seasoned and deliciously juicy. I have a feeling that DC Pizza & Kabob definitely will be added to my late-night dining spot. The restaurant really came through in a bind, because it was one of the few places that was open in the area after midnight. The only minor thing: DC Pizza & Kabob does not have a public restroom. So be sure to bring your appetites and an empty bladders.

Order through Door Dash and it was AWFUL! Door Dash has done very little to rectify and I don't think they understand that they are a reflection of the restaurants they deliver for. $100 order to be delivered as I was treating staff to a lunch as a Thank You. When the (4) pizzas arrived they looked like they were dropped and inedible. I was mortified and embarrassed. The Dasher dropped the pizzas an left quickly. Where has customer service gone.

Oh this is tough, just like their food. Pizza was worse than a frozen pizza. I ordered door dash, late night, no good! Wings in a soup of sauce. For real, don't do the pizza at all:

this place has some inconsistent hours of operation and menu options. sometimes they have stuff and others they don't. food quality all depends on the dish you order. i've noticed their chicken kabob quality is superior to any other beef meat there. friendly people.

Best kabobs in the city! Kabob special with chicken, beef, & lamb is my go-to. Delish!

So far the customer service is sub par. Dude that takes orders needs phone etiquette. Other than that my kids really liked the pizza. Delivery was fast.

Worked late and needed a quick meal. One of the few places open was this place, so I ordered delivery. I ordered the steak and cheese with fries and a drink, and decided to treat myself to a tiramisu. So it started off rough, they forgot to deliver the drink :(. I was really disappointed with the sandwich, there was a lot of bread, lettuce but barley any meat and not much flavor. Really was sad since I was looking forward to a filling meal. The fries were not packaged in a durable container, so they came smushed and soggy. Lastly, the tiramisu looked very promising, but did not deliver. All in all, was very disappointed and was not pleased with my meal.

Awesome slices and awesome slices! We actually ordered a small pizza and six wings. They were DELICIOUS and up in 10 minutes! NYE late night eats were awesome and I'm glad to know that the quality persists. Their kiosk is great and they're super efficient 10/10

So this was a last minute order my last night in dc when it was pouring and I had just got back in from missing my turn off and having my drive take an extra hour. So I appreciated the delivery. The person called to advise me the pizza had arrived in the lobby even though I had the stupid room number listed. But I get it, dc is busy. I get down there and can't find the delivery guy. So I find out he just dumped it with the front desk to get cold. The box was wet so I assume it was never covered to keep the warmth. I got it to my room to discover it was luke warm which everyone knows isn't good. Moving on to the pizza itself, it's sort of a thick doughy pizza. Not a thin ny slice. But it's DC Pizza not NY Pizza. The sauce/dough has an interesting taste and it definitely enhanced the pizza. The pepperoni and sausage was as good as it could be cold but I feel like if the pizza was hot, I could've given a higher score. I would try it again, if I get the chance.

I paid $31 for large pizza and 6 mozzarella sticks and what I got was was basically a medium pizza and 5 mozzarella sticks

Meat in a Box is now DC Pizza and Kabob. Still open til 3 am or 5 am on weekends. Jumbo slice here is cheaper and larger than the pizza with both good. Garlic dipping sauce comes with pizza. Samosas and more available. Felafel is good too. While it is a takeout with seats, priority is given to take outs or calls. Street parking available much of the time.

The pizza here is better than it has any right to be and pretty good for the price. It's my favorite traditional, non-fancy-schmancy pizza in the District that I've had so far. It also freezes and reheats in the oven incredibly well. Got me through having COVID not long ago. It's usually done ahead of schedule and delivery is prompt. I've gotten it delivered several times over the past year or so and just last night did a pickup order. The gyro is also pretty good. Would recommend. One qualm I do have is that their ham is in bits (like bacon bits) rather than little slices or slivers so you don't get the good chewy texture on your Hawaiian pizzas. But hey, you can't have everything you want.

Wanted a "local" gyro to take with me to walk the National mall. Enjoyed it sitting at the MLK Jr monument. Great food great service.

This was our 1st time at this restaurant. We ordered a few jumbo slices of pepperoni/cheese pizza, a cheeseburger, & fries. The jumbo slices are bigger than your head, delicious, and very well priced. The crust was the best, so fresh! The staff are soooo friendly and very quick in preparing and delivering the food. Service was A++++. The menu offers an entire food court from American, Mexican, Seafood, to Pakistini, etc. We WILL be back to try more!!!!!

Poor customer service. Food was cold when we finally found out about where the food was left. Food was left unattended without notifying customers that the food was there and hotel front desk was also unaware because they were not notified of it. Not recommending this place to anyone to say the least!

Ordered from Grubhub after a day visiting the city. Food was just ok, but price was reasonable. Pizza was meh and salad had lettuce that was browning. Thought all was fine-ish until my wife dug into her salad to find a dead fly!! Needless to say, appetites were done at that point! Called to complain and was told "Oh, sorry. Do you want another salad?" Ummmmm, no, thank you!! I asked for a refund, but was told that the owner wasn't around and that he'd call me back later. He never called. Do not order from here!!!

Dont let the look of this place fool you, this is a great shop. I walked in skeptical but I left satisfied. I wasn't really in the mood for Kabobs and so I got a slice of Pizza. THIS THING WAS HUGE. no i mean seriously, it was like 4 pieces of Pizza. insanely large. but in addition to a great portion size, it was also delicious. The crust was thin, soft, but had a snap of a crunch without being burnt. It was a proper amount of cheese, enough in every bite but not so much that i felt like I was eating gum. And the price. under $10. My buddy had the kabobs and he was more than impressed. Although those did take a while to come out of the kitchen. (But I guess that's how you know its fresh). Try this place.

Ordered with Door Dash while at a convention in Renaissance Marriot. Usually when I get quesadillas from anywhere I expect to be "authentic", I end up wishing I ordered Taco Bell. Me and my friend shared chips and DELICIOUS guac, a chicken quesadilla, and one of the best steak quesadillas. We got them both as is even though with mustard and mayo, we were unsure. Glad we just let them do their thing because these were both BANGIN. So good. Even the little mini salad in the corner was so yummy. I wish they had a place like this in NJ.

I'm putting one star simply because I have to. It's really sad just how nasty and ungrateful business owners can be. I've been ordering from this place for a few years now and have ordered from them three times this week. NEVER EVER had an issue in fact they were all extremely nice and sweet. Tonight I ordered the same thing I ordered on Thursday, chicken and cheese without bread. It's not complicated at all just no bread smh. The owner was extremely rude and stated he can't take my order any more. That was my last straw patronizing non Black businesses because they don't have an issue taking our money but don't give a f*ck about Black folk. From this point on, Black business owners only!

I tried to use a very valid gift certificate at this establishment and they were very rude. The cashier was very short with me for no reason and they basically shooed me out the door. I do not recommend.

Very RUDE service man on the phone mistakenly took my card info and when it was declined due to his mistake he said "give me card with good money or get off phone" mind you my card has funds, After resolving the issue by restating my card # man on the phone never took my name for the order, got my order wrong & took 2 hrs to deliver

We went during a trip to DC. My son loved his pepperoni slice. All you need is one slice. Nice crust, good toppings, and very tasty. The guy working the counter was very friendly and even turned down the music for us. Would go back if we are in DC again.

Everytime I order from them they are missing an item i ordered a large group order on Uber eats once again I'm missing food. I am missing my chicken gyro wrap and once i called the store the worker hung up on me and said we packaged everything and said manager will call how if you didn't take my number any other time if i order a drink they either send wrong thing or nothing at all. I am disgusted with this horrible service and they can never get a dime from me again

This is the second time I've ordered pizza from them late night and both times the pizza has been fresh and delicious! I prefer to order from local businesses and not chains and I appreciate how late they are open.

IF I COULD GIVE ONE STAR I WOULD. Ratatouille could make better pizza than this without even being able to read or having long enough arms. White pizza had ranch on it or maybe even mayonnaise idk it was gross and did not taste like Alfredo. The meat lovers pizza was covered in onions and black olives underneath the cheese so you couldn't even pick them off. Onions and olives on meat lovers??? This is not a supreme pizza... The bbq wings were good but not worth it. Considering the total was $57 and the only thing worth it was the 8 wings.

Delicious! The kabob burger was spicy for my taste but I was still able to appreciate it's deliciousness and get out of my comfort zone (almost tasted like a chorizo burger but the spice was slightly different). I love that the cheese melted and streched like on a pizza. The seasoned fries which I did not expect because thought they'd be plain old carry-out fries: were an awesome surprise! The guy working at the counter and making the food was friendly and respectful. Overall a great quick lunch.

I order regularly from here. Amazing kabab burger and wings. They are open till 5am so amazing for college student's late night cravings. This time I ordered a slice of pizza as well and BOYYY IT IS HUGE!! Look at the pic. Kabob burger is as usually amazing. Food is fresh and delicious as always.

Maybe I'm giving DC Pizza & Kabob a 3 star review because I'm mad they changed the name from Meat in a Box. MEAT IN A BOX, how whimsical and intriguing. How can you change your name from something so legendary? Anyways, I'm giving DC Pizza & Kabob a 3 because I think it's great if you're drunk or you need somewhere that is open late. The food is fine but I would not exert any type of effort to get it. I've gotten their halal before on my way home and it was decent but by no means should you travel here, go on a date here, bring your mom here etc. RIP meat in a box imy

I ordered a pizza from them last night and the estimated time of arrival was 11:08 to 11:23. It was already 11:50 and I hadn't heard from them so I decided to call and ask. When I called they were incredibly rude and hung up on me after I had asked when the pizza would arrive. I called again and they just said that it was on its way without even asking me for my name or order. It never arrived and I had already payed for it online. Really disappointed since the last time I ordered pizza it was really good.

I been eaiting pizzas since I am in washingtob DC last 8 years .Trust me they have some magical ways to cook and serve .so delicious jucy pizza wilth allot cheese. Specially thier oven rosted sishtao yammyy cant stop eating .I will go every days off .I would also remomamd my friends thier juicy gyro yammy.GUYS it's all about fresh food lovers and eaters .

Oh man, DC Pizza & Kabob makes late-nights survivable. It is so affordable and so tasty. There's something on the menu for everyone. They're open what feels like all the time and it is super speedy. While it isn't anything fancy, it delivers every.single.time.

It should not have taken an hour and a half to receive this order from a block over from my ordering location. Additionally, receiving the order cold and underdone was unacceptable. Definitely will NOT be ordering from this location again while in town.

The kabob burger is fire. Flat out. I figured it would be good enough, but it was even better than expected. Will definitely order again, probably too much. The Lamb/beef gyro bowl was good. Nothing special but very tasty, good sauce and enough but not too much. Would order again just to fill out my kebab burger order. I also ordered the Meal Buster pizza but got - I'm not even sure. Ham or bacon? Probably bacon, with maybe extra cheese. I'm not sure their normal cheese but this seemed like an extra layer. Anyway, it wasn't what I ordered (I ordered through a third party so maybe that was the problem). I will say this - without the extra saltiness of the stuff on the Meal Buster, the sauce was very sweet. If you like that, cool. I didn't. It wasn't terrible but it was not as good as the rest. Will definitely order the kebab burger (and you should, too) and gyro bowl again here. Will not order the pizza. I hope Yelp isn't too disappointed that I didn't use their prefilled, canned review text... (that I checked and showed up identical for several places) and me calling attention to this will probably mean my review will get nixed. But seriously Yelp? "They sell meal kits and it's great..." urgh

DELICIOUS GREAT QUALITY PIZZA & KABOBS !!! I have been there few times I think this is the best pizza place in the area very consistent quality amazing taste friendly staff and also good kabobs options in the menu simply loved it highly recommend

The food is so nasty here they need to close this location. There pizza is huge slices so what the taste is so horrible. Wings suck they are dry and who in the hell puts lettuce and tomatoes in Philly cheese steak. For God sake people learn how to cook. I wasted my money here and will never come again.

Bottom Line: there's some risk with delivery - but that's ok, my order was not delivered and it was brushed off by them. Compared to the heavily customer service focused businesses in the area, the customer service is sub par. I didn't actually get to try their food and probably will not now. there are plenty of establishments where I'd rather feel more comfortable about spending my money knowing that if something goes wrong, they'll right it. These mistakes happen for everyone, but it's how the business responds to it that determines their value. Details: Placed my order around 230 am for delivery, the delivery was late by 1 hour and had me wait till 4 am where I gave up and fell asleep. I called 2 times while waiting and they said that their delivery man was running late - even though they marked the food as delivered. Food was never delivered. Anyways, things happen, wanted to give the establishment another chance and call them with this issue and ask for that order. Whoever on the call found my order and brushed it off - essentially no rush priority or effort to right it. I even told them that I wanted to review them.

Went for a quick lunch to take home with me, and once again I was blown away by the professionalism. I'm most impressed when food establishments follow cdc protocols. Everything was packaged safely. The workers wore gloves and the food tasted great . I got the beef kabobs .

I've had the dolma (grape leaves), marinated olives, and both the Salmon and Lamb kabob dinners. I was not disappointed with anything I've ordered from here thus far. I haven't ordered the pizza from here yet, but I plan to, once I get tired of kabob plates and grape leaves of course. I don't think that will be anytime soon.

The food here is halal which is what caught our attention. We ended up ordering a jumbo slice of pepperoni pizza and mumbo wings which were both delicious. The food is made fresh so expect to wait atleast 20 mins.

The best pizza I've ever tried in DMV. Go for it if you're a pizza lover. Spicy boneless chicken kabob and lamb kabobs are best, love it. Owned and operated by family.

An unofficial gyro coniseur of sorts I live here and always need a fix no matter what time of day. It takes special people to deal with the ADMO crowd and this family is good people. It's not their first gyro place in this neighborhood and probably not their last. The pizza is good the gyro plate with rice and chic pea gravy heaven. Good prices and plenty to eat. Check them out!

Best halal pizza I've had in DC. Have ordered it almost every week. Their supreme pizza is my favorite

Ordered late at night from Rosslyn. Delivery came fast and p i p i n g hot and damn if it's not delicious. I used Uber Eats to order tho and the description said 'pizza and buffalo wings' but the title shortened it to just pizza and that's all I got: just pizza, when I'm pretty sure the price included wings. Call ahead/right after to confirm your order I guess, cause dang if I can't lie and say it doesn't taste like a greasy salty heaven.
